Castle Noel is an absolute blast. It's so much fun and you will see something from your favorite christmas movie. It does not matter what movie you like they have something from it. You will feel like a kid again here. This is a must do when you are in cleveland. Forget the christmas story house. Come see a castle. Buying tickets ahead is a must. Tour groups are limited to 14 people, and they depart roughly every 30 minutes. The tour guides are super fun. Be warned though it is a 2 hour walking tour. Plan accordingly. It's great for kids and families and older adults. Everyone will enjoy this place. Also, Dwight is an amazing tour guide. I have had him twice now and is absolutely the best.
Visited this amazing place today - and we highly recommend it for not only Christmas lovers but also for anyone that is a Christmas movie buff, and those that love art and theatre! Our guide Tim was fantastic and truly made the tour come to life! We had a great time strolling down memory lane with the “toys of yesteryear” and it was fun hearing folks get excited as they pointed out their childhood favorites. Visiting Castle Noel was a highlight of our visit to the Cleveland area. Thank you Tim!!!
My son and I were visiting from Tampa and took the tour through Castle Noel. I would highly recommend this experience to everyone! If you love Christmas, this is the place for you! And if you’re a Scrooge, you need to go because you will leave there loving Christmas! 😊 I wish we had something like this in Florida but I feel this is truly a one of a kind experience! Thank you to Mr and Mrs Klaus for your hard work and pure love that you obviously put into this place. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and will warm the coldest of hearts. Worth every penny!! 🎄🎄
Castle Noel was such a fun and unique experience! It really feels like stepping into a Christmas movie. The decorations, lights, and displays are so detailed, and there’s something to look at around every corner. It’s one of those places that brings out your inner kid — you can’t help but smile the whole time. Definitely worth checking out, and a perfect spot to visit with family or friends. Wear comfortable shoes there’s a lot of walking and standing!
We had an awesome time at Castle Noel! Loved all the displays and toys. You can truly see how much time, love, and Christmas spirit has been put into this place. A huge shout out to Bill for making our tour fun!
Several improvements and more finished displays since our last visit a few years ago. It's a 90 minute or so guided tour with many photos, toys, and games from the 1950s and 1960s, and one-of-a-kind artifacts from TV shows, movies, and New York department store windows. A very unique place you should visit once for a trip down Christmas memories lane.
Impressive collection of movie memorabilia and window displays. Enjoyed the tour and all the scenery. We went on a weekday in November with plenty of free parking. Met the owner who presented on his newest project. A good experience. Buy tickets in advance or you may regret trying your luck to get in otherwise
Me and my friend went today and had the absolute best experience! We loved all of our guides and how fun they made the experience. But we wanted to shout out Bill who absolutely made our visit. He did such a wonderful job, was so friendly and we could not say better things about him. We would genuinely come back just to see him! If you see this Bill we thought you guys were pretty cool too :) this place is close to home but everyone should get that experience. I applaud all of the staff and everyone behind all of it because it is unlike anything else you will ever see. Thank you all again!

Great Park, first time here, I loved it. It's beautiful. Several different trails to walk, or run. You can even pick up a bike and take on the trails. There is an asphalt path that goes around the fishing pond. Along this trail there are benches to sit taking nature. At the end of this trail you will connect you to the wetlands Restoration pond. This trail is a crushed stone pathway. There is no shade on this trail so be prepared. I had plenty of bird sightings from yellow chickadees, swifts, and even a turkey vulture. Also picked up a sighting of I believe a red-headed crane, but I think it was just a blue heron. Plenty of butterflies along the way. At the end of this path it brings you to a old renovated barn. There is also a restroom at the end of this path. Continuing on the path you will come up on a observation deck looking over the wetlands. There are all sorts of flowers, trees, and water throughout your walk. There's a small playgrounds area with a few climbing apparatuses and swings. I feel this is for younger kids. They also have soccer and baseball fields. There is plenty of room and there is a gazebo and plenty of picnic tables throughout the area. From the parking lot you can also pick up the Schleman's Nature Preserve Trail.
We used to love this park with my family. Kids were enjoying riding on bicycles around the lake, but lately the management completely ignoring major problems that happens there. First of all, the Lake - needs to be cleaned up and all dead fish to removed(horrible viewing) Secondly - playgrounds, that mulch needs to refresh and to be added the new ones! Because of the broken and dirty swings it is dangerous to let your kids play there I would love to continue to visit Buckeys as it is next to my house however management needs to take actions!
This park boasts a great walking path made up of fine gravel and sand with very few inclines for those looking for a nice stroll. It meanders through the woods out around a lake teaming with various fowl, including a couple pair of swans. See if you can spot the muskrats coming out of their homes to play by the waters edge.
Two great kids playgrounds with a noce scenic toepath around a small lake, with a wooden bridge going over it at one point. There are public restrooms located nearby the playgrounds. A few soccer fields and baseball fields are at this park as well.
This park features walking and bike paths and features beautiful scenery, fishing pond, two playground areas, picnic pavilion and several soccer fields. This is a great place to take kiddos if they need to burn off some energy while you enjoy the scenary.
Great park in Medina County. Lots of green space and connected walking/bike trails are well maintained and safe.
Great little country park somewhere for the family to have a great afternoon with each other and why not take the family dog “ please remember to pick up after your animals and be considerate of others “ there are soccer fields and jungle Jim’s handicap area for parking and easy access to the bathrooms walking paths or take you bikes
I had never been here before today and I feel like I've been missing out!!! The views are unbelievable! The trail is all very flat and mainly gravel. We did about 3 miles altogether but didn't finish the entire trail. It has options to go left or right several times and we only did the one way! Can't wait to back again

This park is great for me and my boys to go to during the winter months. They have a small and large dog side. I take my boys to the large side due to being medium to large breed. I love this park because of the nature trails in the fenced in area. I walk on the trails with the boys. There is an open space as well for you to play frisbee and fetch. It is an off lead dog park, however, if your dog does not do well with other dogs there are trails next to the dog park for leashed walks. When it rains alot it can get fairly muddy and puddles begin to form large enough for dogs to lay in. It is a nature park, so this doesn't bother me. My one pup very much enjoys getting all muddy. This is a great winter time alternative for me and my pups to go to when swimming season is over. I love the natural environment the park is in.
Her first dog park experience and it was great!!! Everyone we meet people and dogs were friendly and nice. Everyone was helpful with her first time since she was a little shy.
If you’re looking for one of the best dog parks in Medina County, you absolutely have to check out the dog park at Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park. Part of the Medina County Park District, this park is not only beautifully maintained but also thoughtfully designed with both dogs and their owners in mind. The parking lot is spacious and convenient, with ample room for vehicles, making it easy to pull in even during busier times. There are two Vault toilets, a water fountain for both humans and dogs, and a spray-off station to clean your pets after their romp through the trails. One thing I really appreciate is that there are poop bag stations throughout the parking lot and park, so you’re never without one when you need it. The dog park itself is truly unique. Unlike many dog parks that are just large fenced-in fields—often feeling like “penitentiaries” for dogs—this park offers an off-leash wooded trail experience. You can choose between the small or large dog area, and your dog gets to explore the woods, hike along the trails, and enjoy nature in a fully fenced and safe environment. It’s perfect for dogs who may not have perfect off-leash training but still want to stretch their legs and experience the outdoors. This type of hiking-style dog park is rare and makes this park one of the nicest in the area. The park is consistently clean and well-maintained. Most visitors do a great job cleaning up after their dogs, and the park staff clearly take pride in keeping the grounds in excellent condition. I always make a point to stop here whenever I’m passing through because my dogs love it—they get to run, sniff, and explore, which is perfect for letting them reset during a road trip or just get some exercise. Outside of the dog park, Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park has even more to offer. There’s a large pond in the back, a playground for children, additional trails you can walk with or without your dog, and a giant hill with grassy areas perfect for picnics, playing fetch, or just relaxing. The combination of natural beauty, trails, and amenities makes it a great spot for both locals and travelers passing through. Its location is also extremely convenient—just a couple minutes off Highway 71 in Medina, making it an ideal pit stop for road trips where dogs need to stretch and reset. Whether you’re visiting for a quick break or spending an afternoon exploring, this dog park and the surrounding park area are perfectly suited for both dogs and humans. Overall, the dog park at Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park is hands down one of the top off-leash dog experiences in Medina County. The wooded trails, clean facilities, spacious parking, and thoughtful amenities set it apart from typical dog parks, and the surrounding park area makes it a great destination for families, travelers, and dog owners alike. Anytime I’m in the area, it’s a must-stop for my dogs, and it’s clear why this park has such a great reputation among the local dog community.
A beautiful area to enjoy nature. There is a top class playground with foam flooring and very spacious. A stocked pond to fish or have a picnic lunch by. They also have a paved trail and nature trail. The paved has a story walk so younger children can read a book as you go along the path. There is also a top notch dog park that looks fun as well as another dog trail to walk dogs. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful, wooded dog park. Wonderful trails through the woods. Usually a good amount of dogs. Most owners are responsible and respectful.
This is one of the biggest and coolest dog parks I have ever seen. You dog will love the freedom of running with other dogs in the trails through the woods. They keep water jugs full for the dogs.
Absolutely love this dog park. Trails wrapped within it so you can actually walk your dog while they get to run around and make friends. Easily one of the best dog parks I've ever been to. I drive about 45 minutes every week or so to let my golden retriever play.
My wife and I walk there every evening doing a couple laps around the lake and the nature trails. The park is utilized heavily on play ground, trails, dog park and fishing pond. We often see large piles of feces on the trails. It was upsetting to think that people were not cleaning up after their pets, but that was not the case. One summer evening at dusk my wife and I witnessed the perpetrator of these large excrement. We turned the corner and we’re heading into the wooded portion of the trail and witnessed a nine foot tall large hairy man like creature squatting down leaving a large pile of steaming brown dung on the trail. The creature quickly scurried in the woods when he saw us coming. Please don’t blame dog walkers for poop on sidewalks!

If the kids are wanting to go swimming and you don't want to pay waterpark prices. Make sure to visit Medina Recreation Center in Medina, OH. The last time I took Hannah she was about 5 years old and she loved it! It's just as fun as we remember it. 🫧 Very clean facility 💦 Body water slide Sat and Sun 12-5 🪣 Jungle Cove Big play structure with geysers, sprinklers and a tipping bucket and lion slide for little ones. 🍥 Whirlpool 🏀 Large pool that goes from 3.6 ft up to 5ft max with basketball hoop 🔥 Hot tub for ages 16 and over only. If no one is using it, press the green button ✅ on the wall to start the jets. It runs for 15 min and Hannah loved the bubbles and lights. 🐊 Sit on floating crocodile 🦺 Life vests to use 🌊 Life guards ♿ Handicap accessible 🌊 In the next room is diving boards and lap lanes 🌬️ Inflatable obstacle course only on select days March 23-24 April 13-14, 27-28 for ages 8 and up. 🚨 Underwater color changing lights *Not sure if this is the case all the time but they did not do safety breaks, so that was a plus, no interruptions. Looks like in the rules they do it 25 min to the hour at their discretion. Waterslide does not run until 12pm. 💰 Only 8.00 person, gives you full access to the day pass which includes gym, pool, track upstairs, and there is a room off near the entrance that has a rock climbing wall and fitness training equipment. @bring photo ID as it's required and you will have to sign in. Leisure pool with Jungle Cove opens on weekends at 9 am and various times on weekdays, slides open at 12. Check their website for days and times ahead. We had a blast, they have family changing rooms, and men's and women's locker rooms with showers and bathing suit spin dryers and sauna. Showers were clean, bring your own 🧼, 🧴.
So I have had a rec pass for a few years. Currently expires in March. And I've barely got to use it because of the ridiculous weekend hours. It's a nice facility and my main reason for choosing here was the indoor walking track. None of the month to month gyms have a walking track just treadmills. But the issue is the hours on the weekend are insanely restrictive. Wouldn't you think more people would need to workout on weekend days? But nope only till 6 PM? And now the mornings aren't till 8 am. Plus they close all the time for random days, holidays (more than just Christmas and Thanksgiving), a whole week in July/August just for cleaning. It makes it impossible to form a consistent schedule if you have a job, are in college, have responsibilities, etc. The weekends should minimally be open till 9 pm like the weekdays are!
The Medina Rec lifegaurds would rather my daughter not wear a life jacket then the one we just bought. She loved it, it kept her up and had a harness underneath it so she could swim freely they said it had to be coast gaurd approved and theirs were but when she wore their life jacket her face would go under and she coundt keep her self up. But shes allowed to not wear one?! Ridiculous! Shes 1 years old learning to swim. They should worry about their personal hygiene and personal fitness of thier staff before messing with an attended child having a blast.
Very clean fun for the family. Haven’t had a chance to utilize the full facility, however, the rec center is in partnership with Medina county foster care for job and family services and for that alone I’d give them 5 stars. Since ours is a foster family we were able to enjoy a free day with bounce houses and the swimming pool area for the kids. I would like to see an “out of county rate” vs. “out of Medina city school rate” since we live fairly close (just not technically Medina city, but rather cloverleaf). Just seems since our address is technically Medina, Ohio it doesn’t seem fair to have to pay $67 extra per month for family of 5 if I want a membership. Overall, we love the place and highly recommend it. It’s very clean and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
I only visit once every so often when visiting my parents in Medina, but I love this rec center each and every instance I utilize it. Staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful, the equipment is spread apart/distanced accordingly to follow all the existing COVID-19 protocols. Masks are required by all members and guests. Staff are masked always. A day pass is only $7.00, which works perfectly for someone like me and my overtly sporadic use of the facility when home to visit. Great amount of cardio, weight machines, and free weight equipment, running/jogging/walking track, and other amenities to take advantage of. Overall....an excellent place to work out! 💪🙌👏👍👍
My wife and daughter went here, 20 bucks, no slides, life guards followed them around rudely and no signs about the slides extremely rude would like a refund
I came with a friend on a Friday! My 4 year old twins had a blast!!!! I love this child friendly swimming area ! It is so cool!! Every lifeguard was kind and extremely attentive. We are definitely coming back. We had such a great time! Facility is clean and extremely kid friendly!
Great facility. Fun pool area for the kids, and we also have our daughter utilizing the lap pool with Medina Swim United. We hope to use more of the facility soon!

This is really more of a model train store that has some toys, one of a kind finds, museum "pieces" and most certainly everything to do with model trains. So don't go thinking it's a "museum" per say, but STILL worth a stop if you're in the area! Go have fun!
Ugh. They have a decent selection, mainly O-27 stuff. I asked the what I guess was the store owner about a dcc gp40 diesel and he tried to downsell me seriously on regular Walther locomotives. Didn't even give me a chance to ask about n gauge locomotives. I mean seriously? Did he want really even try to sell to a guy who was willing to spend a few hundred? No. Screw him, I'll shop elsewhere.
It is a store with cases with trains in them. Interesting, but I thought there were layouts with trains operating in them but there is only one in the front window. Also did not see any toys, only trains.
Originally gave this one star because we came today because it said it was opened and apparently only opened on Friday. Anyways, the owner went above and beyond to let us tour anyway. This place is amazing!!!!
Disappointed at the hours, medina is quite a drive so it's not possible to make it by the time I get out of work. Have never been able to get the timing right.
Closed, unfortunately....owner hopes to reopen at a later date in Wellington. Visited a number of years ago and found it very interesting.
Prices are very expensive however I'm not a collector so I don't have a say. However they do have a lot of variety
Locomotive overkill! So much to see. Truly a Medina landmark and icon. Love to shop Christmas at Ormandy's!

I just parked here to eat my lunch but it was well kept. The child on the playground appeared to be having fun and the mom looked like she was enjoying the sunny day. The cops even enjoyed their lunch too. Easy access and trails to walk.
Reagan Park is a decent park but doesn't quite measure up to some of the others in the area for hiking and, to a lesser extent, mountain biking. Huffman Park (which is 2 minutes away) will get you deeper into the woods and connecting more with nature, in my opinion. To be fair, the trail systems of the two parks are interconnected, so you could say they're more or less the same, but the Reagan side has scruffier woods and loops around a number of sports fields that simply make it less engrossing to start off in. From a mountain biking standpoint, the trail is also considerably rougher, which can be a plus or minus depending on whether you like that kind of trail. Generally, I visit it when I want a change of pace, but 4 out of 5 times, I'm probably picking Huffman instead.
Pleasantly surprised by the length of the walking trail here. You can take the paved trail only which wraps around all the baseball diamonds, or opt for the wooded trail as well which winds through the canopy back to the parking lots. We loved it! Perfect place for all capabilities. Handicap accessible.
Very beautiful and peaceful park. Deer all over and pretty green creek. Lots of trails. Nice getaway from the city.
Medina does it again! What other city builds a bike path in the woods for people to ride on....let alone MULTIPLE paths! They're so cool and challenging but easy enough that my 11 year old could do it with help and support.
I walked my dog around here it is a very nice park. I think I didn't see it all so I will be back.
Went to Reagan Park for sledding today and had a blast! The hill was nice and steep with super packed snow made the sledding very fun. Brought hot chocolate to enjoy while we were there. I highly recommend it!
Neat gem in the middle of medina. Cool hiking trails. Good spot to stop and eat your lunch on break.

Such a beautiful park! Lots of deer, bunnies and birds. The walking trails are pretty decent in size and there are little signs about space along the trail. Overall 10/10 (5.0 stars).
Awesome disc golf course. Got turned around a couple times could use a little more signage and directions maybe.
Great park to take a stroll or play some disc golf
Went here for the Frisbee golf course. It wasn't perfect but was mostly well marked (were a few exceptions) and pretty fun for us. I would recommend it and we are planning on coming back. The deer were pretty bold and didn't seem bothered by people at all.
A very peaceful, beautiful place with nicely-maintained trails. It's definitely worth the visit!
Great place for disc golf the guy that brought disc golf to Ohio designed this course all though the course has gone through many changes hole 4 is still as it was when it began if your into disc golf this is a must play

I love this park! It's super beautiful and it has a variety of trails. Also, there are a few calisthenics stations scattered around the park. They're not super well maintained, but it works!
I’m actually very disappointed about the upkeep of the bike pump track. I seen a picture that looked awesome and was excited but when we got here, it looks like it was deserted. The walking trails look nice to walk though. Please fix this asap.
My favorite trail in Medina by far. Includes lots of inclines for a good workout instead of just a straight, flat trail. Several bridges & a few tunnels too. Lots of beautiful views & different path options to change things up if you’re a frequent goer. I’ve seen lots of wildlife as well; so many bunnies! Restrooms & water fountains are available around the halfway mark which is always a plus. There is also a cafe at the entrance which serves smoothies, coffee & more; staff are very friendly. Benches are scattered throughout the entire trail if you need a break. Always nice to see my tax money being put into parks like this! I cannot wait for more expansions of this trail.
This is a great spot for walking but also for biking. Some days there is a small Cafe on the premises that caters to cyclists. There's a spot to wash off bikes or fix a flat tire. The enclosed building is available to rent out & it's great, very clean. The path to walk is paved & it goes under a cool railroad bridge. There is a path for mountain biking which is very cool. Along the paved path there are some pieces of equipment for working out arms, etc. A few steep areas on the path no matter which way you go.
Beautiful park with many points of interest. Wonderful job converting a former golf course to a public park. A great Spring day made everything perfect. But, I have to admit, this park will put your 'endurance' to the test. If it wasn't for the paved paths, biking, for me, would have been too much. Definitely would love to come again, but ... for a hike! And, then to reward my successful efforts, a nice stop at Spokes to refresh and recharge.
Beautiful trail with bridges, landscaping, and creeks. Very hilly and steep inclines at times. Walking trails are paved and well kept. In the winter wear proper footwear, snow on the inclines get slippery. Our dogs loved it.
Walk all 18 bridges if are serious about employing a challenging method to get 10K+ steps in. There are public restrooms at the River Styx entrance. STEEP hills. Stop and grab a bite and a beverage at Blue Heron Brewery on your way back.
What great hiking trails and MTB trails. MTB track was closed due to mud & wetness. Thoughtful of management to preserve trails. Looks to be challenging. Area for a bmx style track/course being built. Trail head has Spokes cafe and other side of I-71 connects to Blue Heron clubhouse and banquet building. Beautiful Ohio wildlife and scenery. Trails are not flat. Good undulation for a more moderately challenging walk, run or ride. Saved on my google map.

Always noticed this shop on Pearl Rd. but never stopped in until today. Such a cute store with very reasonable prices and even a cozy fire to warm you up!!!! I will definitely be returning!
Found a couple cool items but be careful if you pull in from the direction I came you might bust the frame on your vehicle. Big drop off from pavement to gravel. I have a full size truck and it slammed pretty good. When I left my check engine light was on, probably knocked a sensor loose or something. Ridiculous
Great place! Love the items I find on the front porch. Decorated my front porch with things I found here. . The restored furniture room has gorgeous finds! Vintage Christmas decor too!
If you have time, you should definitely stop in here! Lots of things to look at and peruse through! Debbie was very helpful!
Have driven by countless times but didn't stop until recently. So glad I did! Great finds at great prices, and friendly staff.
CAREFUL on the entrance. Can mess up your car. Typical antiques. Don't make a big trip for it.
Great finds and very reasonable prices. This is a fun shop. Only criticism is each item is written up on a separate sales slip. Very weird.
Great antique shop. Always have charming items. Good prices.
