Had a great experience here. Seats don't recline but that's kool. Street parking can be limited but there's free parking behind the theater where the Metra Station is. Price was phenomenal. Great assistance from online purchase to in house pick up.
Beautiful Art Deco theater with renovated seats and giant screen. Decent concessions, restrooms in basement. There’s a second smaller theater I haven’t seen. Recommended for the architecture alone, but the price was also good.
I love it all! I was impressed, my guest was impressed, everything was impressive especially that this place is almost 100 years old 🤯. Hope it doesn’t collapse for aging. But I love it’s design, I don’t see any of that in theaters I usually go to and new ones I try to go to. I feel like watching The Naked Gun (2025) was destined to be seen in the Mega theatere, have been on like that with films in a streak lately.
There was no ice for the fountain drinks and the popcorn was stale but the theater is absolutely gorgeous! I wish it was surround sound audio, it sounds a bit warpy if you are sitting in the back because the sound is only coming from the front.
This review is for the rear theater. We brought our family of 5 to see Lilo and Stitch. The popcorn tastes like it was a few days old. The actual theater (#5) was filthy! There were gnats to no surprise because it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in days. The seats were worn and torn and the theater smelled like gross body odor. I definitely will not be going back. I am not sure of how the front theater is because I have not been there in awhile.
The main theatre is gorgeous. Seats move, and they are quite comfortable. They may be a little tight if you and the person next to you have broad shoulders. Luckily, you can move the armrest up or keep it down. A new release in the main theatre for only $12? Yes, please.
First time here for a G Fest showing! Pretty awesome! Only thing, I wanted to refill my drink for the drive home and the fountains were off. Otherwise, great experience!
What a great old nostalgic theatre. We have been coming here for years and enjoy being here every time. The theatres are great, chairs are comfy and the movies are always great!!

Great place, helpful beertenders! I stopped in to pick up a few Oktoberfest beers that I discovered they had via Untappd! Bottle shops like Beer on the Wall are perfect for when you don't want to buy a full 4-pack or 6-pack of something you want to try. And they have a good selection of beers on tap!
Very nice bottle shop with a lot of good beers. They also have beer on draught, which is nice. They have inside and outside seating options
Visiting Beer on the Wall in Park Ridge offers a diverse and intriguing beer selection that tempts any craft beer enthusiast. With options ranging from light Lagers to robust IPAs and unique farmhouse drafts, there's a taste for every palate. The atmosphere is lively, and the setup with an outdoor patio adds to the allure, making it a potentially great spot for a sunny day. During my visit, the experience was a rollercoaster. The beers were generally excellent, each pour delivering a distinct and flavorful experience, scoring a solid 10/10 on the beer quality scale—until one misstep. One of the beers had a musky, underarm-like aroma, which was less than pleasant. When I requested a swap, the initial refusal from one staff member was disappointing. He should have offered a "taste" first before (which they do without charge). Fortunately, another team member was more accommodating, allowing me to exchange the off-putting beer for another. While the customer service was inconsistent, and some patrons seemed to have similar challenges with the bartenders, it's not enough to write this place off completely. The staff's eventual willingness to rectify the issue shows promise. However, prospective visitors might want to approach with a bit of caution—perhaps check the crowd and ask about the flexibility on beer swaps before diving in. Overall, Beer on the Wall has the potential to be a fantastic spot for beer lovers. Just be prepared for a possible hiccup or two, and don't hesitate to speak up if something isn't to your liking. It's not without its flaws, but it's certainly worth a visit for anyone looking to explore some unique brews in Park Ridge.
Beers, wines, whiskey, bourbon, you can find it here. There are so many different brands and good prices and almost 100 percent up charge for service if drinking inside. Not with whiskey, though. Bars with high chairs and tables in private sections. Will be back for more.
Best beer shop in Chicago. Fantastic selection where you can buy single cans, growler fills and sampler drafts. Owner is amazing and stuff is extremely knowledge, friendly and fun to talk with. No mater where you live in Chicago, it's absolutely worth the trip out to Park Ridge
Beer On the Wall, shares a wall with Off the Wall cafe. Plenty of taps, pours, and just anything beer related, Beer On the Wall is your go-to for your alcoholic needs. They have a small seating area with a couch, and dining table, topped off with a classic 8-bit Nintendo to just hangout and sip on your beer. Everyone is super nice and friendly. BATHROOM REVIEW: If you like orange, this is the unisex bathroom for you. Super clean, super functional, and super pleasant. Sit or squat? Sit!
This is the Mecca of beer stores. What's really awesome is that they have a bar serving craft beer. . .So 10:05 AM, Saturday May 25, 2019, I ordered an IPA from the bar and then walked around to check out their imitable beer selection. Man, I was a kid in a candy store. I asked one of the staff a beer recommendation--I wanted to try at least one I've never had before--the first 5 she rattled off, I've had, but I knew she'd knew her beer, as they were all outstanding. She finally recommended some I haven't had, and she was spot on as I am currently on my back deck enjoying them. It took my a few minutes to figure out the arrangement, but it made logical sense when I figured it out. Beers aren't just arranged by style. For example your favorite local IPA may be on one part of the store but an IPA from say California would be in another. With the exception of singles (in case you want to take a road soda or two), the beer is not refrigerated, which is fine as their inventory obviously gets rotated frequently, ergo there beer is always fresh. Opportunity for improvement: I noticed for most people the hand-held baskets by the door were sufficient for their beer drinking needs, but I'm not most people. I drove quite a ways to get here , so I'm going to load up my trunk with delicious beer. I had to make 5 trips with the hand-held basket. . .So it'll be nice if they also had a shopping cart or two. I will damn sure make the pilgrimage here again. . .and again, and again, and again!
They do great work and have a great collection of beers. Always refreshing to stop inside and see what’s new

Fantastic nature center with so much to offer. The ponds have bass and coy, kids can fish. Lots of playground space, dog friendly and many birds. Great for all ages and enjoyed showing the grandkids turtles and butterflies. Very educational. Free great open restrooms for kids and parents.
Great place to visit , kids loved it lots of caged and tanked animals, Great walk trail around small lake, Restrooms available, Free parking Awesome place
Great place with amazing animals, love peanut!
A great (very popular with quite a crowd) nature center with many animals to visit! Our favorite was the tortoise who was walking around, who loved getting petted on his shell! Arrive early before the crowd!
Love coming here with the family to enjoy nature, the wildflowers, man-made lakes, the peaceful and beautiful scenery. People also come here to fish. Plus, there's also a playground within the compound.
This place is like a hidden gem. Very clean and adventurous park / nature center. I come here for fishing. This location is catch and release only. Lakes are small to medium, during summer / warm weather expect your spot to possibly be taken. I haven't caught anything here yet but its always peaceful coming here. The right (east) lake doesn't have many fishing spots, I usually go to the back end and lately its been filled with broken branches.
Such a wonderful little corner! We would come very often to look at animals and then walk around the park. The staff are always so friendly, we've had birthdays here too and it was a really warm and fun experience.
Beautiful, but decently small. Consistently see frogs, turtles, and ducks on the pond, so great for young kids who won't want to stay for too long anyway. The actual Center (building) has been closed due to COVID.

While they didn't have the exact thing I was looking for (viewed website first), I didn't phone to check inventory. I drove over there and enjoyed browsing anyway. The ladies were kind and busy updating the gift shop with new season friendly gifts! Still, I found unique gifts to hand out for my neighborhood party. Raffia is organized, and I had a pleasant experience . Great location as well - easy parking.
I love this store! It has been in Park Ridge for more than 20 years in various store fronts, but is now back on tge main strip where it iz!belongs! Raffia has so many cool things and I am so happy zo rediscovered
Super cute shop! I bought a Spongelle and tried it for the first time in the shower this morning. The scent is lovely and not overpowering. The loofah texture is not extremely rough but just the right amount to have your skin feel refreshed. I really debated on purchasing some earrings but decided not to. I will be going back when I make it back to Park Ridge.
Stumbled into this place totally by accident, while walking around the Pickwick building. What a beautiful shop! Needless to say, I didn't walk out empty-handed! Great little trinkets.
Raffia is my go to shop for pretty, unique and/or inspiring gifts. Whether I'm looking to refresh my house or finding a personal gift for a friend - Raffia consistently comes through. Raffia is truly a treasure box filled with wonderful gifts - for yourself or others.
This shop had the most unique and beautiful gifts and the owner could not have been nicer and more knowledgeable! I would highly recommend paying Raffia Gifts a visit soon!
Fun shop but it feels a little cramped.
This place has the best gifts!

I’ve been coming to Elements for a few months now and seeing Eric — he is amazing and I always leave feeling great. I suffer from tension headaches and he always ends our massage with an unbelievable head/neck massage. Front desk is always super kind and helpful as well. ◡̈
I had an amazing experience at Elements Massage at park ridge and I have to give a special shout-out to Haley Kahn. She did my facial, and it was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. Haley was professional, attentive, and really took the time to understand my skin needs before starting. Throughout the facial, she made sure I felt comfortable and explained what she was doing in a way that was both reassuring and informative. Not only did my skin feel refreshed, hydrated, and glowing afterwards, but the entire experience was incredibly relaxing. Haley has such a calm and caring energy, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. She didn’t rush through anything and gave thoughtful recommendations for maintaining healthy skin at home. The whole staff at Elements Massage was welcoming, and the atmosphere was clean and soothing, but Haley really made my visit special. If you’re considering a facial, I highly recommend booking with her, you won’t be disappointed!
It’s always hard to find a place that has massage therapists that can give a really good deep tissue massage, this is def a place for people who like it deep, and not where you have someone just lightly rub oil lightly which is annoying. John was amazing, and I feel amazing afterwards.
Everyone was extremely friendly and professional! It was my very first massage and I did not know exactly what to expect, but I left feeling relaxed and renewed! I will be coming back quite often! Thank you Joanna for making me feel like a whole new person and for laughing with me! Absolutely wonderful!!! :)
It was my first experience and I was very disappointed with my visit. First, I was not informed that I needed to be 10, 15 min before to fill information (of course, they deducted the time from the massage), deduct another 10 min in the therapist preparation. At the end a 60 min massage turned into a 40 - 45 min massage. Moreover, the therapist was constantly informing me about the time left and since "I was late" she needed to end the massage on time to serve the next customer like if it was my fault. She reminded me about the time left so many times that I was just about to stop the massage and leave. On top of that, the massage wasn't good because I asked her a couple of times to do it a little softer but she did not adjust anything. Because of this, I do not recommend this place and I will not come again. Please, if you are looking for a massage, for sure this place is not the one you should go or recommend to your friends, I won't.
I have been to Elements a couple different times over the last couple years and I always leave feeling refreshed and renwed. The therapists are very professional and great at what they do! I most recently had a massage with Ray who focused on my problem areas that we discussed before the massage and ensured that I left feeling better than I did when I arrived. Would highly recommend!
This was my first time at Elements Therapeutic Massage and my last. I had high hopes for my massage therapy appointment, especially after being warmly greeted by the first front desk attendant, who was lovely and professional. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. My therapist, Eric, was cold and unwelcoming from the start. His demeanor was anything but relaxing—he seemed annoyed, rushed, and completely disengaged. The massage itself was not up to par. Despite telling Eric that I prefer firmer pressure when he asked, nothing changed throughout the session and he did not ask again. His movements, especially when handling my arms and legs, were rough and jarring rather than therapeutic. When he stretched my neck, he did so uncomfortably and pulled my hair multiple times. Even the way he tucked in the blanket was abrupt and uncomfortable. It also became clear that his knowledge of proper anatomy was lacking, and there were no calming or soothing qualities to his technique. Overall, it felt like he didn’t want to be there, and I certainly didn’t feel cared for or relaxed. There were multiple points during the massage that I contemplated ending the session early. To make matters worse, when I mentioned to the second front desk attendant that the massage was “not great,” she simply responded with “ok”—no apology, no concern, no offer to make things right. Very disappointing customer service all around. I never leave negative reviews, but this experience was far from what I expected from a professional massage therapy business.

TeaLula is a great place for enthusiasts, or anyone who is open to sampling an excellent cup of tea. Unlike others, TeaLula brews Individual pots using loose leaf tea. No adding hot water to the dregs of previously used leaves here! The menu features ten teas and you can sample them all if so inclined. The prix fixe afternoon tea for the Winter season consisted of four petite sandwiches carefully constructed and layered with flavors, two kick-bum scones (one of which was chocolate chip) served with wild berry jam, lemon curd and home-made clotted cream, and two small bites of sweet pleasure. We had the opportunity to talk with Chef Jeff who impressed us with his warmth and willingness to answer a few questions. We were charmed by the efficient but cheery server (Annie) who made us feel quite at home. Reservations for Afternoon Tea service are recommended and it’s available Thursday through Sunday. Street parking or use the lot (free after 11:00 am) with access through the alley across from TeaLula.
Beautiful TeaHouse perfect for afternoon Tea with friends and family. They have well crafted tea menu alongside sandwiches. Their tea blends are unique and sandwiches aligned with English style. Reminded me of my time in UK. I got the cucumber sandwich and Chai tea. Both amazing !! Sampled the blue velvet tea (green tea base, lavender and blueberry, amazing as well). They sell teas as well which is great to have as a collection at home. The staff is very sweet and welcoming. Plenty of street parking and prices are very reasonable.
I have picked up a couple of times from here but I am so glad I decided to stay and enjoy a tea in the cutest store layout. My server Uliya (sp?) was so kind and patient. I was looking for a kind of tea that wasn’t on the menu and she suggested one I absolutely loved. I also had the cauliflower soup with basil pesto and it was fantastic. I will definitely be back to spend time inside. Thank you 😊🫖☕️
We just enjoyed a birthday tea for my daughter at TeaLula. I can't say enough great things about it. The atmosphere was beautiful, quaint and warm. The items on the tier were amazing, presented beautifully, and the tea was so good. Victoria, our waitress was so kind, and made this a wonderful day and experience. The owner, Shelia went above and beyond to be sure my daughter felt special. Thank you for a special day.
My girlfriends and I had the best time at TeaLula! The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating - They truly made us feel at home. Our little group gets together seasonally to try out different Chicagoland tea houses and I can speak for the group and say this menu of tea and food was our absolute favorite. We highly recommend Tealula and can not wait to go back!
We had an event for our dear friend that beat cancer and the owner and staff at Tealula were beyond wonderful! They even worked with me to personalize the high tea with a pink fight squad tea menu! Feel free to ask about it! Lovely afternoon and very special. Thank you!;)
We enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon tea which included an assortment of scones with fresh clotted cream and jam, various desserts, delicious finger sandwiches and bottomless pots of tea. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They also offer a large variety of teas and tea ware for sale. A great place to spend a couple hours sipping tea relaxing with friends or family.
This is a very cute tea shop with a nice atmosphere and kind staff. I came here at the recommendation of a coworker and I was not disappointed. I went with a friend and we ordered a pot of tea to share. While the original tea we ordered ended up being sold out the staff were very kind and gave several recommendations of an alternative tea to try. I have since returned and still love the atmosphere and of course the tea.

Stephanie was amazing. The firmness was perfect. It has been a long time since I have had a good masseuse from ME in the Chicago-land area. I was getting frustrated and so glad they stopped doing the cookie cutter timed paint by number massages that every masseuse had to use. They were horrible. I tried to book Stephanie again the following Monday but she didn't have any open times. :-( I definitely will keep looking for her when I schedule. I also like the park ridge location but I do with they had a quiet room to wait in like most locations.
Miranda gave me a great facial! She takes the time to make great recommendations on needed services and explains her process step by step. I would definitely request her again. I had Lupe for my massage therapist for the first time & she was great as well! Very friendly, professional and attentive to my needs to follow instructions and provide the perfect amount of pressure. I would definitely request her again as well. Thanks ladies. I love the Park Ridge location as I always get great customer service there!
Liz is the bomb. 💣 The best. ✨ The cats meow. 😻 I am so happy that I was able to snag a last minute appointment with Liz. She is knowledgeable, attentive, crazy strong, and funny! The whole package. When our session was over, I tried to book another one for the very next day! She's awesome.
It was my first time ever having a facial massage. Angela was amazing. Talk me through the whole process. She was amazing. I would recommend her to all my friends and family. I
Stephani was amazing and very professional! Provided great service along with knowledge and education! Recommended things to do at home to get some relief! Thank you! Book with her now!
I had a 90 minute massage with Elizabeth C. at the Park Ridge IL Massage Envy. She was very professional and kind, asking about my comfort with the pressure being applied and taking care to avoid a bandage I had on my leg covering a healing surgical scar. I felt much better after the massage and highly recommend her services!!!
Steph is consistently helpful in asking what is still bothering me and if anything new has come up since our last massage session. She takes her time to work the focus areas and I always feel better walking out of ME!
Update: I am so thankful that I have a trusted place to go to for massage and facials. Brittany and Miranda are both exceptional in their craft and leave me feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and at peace. The people at the front desk are welcoming and so helpful with making sure you get the services that are right for you. The manager was helpful when I had some questions and made me feel like he valued me as a customer. Overall, I enjoy everyone and everything at the Park Ridge location.

I want to speak to the men reading this review - who've never had a pedicure. Cathie was highly recommended to me. I had no real issues with my feet - other than calluses, an ingrown nail or two and dry skin - like I'm guessing most of you have! For whatever reason I was slightly anxious walking in the door - (new experience, right?) - but was immediately put at ease by Cathie. As far as the time spent - it was blissful! I completely relaxed and had a delightful chat with Cathie while she went about my treatment. As much as I didn't want it to end - when it did - I can tell you - I walked out with my feet never having felt better! So, gentlemen - if you've never had a pedicure - I encourage you to let Cathie work her magic! And, for wives, girlfriends and daughters looking for a unique gift for the man in your life - Cathie's Escape is the way to go!
If you have been cooped up inside and want some pampering, Cathie is the person to see. She is COVID conscience, always wears a mask and is sterilizing everything between clients. Cathie offers manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, massage, cranial sacral massage and reflexology. I have been going to Cathie for 20+ year and I love all of her services. I always feel comfortable with Cathie and she is always very considerate to her clients needs. Go see Cathie and treat yourself to a nice experience - you deserve it!
My husband purchased a gift certificate from Cathie’s Escape for a Christmas Present. I finally was able to use it for the Classic Facial. Cathie provided excellent service. She has knowledge of what treatment to use for my skin and was explained step by step. At the end of the session Cathie massaged my head, neck and shoulders. It was so very relaxing. When I got home my husband commented on how great I looked. I thanked him for his gift and told him how great I felt. I would definitely go back in a few months.
Cathie does such a great job of making the manicure/pedicure or other service relaxing. I recently went to her for a wax and a manicure/pedicure. I am always frustrated with manicures because they come off so quickly. Mine has remained on for over a week. In addition, she doesn't cut the cuticles so short that I get hang nails, which I REALLY appreciated. I would recommend Cathie's Escape to anyone needing a relaxing manicure, pedicure, facial, or waxing!
As a long-time client, (25+ years), of Cathie's I can vouch for her quality service, professionalism, cleanliness and variety of services. Cathie is a talented esthetician and masseuse. I have had similar services in high-end facilities, and none have been as good as what Cathie provides, not to mention her pricing is much more reasonable! Can't decide what service you want to get? My favs are Cathie's Facial or Massage.
This weekend Cathie gave me my 1st facial. WOW! It was so relaxing and my skin felt great and looked a little younger when I left. Its also nice to chat with Cathie & she's very knowledgeable about essential oils and their uses. Thank you, Cathie!
Cathie is great!! Attention to detail made all the difference! I was relaxed and feeling rejuvenated. Cathie can help you feel great and keep you healthy. Whether it's a mani-pedi, massage or lunchtime facial Cathie's Escape is the place to go.
I purchased a Spa Day in Park Ridge gift certificate as a thank you to a client. She can choose from a facial and get a manicure or pedicure. The prices looked reasonable. Yes there is a Cathie, and got to talk to her a bit. She is just about one of the nicest people you'll ever want to meet. If you're ever around Park Ridge and want some spa type pampering give these guys a call. Excellent Service!

I tried Reyna's new Zen yoga facial Zen-juvination. The facial focuses on massage for the face and lymphatic drainage. Her touch is calming and relaxing. Reyna pays attention to detail, each part of the face was massaged evenly. I went in feeling tired in the eyes and drained, when I left my face felt firm and rejuvenated!
I had a wonderful experience. Very welcoming and relaxing space. Reyna was very informative and made my entire visit extremely relaxing. My skin felt and looked amazing after just one facial. Highly recommend her skincare line. Just after a few days I notice a huge difference in the appearance of my skin. Will definitely be continuing to work with Reyna. A
Trust your skin to Bella Reyna Spa for beautiful and glowing results. During my mirconeedling treatment, I was made to feel as comfortable as possible. The quality of care I received showed me I was a valued client. Noticeable changes to my skin were apparent less than a week after the treatment, feeling tighter, smoother and more radiant.
Living with stage 4 breast cancer is exhausting. One of the best decisions I have made was adding Reyna into my care team. Having Reyna incorporate Reiki on a weekly basis, has helped my body restore physically and emotionally. She was heaven sent.
Reyna is excellent and super knowledgeable about all skin issues. And she has her own skin care lines. Impressive and highly recommend.
There are no words to describe how amazing Reyna is! I've been coming for monthly facials since April 2017. I had bad acne when I first started seeing Reyna and now my skin is the clearest it's ever been. She takes the time to get to know her clients and to come up with a skincare routine that would work for them. I've learned so much from her about health in general, not just skincare. Thanks to Reyna I am very confident walking outside with no make up on. I barely wear make up nowadays because my skin is so clear and beautiful. I would highly recommend Reyna!!
I have experienced Reyna’s amazing facials, Reiki and waxing. With every visit, Reyna made me feel pampered, serene and amazing. If you haven’t already experienced her services, your missing out on her great talent and expertise. I’m ready to book another session with Reyna by just reflecting back on my experiences! She’s amazing!!!!!!
I had a very relaxing experience. Reyna is very informative and she even helped me with my at home skin care routine. After the facial my skin felt amazing for days. I will most definately go back and i would recommend her to everybody.
