No hiking needed to see this beautiful fall!!!!I didn’t want to post all my pictures because you really have to experience how beautiful this place is in person. We were lucky enough to enjoy an event they had going on—wow, just awesome! The gift shop offers some great handmade items at reasonable prices, though the staff could be a bit more welcoming. We also grabbed a delicious funnel cake on our way out. Can’t wait to come back soon!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cumberland Falls SRP. Nice historic lodge with all modern amenities. Very clean room but the queen room was little small. Comfortable bed. Very quiet easy sleeping room. The lunch buffet was good, the dinner buffet was great, restaurant staff most excellent hospitality. The only option continental breakfast was sad for those that enjoy a hearty breakfast. Great location near the gorgeous waterfall. Easy parking.
The park is gorgeous! Love that there are paved trails so a wheelchair, stroller, walker, etc are able to go down the path to see the falls and river. The park was VERY busy. We arrived on a Friday around noon. The main parking lot was full so we crossed the bridge to a pull-off parking lot. There was a trail head that took us to the opposite side of the river! Perfect! We got to see the falls, took a strenuous hike to another waterfall, and there were few people. This trail is not paved and is a level 8 out of 10 for difficulty. LOVED it!
One of the best places to go when I want to just get away. The falls are amazing. There's easy access for those who can walk flat surfaces. There are trails and stairs for those who want to put in a little more effort. There's a small beach area at the for of the falls where pet owners take their dogs to play in the water. It's amazing!!
The cabin, which is a duplex is just the bare minimum. It worked for us. We couldve used some heat or an extra blanket. Had a good night's sleep and coffee in the morning. Thats all we needed. You have to drive into Corbin to get food if the restaurant isn't open, which was our case. We got take out and ate at the falls. There were hardly any people there. It was lovely.
Service was great and people were very friendly. Amenities and rooms were very typical for a state run resort. Water pressure was great and so was the temperature if you like really hot showers. Probably the best location out there for access to the falls.
We booked a room at the lodge for an overnight stay that would be a memorable treat for the whole family as a stop on a road trip. Let me tell you, the hospitality and natural beauty of the stay was well worth it! I think my family will return to visit the beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails at this state park. To note: there is very limited cell reception and you must rely on the WiFi, which is easy to connect to and reliable.
Waterfall and adjoining trails are excellent! Campground is small, mostly for tent camping. Our trailer is only 17 feet, so we fit, but ones much bigger would not. Got to see the moon bow and I can honestly say the views from the trail during the day were more impressive.

Great way to see the Big South Fork. We have been spending the last week hiking in the area and were excited to try river kayaking here. The Blue Heron to Yamakraw route was stunningly beautiful, very light paddling and small rapids. Would be a great first river trip for someone interested in trying it out. The young woman who drove us out and gave us directions (this is an unguided trip) was early, very professional and gave us some hiking trip pointers in the area. If you live anywhere around here, or are visiting, this is a must try!!!!
We spent 4 days 3 nights at location with 30ft RV travel trailer. Checkin - was quick to get checked in. Site- easy to access and fairly level. Biggest issues with site are the sewer hookup with a large piece of lumber between sewer hose on RV and drain. This created issue where sewer pipe from RV didn't drain thoroughly. The site also had very low water pressure. Tried 2 different pressure regulator and had adjusted spigot to max flow. Didn't go above 20 and taking a shower wasn't very good. Plenty of space and fire pit was good. Technology - No OTA stations for amplified TV. Lots of radio stations choices. No cell coverage. WiFi coverage was decent but unsecured. Campgrounds - There is zipline for adults and a separate one for younger kids. There is a playground. There are covered wagons for camping inside as well as lots of cabin choices. The snack shack was not open as this was pre-memorial day. Lots of gifts ideas in the shop. Area - Plenty of options within driving distance for evening entertainment and dining. Corbin has the original KFC restaurant. There is a state park not far away. They have a moonbow a few times a year. Just be aware on campground as well as near water areas, the propensity to see copperhead snakes increases so be aware with any pets or children.
Extremely Disappointed — Poorly Managed from Start to Finish What was supposed to be a relaxing kayak trip turned into a frustrating and chaotic experience. We arrived at 2:45 PM for a 3:00 PM reservation, completed our paperwork, and then waited nearly an hour before finally leaving. That delay set the tone for the rest of the day. Shortly into our drive, one of the kayaks fell off the trailer and landed in the middle of the road due to being poorly secured. The tie-down straps were dry-rotted and failed completely. If we had been following any closer — or if another vehicle had been coming — it could have resulted in a serious accident. Unfortunately, the driver couldn’t see the trailer from inside the bus and unknowingly left us and the kayak behind. Thankfully, a kind passerby helped us lift and haul it so we could continue by rearranging his truck bed. After all that, we arrived at what we thought was our launch point — only to be told we had to drive another 15–20 minutes to a different put-in location. The driver was unable to tie the kayak back down for further transport because of the broken straps. By the time we finally got on the river, it was already late in the afternoon. We pulled off the river at 6 PM, having spent barely an hour actually kayaking. The majority of our time and energy went into delays, miscommunication, and logistical failures. We paid a significant amount of money for this trip, and I am extremely disappointed in the lack of organization and safety. We will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others to consider their options before booking here.
If you're looking for solitude on the water, this is your trip. We didn’t see a single soul the entire time—just trees, sky, and the occasional heron judging us from a distance. No party crowds, no rope swings, and no folks camped out on the banks. Peaceful? Absolutely. Rowdy river fun? Not this stretch. We floated the first 5 miles like royalty on a lazy throne... then realized we still had 3 to go and the clock was not on our side. If you want to make it a full float without having to turn into paddle-powered superheroes for the last hour, get on the river before 1 PM. Trust me, your arms will thank you later. This trip is very different from anything near the Cincinnati area. No spots to jump in, no river swings, and honestly, not a ton of places to even stop. Thanks to recent rains, we only found one shady spot that felt worth getting in the water. That said, the scenery is top-tier. Peaceful, lush, and beautiful—the kind of place that resets your brain a little. Pro tips: These plastic canoes are narrower than what we’re used to up north, so bring a smaller cooler. And maybe give your partner a warning before you shift your weight or lean too far. Balance is a team sport out there. Overall: A chill and scenic paddle, best for people who enjoy the quiet and don't mind a bit of effort to get out of it what you put in. Bring the right mindset (and maybe a backup paddle), and it’s a great day on the water.
Did the raft trip this morning up to the falls. Quick, fun trip. Noah our guide was awesome and he did all the paddling so we just got to relax and take pics. We are used to doing a lot kayaking but it was nice to just sit back and enjoy the ride for once. Definitely recommend the trip and Noah!
We went SUP boarding for the first time. Had a great time on the water and our guide Stacy was patient with our group that also included kids. I was slower and had a hard time getting back ashore but she came and guided me safely back. I didn’t know that it included a small hike to Eagle Falls and that was a treat.
It's rare that a private campground outshines the state park campground , but this is the case here. The staff is a real team and very lovely and knowledgeable. They really helped us find the right paddles for us. Thanks guys.
Stayed at a backwoods tent site. It was perfect. Their showers and bathrooms are very clean and nice. Which made my daughter and wife especially happy, as we have seen some terrible bathrooms at campgrounds. This place is super convenient for commuting a short distance at night to see the “moonbow” at Cumberland Falls, which is about a 10 minute drive. Definitely be back.

Very Cool! The food was great! It's interesting to visit this place and then the next, his second wife's place. This is also a museum, so it makes it much more touristy. I love how they have shared the timeline and changes. Interesting how he began with gas stations, then food, hotels..
Great visiting this location. Very cool. Happened to be in the area and was surprised to see this. Nice piece of history. And just had to have some classic chicken. Mmm. Worth the stop.
We stopped on our way back home from Tennessee in Corbin, Kentucky. It was clean and looked to be renovated. We ordered our food at 11 am and the fried chicken was fresh and delicious. I ordered the extra crispy and I believe I like it better than what I get locally. Biscuit was also fresh and soft.
This was one of the best parts of our trip to Kentucky! It was the most delicious Kentucky Fried chicken I’ve ever had, and it was also very interesting. The building was exactly like the original, and it looked really authentic. The museum was well-presented and super interesting. The exhibits covered the Colonel’s history and the brand’s history. It was easy to tour and a fun experience. The Colonel would have been proud of the food. It was excellent! My wife had the chicken and waffles, but they’re not available here in Colorado where we live. They were amazing! The waffles were perfect and just as tasty as a doughnut, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. I had the original chicken tenders, which are my favorite, and they were also great. If you’re in the area this weekend, you have to stop by!!
This was a fun, inexpensive stop in Corbin. The museum has free admission. There is also a KFC inside if you want to eat where it all started. Very informative. If you wanted to, you could spend a lot of time reading all the info. Fun and interesting.
Harland Sanders Café and Museum is a charming stop for KFC fans and history lovers. It’s the original location where Colonel Sanders started his famous recipe, featuring nostalgic displays and memorabilia. You can enjoy a meal while learning about the roots of this iconic brand—a unique mix of history and comfort food.
What a terrific free museum. Had a wonderful time touring the museum. We learned so much about Harlan Sanders and his journey in life, he was an extraordinary person. Never realized he opened so many other failed businesses. He had this KFC restaurant and had hotels and gas stations as well. Very interesting history to read about. I would not eat there though unfortunately the service is slower than molasses.
Harlan Sanders was truely an amazing man, and a pioneer if fast food, the KFC served here is superior to anywhere else, especially the gravy. Pull off the freeway and check out the origins of fast food, well worth a stop just for the chicken, but the free museum is superb

Be sure to arrange a little early to not have any hassle with parking. Staff seemed great and security was nice. We enjoyed our time there.
Nice little arena, well-suited to smaller events/acts, But beware any sold out shows, like the one we went to in Nov '24. Then the cozy arena is a detriment, for a couple of reasons. First is that the last two miles took about 45 mins: traffic crawled from just before the i-75 exit (in both directions), then proceeding to either of the three police-controlled entrances off 25w to get to the two-lanes snaking up the hill to the arena and its parking lot. (See screenshot I've offered.) Second, while metal detectors also slowed entry, it wasn't terrible (the steady flow of arrivals being spread out by the traffic issues). The bigger problem is for ladies to consider: don't bring more than a handbag. Even a small purse could get rejected--I think about 6x8" max, but watch for signs with diagrams as you approach the entrance. We were among many who'd missed them, thus doing for my wife the walk of shame back to our car--against the flow of new arrivals, who I tried to warn. Last, while there are decent prices for concessions (see photo), beware that there's only the one stand, so consider going DURING the performance to avoid long lines. Or look for other vendors with temp setups at spots on the same mezaninne level. Finally a tip for folks with floor seats: while there are bathrooms on that mezzanine level, there are ALSO ones on the floor level, near the steps leading out of the arena.
This was my second time at this event center, and it had a really great atmosphere. The sound system and the stage setup were both excellent. I had a lot of fun, and I hope everyone got their AI photos. See you in two years!
FOREIGNER concert was lit! I sat in 108 section, not too many people there. Music was loud but I had earbuds and that made it better. Great show overall, arena staff were welcoming and helpful. It was nice to see security guys vibing to the music along with the audience. Clean seats, plenty of restrooms, two drinks per person.
James Clark's review is spot on. Your parking is horrible! I've been to tons of places in this Country, for dozens and dozens of different types of events, easily hundreds of times, and this place has logistically the worst set up I've ever experienced, by far. It was painfully slow to get in and parked. I've been to the Indy 500, several times in my life, and could still get in and out of there easier, and it was up until this event, the most difficult to navigate for parking. This place, it's just one road in, and out here. What geniuses decided to put an arena here, at the top of a hill? Getting out was worse, and people were aimed in multiple directions trying to figure a way out. Getting in was fun, too. Especially when you have employees clueless as to how you can quickly get people through your paranoid, I mean metal detectors. Concessions stands, or lack thereof, was a joke. One, you had one! High school football games have more than one! Regarding the sound, there are several things that factor into any place that a band plays at. Even where you're seated, or standing, will make a difference. For these shows, with Loverboy and Reo Speedwagon it's a 50/50 blame. You guys are NOT equipped to handle the bigger acts with stronger sound. You seriously need to bring in an expert to get sound banners set up for deflecting and directing sound. Loverboy's sound was washed out, and they also had major timing issues, as well. Even my wife noticed it. So their sound guy owns a big part of it, too. Reo Speedwagon was better, as far as the timing issues go. Sound management was less than impressive whenever Dave Amato's guitar was brought up for a solo. Anyway, that's a rabbit trail I could go down for a long time. Actually, this did start a little late. About 20 minutes to be exact. I'm not sure if it had to do with the poor folks who got stuck in traffic, or it was just more of that fine arena management (sarcasm). We'll never come back here again. Our drive was from just east of Birmingham. I'll just go to a place where there's multiple parking options, and you don't have a "Keystone Cops" version of parking attendants, and door screener. People work hard for their money, and deserve much better than what you have to offer.
Great venue and not a long drive from knoxville easy access and lots of free parking
The venue itself is nice enough and clean. HOWEVER, getting to it is a nightmare! The traffic was so bad. From the off ramp of the interstate it took us an hour just to go a few yards! And two hours to get to the venue. The city of Corbin and that venue need to get together and fix this terrible traffic issue. Our event was delayed by two hours thankfully or we would have missed most of it. Oh, and by the way, we were one of the lucky ones. Others had it worse than us.
Small venue. All the seats are great. Clean. Friendly staff. Parking was pretty easy. Which lane to use coming up the hill was confusing. Not enough merchandise or concession tables. Caused long lines. Definitely missed having a big screen to see faces.

We've been four times in less than two weeks - absolutely amazing! Each time we finished a room, we immediately wanted more! Tonight specifically we went at our reserved time for Dragons Den. When we got out to the parking lot, we started talking about doing another! My husband and I already had been through Cabin in the Woods, but thought our friends would love the experience - and after the excitement of the den/convicted from the last time, we was thrilled at the idea to go again and at least be in the room/kinda hang back for our friends to take front and center! The puzzles are extremely well put together, the atmosphere in the rooms are amazing, and the staff are absolutely wonderful (very polite and friendly!). I honestly would love for them to open other buildings and/or create more rooms - we'd be doing them too! It was an amazing experience, all four times we've went, and I definitely recommend it to everyone! Awesome! (A photo from one of the trips, hehe)
This venue licensed a script from my company to aid in the development of their Poe game. Not only did they violate two terms of the contract, but have been radio silent through multiple good-faith attempts to have the issues corrected. If their lack of communication skills is anything to go on, there are probably multiple business issues stemming from the top. Enjoy the game, but know that it is being hosted by an unethical owner.
We had such a great experience here! Even though we arrived a little later than planned, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They still let us play the full game and even gave us extra time so we could finish solving all the clues. The room was super fun and creative, and the staff made us feel welcome from start to finish. Highly recommend!
It was a great experience once the employee showed up( there WAS a lot of construction going on, so that maybe why she was late). The owner was out of town on vacation ( and so I do not fault her at all). We did the jail and it was fun, I'd recommend giving them a try, it was fun. We did it as part of our bachelorette party. I am giving 4 stars just because we had to wait for the employee to show up..
Had a great time. The room was detailed and creative. The staff was also very nice. We had such a great time. Thank you so much for the experience.
We were visiting in Kentucky and were looking for something fun to do for the day and this is definitely it! We had a great time and the puzzles were very well thought out. Overall we had a great time and will be looking to come back and do another room!
Well we went the first time today to The Great Escape Room. We had so much fun, the rooms was setup great. You have to figure out the clues to move onto the next puzzle. They have three different room to choose from. The Escape games are a fun, challenging, and exciting way to spend time with friends, family, and co-workers. Your group of up to eight people are locked in a room! We did the Cabin In The Woods and we all loved it! We will be going back soon to do a different Escape room. I highly recommend you and the family or friends go do this, you will be glad you did!! #TheGreatEscape #EscapeRoom
This was fantastic!!!! Did the bunker room and the convicted room!!! Talk about fun and very challenging!!! Made I through bunker but unfortunately didn't make it through the other.. 🤷🏻‍♀ we had a blast anyway!!!

Corbin Cinema Social isn’t just a movie theater — it’s the best thing to hit Corbin since sweet tea in a mason jar. Let’s be real: it’s the kind of place where you can sink into a big ol’ recliner, munch on popcorn the size of a toddler, and pretend the world doesn’t exist for two glorious hours. You get that full “Hollywood experience” but without having to deal with traffic, $30 parking, or L.A. attitude. Instead, you get friendly folks, clean theaters, and nacho cheese that tastes like pure happiness. They’ve got couches in some theaters. Couches. I don’t know who came up with that, but give ‘em a medal. It’s like watching a blockbuster from your living room—if your living room had surround sound, stadium seating, and didn’t require you to pause the movie every time the dog barks. And the food? Don’t even get me started. This ain’t your grandma’s concession stand. It’s got sliders, pizza, shakes—stuff so good you forget you came to watch a movie in the first place. Half the time, I just go for the snacks and the nap. Honestly, if aliens landed and asked me to show them the greatest human invention, I’d take them straight to Corbin Cinema Social. Comfort, entertainment, and fries all in one place? Greatest. Thing. Ever.
Almost 50 dollars just for drinks and small popcorn for four people not counting the price of the movie for four people. Only one butter dispenser working and the island was disgusting no one cleaning up that area. Huge line at restroom cause every urinal was out of order except for one. For as much as you are charging you should be doing a lot better than that what you are.
Stopped for lunch on our way to Tennessee. Thought we would try something different and we were pleasantly surprised. Very clean place and friendly staff. The food was very good and quick. We spent time playing some games also. Might have spent an hour for our lunch and fun on our trip.
Decent prices on movies that arcata area is kind of expensive. Everything looks clean though the atmosphere is great we really want to try the virtual reality headset area. Definitely will be coming back just wish there was cheaper options for the arcade. Chicken wings were okay definitely going to try the pizza next time. I've had the popcorn twice once was really good second time was too salty
So much fun! We stayed most the time in the arcade!
You can watch a movie with a cheeseburger and popcorn. Prices were reasonable. Spent 9 bucks on 2 sodas and a little bag of chips yesterday at the gas station. Still surprises me how much everything is. Then go to the movies and it's nice to see you get what you pay for
This place is super nice. I highly recommend all new bar nice, nice arcade is a awesome location also . Cheap prices .
Oh man you have to love the updates. Fun for the whole family, one thing id love to see is some pool tables for old geezers like me. But they have it all, bowling, arcade games, movies and a bar/kitchen. We had lots of fun and the food was great. So don’t listen to any negative reviews the time limit is good so everyone gets a turn to enjoy it. Super fun highly recommended.

Neat place to check out. Stopped in while getting the oil changed on our vehicle across the road at the Ford dealer. Found a few neat things. Owner was nice! Had about anything you could think of there.
Stopped in at 11:45 on a Saturday... Google says they are open until 5pm. Definately closed. Dissapointing since it's exactly the kind of stuff we look for! We are on vacation, so it's not like we can just come back.
Walked into a smoked stained atmosphere. Had to leave immediately.
I experienced the find of my life at this antique store today. A HG amber Hero Cross over Masons Patent. I was in disbelief thinking it had to be a reproduction with a price of $12 on the label but it wasn’t. A very Scarce, hard to acquire piece of glass. Thanks!
We absolutely love it there great people
One of the nicest antique stores I have ever seen. Found great deal on 2 quilts. Many beautiful items. Staff very sweet and welcoming. This was my first visit here, but definitely not my last
This place is amazing! They have EVERYTHING! Bobbi and Billie are the sweetest ladies. They concrete statues and planters and fountains outside and a bit of everything else inside. A few hours of browsing and nostalgia make this a MUST visit when in Corbin!!
I visit this shop every now and then. It is set up well and easy to shop with nice items. They also have nice concrete garden sculptures outside. The only drawback is that they smoke in the shop. The vintage clothing, hats and purses are by the register. This is a large section but they smell of smoke and it's not worth shopping those items. I do collect vintage clothing items but take a pass in this shop.

Such an eclectic, fun shop! If you're going to a tea party, need accessories for a vintage outfit, flapper party, or in need of fun home decor, this is definitely the place to go!
So cool in there. Lots to see and quite affordable given a lot is vintage or antique.
Very unique and 1 of a kind items. A very nice and fun store! We loved it!
This was a very cute place, it was tidy and well set up. The gentleman that greeted us at the back door was very friendly, as were the man and woman that we eventually saw when we made our way to the front room. We didn't purchase anything, I only collect one style of pottery. But it was a fun browse.
Super cute little place we found on our visit to Corbin. Got a warm welcome from staff, and found several little neat things! Plenty of neat antiques and vintage findings from plenty of decades, definitely worth the visit!
I have some questions about antiques /vintage items. We have alot of stuff. Looking to sale alot of it. I was just wondering if you would be interested looking at some pictures I took of the items. Please let me know what you are looking for we might have it.
We absolutely loved this place. I look forward to coming back soon.

Very cool place to go to have fun with your family and friends. They offer the best bands around and you don't worry about drunks or other's ruining your fun,Safe fun clean place to dance and enjoy your night.
Use to be a great place for family. Now is a low end bar. To bad because it was always packed, way back when. Now the place is still a big bar, live band, big dance floor. Bar wasn't stocked and what they did have was the cheapest as you could stock. No crowd! Saturday night about 8 people there. We were a party of 5! Also the security guards there are bullies. Not there to stop trouble but in fact cause trouble. Bad business all the way around. Sad because this location and building could be a great place for meeting and having fun.
Great place to enjoy local bands. Wonderful atmosphere for all ages.
Always love this place biggest dance floor in the area, great people and live music!!
Met alot of good friends there great place to go and have fun
When you walk through the doors, one thing becomes clear right away: this isn’t just another music venue. This place is hallowed ground. This is the exact spot where legend was born. It was right here that country music found an audience beyond its own back porch, and countless careers took off as deals were signed on napkins and paper scraps backstage.
