Unforgettable Experience at Domaine Serene Our visit to Domaine Serene was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in an atmosphere of elegance, knowledge, and world class hospitality. Michael guided our tasting, and he was absolutely exquisite. His deep knowledge of the wines, vineyards, and terroir was impressive, he asked the right questions and tailored our tasting experience perfectly. It was fascinating to learn about how the soil and climate influence the grapes, something I had never fully appreciated before. The winery itself is breathtaking. Nestled in the rolling hills of Oregon, Domaine Serene offers stunning views that stretch for miles. The limestone tasting rooms add a unique, almost ethereal ambiance, making the experience feel even more special. And knowing that they have a sister vineyard in France only adds to the prestige and craftsmanship behind their wines. Every wine we tasted was exceptional, rich, complex, and beautifully balanced. Joining their wine club was an easy decision, as it offers more benefits than any other I’ve encountered. Plus, the food pairings were spot on. We indulged in oysters, a beautifully curated charcuterie board, and artisan breads, all of which elevated our tasting experience even further. I truly can’t say enough great things about Domaine Serene. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or just beginning to explore the world of wine, this is an experience you won’t want to miss. I highly encourage everyone to visit—you’ll be captivated from the first sip to the last.
This winery is absolutely amazing. The moment you arrive, it feels like you’ve stepped into another country like Italy. Even just walking around the property is a breathtaking experience. The views are stunning, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and welcoming. The service is incredibly professional you can tell everyone here truly knows and loves what they do. The staff makes you feel cared for from the moment you arrive. The grounds are expansive, with plenty of quiet, private spots where you can relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and take in the beauty around you. Rolling hills, vibrant nature, and peaceful scenery surround you at every turn. I didn’t want to leave. I’d love to come back and stay longer next time. Thank you for creating such an incredible place it’s a truly unforgettable experience. ♥️❤️‍🔥🥰
Domaine Serene was our final stop of the day after visiting Domaine Drouhin and Soter wineries. It’s located off the same street as Drouhin, so the vibe is similar, but I preferred this property over its neighbor, though it ranks below Soter. Like many large estate wineries, the atmosphere felt a bit cold and robotic. However, our server, Sean, deserves praise. When we mentioned we were tired of whites, he switched up our tasting on the spot and even arranged two side-by-side comparisons, elevating the experience far beyond the standard estate tasting. The wines are quite expensive—likely requiring a higher tax bracket to consider purchasing—but the tasting provided a solid sample that showcased their quality. If we had stuck with the standard tasting, I’d rate this place a solid 4 for its nice wines, beautiful property, and steep tasting fee. But Sean’s flexibility, attention to our preferences, and thoughtful comparisons between vineyards and vintages made the experience elevated, bumping it up to a 5 in my book.
Made a reservation for this winery because of the known wine, views, and local farms to source for their charcuterie and cheese boards. When we arrived, we were greeted with a splash of brut and then had a table outside on the patio. While I was in the bathroom, the waiter dropped off the first two tastings, and “didn’t have time to talk to us about them”. For $60 a tasting, this is not ok. We’re here to learn about wine, not overpay on poor experiences. I also really dislike wineries dropping off two wines at a time, they get warm and it feels rushed. We then sat there with the wine in our glasses waiting for him to come back to tell us about the wine. After 40 minutes we left. Michael only had 3 other tables, there’s no reason he couldn’t have been attentive to our reservation for 2 people. Additionally when you book the reservation states there’s a wine tour in the cellar and that was never mentioned or done. The reservation is also only 90 min long, so waiting 40 plus minutes to even get started isn’t enjoyable.
If I could give this winery more stars - I would! The location is spectacular, and the tasting room and patio are gorgeous. We had such a beautiful experience. Zack, their Sommelier, led us through an extensive tasting experience that included Flagship wines, Member exclusive wines and several others. We enjoyed everything! My husband and I are wine connoisseurs and enjoy trying new wines to add to our Cellar. We found many favorites during our tasting with Zack. We are sure to return. And will order some of our favorites now we are back home. Highly recommend! Make sure you arrange an appointment.
Zachary was an absolutely excellent guide, showcasing the different attributes and subtleties of their wines. These wines are highly rated for a reason. The property and feel of this winery is of the higher-end ones in Napa or France.
I attended a wine tasting with a Winery member. They had a table reservation on a Sunday. This was a lovely experience.
A great tasting experience at Domaine Serene. Ciara, our host, was truly fantastic; generous with her time, knowledgeable about the wines and enthusiastic. The domaine was very accommodating of our six month old who refused to nap! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience doing the tasting flight at Domaine Droughin. As others have noted, the location and view are breathtaking, and it was nice to walk around afterwards. The tasting itself was a wonderful experience with our host friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the wine she was pouring and the company history. The wine, as advertised, is a Burgundian take on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and it hits at a very high quality for me. I definitely plan to come back as they release more.
I loved this winery from the moment I arrived and didn’t want to leave to go to the next stop on my wine tour! Sitting on the patio overlooking the beautiful vineyard views was such a relaxing delight. The customized tasting menu, knowledgeable staff, and tasty complimentary nuts and crackers elevated the tasting experience. Sophia, who poured our wines, was the best! She was so kind and gave us the interesting history about how each wine was made. I look forward to visiting again.
Domaine Drouhin was the first stop on our planned day of tasting in the Willamette Valley during an extended weekend stay in Portland. While there was nothing wrong with our visit, nothing particularly wowed us either. The property is very nice, but we arrived just as a morning rain was subsiding, so we didn’t get to experience its full scope. The tasting itself was pleasant, offering a nice sample of their Oregon wines alongside their French estate wines, showcasing the different regions they produce. The tasting price was on par with the other wineries we visited that day. Of the three places we went to, this was the least memorable, though nothing was inherently wrong. If you enjoy French wines, this might be a great spot to visit; otherwise, you might want to explore other options among the many choices in the Willamette Valley.
First visit. Last minute decision so no surprise that there were no tasting reservations available. Undaunted, we decided to create our own tasting experience via the single glass menu since one of our party is a certified sommelier with the CMS. We appreciated that Ben spoke to us without condescension. He was most hospitable and informative staff member, both able and willing to answer a few questions so we could shape our tasting decisions. He took a few moments when delivering our warm gougères to answer questions about the Caballus, as well as the Zephrine, which contributed helpfully to my decision about which bottle to eventually take home as a gift for a friend. The fermentation area was open to the public.
Beautiful winery with an outdoor patio overlooking the vineyards and mountains. There were many French wines from their sister vineyard on the tasting we had. Some of the Pinots were fuller bodied than I am used to, but still delicious. I loved the atmosphere and enjoyed the tasting!
Outstanding Wine Tasting Experience! The Drouhin Oregon Experience with Bryan - Absolutely Phenomenal! Holy Pinot Noir, Batman! What an incredible afternoon at Drouhin Oregon celebrating our friends' wedding anniversary! We signed up for "The Drouhin Oregon Experience" and Bryan delivered an experience that was worth every single sip. From the moment we sat down, Bryan had us laughing and learning in equal measure. This guy doesn't just know wine - he practically IS wine! His passion for the craft was infectious, and his humor kept everyone engaged throughout the entire tasting. We've never learned so much about Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills while simultaneously snort-laughing. The wine was absolutely spectacular. Each pour told a story of the Willamette Valley's unique territory, and Bryan made sure we understood not just what we were tasting, but WHY it tasted that way. The flagship Cuvée Laurène? Chef's kiss - pure liquid poetry in a glass. Bryan's energy was contagious. If you're looking for a wine tasting that's both educational and entertaining, book The Drouhin Oregon Experience with Bryan. Trust me, you'll leave with a deeper appreciation for Oregon wine, a few new favorite bottles, and probably some sore cheeks from smiling so much. Can't wait to come back and hopefully get Bryan again. This man deserves a raise and his own comedy special! Highly recommend! 🍷
When we arrived for our reserved 1880 collection wine tasting, we were shown to an outside table in the blazing sun. We requested the umbrella to be opened (as all the others around us were) and were told that it had to stay closed because it was going to be windy later. We were offered complimentary crackers and hazelnuts which we accepted. The view is SPECTACULAR and the wine is excellent, however, the sample size was not enough to swallow a dry cracker. We had 6 samples of Oregon vs France wines-they were all delicious. The final cost averaged to $10 per sample and it was not even a mouthful. I LOVED the atmosphere and the wine but I would NOT recommend the tasting due to sample size.
Reservations are recommended. This is a beautiful winery. The staff is very knowledgeable about the wine. They are accommodating if someone is alcohol free. I felt very calm in such a tranquil place.

Just wanted to share a quick review on Stoller Family Estate. We spent a week touring numerous wineries but there had to be a stand out and Stoller was it. The venue was beautiful and the vibe was relaxed and easy going. From the moment we walked in for a tasting we felt their emphasis on customer service. Sandy led us from wine to wine, explaining the characteristics of each one and taking time for our many questions. Her knowledge of the Stoller family and their history was truly impressive. The wines we sampled were excellent, and the service and overall vibe of the winery made it a truly special experience.
My wife, Michele, scheduled a behind-the-scenes tour of this fabulous vineyard estate. She did great because the tour did not disappoint. We actually met the wine maker who provided two separate tastes directly from the cask. This was above and beyond excellent service and totally unexpected. The food was fabulous! The wine was exceptional. This is a large vineyard that ships throughout the United States and maybe even around the world. The Stoller Family Estate was the largest estate or vineyard we visited on our trip to Oregon. We visited many smaller vineyards so that we could experience the hands-on tradition of wine-making, the people who are working the land, and the end product. However, we were well pleased with Stoller! Even though it is large operation, the quality was indeed in their wines, in their service, and the facility was immaculate. We strongly recommend a visit to Stoller‼️
From the moment we walked into Stoller Family Estate, we felt completely taken care of. The staff was so kind and attentive the entire time, and the vibe was just right — laid back, welcoming, and genuinely warm. The views were absolutely immaculate, making the whole experience feel even more special. Hannah and the rest of the outdoor staff were incredible — so friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend visiting. This place is a gem in every way!
Great experience!! Enjoyed standard and reserve flights on veranda with scenic views of the vineyards. Especially enjoyed their premium champagne and the heritage clone Pinot. Tasting room manager Steve was very gracious and made the tasting a highlight of our Pacific Northwest vacation. We are most definitely planning to return.
This is an incredible place! We came for a friend’s birthday (6 people) without a reservation and they worked SO hard to accommodate us! They got us seated in a beautiful spot, had the best wine, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They even brought us special cookies for my friends birthday. We had the best experience!
What a beautiful place! Vineyard view is just amazing. Wines are delicious and they are Pet friendly. Stoller Estate was the perfect way to finish our day in the wine country.
We stopped by Stoller Family Estate for a casual Sunday wine tasting and it was perfect. The views looked straight out of a painting, and the staff was incredibly kind, taking great care of us, kids and all. Excellent wine, beautiful scenery, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Stoller Family Estate is a beautiful destination. Their 2021 Pinot Noir House is delicious. My only wish is that the flights came with different glasses for each type of wine, which would have elevated the tasting experience

The cave tasting was a wonderful experience, thanks to our fantastic guide, Sean. He proved to be very knowledgeable about the vintages, answering all our questions with ease. He also went above and beyond by allowing the group to taste some fantastic selections from other locations.
We had a fantastic experience at Archery Summit, and a big part of that was thanks to Sean. He was warm, knowledgeable, and made the tasting feel both welcoming and memorable. The wines were exceptional, and Sean’s ability to share their story with such passion really elevated the visit. Highly recommend both the winery and his guidance if you’re looking for a top-tier Willamette Valley experience.
Love the high elevation to see all the valleys. Sample of the five wines with foods. A little bit pricey, though.
We had an excellent experience with Sean. He was very friendly and informative, and made it an enjoyable experience!
Amazing Red Wines! Did a tasting and the ambiance is amazing. We went to 4 different wineries and this one stood out the most to us. Underground cave vibe and friendly staff
We could not have wished for a better experience for our wedding at Archery Summit. They rarely host weddings, but they seemed like seasoned veterans! Our event coordinators, Karina and Angela were incredible. They continuously went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and stress free throughout the whole process. Beautiful winery, pristine wine and an incredible staff. Thank you so much!
We were able to walk in for a tasting on the patio yesterday. Emma led us through a wonderful tasting that she personalized to our tastes. The staff are knowledgeable and the scenery is beautiful. The wines are expensive but high quality. One of our very favorite tasting experiences in Oregon.
Such a great experience. This was my first time wine tasting and I’m glad I did it here. Every wine I tasted was phenomenal. Their 30th anniversary Pinot Noir was my absolute favorite and I think the best wine I’ve had. I plan on getting a bottle soon!

Would absolutely recommend this wine tasting as it was our favorite experience out of 4 different places in the Willamette Valley. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the seating is so intimate overlooking the valley of vineyards with lots of shade. The staff was incredible and when we said we only had an hour to split a tasting before our next reservation they were attentive and it didn’t feel rushed and they were so knowledgeable. The wine was exquisite and I wish we would’ve cancelled our reservation at domaine serene and stayed for another glass or two.
Perfect winery to visit! The views are incredible and the property is gorgeous. I recommend this for a group of 2-4 people. The outside seating was limited but that’s what adds to the unique experience. Their wines are delicious too. The reds are great and the whites are surprisingly good too.
White Rose Winery is one of the most beautiful wineries I’ve ever seen. I did a proposal there as a Portland photographer, and the experience felt truly magical. The drive takes you through tiny country roads with peaceful, scenic views—it’s like finding a hidden gem in Oregon. The winery is beautifully cared for, with every corner thoughtfully designed. There’s a grand, beautiful tree by the winery, and when you sit beneath it, you see the valley, the vineyards, and Mount Hood rising in the distance. It feels as though you’ve stepped into a French film. Upon the hill where soft winds sigh, Beneath the tree that brushes sky, The valley spreads, the vineyards glow, Mount Hood stands guard in quiet snow. In such a place, one’s heart takes flight, A dream, a film, a soul’s delight. This is a perfect place for photos—proposals, engagements, and weddings. As an Oregon photographer and Portland engagement photographer, I highly recommend it. If you’re searching for White Rose Winery proposal photos, Oregon winery engagement spots, or a Portland wedding photographer, this is a dream location. Tarasyasny fotografii – unforgettable moments in beautiful Oregon.
Great wine and great service! We enjoyed a flight with Dago (great information and best conversation!) and loved every minute of it. Will be back for sure. Beautiful estate! Really enjoyed our time here!
My bestie and I had a girls wine day and our wine tour provider KefVan brought us here and we loved it so much, I brought my mom and dad back the next day! The location, the service and wine were all 5 star. The guys were so fun and made it so special for my family. My dad isn't a wine drinker and thoroughly enjoyed the affogato...we all did!!! 2 special days here.
Had a wonderful experience. Our son and daughter-in-law took us there. Brett and Drago did a great job and then got a tour of the cellar. I would highly recommend the experience. The site and scenery is beautiful.
Wow this winery was the highlight of our Wilmmette Valley trip. The views looked like Tuscany! The Pinot was delicious, and the atmosphere made the higher prices worth it. Highly recommend.
The views were breathtaking and the wine was delicious but best part was how welcomed we felt by the staff, especially Dagoberto. He was so knowledgeable and friendly which made our experience 10 times better.

Definitely worth a stop when in wine country. So much more than wine... olive oils, lavender, cutie gift shop, nursery. BUT if you are going to enjoy the wine, grab a couple of Adirondack chairs, sit back and relax. Such a beautiful view.
Absolutely, beautiful place and fun stop on a wine tasting trip! There’s more to do than just taste the wine, though. We really enjoyed walking around the beautiful gardens, nursery shop, and cute shop with olive oil, tasting, etc. on a nice day. Several lovely patios for tasting the wine or olive oil. You can also bring a picnic lunch.
More than an infatuation you can fall-in-love with the expansive grounds and pastoral beauty at Red Ridge Farms. The intertwined event spaces and places are a wonderful place to just soak up serenity. The nursery offers a large range and collection of native and adapted plants with everything to create a groomed and elegant garden with a naturally wild vibe. The extensive collection of exclusive pottery, statuary, fountains and tools offers everything an aspiring or master gardener needs to create a living sanctuary. The woodland elements with the bordered fields of roses and lavender flanked by acres of vineyards that blanket the surrounding hills is truly enchanting. Patches, bushes, trees and plots with baskets of mixed plants for indoor and out is a feast for the soul. The collections of flora will give any gardener pause to enjoy the variety of the opportunities to take home something they can grow and enjoy. While certainly there are seasonal elements to a well tended Northwest garden 🪴 🪏 I’d visit anytime of the year and I can’t wait to go back again.
I’ll preface by saying the service we received at the tasting room was amazing. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly! However the next day when we visited the shop, the customer service there was not quite as nice. The staff came off as a bit snooty and impatient. We asked if they had the menu from the tasting room as we were trying to remember which one of the two Pinot noirs we had tried. One of the staff said “well those are the wines” mildly gesturing to the shelf where there were probably 4 different Pinots. I then asked for a list of prices because I remembered how much a couple of the bottles we were interested in were, so I thought maybe I could match the price to the name from memory. They said there was one but it was missing. A younger staff member then named a price of a random bottle that wasn’t even a Pinot Noir in a tone that I would describe as condescending. We purchased a bottle and the woman who checked us out was kind and asked about our visit to the area. But overall the air was snobbish and unwelcoming as soon as we started asking for price info. My husband and I had just checked out of our accommodations and had been outdoors all morning so we weren’t exactly dressed to the nines but we weren’t dressed like hobos either. We both felt as if we were treated like we weren’t wealthy enough to be shopping there. Which is a shame because we left our tasting so impressed and with the intention of becoming club members. The second visit made us second guess that decision.
Brianna was a DELIGHT! She was so knowledgeable, allowed our experience to be leisurely - never making us feel rushed, and the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. Highly recommend making a reservation as the seating we had had an unobstructed view of the gorgeous property and was very comfortable - complete with an umbrella for shade. We did the tasting flight and loved the Heron Pinot noir so much we bought a bottle to take home. We also visited the farm store and sampled their incredible fused olive oils and flavored salts - taking home garlic oil, lemon oil, espresso salt and citrus and fennel salt. Honestly there were so many good ones it was hard to choose just a few.
We spent a lovely morning through early afternoon at Durrant Farm starting with a 2 hour tour of the property. Thank you Paul for sharing the history to current day operations- amazing story of your parents vision and courage. Love the wines and olive oils to top it off. Highly recommend to anyone who loves wines and high quality olive oils.
In the hear of wine country of Oregon, this farm just doesn't have wine but their own pressed olive oil. 99% are a hit!
This was a very nice shop in many ways, and is the best place to buy Durant olive oil, but the perfume is so intense from the candles and other paraphernalia that I can't stand to be in the shop more than a minute or two.

First time visiting and despite the colder than usual weather in June, Matt provided a great wine tasting experience on their patio. The “Gonzalez” Chardonnay was extraordinary. We we impressed with all the tastings and will definitely return.
My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and went to five wineries in the area. There is a lot of good wine in the area but our best experience was at Winter’s Hill. Matt met us with a sparkling Pinot Gris. Oregon does their sparking wines well. Winter’s Hill had great Pinot Noir and wonderful white wines too. We joined the wine club and are excited for our wine shipments. The customer service is outstanding. Visit - you will not be disappointed.
Wonderful winery in a beautiful location. Staff are really friendly and helpful and provide a great explanation of each wine produced. Bring your own snacks and nibbles when visiting since they do not have a food menu.
This is an amazing small intimate special winery. Our service was outstanding. The wines were so fun to try and we enjoyed the relaxed nature of the tasting. We’ll be back!
We had a great tasting experience with Rachel Lynn on 9/30! She was really knowledgeable about the wines and the region. She offered us a lot of great recommendations in the area. We loved the wine as well especially the Vintages Sparkling and Gonzalez Pinot Noir. The outdoor tasting area was cozy with heaters and a beautiful view.
Our experience was fantastic. The tasting experience was very good as many of our questions were answered and we had fun. The wine is very good also. We sat outside on a beautiful day and ever saw hawks fly by. The winemaker also stopped by to chat. Great sustainable goals. Check out their wine pouch concept.
We visited this winery about a month ago and it was a nice fall day, with the sun shining brightly! We had a great time and ended up buying a few bottles! One was an extra special Pinot for our daughter and son in law for Thanksgiving. Well, my husband (not knowingly) drank the gift! I called down there to ask where I could find it in town. Sadly, no where in town. My SIL was coming into town, that night and when I spoke to Rachel, she informed me that she would be off work by 3 and could run it by my house! WOW! How nice and completely unexpected! I was taken back by her willingness to go the extra mile for something like this! Thank you, Rachel! You outdid yourself, in helping us out in a situation! Blessings!~ Wendy
This is a gem of a winery and on top of the great customer service you get great wine. The wine is on par with some of the best Pinots Noir that is around. The entire group will make you feel like family. The wine is more reasonably priced compared to others in the area.

We had our wedding at Vista Hills and HIGHLY recommend it!! The vineyard was an absolutely stunning backdrop for our ceremony and reception. Polly and Katie, wedding coordinators at Vista, were more than just day-of coordinators. They helped us throughout the entire planning process, answering questions, and following through to make sure that everything went smoothly. Our guests haven't stopped talking about how beautiful our wedding was. Everything was beautiful, professional, and the wedding went off without a hitch. Can't stop looking at the photos from our wedding as they are absolutely stunning. Thank you Vista Hills!
I absolutely loved the treehouse. The views are gorgeous and the staff here takes good care of you and does a great job sharing the history of Vista Hills with you. Wines we tasted were unique as well. The ambiance is so perfect - we felt so relaxed and the space is clean and simple. Would absolutely go again!!
My mother and I visited the tree house last evening, June 9. We arrived at 4:00, thinking an hour would be plenty of time to taste the 4 wine flight and experience the facility. I've been looking for a winery/wine club to join, for the wines and the tasting experience for our out of town guests. We were very underwhelmed by the service- we were ignored and had to literally stand in front of the workers at the bar to get noticed. Not just to get our glasses, but for every single time we wanted the next wine. We were never once served, but had to return to the bar. Because of the poor service, it took quite a while to get through the tastings. When we went to check out, the music had been changed into what I assume was an after hours selection, and I walked up to the bar with "f bombs" greeting me through the sound system- VERY unprofessional. The grounds are beautiful, and the wines were actually quite decent, but I have no interest in visiting your tasting room again, nor purchasing your wines based on the very poor and unprofessional service we received. There are many wineries, and I'm sure we can find one which provides good customer service and is more deserving of our business. - a disappointed mother and daughter
Vista Hills was one of our last stops on our week-long trip to the Valley, and it was a spur of the moment decision to stop in. Every one of the 6 people in our party echoed the same sentiments. Vista Hills was our favorite wine, and by far our favorite tasting experience due to the amazing staff!! Very glad we stopped at Vista Hills!! The wine club is great too!!
Selecting one star since zero isn’t an option ... I visited this winery from Colorado and was shocked by the terrible customer service. The staff was unapologetically rude and virtually nonexistent. Our group even cleaned up our area for them as they paid us no attention ... surprising, given we had a large group and purchased a great deal of wine. When we complained to the general manager, he said “we won’t be extorted by the threat of a bad review”. Needless to say our feedback fell on deaf ears, so I’m assuming there hasn’t been improvement. Thus the purpose of this review - pick a better winery for a nice experience. Cheers!
Good people make the wine better, and Vista Hills has no shortage of great people. We spent some time with the GM & Winemaker Dave, and at the beautiful tasting room. Staff were excellent, professional, and friendly, and the wines themselves were among the best I've tasted in Oregon. Must visit, must reserve at least an hour for a lazy tasting experience. Must walk away with a bottle of Pinot Gris that could sell for twice the asking price.
As wine goes, Vista Hills is one of our favorites. As a place to visit and tasting rooms go, Vista Hills sets a high bar for wineries in the area. The building is gorgeous and the rooms are inviting. However, one sunny summer days it can get very crowded and the parking lot can get very full.
Discovered this little gem just up the road from Domaine Serene. Had a lovely picnic outside on their patio, enjoyed fantastic wine, and a spectacular view. If you're in the Dundee Hills, don't miss Vista Hills.

Then I’ve got good news. It exists for you to discover on a pastoral scenic drive up a country road through the Dundee Hills. Nested up on a well-placed overlook is the Durant Vineyards Tasting room. When I was there it was quite busy in the weekend and yet it had plenty of parking and ample seating. No waiting or wondering when I’d be served. On my visit I found that Durant is one of the most iconic wine tasting spots in the region. Durant Vineyards is now on the top of my list for visiting friends and family as a perfect place to show-off the local wine tasting experience. As a local Durant is a sure-to-please location to enjoy the bounty of our vines and seasons. What did I love the most? The breath taking views are spectacularly framed by the patio design and landscaping. The architecture marries easy-going casual elegance and a plush legacy feel with a down-to-earth vibe. This vineyard site really captures the best elements of what the Pacific Northwest is known for. The destination evokes a fresh, clean modern context but with a nod to preserving history and capturing the spirit of its roots. Are you planning a romantic event or a casual get-together? Are you celebrating a birthday or anniversary? Or do you just want an easy drive out to the country where you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views, comfortable seating and the best vintages to sip on just for showing up? The service is friendly and the grounds are impeccable. Durant looks like it’s an all-season opportunity to enjoy the fruits of good vines. The sprawling umbrella covered patio is ideal for the long days of summer into fall. The wetter winter and spring offers indoor seating in a lovely decor that includes a gift shop and a wonderful collection of horse lovers art. This setting adjoins the Red Ridge Farms nursery and gardens that feature walking trails, an olive mill and lodging that is a real treat. Durant Vineyards Tasting Room is very accessible and accommodating. Whether you opt for sparkling water, intoxicating bubbles or a brilliant wine flights they all include: a delightful atmosphere, a casual mood, tasty nibbles and natures beauty coupled with a welcoming hospitality. At Durant up in the Dundee Hills I found a place I’d like to visit more often. But even-if you only come once it’s a place not to be missed. Whatever direction you are coming from it’s worth the drive.
First time visiting this winery. Very beautiful setting and friendly staff. Did a wine tasting and ordered a charcuterie and some chickpea and sweet pea hummus. Everything was delicious. Wine was a little on the lighter side for my preference but everything was outstanding. We also did an olive oil tasting which I highly recommend.
This is a great winery! Excellent views when tasting, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wines were delicious. Even did an olive oil tasting and of course I didn't leave empty handed. Definitely don't sleep on their shortbread cookies they're amazing.
Durant was such a unique and beautiful experience! The olive oils paired perfectly with the wines — such a fun and thoughtful touch. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire staff was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. You can tell they really care about what they do. A must-visit spot in wine country!
We have visited Durant Vineyards over the years and this is our favorite winery. The combination of wines, olive oil, vinegars and lavender is spectacular. Service has always been personable, never rushed, family and dog friendly! Oh yeah, and the nursery!❤️ I highly recommend taking the drive to Durant.
From wine tasting to amazing views and a shop that offers locally made olive oils and merchandise, there is much to experience at Durant Vineyards. Durant Vineyards is a very relaxing and fun place to visit.
We recently brought a group to Durant Vineyards Tasting Room for a wine tasting, and we were so impressed! The team there was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. We especially loved how the setting felt so nice and inviting, but also genuinely unpretentious. Even with the rain, their pavilion was absolutely perfect, and we really appreciated having the heaters to keep us all comfortable. The food was also very good. We were so grateful for the wonderful service we received, and of course, the wine was delicious. It was such an enjoyable experience, and we highly recommend them!
Visited on a busy Saturday and felt more like an inconvenience than a club member. No one was overtly rude but no one really cared to help the three of us either. Long waits, slow service, forgotten order, no plates as promised. This was a very disappointing experience for my first club pickup. I feel like the real value in Durrant is going to the little shop and sampling the olive oil. If you want to do a wine tasting, I recommend making a reservation or risk being a second class citizen.

This was one of our top two cellars while visiting the Willamette region. Incredibly well made wines! Absolutely delightful from service to education about their wines and helpfulness when asking questions. So happy we purchased our favorites and already received shipment!
Maybe not as fancy as some wineries near by but don't be fooled. This is a beautiful spot with incredible views and the wine to pair perfectly. My favorite tasting of the day was here and I appreciate the great service. Cheers.
Our family visited today De Ponte Cellars. 04.07.24 Amazing views and lovely Pinot Noir! We didn't have any appointments, and they were able to accommodate the 7 of us. The highlight of our visit was 2021, 2015, and 2018 (Estate) Dundee Hill Pinot Noir. Pet-friendly and friendly staff. These fantastic bottles are traveling to Puerto Rico and Utah.
Aaron was an excellent tasting guide! We popped in towards the end of the day and he had the Bob Marley going and chill vibes. Wines are small production and basically club only - excellent across the board. Nice family run winery and meaningful stories for all of their bottlings.
We love this wine and love the people who make the wine. The location is gorgeous and the wine is even better. Aaron and team always take care of us when we travel into town. By far our favorite winery in Oregon.
Great wine tasting. Server was excellent. Great views. Worth the stop.
Depoint Vineyard is a quaint vineyard with a lovely atmosphere that we enjoyed. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid-back vibe, with a friendly and welcoming staff. The picturesque surroundings and charming architecture of the vineyard are really beautiful Overall, Depoint Vineyard may not have the best wines, it makes up for it with a pleasant atmosphere that makes for an enjoyable visit.
Beautiful winery with truly fantastic wines. The 2017 estate wine was a fan favorite in our group, but they really all make the visit well worth it.

Such a cute historical park. There's a playground, gazebo and benches. Right now (12/23) they have an ornament for 1 of the walkways and a picture frame, perfect for your own holiday pictures. (Special thanks to everyone that's involved in the decorations. It was fun to see and get pics of my kids at.)
This little park has everything you need for a great family picnic in the beautiful surroundings of Oregon State. Playground for kids, public bathrooms, picnic covered patio, and tables available. Even a little history for the kids.
Beautiful park with great small town community vibes. Lots of parking along the street. Juanita's across the street is tasty - grab some food and enjoy it in the sun. I wish Newberg had a park like this.
Nice, cute little park. Not too busy and it's in a pretty good location, and it's easy to find just driving down the main road thru Dayton.
Perfect park for my 2 year old and 3 year old. Playground then lots of other things to explore - fort, cannon, fountain, and plenty of trees for hide and seek. Bonus: bathrooms!
You sort of need to be a history buff to appreciate the old Fort Yamhill block house. It's a nicely restored bit of Oregon history.
A beautiful park for such a small town
Was a really clean well maintained park

Schedule an appointment and take the tour! Jeff was our tour guide who walked us thru the process of quality oil pressing. This unique opportunity to be educated about the process, the history, passion behind the quality. The love for Miss Penny has created a wonderful opportunity for us. They even offer overnight stays. After learning about the types of trees, we even purchased a pair to grow at home. Salts, seasonings, candles, vinegar, oils, plants, olive wood spoons and boards are available in the gift shop. There are Wine Club options that include pantry as well. We look forward to going back to this hidden treasure.
Can’t speak of the wine, but the balsamic vinegar and oils were great. It was a self serve tasting and nice. I prefer a guided tasting to get a better showcase of the products, but that does t take away from the quality served here.
I love this place! It's an awesome venue to admire scenery and replenish a supply of the finest tasting olive oil(s) that I've ever had. Great assortment of gift packages for friends and relatives, too. Now that we live about 150 miles away, we have to ponder whether to make a special trip from Lane County to restock in person.
Delicious tastings on tye olive oils and vinegars in the farm house. Lovely trails too. Learn a bit about bee keeping too if you like.
I’ve never been a huge fan of dipping my bread in olive oil and balsamic vinegar until I tasted and got hooked on Durant Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive oil and their Apero Balsamic Vinegar during the pandemic when my husband received a sample pack in a gift basket from work. Their dipping oil is soooo good that I purposely make focaccia just for the excuse to use it. When I ran out of it I’m sure I could have found it locally in Portland or ordered some, but choose to make it a mid-week day trip with my neighbor Kate down to their lovely Red Ridge Farm to get it at their gift shop. What a beautiful location, especially on an nice crisp fall day. We enjoyed perusing the gift shop and garden shop. Along with picking up a bottle each of oil and balsamic vinegar I found a sweet garden monk that was exactly what I was look to add to my zen garden. There’s plenty of tables and chairs if you would like to buy a few nibbles and have lunch (and I’m sure they wouldn’t mind it you brought your own picnic). Visit the lavender gardens, olive groves and beautiful grounds and finish up at the tasting room. Did I mention they make wine as well as olive oil!!
My wife and I had never been to an Olive Mill and the Durant proved to be a wonderful surprise during our Vineyard touring October Saturday. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting was complimentary and included a little package of bread pieces. We purchased a White Peach balsamic and the Basil olive oil. Without the free tasting we wouldn’t have had any idea what we would like, so that was a winner. There is a wonderful gift shop and a nursery which is beautifully laid out including a brick walkway. There is a big tasting room at the next door vineyard too.
Best fresh olive oil around. They have free tasting where you can try the oils and vinegars before purchasing. Great gift shop with all kinds of unique items including spices, lotions, popcorn, etc. The greenhouse offers plants and flowers for sale. Grounds are beautiful.
I went for the “olive oil tasting” described on the website and it wasn’t at all guided, just sample cups and the fusti to pour yourself a sample. The oil was delicious, and I like that the description had their lab results, but the oils are a bit more expensive than comparable olive farms. The entire time I was there, none of the 4 staff in store left their conversation with one another to interact with any customers.

One of Yamhill County Oregon's best wineries! Delicious Easter Brunch, outstanding service and staff. Great views of Mt. Hood from this location!
Absolutely Beautiful. A great drive just around the estate. Wonderful people and of course a wine for everyone.
I attended a wedding for my cousin there this weekend and the venue was beautiful! The tasting room staff was amazing and very knowledgeable about their wines. We all had a fabulous time. If you are looking for a memorable place for an unforgettable event, this is the place. thank you all for assisting with such a beautiful event!
Great wine, music and food truck. Love the Sunday music series.
Don't know about the tasting side, but the paint session was great. Claudia was very helpful in making my baby look her best. And the honey riesling wine that we had was delicious.

Over the holidays we had an opportunity to stop in to taste the current releases at Remy Wines in Dayton, Oregon. We are Amici Members, so we already love the wines, Remy, and their sensibility and approach for wine making. On that sunny afternoon, when the clouds opened up allowing it to shine through, we made to short drive from McMinnville to Dayton. It was quiet because of the holiday, but we were not the only ones there. There were 3 other small groups all enjoying the wines and the Remy vibe that is present in the country home that is the taste room on the estate. Jorge Q. S. Greeting and welcomed us! Thank you, Jorge!! They shared all the latest news; the recent press, awards, and recognition the wines and winery has been receiving, which is always fun!! We tasted through the Black Heart Sparkling, the ‘23 Three Wives Pinot Gris, the newest in the line up, the ‘22 Unmet Desire Pinot noir, the ‘21 Estate Lagrein, and the ‘21 Remy Gold Star, all knockouts! Fabulous 🥂🍷🍷🍷🍷 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I cannot recommend Remy Wines enough! Go visit! Order only line! Request it from your favorite wine shop! Or order it when you see it on the wine list!! You can’t go wrong and the wine pairs beautifully with food, and also easy to enjoy when you’re in the mood 🌈💖
This is my absolute favorite winery. The wine is delicious, the tasting room and grounds are so beautiful, the staff are all so lovely and knowledgeable, and we feel so comfortable and safe as well at this queer owned winery. They throw really great events too!
Remy Wines is a gem in the Willamette Valley — cozy, rustic, and full of personality. The tasting room feels like settling into a welcoming farmhouse, surrounded by friends and great conversation. Our host was wonderful and encouraged us to take our time enjoying each pour. We especially loved the 2023 Dolcetto from Jubilee Vineyards — rich, balanced, and full of depth. The labels are beautiful, too — a perfect reflection of the artistry in the glass. Owner and winemaker Remy Drabkin, who also serves as the Mayor of McMinnville, has built something truly special here. A proud Oregonian and one of the region’s few queer winemakers, she’s known for her innovative approach to Italian varietals like Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, and Dolcetto. Her story and wines both embody creativity, inclusivity, and a deep love of community. If you’re exploring Willamette Valley, don’t miss this tasting room — it’s a heartfelt, memorable stop that perfectly captures the spirit of Oregon wine country.
Remy Wines is outstanding. I love that she makes mostly Italian wines, a nice change from other wineries in the area. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly and the wines are all stellar, so much so that we joined the wine club. The location is lovely and inviting. I would highly recommend a visit!
We had such a wonderful time doing a tasting here with friends. It's a really sweet spot. Everyone is really friendly. I loved the bubbles, Pinot Gris and Nebbiolo. We'll be back!
Very impressed! Small and personal tasting room. Uber-small vineyard and winery w ~2500 case production. Very knowledgeable host Linda spends time describing the wines and backstories. Eclectic selection of delicious and beautifully crafted Italian varietals provides a respite if your palette is Pinot-fatigued.
THE BEST Italian style wines in Oregon! Ralph was an amazing host with his stories and knowledge of the wines and the Local area. This will be our first stop next time we come back to the Willamette valley!
Decent wines in a bucolic ( but not breathtaking) surrounding but cheap tastings Remy’s offered a nice selection of wines— a sparkling chardonay, a rose, and three reds but the frugality of the winery was distasteful: 1 The antipasti was just a few nuts and olives ( see attached) 2 The wine portions were among the smallest we encountered in the valley 3 They did not change wine glasses in between servings 4 No wifi For $25- $40 ( for Pinot) a tasting There are more gracious wineries in the region

This place is a true gem. It was the perfect stop during a long stressful day. Lots of cute things to browse, clean restroom, but best of all the food! All 4 of us got a kids ice cream cone. They were only $1 each. I couldn't believe it. I got a coffee too and my MIL purchased a cute antique and a fun little pouch. We loved Pam and McKenzie at the ice cream counter so much. Their kindness really helped brighten my day. Pam helped my 2 year old finish her ice cream. It was adorable. Thank you so much Dayton Mercantile! You are a treasure!
This is a beautiful little shop full of adorable, useful, unique and fairly priced merchandise. It’s a “dream shop” for finding the perfect gift for someone or for spoiling yourself with something special. They are always getting in new items, so be sure to stop by frequently. The owners are very thoughtful, helpful and accommodating and have made this little shop a core business in Dayton. They share a courtyard with an excellent restaurant and a tasting room so you can plan to spend a couple hours on your visit!
What a inviting little shop with unique collections and a wonderful outdoor courtyard!
