500-acre zoo with 1,700+ animals from Africa & North America in replicas of their natural habitats.

This has been an incredible experience. Visiting the world’s largest natural habitat zoo for the first time is something I will never forget. Witnessing the beauty of these animals in their environment with plenty of space to roam safely and freely is truly a gift. We were unable to experience the entirety of the zoo which makes us eager to be back again soon. The zoo is seemingly well maintained as are the animals. What a beautiful sight to see. It’s ethereal. Our tram-ride with Isaiah was amazing. He was so friendly, personable as he was knowledgeable. You could quite literally feel the love he has for his work through his words. He was the first impression of the beginning of our experience; what better way to start our day. We can’t wait to come back!
Left the zoo on a sour note. Went on a Sunday. Went as a group of about 15. Bought tickets in person. Some had family annual membership. It is a great deal and I highly recommend especially if you dont live too far away. Lots of walking (got my steps in) but we got to see some a good amount of animals, especially on the African side. A bit quieter on north american side. The tram was easy to use and the shuttle bus at the end was great from one parking lot to another and both handled strollers no problem. Everything was good until the end when we were purchasing our group photo that we took at the entrance. The guy was basically trying to doop us and take our money. He said started with the highest package, said it was their only option i was like are you sure he said yes and i wasn't going to so it the he said well we can do this option...still to high and then he dropped one more time to what photo options I actually wanted. The zoo should be more TRANSPARENT. Display what my options are so I can decide and know what I am paying for, not what an employee decides to tell me. It feels like they are con people trying to take my money. Shoot, the employees probably make commission off of what they say for all I know.
Absolutely fantastic zoo. This zoo makes me proud to be a resident of North Carolina! The venue is easily accessible especially for those who might have mobility issues like myself. There are many zoo representatives roaming the park and will answer any questions you have. They were all very pleasant people. The paths are very well designed and make you feel like you’re in the Forrest at all times. There is substantial elevation changes so be prepared to exercise a bit. Animals on display vary with the seasons and times of day. Keep in mind that the creatures on display have their own minds and don’t always do what humans expect. You might not get to see every animal up close and personal. The habitats of each species are enormous. It feels like you’re viewing the animals in their own environment. Great family experience!
Beautiful zoo, well designed in natural setting. I especially enjoyed the exhibits where the animals had lots of room to roam. Good variety of animals and good, varied opportunities for children to engage with and learn about them, as well as play in a spacious outdoor area. Lots of concession areas too although many were closed given the small crowd size and lateness in the day when I visited (midweek afternoon in early November). Be prepared to do a lot of walking and dress appropriately for outdoor conditions. Seated mobility scooters are available for those with mobility limitations.
After being members of the NC Zoo for almost 10 years, we took our first "Ride and-a-Guide" today. All I can say is, "why did we wait so long?" They squeezed us in early Monday morning for a 2 hour tour and I just can't say enough great things about it. The weather was perfect and there was hardly anyone in the park so we were able to ride right up to each habitat with no problem. It was great! And most of all, shout out to our fantastical guide, Brandon, who was wonderful! So knowledgeable about every aspect of the zoo, even for seasoned members like ourselves. It was well worth the price and would be a wonderful experience for first time visitors or regulars, like our family. Our tour was for our son's birthday, but I would highly recommend this for anyone that wants a close up, first hand look around to the most beautiful spot in Asheboro!
Beautiful place to visit. We had a great time although several of the animals were sleeping or not in their habitats. That will not stop us from returning. Highly recommend for everyone, just bring some good walking shoes.
Such a fun zoo, they have other activities to do inside as well. We paid to try the canopy course, but there were also options to walk through a butterfly greenhouse, feeding the giraffes, etc for an extra fee. We did end up feeding the giraffes as well, 10/10 would recommend!
Its a great place to get a good walk in. Lots of terrain to cover. Unfortunately we drove 6 hours and they would barely honour the military ID (active duty) for the entire family. The service member received $2 off the rest of the fam paid full price. it was $86 for 3 kids and 2 adults. Animals are great but I feel like some are lonely? Polar bear was on his own, Grizzly bear, one elephant.... I remember going there years ago and there was an entire herd of elephants? Who knows where they were hiding. We also saw a copperhead snake on the trail, which they do have a lot of warnings posted, but there was literally no zoo crew to be found anywhere to warn other visitors or to remove the snake, with all the small children walking around. Food was very overpriced which is to be expected.

Amazing! Our guides Marcus and Alex were fun conversation and made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time! My 8yr old had the time of his life on these zip lines, going tree to tree. These were by far the longest ones he has ever done and so far the most fun! I thank Marcus and Alex for the great time they provided us!
Great experience, tour guides were great fun and made it a special thing. 14 something zips meant we were up in the air a decent amount of the time for our smaller group. Great for my 8 year old daughter who also had a blast. Got to stop halfway through and see a beautiful little spot and take some pictures. All around great time would recommend to anyone looking to go on a quick adventure.
My husband and I went for the first time ever it was so much fun! And the tour guys Caleb and Marcus were awesome and made sure we were safe the entire time and also made it so much fun as well! Would definitely go back for sure! Thanks for the great time!
So much fun for my 2 girls and the wife and I the guides were hilarious and really made for a fun excursion. Thanks to Henny and Caleb. Well done guys 💪👍
We spent the afternoon on this exhilarating experience soaring through the Ziplines in the lush forest... it's a fun 2 hours and 14-15 Ziplines.. best of all kids 6 and up can do it... I made a same day reservation and we drove up... the process was pretty seamless with a quick consent form. Our host was awesome and the guides were a pair of entertaining young guys! It's $40 per head plus tips... close to $200 for our afternoon, so quite a chunk of change for a couple of hours of entertainment, but definitely worth a visit!
They were amazing, great experience for the price. If you can have Easton, Evan, or Tyler as your guide even better. They were kind and funny. Handsome too if that's your thing. Everyone we talked to were welcoming.
My husband and I tried this place and we had a blast. It took about 2 hours and it was so much fun. I was a little nervous but the more we did the more relaxed I became. The staff was nice and friendly. We definitely want to do this again.
Had a great time screaming through the woods with 2 great guides! It is a very long course and worth the money. For us it was a halfway point from Cincinnati to myrtle beach and it worked perfectly to break up the drive. We will definitely stop here in the future!

Spent a lovely Thursday evening with old friends and great beer during trivia night at Four Saints Brewing Company in Asheboro. Definitely a place to check out when in Asheboro, NC.
Dixon & Megan welcomed us at the bar. Tried the pilsner & wheat beer - delicious on a warm day after visiting the street fair. Also tried the barleywine - wow, definitely something for a cold winter day. Looking forward to visiting again.
A great place to chill with a local craft beer. The beer doesn't suck, but maybe not as adventurous as other breweries in the Piedmont area. I like this place because it's so laid back. You can order a great sub next door as food isn't served here (yet?).
The two bartenders Cody and Burton were so welcoming being this was my first time at the brewery. Made me feel very welcome and makes me want to return. They have a nice selection of beer and the 3 I had were incredible.
Small breweries always succeed at providing a cool, inviting atmosphere to hang out. They aren't usually as successful in brewing good beers. Four Saints is the exception! These folks know how to make good beer, real good, on top of the amazing atmosphere. From the Omie blonde to the Flowers & Fog IPA, they knock it out of the park. The bartenders are passionate about their trade and their product, and the cherry on top was an amazing food truck just outside the door. Highly recommend.
Great place to spend and afternoon or night with friends or family! The variety of beers is really good. There are always activities to enjoy every day. The location is perfectly located in Asheboro downtown.
We tried 8 beers that we selected personally in 2 custom flights between 2 of us. All of the beers were great quality. Not all are going to be to everyone's taste, but there is something for everyone. All of their beers seem to be just a bit better than the standard for that type of beer. So many great ones to choose from. There's also trivia nights, and live music frequently. A wonderfully lively place where you can strike up great conversation with someone next to you, or your knowledgeable and friendly bartender. Prices are great too!!! Like really great!!! Especially for such awesome beer. Fun place. Will be returning soon!
Been wanting to visit this place…Checked out the website to see what they had going on. Everything looked good. Drove 30 minutes to find out they’re closed for a private event. Turns out they posted an instagram reel an hour before they “opened” saying they’d be closed. So that’s not great. So unless you want to gamble on whether they’re open or not… opt for one of the many breweries who are open when they say they’re open.

Visited here with my daughter, son in law, grands and mother this past weekend. Nice little gift shop and was greeted by the receptionist who was super friendly. The collection was very cool and was surprised by the memorabilia of uniforms and other collections over the many many years. Aircraft were great as well. Very cool seeing some aircraft I haven’t seen in person yet. The two hangers are full and many displays throughout. Heard they may be adding more in the near future and can’t wait to get back to see what is added to it.
The North Carolina Aviation Museum is a quiet and peaceful spot, perfect for those who appreciate aviation history without the crowds. While the exhibits aren’t arranged in the most organized way and there’s not a lot of activity, the museum has a charming, country-style atmosphere that adds to its appeal. The setting is relaxed, making it easy to take your time exploring. The admission price is reasonable, making it a good value for an enjoyable visit. If you’re looking for a low-key aviation experience, this is a great choice!
Had a great experience. Had lots of WW1 and WW2 artifacts/memorabilia. The aircraft featured in the museum were beautiful. My favorite being the Cox Hawk and the A-26. Make sure to dress warm around this time though because there is no heat.
Awesome obviously they are adding to it and working on it but it's a great start for the price not bad also they give first responders a discount so that's nice also. It's a great slice of history and you get to see things from all sides of wars.
Came out for this year's fly-in and I love bringing the kids for a mix of car show, Cool airplanes and some coffee. Definitely recommend checking out the museum. There is lots of memorabilia in there and worth a pit stop if you're in the neighborhood.
My team and I went to the Air Museum for a photo shoot. We were overwhelmed with incredible customer service, true rock star access! The staff was brilliant; the museum was ideal for our needs. We could not have been happier with the experience.
Locates at the Ashboro Regional Airport, this two hanger museum is a pleasure to explore. It contains planes as well as memorabilia. We arranged for a docent lead visit.but you can walk around by yourself because of excellent signage. Contains 1 large ww11 bomber and many smaller military , civilian planes, and a few drones. Hangars can get warm so dress appropriately. Tickets are required at the door but very reasonable. Enjoy 2-4 hours of aviation pleasure.
Visited during the September Fly-In. Very nice museum filled with many considerable historic displays. Truly worth a drive or flight to see, and I hope to return when I have more time to take it all in.

My Father, Morris has always been a huge Harley Davidson fan. He wanted to go to visit the owner who is one of my Daddys friends. He has a workshop in back for cycles. A small restaurant downstairs full of original painting done by the owner. The upstairs is a free vintage museum. I will definitely return of I'm ever this way again.
Loved it. The motorcycle collection is interesting but the cafe below it is fantastic. Worth a stop if you are passing through the area.
Super cool place. They have a bunch of nice old bikes. All of them are Harley Davidsons, but there's a good variety. Cool memorabilia, New old stock parts, toys, posters, pictures etc... Definitely worth a trip. No cost, but leave a donation!
Cute little place to eat, with a museum upstairs. Great place to ride your motorcycles to and have a meal with friends!
Great Collection. Do call for hours. What's on the net aren't the correct hours. Donation for Museum.
Great place to stop and grab a bite to eat, especially if you're into old Harley Davidson motorcycles. They have a museum style collection upstairs that you can go look at. It has all kinds of memorabilia in it as well. We had a great time there looking at all the classic motorcycles.
There is a great diner located here as well. The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable. The wait staff is fantastic. We showed up with 10 people 20 minutes before closing time, and they served us with a smile. Great motorcycle museum too.
Good food, reasonable prices! Nice vintage Motorcycle Museum. Friendly and accommodating staff.

You'll need to spend a week here to see it all! Thankfully, I'm a local. I love this place. I bring all my out-of-town guests here. They always find something amazing and can't wait to come back. Plan to spend a few hours here, so that means, don't show up just before closing time. As far as some of the other comments about the manager, all employees here have only ever been exceptionally helpful and nice.
It's practically a mall, this huge shop is chock full of just about every sort of antique you can picture whether it's truly old or just a bit closer to modern. I spotted tableware and tables and chairs, some beautiful looking davenports, cabinets for displaying china, footstools, Tiffany-style lamps and I was particularly drawn to the traffic light because who doesn't want one of those decorating their garage? Prices looked to be appropriate but I haven't been to a similar shop in a while so how can I compare. The size could be overwhelming - it's almost as big as a Walmart! Service is friendly.
As a couple, my husband and I love browsing through antique stores and thrift stores. The day we visited Asheboro to explore some of the stores he had heard about through a coworker, we intended to roam the streets and visit every place that piqued our interest. As it turned out, the sheer size of the Collector's Antique Mall found us wandering through the aisles for almost 4 hours. So many treasures to be found! By the time we had finished, everything was preparing to close for the day. It was a wonderful experience and this place will be on our list to visit again.
Great place to find oddities to everyday knick knacks.
I do not believe I saw everything in the store! Very large store and well laid out, extensive selection! Wonderful atmosphere and excellent customer service.
Love this store, it's a relaxing way to look and shop especially with family and friends that come for a visit, the owners are so nice and if you are looking something special they will show you atzacly where it's at
Very nice place! It's worth the trip.
There’s always such a great variety of things at reasonable prices, and the staff is friendly.

So peaceful place wow such a amazing place beautiful area . Im thinking if some one want peacefull shopping and enjoy that's mall is best it's feeling relex..
This spot used to be the place to be. Most of the stores packed up shop years ago. Still a good selection there for different things. Movie theater is always great. My son had a blast at the arcade located in the mall. All around pretty clean. Knowing what it used to be it definitely lost some of its spark.
Great place to go for some great deals! They have some really good food in the front as you walk in. If you like Japanese food you'll like it. The mall is not huge, but it's big enough to walk around and have a nice time!
It's a small town mall. Not huge, not a large variety, but this does typically create a calm & quick checkout shopping setting. I'd advise double checking the shop you're going to is still open. The stores with separate entry keep the place going...5 & below, Ross, Books-a-million, Chick-fil-A. Plus the movie theater is there.
Uncrowded got a lot of different sites to see different stores from Kay Jewelers to Ross and you can't forget Ulta's and books-a-million, and Leslie lots of food places to eat and 5 and below
Carmike cinemas pleased with the visit. First movie there in a long time the theaters and restrooms were clean and hospitable. Theater was a smidge warm during the show but I didn't completely melt.
It's a small cozy mall. Not much to it. I used to be of the opinion it needs more and there isn't much there but it's enough.
A bit smaller than other malls, but a nice little place to go to! I wonder how long it's been here? I also love how there is information about history and local attractions written all over the walls!

One of the best thrift/ antique stores I have been to. It's 2.5 stories and an awesome variety. Since it's a flea market, different people have their items for sale so prices vary quite a bit. Either way, I'll be back for sure.
Absolutely love this store. The employees are wonderful and so very kind. And, the place is literally filled with so many awesome pieces. I felt like I found so many treasures, and left lots that I hope to be able to come back and find. Definitely a place worth stopping at. The wonderful gentleman at the counter even helped carry my box to my car as I had my two toddlers with me. You will not be disappointed here 😊
Definitely my favorite antique store in town. I have been going to it for a number of years and can just cruise and browse for hours--always finding something new throughout the time of my visit. I have bought several things in there and the prices are reasonable for the merchandise. They are more than willing to keep it within range on all prices. Lots of stuff in the shop ranging from furniture to small collectibles. The hours are great and it is a place that you won't regret that you went in.
Good place to pick if your into that! Enjoyed my conversation with, who I believe was, the owner. Been here twice now with over a year span between visits and the product definitely changed.
I love going here every time! the people that work there are very nice and I hhave fond memories and my grampa working here and coming to work with him and looking at all the things especially the crazy stuff upstairs
I love the flea marketeers so much, I've been coming here since I was 5 years old and this place never gets old. The people who run it are super nice, the prices aren't horrible. They used to have 50 cent beanie babies at one of the booths, it was my favorite thing to buy every time I went. This is always the first place I go when I'm in downtown Asheboro. If you're there definitely stop by, the parking lot near there is also great to park at. I always like looking at all the weird stuff upstairs, amazing place!
Lots of good antiques, staff is really friendly, but some of the vendors booths are tight.
I haven’t been in here once that I did not find multiple items to purchase. Great selection most prices are very reasonable for what you’re getting.

Quiet, clean, and friendly! The space was open and welcoming. There was ample space for me to spread out at a big table to complete my work. I look forward to getting work done there each week.
Always a positive experience. The people who work there are nice and so helpful.
Everyone here was so kind! I came over just to print a couple papers for the court next door and needed help. They are so helpful and had a notary on staff ready to help sign my papers, who was also the nicest person. I was having a hard day and the library made it so much better. Thank you guys!!
Quiet, comfortable atmosphere with plenty of resources. The Randolph room is great for genealogy and local history research. The staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive.
This library caters to the public. I like that they have resources for people to walk in and get assistance information. The space is very nice and the staff friendly!
The staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for always helping our community!
We usually go straight to the kids area of the library and it's been great every time we've gone in there. I hope to explore more of the library.... children permitting 😄😄😄

Dropped my operating vintage wall clock off 3 months ago for a cleaning and I was quoted 4 weeks to get back. They never called me, I had to stop by twice to get it. The first time was about 6 weeks and the clock was in pieces. After 6 more weeks I decided to go back, the clock was reassembled and he said it no longer ran and cost 4-500 bucks to fix. I’m not a clock mechanic so how can I argue with any of this. Go down the street to the other store and avoid this place, that’s what I should have done.
