History Museums
The Harland Sanders Cafe and Museum in Corbin is a must-visit for anyone interested in the origins of KFC. This historic cafe, opened by Colonel Harland Sanders in the 1940s, showcases the kitchen where he developed the famous 11 herbs and spices recipe for KFC chicken. The museum also features his office and a collection of KFC memorabilia. Additionally, visitors can explore vintage restaurant items at this National Register of Historic Places-listed museum.
Very Cool! The food was great! It's interesting to visit this place and then the next, his second wife's place. This is also a museum, so it makes it much more touristy. I love how they have shared the timeline and changes. Interesting how he began with gas stations, then food, hotels..
Vivian R — Google review
Great visiting this location. Very cool. Happened to be in the area and was surprised to see this. Nice piece of history. And just had to have some classic chicken. Mmm. Worth the stop.
David P — Google review
We stopped on our way back home from Tennessee in Corbin, Kentucky. It was clean and looked to be renovated. We ordered our food at 11 am and the fried chicken was fresh and delicious. I ordered the extra crispy and I believe I like it better than what I get locally. Biscuit was also fresh and soft.
Bridget L — Google review
This was one of the best parts of our trip to Kentucky! It was the most delicious Kentucky Fried chicken I’ve ever had, and it was also very interesting. The building was exactly like the original, and it looked really authentic. The museum was well-presented and super interesting. The exhibits covered the Colonel’s history and the brand’s history. It was easy to tour and a fun experience. The Colonel would have been proud of the food. It was excellent! My wife had the chicken and waffles, but they’re not available here in Colorado where we live. They were amazing! The waffles were perfect and just as tasty as a doughnut, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. I had the original chicken tenders, which are my favorite, and they were also great. If you’re in the area this weekend, you have to stop by!!
Eddie H — Google review
This was a fun, inexpensive stop in Corbin. The museum has free admission. There is also a KFC inside if you want to eat where it all started. Very informative. If you wanted to, you could spend a lot of time reading all the info. Fun and interesting.
Adrianna M — Google review
Harland Sanders Café and Museum is a charming stop for KFC fans and history lovers. It’s the original location where Colonel Sanders started his famous recipe, featuring nostalgic displays and memorabilia. You can enjoy a meal while learning about the roots of this iconic brand—a unique mix of history and comfort food.
Kaushik M — Google review
What a terrific free museum. Had a wonderful time touring the museum. We learned so much about Harlan Sanders and his journey in life, he was an extraordinary person. Never realized he opened so many other failed businesses. He had this KFC restaurant and had hotels and gas stations as well. Very interesting history to read about. I would not eat there though unfortunately the service is slower than molasses.
James M — Google review
Harlan Sanders was truely an amazing man, and a pioneer if fast food, the KFC served here is superior to anywhere else, especially the gravy. Pull off the freeway and check out the origins of fast food, well worth a stop just for the chicken, but the free museum is superb

Arenas & Stadiums
The Corbin Arena is a versatile and spacious venue that hosts a variety of events, including live concerts, sports competitions, trade shows, and theatrical performances. With a seating capacity of over 6,500 and excellent sound and lighting systems, it offers an intimate viewing experience for attendees. Conveniently located with ample parking, the arena provides great entertainment experiences for visitors. Whether you're into monster truck shows or rodeos, the arena ensures a well-organized and entertaining time for all attendees.
Be sure to arrange a little early to not have any hassle with parking. Staff seemed great and security was nice. We enjoyed our time there.
Darryl B — Google review
Nice little arena, well-suited to smaller events/acts, But beware any sold out shows, like the one we went to in Nov '24. Then the cozy arena is a detriment, for a couple of reasons. First is that the last two miles took about 45 mins: traffic crawled from just before the i-75 exit (in both directions), then proceeding to either of the three police-controlled entrances off 25w to get to the two-lanes snaking up the hill to the arena and its parking lot. (See screenshot I've offered.) Second, while metal detectors also slowed entry, it wasn't terrible (the steady flow of arrivals being spread out by the traffic issues). The bigger problem is for ladies to consider: don't bring more than a handbag. Even a small purse could get rejected--I think about 6x8" max, but watch for signs with diagrams as you approach the entrance. We were among many who'd missed them, thus doing for my wife the walk of shame back to our car--against the flow of new arrivals, who I tried to warn. Last, while there are decent prices for concessions (see photo), beware that there's only the one stand, so consider going DURING the performance to avoid long lines. Or look for other vendors with temp setups at spots on the same mezaninne level. Finally a tip for folks with floor seats: while there are bathrooms on that mezzanine level, there are ALSO ones on the floor level, near the steps leading out of the arena.
Charlie A — Google review
This was my second time at this event center, and it had a really great atmosphere. The sound system and the stage setup were both excellent. I had a lot of fun, and I hope everyone got their AI photos. See you in two years!
Bryan C — Google review
FOREIGNER concert was lit! I sat in 108 section, not too many people there. Music was loud but I had earbuds and that made it better. Great show overall, arena staff were welcoming and helpful. It was nice to see security guys vibing to the music along with the audience. Clean seats, plenty of restrooms, two drinks per person.
JitkaKac — Google review
James Clark's review is spot on. Your parking is horrible! I've been to tons of places in this Country, for dozens and dozens of different types of events, easily hundreds of times, and this place has logistically the worst set up I've ever experienced, by far. It was painfully slow to get in and parked. I've been to the Indy 500, several times in my life, and could still get in and out of there easier, and it was up until this event, the most difficult to navigate for parking. This place, it's just one road in, and out here. What geniuses decided to put an arena here, at the top of a hill? Getting out was worse, and people were aimed in multiple directions trying to figure a way out. Getting in was fun, too. Especially when you have employees clueless as to how you can quickly get people through your paranoid, I mean metal detectors. Concessions stands, or lack thereof, was a joke. One, you had one! High school football games have more than one! Regarding the sound, there are several things that factor into any place that a band plays at. Even where you're seated, or standing, will make a difference. For these shows, with Loverboy and Reo Speedwagon it's a 50/50 blame. You guys are NOT equipped to handle the bigger acts with stronger sound. You seriously need to bring in an expert to get sound banners set up for deflecting and directing sound. Loverboy's sound was washed out, and they also had major timing issues, as well. Even my wife noticed it. So their sound guy owns a big part of it, too. Reo Speedwagon was better, as far as the timing issues go. Sound management was less than impressive whenever Dave Amato's guitar was brought up for a solo. Anyway, that's a rabbit trail I could go down for a long time. Actually, this did start a little late. About 20 minutes to be exact. I'm not sure if it had to do with the poor folks who got stuck in traffic, or it was just more of that fine arena management (sarcasm). We'll never come back here again. Our drive was from just east of Birmingham. I'll just go to a place where there's multiple parking options, and you don't have a "Keystone Cops" version of parking attendants, and door screener. People work hard for their money, and deserve much better than what you have to offer.
Justa D — Google review
Great venue and not a long drive from knoxville easy access and lots of free parking
Beverly H — Google review
The venue itself is nice enough and clean. HOWEVER, getting to it is a nightmare! The traffic was so bad. From the off ramp of the interstate it took us an hour just to go a few yards! And two hours to get to the venue. The city of Corbin and that venue need to get together and fix this terrible traffic issue. Our event was delayed by two hours thankfully or we would have missed most of it. Oh, and by the way, we were one of the lucky ones. Others had it worse than us.
Sherry M — Google review
Small venue. All the seats are great. Clean. Friendly staff. Parking was pretty easy. Which lane to use coming up the hill was confusing. Not enough merchandise or concession tables. Caused long lines. Definitely missed having a big screen to see faces.

Fun & Games
Located in Corbin, the Tri-County Cineplex offers a modern and comfortable movie-watching experience. With state-of-the-art facilities including stadium seating, high-quality sound systems, and large screens, this multiplex cinema is perfect for enjoying first-run or classic films. The theater's 18-inch riser stadium seating with high back rocker seats ensures ample legroom and comfort. Despite ongoing construction for the new Corbin Entertainment Center nearby, the cineplex continues to operate smoothly.
Corbin Cinema Social isn’t just a movie theater — it’s the best thing to hit Corbin since sweet tea in a mason jar. Let’s be real: it’s the kind of place where you can sink into a big ol’ recliner, munch on popcorn the size of a toddler, and pretend the world doesn’t exist for two glorious hours. You get that full “Hollywood experience” but without having to deal with traffic, $30 parking, or L.A. attitude. Instead, you get friendly folks, clean theaters, and nacho cheese that tastes like pure happiness. They’ve got couches in some theaters. Couches. I don’t know who came up with that, but give ‘em a medal. It’s like watching a blockbuster from your living room—if your living room had surround sound, stadium seating, and didn’t require you to pause the movie every time the dog barks. And the food? Don’t even get me started. This ain’t your grandma’s concession stand. It’s got sliders, pizza, shakes—stuff so good you forget you came to watch a movie in the first place. Half the time, I just go for the snacks and the nap. Honestly, if aliens landed and asked me to show them the greatest human invention, I’d take them straight to Corbin Cinema Social. Comfort, entertainment, and fries all in one place? Greatest. Thing. Ever.
Rebel R — Google review
Almost 50 dollars just for drinks and small popcorn for four people not counting the price of the movie for four people. Only one butter dispenser working and the island was disgusting no one cleaning up that area. Huge line at restroom cause every urinal was out of order except for one. For as much as you are charging you should be doing a lot better than that what you are.
Chris R — Google review
Stopped for lunch on our way to Tennessee. Thought we would try something different and we were pleasantly surprised. Very clean place and friendly staff. The food was very good and quick. We spent time playing some games also. Might have spent an hour for our lunch and fun on our trip.

Decent prices on movies that arcata area is kind of expensive. Everything looks clean though the atmosphere is great we really want to try the virtual reality headset area. Definitely will be coming back just wish there was cheaper options for the arcade. Chicken wings were okay definitely going to try the pizza next time. I've had the popcorn twice once was really good second time was too salty
James G — Google review
So much fun! We stayed most the time in the arcade!
Tammy P — Google review
You can watch a movie with a cheeseburger and popcorn. Prices were reasonable. Spent 9 bucks on 2 sodas and a little bag of chips yesterday at the gas station. Still surprises me how much everything is. Then go to the movies and it's nice to see you get what you pay for
Matt M — Google review
This place is super nice. I highly recommend all new bar nice, nice arcade is a awesome location also . Cheap prices .
Larry G — Google review
Oh man you have to love the updates. Fun for the whole family, one thing id love to see is some pool tables for old geezers like me. But they have it all, bowling, arcade games, movies and a bar/kitchen. We had lots of fun and the food was great. So don’t listen to any negative reviews the time limit is good so everyone gets a turn to enjoy it. Super fun highly recommended.

Room Escape Games
I recently visited The Great Escape Room, a thrilling and enjoyable escape room center. The well-designed rooms offer an exciting challenge where you must solve clever clues to progress through the puzzles. With three different room options to choose from, this is a fantastic activity for groups of up to eight people, whether they're friends, family, or co-workers. I personally tried the Cabin In The Woods room and it was loved by everyone in my group.
We've been four times in less than two weeks - absolutely amazing! Each time we finished a room, we immediately wanted more! Tonight specifically we went at our reserved time for Dragons Den. When we got out to the parking lot, we started talking about doing another! My husband and I already had been through Cabin in the Woods, but thought our friends would love the experience - and after the excitement of the den/convicted from the last time, we was thrilled at the idea to go again and at least be in the room/kinda hang back for our friends to take front and center! The puzzles are extremely well put together, the atmosphere in the rooms are amazing, and the staff are absolutely wonderful (very polite and friendly!). I honestly would love for them to open other buildings and/or create more rooms - we'd be doing them too! It was an amazing experience, all four times we've went, and I definitely recommend it to everyone! Awesome! (A photo from one of the trips, hehe)

This venue licensed a script from my company to aid in the development of their Poe game. Not only did they violate two terms of the contract, but have been radio silent through multiple good-faith attempts to have the issues corrected. If their lack of communication skills is anything to go on, there are probably multiple business issues stemming from the top. Enjoy the game, but know that it is being hosted by an unethical owner.
Austin R — Google review
We had such a great experience here! Even though we arrived a little later than planned, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. They still let us play the full game and even gave us extra time so we could finish solving all the clues. The room was super fun and creative, and the staff made us feel welcome from start to finish. Highly recommend!
Ana F — Google review
It was a great experience once the employee showed up( there WAS a lot of construction going on, so that maybe why she was late). The owner was out of town on vacation ( and so I do not fault her at all). We did the jail and it was fun, I'd recommend giving them a try, it was fun. We did it as part of our bachelorette party. I am giving 4 stars just because we had to wait for the employee to show up..
Joy M — Google review
Had a great time. The room was detailed and creative. The staff was also very nice. We had such a great time. Thank you so much for the experience.
Shandra S — Google review
We were visiting in Kentucky and were looking for something fun to do for the day and this is definitely it! We had a great time and the puzzles were very well thought out. Overall we had a great time and will be looking to come back and do another room!

Well we went the first time today to The Great Escape Room. We had so much fun, the rooms was setup great. You have to figure out the clues to move onto the next puzzle. They have three different room to choose from. The Escape games are a fun, challenging, and exciting way to spend time with friends, family, and co-workers. Your group of up to eight people are locked in a room! We did the Cabin In The Woods and we all loved it! We will be going back soon to do a different Escape room. I highly recommend you and the family or friends go do this, you will be glad you did!! #TheGreatEscape #EscapeRoom

Tomahawks in Corbin offers an exhilarating and unique experience with axe throwing, guided by professionals in a safe environment. The venue follows World Axe Throwing Leagues (WATL) rules, attracting both beginners and experienced throwers. Additionally, they provide a glow-in-the-dark party room for added excitement. Visitors can also enjoy pool, bags, snacks, and drinks at the venue.
This was a great find. We all had fun and our pit boss did a great job. He helped guide us and taught us some throwing techniques.. Plus we got the glow in the dark party room which was unique. He asked if we wanted to do a competition round which we did. It made it more fun than just throwing to throw. The kids really liked that. This place has pool, bags, snack, and drinks. Make sure to save some time and sign waivers ahead of time.

Terrible place do not recommend they hire actual thieves. During the Nibroc I bought a ride on the mechanical bull which they have it listed as 5$ but the guy running it charged me 25$ And was 100% trying to pass it off as a 5$ charge because I paid with card even if there was a debit card fee which is usually about $1 The ride should’ve only cost 6$ maybe 7$ but nope A $25 fee I will also attach a photo of Tomahawk Facebook Post saying the ride is 5$ and my bank transaction
Super-Twinkie M — Google review
When checking, my card charges after a friend told me to; I saw a complete over charge on my account. Much more then the written pricing; I expect more common decency or a verbal warning when making a purchase when the actual price exceeds the written value of the ride.
Hunt K — Google review
We rented Tomahawks for our dad’s retirement party. It turned out better than we could have hoped! The managers and staff went above and beyond to help us decorate and personalize the space. Everyone had a blast playing games and chatting around the bar area. It couldn’t have been better. Definitely book them for your next event! Thanks again guys!

Beautiful bridge and gazebo. Nice paved walk with a book for kids to read as they walk the river. Vending machines to feed the ducks.
Autumn S — Google review
Calm relaxing little park. 25¢ gets a small handful of duck feed from the little vending machine. It was full on our visit. There are benches and shaded areas, a gazebo, and a pleasant paved walking trail along the river. The bridge has an old charm about it. Sadly many of the walking trail sign posts, which appeared to once have held pages of a story to follow were empty, and the garden shrubs and beds were full of weeds. A little sprucing up, and replanting of the garden beds, would make this a 5 star spot.
Rebecca M — Google review
A really relaxing place to visit. So calming to watch the ducks playing in the river. They also have a really nice gazebo to sit and take time to enjoy the day!

The atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great place for socializing while working on your masterpiece. I can’t rave enough about this little shop! I started going to her classes about a year ago not trusting myself to paint anything, but even my very first finished piece came out beautiful. The owner shares her technique and helps you create true art. It’s become one of my favorite places to spend my time.

We enjoyed our playdate with friends at Campbell's Ceramics! They were so patient with the little ones and we love every bit of our first ceramic paiting experience. What’s more, Campbell’s did an amazing job on curing the teapot my daughter painted. I can’t believe how beautiful it turned out :)) Every girl needs a teapot for their party! Make sure you bring your kiddos here to pick out & paint their own ceramics. 100% recommended!

I stopped in one day out of curiosity and now it is one of my favorite places on earth to be! Painting is so relaxing and such an awesome break from a crazy day! It doesnt hurt, of course, that Chelsea and Brent are freaking fantastic! Come check out this shop! I have done a lot of cool pieces, i added pics of a couple of the more recent and one im working on now! Pretty good hu?? I know! Im probably the best painter in the WORLD! 😉

Absolutely adore this gem that’s in the center of Corbin! The owner is a joy to be around and put her heart into her work. Her shop has so many unique and nice pieces to choose from. She makes everyone that comes threw the door feel like they are at home. Best part is sometimes you can catch ebbie (her dog) there and she is a such a lovable baby and very well mannered. Honestly can’t ask for a better experience. Can’t wait to visit again. ❤️

I LOVE Campbell’s Ceramics. The owner is so sweet and funny. She is beyond helpful. She keeps so many options in stock for seasonal items to paint. I have made many high quality ceramics for my home. The owner will help you paint your piece as well to make sure it turns out flawless. It’s a relaxing and fun atmosphere for any age! I will definitely be returning. I’m currently making a ceramic tree that lights up for my Christmas decor.

Laurel Bridge Recreation Area in Corbin is a nature lover's paradise, offering a variety of well-marked trails suitable for hikers of all levels. Whether you're seeking a challenging hike or a leisurely stroll, this natural haven provides the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of Kentucky's wilderness. Situated near the city center, it offers easy access to the lake and features amenities such as picnic tables, grills, volleyball courts, and a baseball diamond.
Most of this review is about the area and trail, not the boat ramp. Look at the very bottom for boat ramp info. This is a nice little area that provides back water access and is very close to Corbin and I75. Among the recreation area is a hiking trail that has decent incline/decline, a look out point that views the nearby bridge and 3 sisters rock. It also has a rocky small "beach"/lake side swimming spot for easy pedestrian water access. There are different paths to take to avoid some of the stairs. There is a small path that connects the two looped parking areas. There appears to be a volleyball court/net (useable but needs repair) and a baseball back stop and makeshift diamond. There is a nice shelter, with multiple tables, trash cans and a grill. There are (seasonal) bathrooms. For reference 11/8/24 they were closed for "winter". The shelter is available for reservation via the London ranger district contacts that have their phone number posted at the shelter. This was overall a great short, diverse elevation trail. Leaf covered paved/asphalt that is mostly stable. The stairs can be slick but have metal edges for grip. The staircase rails are wood, slightly loose in some spots but overall great for what it is. Ideal for a quick hike or access to the lake. The trail is not great for mobility issues but the parking lot, shelter and path between the parking lots could be great for those with mobility issues. To the far left is access for 2 vehicles to access a paved boat ramp with dock. It is kayak friendly. There is also a path, or step staircase that links the boat ramp to the boat parking area. The boat parking does require Daniel Boone National Forest boat ramp parking tags.

Rotary Park Playground in Corbin is a fantastic family-friendly destination, offering a variety of amenities for both kids and adults. Nestled in a beautifully landscaped area, the park features playgrounds, walking trails, picnic areas, basketball courts, and even a dog park. It's an ideal spot for a fun-filled day outdoors with the family. The well-maintained playground provides plenty of space for kids to play and explore different equipment while shaded seating offers parents a comfortable place to relax.
Cute playground to bring the kiddos. The few times I came over here it was just me and my daughter. Different options to play, plenty of space to run and walk. Public restroom and a lot of parking spaces. There’re covered picnic tables with a grill if you want to barbecue. The playground and surrounding is very well maintained!
Aline — Google review
Nice playground with a big and small climbers for kids of all ages. Park features many varieties of slides and swings, musical toys, rubberized turf and covered places to sit. Bathrooms are pretty well maintained, but sometimes they’re not open. Water fountains don’t work. Playground is pretty clean.
Familyof4 — Google review
Used to be great but now there is a lot of damage and most things are broken. Was well kept for several years but hasn't been tended to for at least 2 years now.
Kristy P — Google review
Great playground. All the playground equipment seems well maintained, a small shelter with a few picnic tables adjacent to the playground. The only down side I have found was the restrooms. I have seen 4 people mowing and trimming grass, and the bathroom were disgusting commodes were filled with paper and the floors had "stuff" smeared on them. Bathrooms on our last visit were locked. Little League Baseball season is at hand the playground has attracted some older kids that have occupied several of the benches, and some of the playground equipment.
Tim B — Google review
The park could use some attention. There were cracks in the pavement and holes everywhere which made it very unsafe. Under the swings they had some sort of Matt covering up holes
Linda B — Google review
My kids loved the variety of equipment. The bathrooms are disgusting and no toilet paper.

Trash everywhere in the picnic table area. And lots of dog poop.

Video arcade
The Pinball Museum of Corbin is a haven for pinball and arcade game enthusiasts, featuring an impressive collection of over 56 machines. In addition to classic games, visitors can enjoy activities like corn hole lanes, axe throwing, pool, and simulated golf. Even if you're not playing, you can explore the museum for free and learn about the history and artistry behind each machine.
My husband and I drove from Lexington, KY to check this place out on a Friday afternoon and we had a blast! We practically had the place to ourselves. We paid for the all you can play price without the in and out privileges. The place was very clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The restroom was very clean. Almost all machines there worked, and was way better than going to anywhere similar in Lexington due to crowds, machine selection, and having to pay $1/play anywhere in LEX. Well worth the 1 hr. 10 min. Drive.
Laraine — Google review
There are two sections: hourly pinball and then a coin operated section. Lots of pinball machines! The coin operated section has a variety of other games that reward with either tickets or items. I was able to get a nice little prize with only $10. And of course, we also had a lot of fun while playing. We went during the day on Friday and practically had the place to ourselves. The front desk person was very nice and helpful.
MaLisa S — Google review
Is this one of best places on earth? Not for me to say but this place is pretty phenomenal. 20$ to play all the machines all day! Need I say more? No but I will anyway. Gail was awesome, the machines had history and other facts posted above them, parking was easy and… they had an oversized machine I had never seen before. see pics.
Scott L — Google review
One of our favorite places to go. Half of the building is pinball machines and the other half is nostalgic style arcade and the game machines don't cost a fortune. Still give out tickets like old arcades. Large prize options and staff are always available and extremely nice.
Kristy P — Google review
10000/10 recommend if you’re in the area! So many machines and they have accommodations for those who are too short to see above the table top!
Susan F — Google review
Cool little place. Most of the classic pinball machines you would want. They also have vintage bottle sodas and a little arcade.
Samuel H — Google review
This place is a beautiful example of what a pinball place should be. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The owner frequents the place. All the pinball machines are set to fee play and entry is one flat fee ($18). The machines are clean and well taken care of. There were a few that were down but the majority were all running and playable. We drove over 2 hours to come here and it was so worth it. I wish we lived closer because I'd buy a membership. We will be back.
Dustin O — Google review
Great atmosphere and fun for hours. They have a mix of modern and classic pinball machines plus arcade games. Gale was amazing, very hospitable checking in with us, and she also routinely walked around to reset the machines to make sure that they were ready for the next patron. Definitely worth a few hour drive!

Gerry's Roller Rink is a popular spot in Corbin, KY, offering an exciting experience for kids and families. It provides a fun and safe environment for children to enjoy skating during the weekends. The rink is highly regarded as a positive outlet for kids in the area, keeping them engaged and out of trouble. Visitors love the atmosphere at Gerry's Roller Rink and appreciate the friendly staff.
Awesome place! And awesome people working there! My child along with a lot of other children look forward to the weekends because they get to skate here. This is a great place for kids & it's actually something for the kids to do here in Corbin! I think it keeps a lot of kids out of trouble & that is just awesome!
Tabitha A — Google review
the staff that run this place is very very disrespectful. they complain about every little thing that looks "wrong" to them. i do not recommend this place. the place is also very run down, the floors are terrible, the walls are peeling paint bad, theres cobwebs on the disco lights. i would give this place a zero if i could.
Ashley L — Google review
Very good place to hang out and sometimes it’s crowded that’s all
Kinzley S — Google review
The one star is for the friendly staff running the concessions. The floor needs some serious help (warn out). And those that watch the safety of the rink have an old and grouchy approach. They get on to kids for everything... all night long. I haven't given a bad review before, but this place gave me no choice.
Stephen H — Google review
I’ve been going here every now and then, the staff can be a tad disrespectful but they make up for it. If you win the games you get a ticket for a free drink of choice which is really nice especially for those who don’t have the money to buy things. It’s family friendly and yes the floors may need a tad touch up here and there but overall it’s a decent place to go.
Raven M — Google review
My experience at Gerrys was awful. The owner and some other staff spoke in very disrespectful tones. I was not in here 5 minutes without someone yelling at me. The atmosphere is very uncomfortable and I would not recommend it if you want to drop your kids off here. I waited outside for people to pick me up, I got the time wrong and realized that now one was out there, I came back inside and the owner looked at me and spoke without manners and in a very rude tone and told me that I had to stay inside, not even inside though, I had to wait in the doorway, not letting me explain it was a misunderstanding. The people working the booths were very nice though, I really aappreciate their kindness. They also have problems with the skating floor, they have tape on the floor and basically are letting your kids and others get hurt. So this was an awful experience.
Alex Y — Google review
My friends and I all went to Gerry’s and we were treated very poorly. When we went to get our skates, the sole inside was completely destroyed, so my friend goes up there to ask for a new pair, but the woman named Norma was very rude to her about it, she asked her what the problem was and then proceeded to roll her eyes at her. She did however put a new sole in it which was nice. We all skated around and then decided to get some food, but as soon as we sat down, we were told that we needed to buy something or get up, which was what we were going to do but we needed some time to think about what we wanted first. So, we get some food, and we gave them a five dollar and ten dollar bill for a one dollar water and two dollar soda but we get NO change back. They tell us that they do not give change and kept all of our money. We later buy a pizza which was very gross and of the lowest of quality, and if you get up for any reason make sure someone stays or else everything you’ve bought will be thrown out, even if it’s just for a second, they will throw out your food and drinks without hesitation. The floor itself was very uneven and was even raised up in some parts! The “caution tape” itself was just paint on an uneven floor. Also watch out for Norma if you stop skating for a minute, she will come over and tell you not to be standing by the walls that you need to get off the rink or get out, but just where are you supposed to go?! The practice area itself is only for the younger children and if you are seen skating or even sitting in it, you will be told to get up. All in all, if you don’t care about all the rude staff, not getting your change back, and the very strict rules, then this is the place for you.
Ava C — Google review
No self respecting person would spend money here to listen to the women that run the place complain about EVERYTHING. They make it very difficult for parents that actually stay and want to keep an eye on their kids to do so. There's very limited seating and even if you buy concessions and sit at a booth to eat them they go around complaining that adults are sitting in the booths and tell them they need to move and give you some made up time limit to guzzle your drink and inhale your food.

Barbecue restaurant
Restaurant
Bubby's BBQ is a restaurant in Corbin that offers pulled pork, catfish, and traditional Southern sides. This buffet-style dining spot has a cozy atmosphere and is known for its delicious barbecue dishes and comforting accompaniments like mac and cheese and corn bread. Bubby's also serves mouthwatering fried catfish that is tender, flaky, and flavorful. They also offer greens and fried green tomatoes that are reminiscent of homemade southern cooking.
We were working in the area 3 hours from home decided to give this place a try.TO SAY MY MEAL WAS HOT DELISOUS AND WONDERFUL WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT IT WAS BETTER THAN THAT. Haille our server was profesional and freindly as well as the table stayed clear and drinks stayed full. We had the buffet and all the hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. The coleslaw was homemade and you could tell it. The ribs were fall off the bone and great taste. The bana pudding is made fresh in house as well as the fried grern tomatoes neither disappinted. I have found a bee buffett when we are in the area.
His S — Google review
I should have heeded the other reviews. Don’t do what I just did and waste $40 on dried out food with limited choices and horrible service. Called to see what time they closed on a Saturday night- 8 pm. Cool. We will be there by 6:45. Plenty of time and rotation on the buffet…. EXCEPT THEY DIDNT REFILL ANYTHING AND CLOSED AT 7. If you didn’t want fried catfish you were SOL. We were SOL. Waitress was befuddled as to why we asked if they were putting out more BBQ pork or chicken fingers or chicken wings ….or any other protein but catfish. Is a shame- we were looking for a place to have monthly meetings with dinner - this isn’t it for certain. If you are going to offer a buffet then offer a buffet and quit pretending. Waste of $40 for what they offered. Keep it up and you will put yourself out of business. Maybe consider that actions like these is why your business is slow on Saturday night. Will be the last $40 you get from me. Was asked if everything was okay when I paid - I told them again- no that fish was the only protein they had and we didn’t get here at closing time- her response was. Oh. We all Know she didn’t care if everything was okay or not. Had to get my own refills because our waitress was too busy mopping floors so she could go home early I guess.
Lori C — Google review
The food was sub-par. Seated promptly, but after getting our drinks, we didn't see the waitres for a refill until we were ready for our check. Noticed our waitres texting upfront on her phone instead of checking on tables. We will not be back.
Brad O — Google review
We stopped and ate there last night. We enjoyed our meal very much. We always stop here when we get in the area and it is possible. We had the fried catfish, fries, pinto beans and dumplings. The wife had the banana pudding and I had the peach cobbler with ice cream 😋. Can’t wait to get the opportunity to come back. Hard to imagine a buffet with this good of food on it
Randall H — Google review
The name can be misleading, the buffet is more southern charm than typical BBQ. Clean dining room with friendly staff....it has a mom and pop atmosphere. I didn't expect to see all the Peyton Manning memorabilia this side of Tennessee, but it was really cool!! Overall a really good buffet at a fair price. Plan on spending $25-$35 for 2 people. Pros: Good price Friendly staff Located just off I75 Cons: Limited buffet No soft serve ice cream Small dining area
Adam — Google review
The food was warm, not hot, one of the bars was not being used. The fish was very greasy, the pork was dry, they no longer carry the hot BBQ sauce. They were almost completely empty. We ate there a while back and it was really bad and we said we would not go back. After this time we will not.
Nina P — Google review
Great buffet with bold, delicious flavors that hit the spot! While there were fewer options than we expected—and we were shocked not to see brisket at a BBQ buffet—the quality made up for the quantity. Every bite was packed with flavor, and we even managed to save room for dessert (which was totally worth it). If you're looking for a buffet that brings the taste, even if it skips a few classics, this one's still worth the plate space.
Heather M — Google review
Had no idea where we were going. We were just going down the interstate and decided we wanted BBQ. My son found this on Google. We didn't know it was a buffet. And yes they did have pulled pork and some really good ribs and BBQ chicken on the buffet. But they also had a lot of country cooking that was very good... There were dumplings and kraut and weenies and fried chicken and catfish and hominy and cabbage. And just so you know, there is ice cream for the cobbler but it's at the back of the room in a little chest freezer.

Chicken restaurant
Fast food restaurant
KFC, a popular chain renowned for its fried chicken served in large portions, offers combo meals and various sides. This particular restaurant holds significant historical value as it was not only the first KFC establishment but also constructed with great attention to detail. Customers rave about the delectable chocolate cakes, heavenly mashed potatoes, and flavorful chicken that leaves a lasting impression. Additionally, visitors praise the spotless cleanliness of the restaurant and the friendly demeanor of its staff.
Their highway road sign was notably attractive on my way through Kentucky back to Ohio. This KFC is not only a restaurant but also a museum where I was feeling that I was eating in a last-century house. I was not hungry but I had to try the chicken wing here. The store had drive thru service and food came out fast. The chicken tasted not different from that of other kfc stores, but it was definitely an amazing experience to enjoy the historical KFC tour.
Vincent L — Google review
Fantastic experience. I've noticed some negative reviews about food, but we thought the chicken was out of this world - hot, crispy, delicious, and worthy of being served at the first KFC location. The museum was interesting, too, though I thought it understated the *history* of Sanders a bit in favor of a lot of fun KFC imagery (random product packages, etc.).
Ryan R — Google review
This location is the original Sanders Cafe (aka first ever KFC). Definitely recommend stopping to check out the free museum and learn more about the Colonel if you’re taking a roadtrip. The fried chicken I ordered was hot, fresh and crispy. So were the chicken tenders we tried! It’s nice to be able to freely learn about the origins of popular American brands. This one’s got midwestern roots!
Devi — Google review
I am increasingly dissatisfied with KFC’s chicken. The staff flat out lied when they told me the extra crispy chicken for the “Family Meal” I ordered was fresh out of the cooker. Some pieces had obviously not come fresh out of the cooker. They were not only NOT “extra crispy,” they were soaked in grease as if they had been sitting for a while in the bottom of a pan, soaking up all the grease from beneath the other pieces of chicken. So disgusting could not eat it. Another occasion I ordered an extra coleslaw. I confirmed with the server at the window that the extra coleslaw was in the bag. He assured me it was. It wasn’t. The manager did provide me the coleslaw on a later date. Also, they do not answer their phones when I’ve tried to call.
Kim D — Google review
I think the Colonel is rolling in his grave today. For being the "Home" of KFC, this was a very disappointing experience. To start, we stood waiting for 25 minutes for our food (after ordering). I wanted extra crispy chicken, and they didn't have any. The lady that took our order, seemed like she would have rather been having a root canal, and was very short with us. (So much for southern hospitality) When we finally sat down to eat, my corn was horrible. Tasted and looked like field corn. They were happy to replace it, so I tried the Mac and cheese, which was okay. I have eaten at KFC's in different states that were way better. No offense to the Colonel, but this was the worst KFC experience I have ever had, especially factoring in this is the original restaurant. Do yourself a favor..... drive on by....
John S — Google review
A bit busy, but to be expected as a tourist spot for a Saturday in the summer at lunch time! We ordered and had our food ready for us within 5-10 minutes, which was great considering the rush. Woman tending the register had the cutest pair of KFC bucket earrings that she made herself. Definitely worth the stop if driving through KY.
Tia — Google review
The restaurant portion was horrible. We waited 27 minutes for our order of simple two piece chicken and 5 piece tender. They said they were waiting on tenders, which is hogwash as they don’t take that long to fry. Wasn’t impressed with the work ethic of staff. As 20 people stood in the lobby waiting on their food to add insult to injury an employee talked with a customer she knew the whole time, people were looking at each and wondering why she wasn’t working as we all waited way to long. Unacceptable. The museum is a different review and was terrific.
James M — Google review
The “old” restaurant/museum was cool to see. Lots of old memorabilia in the back room. The entire store is VERY clean. The food is average kfc food. Don’t expect better food because it’s location.

Well I only went to Ross and the inventory was very slim. The store needs an Uplift, it's not SHOPPER appealing and INVITING. No customer service or employees around to ask for assistance if your looking for something specific, and furthermore the employees were dressed very casually and blended in with customers, giving no feeling of any leadership in the store . You definitely need to DRESS as retail sales associates and STAND out from your customers. GREET us when we come in so we will feel invited and maybe shop a little longer , try interacting with your customers to see if they need assistance finding anything. You'll be surprised of a return of more customers and larger sale weeks if you do.........BE AN EXAMPLE AND MAKE YOUR ROSS STORE STAND OUT.....for heavens sake your competing with JC Penny, you need to step it up . Penny's has great service and really great sales right now in a clean and festive atmosphere.

The new owners have really turned this place around. We had the best weekend! There was lots of activities for the kiddos to do, the bathrooms were nice and always clean, and the cabin we stayed in had a heater and an air conditioner. As a single mom traveling with two kids, I felt so safe and welcomed. The staff and owners were very helpful and went above and beyond for the kids and I (I may or may not have left a light on in my car all night🙃) We will definitely be back!

I recently rented 2 cabins and an RV site for a long weekend at Corbin/Laurel Lake KOA. I cannot say enough about this beautiful little campground and its amazing staff. Prior to the trip we had to modify dates several and each time I spoke to John he was friendly and helpful. The cabins were very comfortable and spotless. The RV site was spacious, level and well maintained. The campground is beautifully decorated with pumpkins and mums and was perfect. Our grandkids loved the playground and corn pit which included dump trucks snd diggers! The bathrooms were spotless with hot showers. The washers and dryers were THE BEST I’ve ever seen at a campground. They even have a dog wash! But the very best part of this campground is the staff. Each and every one is pleasant and helpful and friendly starting with John! Thank you for providing a place to have a wonderful family getaway.

Great place with awesome upgrades. Best KOA we have been to by far. The owner is really making this an awesome campground for family fun and ensuring they have great activities for the family every weekend! We did a great craft making our own succulent decor and it was amazing! We appreciate the great events they provide and the family fun! This was also our first Halloween event here and we had a blast! We won the 2nd 2025 Halloween site contest! Thank you all for a great weekend!

We stayed here for Easter and the Halloween event. The improvements from Easter to Halloween is amazing. While Easter as a lot of fun so to the events that hosted, Halloween was so much more! The bathroom is always clean. Each site has great tree coverage. Friendly staff. The addition of the gem mine for the kid was amazing. We got really nice rocks that were better than the ones we did in Pigeon Forge TN. The wife and her mom did the succulent craft and really enjoyed it. There was a hay ride, pumpkin patch where each site got a large pumpkin and site decoration contest that was awesome. There were other events all day long with tons of fun for the kids! We will back more next year!

I’ve really enjoyed my stay here, just wish it was for longer! The cabin is beautifully outfitted and such a retreat. You can tell they’ve taken a lot of thought into decorating and it’s spotless. Linens and pillows super comfy, too. Staff is so friendly. I want to come back longer when I don’t have work.

What a wonderful place to stay! Spent one night in one of the lovely cabins available. Staff were fantastic! Very friendly, welcoming and helpful! The park itself is beautiful, and a great location! Near the highway for easy travel but has a very off the grid feel to it despite that! Bathrooms and showers were excellent, shop was adorable. We especially enjoyed the dog park! My only complaint would be the gaps under the dog park gates, where little paws could possibly escape! Highly recommend this KOA!! Thanks for a fantastic stay! (JJ the kitty was also very welcoming!)

The Wrigley Taproom & Eatery in Corbin is a charming rustic spot offering American fare like burgers, farm-fresh veggies, and craft beer. The menu also includes tacos and a variety of wines and cocktails. Visitors have praised the delicious Sichuan Dumplings and the flavorful burgers. The taproom has a great atmosphere with a focus on local sourcing, making it an ideal dining destination for both locals and visitors alike.
This is my family's first time in the town and this location was recommended to us. We tried the Big ass pretzel, The tuna Tower and the key lime pie. We also had a kitty cocktail, a hefeising and a peach beer. Everything was delicious!. All the food seemed to be very high quality and we're comfortable sizes for sharing. My only small criticizing would be. It's a little confusing for someone that's not been here before as to how the seating and ordering works. And the downside to ordering at the bar is it's relatively slow. That is due to the fact that the bartenders are being very personable with every customer, which is great. But when you're not sure what's going on you don't even know if you're supposed to be standing in line it can be a little confusing. Some sort of signage would probably be helpful to people that aren't regulars. Overall great experience! Definitely recommend trying them out if you're in the area!

Exceptional quality, perfect flavor. Produce and meats are harvested from local farms. The dishes are masterfully crafted by a truly talented chef, blending flavors, colors, and textures in a perfect balance that truly delighted my pallet. The quality and ambiance are worthy of accredited recognition, this chef owned eatery is hands down top notch. I understand the menu changes with the season/harvest, and hope to be able to try other menu items and specialty drinks in the future, when we pass through Corbin again.

I had a great business lunch at The Wrigley Taproom & Eatery. The place has a charming and inviting decor, creating a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. The menu features a variety of interesting options — I chose the Salmon Tacos with a side of Brussels Sprouts, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. The staff were very kind, and service was reasonably quick. There’s also an impressive selection of craft beers to choose from. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!

We were in town to go white water rafting and NIBROC was going on we stepped in to check out the local places and we loved this place. The staff is friendly and attentive the ingredients are fresh and we tried the beer the food and a summery refreshing cocktails called Focus Kendall. The manager Kendall was a delight she helped us on the first and second visit. After visiting other places we came back because we enjoyed the conversation and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend and if we come back through we would 100% return!! Thanks Kendall

We were so excited that we were able to snag some bar seats on a busy Saturday night. It makes you feel more in tune with the entire vibe of the establishment. Every single staff member was working their tails off to provide a wonderful experience for each guest. We tried so many delicious offerings from the soft Bavarian pretzel the size of your head, to the spicy Dan Dan noodles. Each and every item was handcrafted and tasty. We will definitely be back….hungry for more!

Stopped on a whim visiting someone at the hospital. This is a way cool bar/restaurant with a chalkboard menu thay changes often, chill atmosphere and really yummy food. I had the Cajun Shrimp Boil and my partner had the skirt steak. Both were delicious. Service was quick and friendly.

First off the Espresso Martini was strong, can’t go wrong with that. We got the Americano burger it was a really good burger with home cut fries. The fries were seasoned very well. They had several beers on tap too. All in all a nice little spot to grab a drink and something to eat.

My husband and I came in after a long drive from Alabama. Our server Kendall, came over and struck up a conversation. She helped us order. I got the Buddha bowl which she said I'd love if I liked Greek food and she was right. It was filling but not heavy delicious flavors and the rice and chicken were moist and flavorful. My husband got the American burger and loved it. It was thick and juicy with all the trappings. Kendall checked on us and I told her it was our 52nd anniversary and we had come to town to pick out our gravesites Wasn't that romantic? She laughed, but then said it was something we'd all have to do one day and offered me a drink on the house to celebrate. She was so friendly and sweet and we asked her what the building used to be. She wasn:t sure but told us when they took the sheet rock off the walls they found the exposed brick with the Wrigley mural painted on it so they decided to name the restaurant Wrigleys. They had an expert come in and he dated the mural to 1914. I love a good story, so I asked if I could take her photo so I could post a review. Cool venue, great food, friendly and fast service with an interesting story and servers who are fun and engaging. Thanks Kendall for making our night. It was a long drive from Birmingham! We'll be back

From the moment you step foot into the restaurant until your order arrives at your doorstep, the entire crew ensures that every customer feels like part of their family.
One of, if not THE BEST pizza place in the tri-county area. People are always looking to eat there and it’s super customer friendly. Employees are well trained and nice. I loved my experience

I usually don’t have any problems with Snappy, but today was different. We ordered a pepperoni pizza but received a cheese pizza instead. We also requested 3 ranch dressings but got blue cheese. We wish we had checked the order before leaving. The only solution offered was to come back, which wasn’t possible at the time.

Supreme pizza tasted like a bad frozen pizza from the grocery store. Flies were all over the windows inside. Charged for a glass of water even though it was in a cup. The service was good and the server was polite

Eat there today for the first time and will go back when in the area! Food was hot and fresh tasting! We loved it!! Food was sooo good! Staff was excellent, very nice and friendly. Bathrooms sooo nice and clean. Whole place was very clean and well taken care of.

Had to wait a hour after ordering before finally getting my food, was ignored when trying to pick it up and they literally only cut 2 slices out of the entire pizza. And paid for bacon and got the smaller of sprinkles.Terrible service and work ethic. Will definitely not return, Also left 3 times and on the 3rd time I had to stand and wait for them to finish boxing it which took 10 minutes.

Ice cream shop
Sweeties Ice Cream and mini doughnuts is a popular ice cream shop that offers a limited variety of soy ice cream flavors, including chocolate and vanilla chocolate chip. However, their regular ice cream selection is extensive and enticing. The vanilla soy flavor is particularly delicious - rich, creamy, and bursting with taste. On the other hand, their donut rings are disappointingly lacking in quality. Despite this setback, the shop remains constantly busy with customers enjoying their specialty sundaes and shakes.
Oh, this place is awesome. Chocolate overload, amazing shakes, floats, ice cream, banana splits, etc. The look and feel of the place is great, too! Large portions, super reasonable prices and a great selection. Don't miss out.

Oftentimes, I reminisce my childhood, so I'll drive around Corbin, my childhood hometown to try and mentally relive some version of what that was. One of the things I remember most is my step-dad seemed to have a nac for finding hole-in-the-wall places to eat that were pretty were pretty great. His favorite was a Diner, had that small town feel. They had ice cream, several flavors to choose from. That regular ice cream cones and comment and then they had waffle cones, my favorite was always the waffle cone. I wish I had remembered the name of that place, but I was just an oblivious child living in the moment. My stepdad also had a knack for finding random ice cream parlors. Back in the 90s, which was pretty much when all of this took place, vanilla ice cream cones seem to have had a flavor you don't seem to find today. Anyway, this little place, Sweeties Ice Cream reminded me of a time way back when, when simplicity was a beautiful thing, and being outside was more more common. It reminded me of a times that people lived.
Scott B — Google review
This was my second visit to Sweeties and was another "sweet" experience. I had a waffle cone with a scoop of 'serious' ice cream. It was delicious and the customer service was great! I wish I'd gotten the employee's name so I could let the owner know that lady deserves a raise. :)

A cute little treat shop with a friendly staff and good tasty ice cream. A diverse menu and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Kernel approved 5/🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗
Bad K — Google review
Such a cute little ice cream shop! They have quite a bit of seating inside and tables outside as well. There is hard dipped ice cream, waffle cones, and they have a lot of fancy sundaes that look so fun. We all got hard dipped ice cream in waffle cones or just a dish. The ice cream was very tasty and they have a good selection of flavors. We'd definitely go back!
Brandi P — Google review
The outside indicated a business that was out of business. An overflowing trash can, with a note above to bring trash inside, well, that didn't work. In side was clean and good setting. However the overabundace of Fabuloso was near a lever that we need our mask back from covid! We all had something different. Three of our four ice creams were enjoyed, however the stale waffle comb immensely lowered the joy of one of our party. I had the cookies and cream milk shake. Well, thats what I ordered. The flavor was average at best. This title is still owned by Chick Fil A. Overall, a very ok experience.
John C — Google review
We stopped in after seeing the first KFC and Sanders park. It was a pop in snack for the road. We got a single scoop cone, a shaved ice and a dozen mini-doughnuts. The doinghnuts are what I would describe as funnel cake rings rather than actual doughnuts. The basic doughnuts are either cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar. At $5 a dozen, it feels a little over priced. The ice cream was good but not great. The shaved ice was a little more generous in portion. It came a heaped over a "flower" cup. The staff were fairly inattentive for a place where you approach the counter for service. Enough of the bad, now to the good. The outside portion of the shop was covered with picnic tables and had a cool little fire pit area. It would be a good place to sit on a cool night or a balmy summer night if you're away from the fire pits. The inside and outside have picture spots. All in all it's worth a stop for some small town feel.

Made to order doughnuts, ice cream, and fun sodas located in downtown Corbin near fun murals. You can go in and order or stay and relax, there is plenty of room. The murals are super fun and decor is thoughtful and colorful inside. If you are looking for a little something sweet, of course, go to Sweeties. 🍨

I visit this shop every now and then. It is set up well and easy to shop with nice items. They also have nice concrete garden sculptures outside. The only drawback is that they smoke in the shop. The vintage clothing, hats and purses are by the register. This is a large section but they smell of smoke and it's not worth shopping those items. I do collect vintage clothing items but take a pass in this shop.

As soon as you enter the establishment, it becomes evident that Felts' Music Place is not your typical music venue. This location holds a special significance, being regarded as sacred ground. It was precisely at this very spot where greatness in the form of country music originated. The club served as a platform for this genre to transcend its humble beginnings and reach a wider audience. Countless artists' careers were launched here, with deals being sealed on napkins and scraps of paper behind the scenes.
Very cool place to go to have fun with your family and friends. They offer the best bands around and you don't worry about drunks or other's ruining your fun,Safe fun clean place to dance and enjoy your night.
Jennifer F — Google review
Use to be a great place for family. Now is a low end bar. To bad because it was always packed, way back when. Now the place is still a big bar, live band, big dance floor. Bar wasn't stocked and what they did have was the cheapest as you could stock. No crowd! Saturday night about 8 people there. We were a party of 5! Also the security guards there are bullies. Not there to stop trouble but in fact cause trouble. Bad business all the way around. Sad because this location and building could be a great place for meeting and having fun.

When you walk through the doors, one thing becomes clear right away: this isn’t just another music venue. This place is hallowed ground. This is the exact spot where legend was born. Gas station
Speedway is a well-known gas station and convenience store chain that offers a variety of grab-and-go food options along with both hot and cold beverages, making it an ideal pit stop for travelers. One standout location is the Corbin Speedway, which not only serves as a fuel station but also hosts thrilling stock car races throughout the year. This local racetrack attracts motorsport enthusiasts seeking excitement and fast-paced action.
Speedway is always a reliable stop. The pumps work fast, the lot is well-lit and clean, and the inside is stocked with everything you need for the road—cold drinks, snacks, fresh coffee, and even hot food. The staff at this location is friendly and keeps the line moving, which is a big plus when you’re in a hurry. Prices are usually competitive too. It’s my go-to stop for fuel and a quick bite when I’m on the go. Can’t ask for much more from a gas station!
Rebel R — Google review
I stop and this place every day on my way to work, and I have to say morning crew either lazy or disgusting as hell. Each morning coffee station is either out of cups, sugar or milk. And the person think is a manager just stands outside and smokes. Mans bathroom is so disgusting and smells so bad. On my way home different story and different crew. Friendly and seem to be cleaning more. I love speedway because of their points system and where ever I travel I stop at speedway, but this one I stop because it’s my only option.
Salih G — Google review
Good place. Clean and open 24 hours. Cheapest gas around. Clean bathrooms. Only speedway around. The clerk was super friendly. Well lit. Definitely recommend when in the area or on random road trips. Five stars

I don't know how one gas station can be so terrible. Disgusting, uncleaned bathrooms covered in graffiti & toilet paper. Product bins all over floor. Rude staff. Pump overflowed all over car. No washer fluid. Air compressor didn't work, but was still able to charge my card of course. Seriously, I can't think of a way it could be worse!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cumberland Falls SRP. Nice historic lodge with all modern amenities. Very clean room but the queen room was little small. Comfortable bed. Very quiet easy sleeping room. The lunch buffet was good, the dinner buffet was great, restaurant staff most excellent hospitality. The only option continental breakfast was sad for those that enjoy a hearty breakfast. Great location near the gorgeous waterfall. Easy parking.

The park is gorgeous! Love that there are paved trails so a wheelchair, stroller, walker, etc are able to go down the path to see the falls and river. The park was VERY busy. We arrived on a Friday around noon. The main parking lot was full so we crossed the bridge to a pull-off parking lot. There was a trail head that took us to the opposite side of the river! Perfect! We got to see the falls, took a strenuous hike to another waterfall, and there were few people. This trail is not paved and is a level 8 out of 10 for difficulty. LOVED it!

One of the best places to go when I want to just get away. The falls are amazing. There's easy access for those who can walk flat surfaces. There are trails and stairs for those who want to put in a little more effort. There's a small beach area at the for of the falls where pet owners take their dogs to play in the water. It's amazing!!

Rooms were clean but dated furniture and furnishings. Bathrooms need remodeling, no towel hanger or hooks on bathroom door for hanging clothes or towels. No labels on soap, shampoo or conditioner dispenser in shower and no soap on sink. Check in was great! Lodge is beautifully decorated for Fall. Beautiful view on outside patio!

The cabin, which is a duplex is just the bare minimum. It worked for us. We couldve used some heat or an extra blanket. Had a good night's sleep and coffee in the morning. Thats all we needed. You have to drive into Corbin to get food if the restaurant isn't open, which was our case. We got take out and ate at the falls. There were hardly any people there. It was lovely.

Great way to see the Big South Fork. We have been spending the last week hiking in the area and were excited to try river kayaking here. The Blue Heron to Yamakraw route was stunningly beautiful, very light paddling and small rapids. Would be a great first river trip for someone interested in trying it out. The young woman who drove us out and gave us directions (this is an unguided trip) was early, very professional and gave us some hiking trip pointers in the area. If you live anywhere around here, or are visiting, this is a must try!!!!

We spent 4 days 3 nights at location with 30ft RV travel trailer. Checkin - was quick to get checked in. Site- easy to access and fairly level. Biggest issues with site are the sewer hookup with a large piece of lumber between sewer hose on RV and drain. This created issue where sewer pipe from RV didn't drain thoroughly. The site also had very low water pressure. Tried 2 different pressure regulator and had adjusted spigot to max flow. Didn't go above 20 and taking a shower wasn't very good. Plenty of space and fire pit was good. Technology - No OTA stations for amplified TV. Lots of radio stations choices. No cell coverage. WiFi coverage was decent but unsecured. Campgrounds - There is zipline for adults and a separate one for younger kids. There is a playground. There are covered wagons for camping inside as well as lots of cabin choices. The snack shack was not open as this was pre-memorial day. Lots of gifts ideas in the shop. Area - Plenty of options within driving distance for evening entertainment and dining. Corbin has the original KFC restaurant. There is a state park not far away. They have a moonbow a few times a year. Just be aware on campground as well as near water areas, the propensity to see copperhead snakes increases so be aware with any pets or children.

Extremely Disappointed — Poorly Managed from Start to Finish What was supposed to be a relaxing kayak trip turned into a frustrating and chaotic experience. We arrived at 2:45 PM for a 3:00 PM reservation, completed our paperwork, and then waited nearly an hour before finally leaving. That delay set the tone for the rest of the day. Shortly into our drive, one of the kayaks fell off the trailer and landed in the middle of the road due to being poorly secured. The tie-down straps were dry-rotted and failed completely. If we had been following any closer — or if another vehicle had been coming — it could have resulted in a serious accident. Unfortunately, the driver couldn’t see the trailer from inside the bus and unknowingly left us and the kayak behind. Thankfully, a kind passerby helped us lift and haul it so we could continue by rearranging his truck bed. After all that, we arrived at what we thought was our launch point — only to be told we had to drive another 15–20 minutes to a different put-in location. The driver was unable to tie the kayak back down for further transport because of the broken straps. By the time we finally got on the river, it was already late in the afternoon. We pulled off the river at 6 PM, having spent barely an hour actually kayaking. The majority of our time and energy went into delays, miscommunication, and logistical failures. We paid a significant amount of money for this trip, and I am extremely disappointed in the lack of organization and safety. We will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others to consider their options before booking here.

If you're looking for solitude on the water, this is your trip. We didn’t see a single soul the entire time—just trees, sky, and the occasional heron judging us from a distance. No party crowds, no rope swings, and no folks camped out on the banks. Peaceful? Absolutely. Rowdy river fun? Not this stretch. We floated the first 5 miles like royalty on a lazy throne... then realized we still had 3 to go and the clock was not on our side. If you want to make it a full float without having to turn into paddle-powered superheroes for the last hour, get on the river before 1 PM. Trust me, your arms will thank you later. This trip is very different from anything near the Cincinnati area. No spots to jump in, no river swings, and honestly, not a ton of places to even stop. Thanks to recent rains, we only found one shady spot that felt worth getting in the water. That said, the scenery is top-tier. Peaceful, lush, and beautiful—the kind of place that resets your brain a little. Pro tips: These plastic canoes are narrower than what we’re used to up north, so bring a smaller cooler. And maybe give your partner a warning before you shift your weight or lean too far. Balance is a team sport out there. Overall: A chill and scenic paddle, best for people who enjoy the quiet and don't mind a bit of effort to get out of it what you put in. Bring the right mindset (and maybe a backup paddle), and it’s a great day on the water.

Did the raft trip this morning up to the falls. Quick, fun trip. Noah our guide was awesome and he did all the paddling so we just got to relax and take pics. We are used to doing a lot kayaking but it was nice to just sit back and enjoy the ride for once. Definitely recommend the trip and Noah!

We went SUP boarding for the first time. Had a great time on the water and our guide Stacy was patient with our group that also included kids. I was slower and had a hard time getting back ashore but she came and guided me safely back. I didn’t know that it included a small hike to Eagle Falls and that was a treat.

It's rare that a private campground outshines the state park campground , but this is the case here. The staff is a real team and very lovely and knowledgeable. They really helped us find the right paddles for us. Thanks guys.

Stayed at a backwoods tent site. It was perfect. Their showers and bathrooms are very clean and nice. Which made my daughter and wife especially happy, as we have seen some terrible bathrooms at campgrounds. This place is super convenient for commuting a short distance at night to see the “moonbow” at Cumberland Falls, which is about a 10 minute drive. Definitely be back.

We have had a few pool parties here for my kids and it has been a great experience every time. My daughter’s party was with the dome and we just loved it. It felt like we were having a pool party inside of a fort! As far as the price goes for a party compared to other places around here, you get the most bang for your buck. No guest limit or add on fees for this or that. The lifeguards are always courteous and very accommodating. it’s just a fun laid back experience. Absolutely would recommend and plan to book future parties.

Staff was very kind, watched the pool and surroundings. One lifeguard even counteracts with the kids after switching watch time with another. He played football with them. Although it has nothing to do with the pool itself, I ha e been to other pools and the kids are rude cussing and vaping. Here, none of that went on, actually the kids were polite and being kids. If one thing could be changed, the ladders need to be lower , one has to step up to high to be able to get out, I had a friend with me who really struggled to get out, there was a handicap individual who could have gotten in and out easier with steps. The water was perfect temperature. charging to use the chairs isn't something they should do. And a pavilion or something foe individuals with small children or ones who don't want alot of sun exposure could sit under. This would rate it a 5+....but because of these I'd rate it a 3.

We were looking for a park on our way through town. Found this on the recommendation from our waitress at Sonny's (thanks Brie!) My son loved the playground.

It was fun for the whole family. Just wish that we didn't have to pay to use the chairs and that there were more spaces for shade for the people who get sunburn easily.

Absolutely beautiful park. The kids love it. Wish ours at home was this nice

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The facility was well maintained and clean. The pool was very nice and relaxing!

Very well kept park that's small in size but perfect for the area/community. Baseball/Softball diamonds are pristine, jungle gym area is up to date and clean, open field for miscellaneous, basketball, dog park is fantastic. Parking is 'get in where you fit in' and can be frustrating, and the neighboring city pool is closed. Overall great place.

Small limited facility with a gymnasium/basketball court, also has a small room with free weights downstairs. In the upper section there are 2 rooms 1 of which has weight machines and the other has cardio machines such as treadmills, bikes, & eliptical machines. The senior citizens center is also located in this building. Most mornings the majority of people using the facilities are senior adults. Usually after 2 or 3 pm the facility is low activity, and increases until closing time. The machines are well used and could use some attention. The memberships are inexpensive. The outside areas has a decent sized park with slides, swings, a couple of play house. Adjacent to the little league baseball fields. There is a skate park, a fenced dog park, and a walking trail. The restrooms in the park area have been closed for several weeks, at the time of this posting. People with no Common Sense also use the area with the playground equipment, bringing their dogs in the area, when the dog park area is just around the road. Leaving pet waste on the grassy area of the playground area.

Decent fenced skatepark with a few ramps, including 1/2 and 1/4 pipes. There’s a couple rails too. The stakepark is clean and there’s ample parking nearby. Signage indicates it closes at 11:30 PM daily.
