These ziplines are amazing! Such long lines over beautiful scenery. Annabelle and Julia were the best guides, friendly, kind and good with my kids, and knowledgeable about all the local fruit and land. I can’t recommend this enough!
This Zipline tour was amazing!!! Our guides Josh and Annabelle were so much fun and made it even more awesome. They had different fruits you could try along the way and so many gorgeous flowers to see! And then the views were insanely beautiful. We would definitely do this again!
Such a great experience! Josh and Annabelle were super friendly and made this adventure fun & memorable. Amazing views and felt safe the entire time. Water and some fruits to try along the way and fun photo ops! Thank you Hawaii Zipline Tour :)
Book with Bobbi if you want an amazing and knowledgeable guide for your hike. She showed us all the exotic fruits that we could try during the hike and shared all of the history of how all the different plants got to the island. The staff is so friendly and helpful that after our hike I realized I had lost my phone, they went back and found it on the trail. (See last picture.)
Had the lifetime of the experience! Josh and Annabelle were so kind and inviting. They’re very knowledgeable about the island and we’re giving us facts the whole time. I’d recommend this to everyone!
It was our first time ziplining and we were so nervous about it (we're in our 60's) but our guides put us so at ease that by the time we got to the 7th and final line(over an amazing waterfall) we just had fun, not nervous at all! We loved it so much!
What an amazing experience we had, highly recommended! This was our first time zip lining! The crew Micah, Kai and Annabelle were phenomenal to say the least!! Thank you!!
My wife went with my daughter and her best friend for her 15th birthday. They had an awesome time and my wife says she's officially addicted!

Kolekole Park is simply beautiful. Magical actually. Yes, even the industrial-looking bridge adds to its atmosphere. It is nestled in a lush, tropical gorge carved out by a small stream that meets the Pacific right at the base of rocky cliffs. Very clean. Picnic buildings as well as picnic tables. Tricky but short drive down. Keep this place clean and uncrowded. Hawaii deserves it.
This Gulch was awesome. It's river/waterfall/ocean/beach combo makes it quite a sight. And if you're lucky like we were, you'll get visited by two beautiful sea turtles 🐢
Nice park that has been rebuilt. Not a ton of things to do unless you want to swim in the river and for more advanced swimmers and boogie boarders, there are some great waves when you get out into the coastal waves. Some nice places to sit but must be able to navigate a rocky shore. No beach area. Scenic.
Gorgeous! Relatively calm waters for kids to play, fresh water spout to rinse off, bathrooms available, parking lot, tables for picnic. Don't expect to swim per se but great for water play and relaxing, esp with kids.
Great country park with place to swim and spent time with family. Saw lots of surfers. Nice clean facilities! Limited parking
Nice Park with ocean view, not recommended to swim according to some signs. Bathrooms are really clean and there is a pic nic area
This area was for experienced surfers. We came out on 6-8 ft swell day. There was a lot of rock and debris to avoid. We had fun, but difficult to stay out of the way of the experienced surfers, also too rocky to stand in the water to help my little guy get up on a wave. I would have been fine if I brought some water shoes. I was just in Hilo area for the day.
This was a nice, scenic spot, although not as spacious as the other Parks we've visited. The waterfall that feeds into the main swimming area was pretty cool too. The water was just as clear and clean as the other Parks we've visited as well. Walk to the ocean end of the Park and prepare to take it all in. The calming sound of the crashing waves and the spectacular view make this a definite spot to visit.

If you are on your way to Akaka Falls, and you have children, you simply MUST stop here! The lady who owns the farm is lovely and she delights in introducing the human kids to the goat kids. The baby goats adore having human children to play with, it's so cute! I also saw some teenage girls holding a big black rooster who seemed to be loving every minute of it. They also sell goat's milk food items and soap, as well as Big Islsnd souvenirs. However, the main reason to visit is to enjoy the animals.
Wonderful, authentic experience at an operational goat farm. Young goats to pet, brush and feed were fun to hang out with - they all have their own silly little goat personalities. Great items for purchase made using their goat milk and also from other local vendors. Prices were very reasonable. Owners are nice people and the drive in is idyllic farm land. Absolutely worth a stop.
They have a nice washroom available. You can get a small container of feed for the goats. Overall they are well behaved and enjoy being brushed. Caramels are fabulous, coffee ones are to die for! The dill goat cheese was also a win!
Stumbled upon this gem on the way to Akaka Falls State Park: Honomu Goat Farm! Family-owned, super welcoming, and the goats are total cuddle bugs 🥰 Their milk caramels and spread? Absolutely to die for! And funny enough, there was even a baby goat named Valentina! 💕 If you’re ever on the Big Island, don’t skip this sweet little stop 🥹
Absolutely awesome, you have to stop by if you’re in the area. Very friendly baby goats, that you can feed you you’d like. They’ll happily accept neck scratches once you’re out though! We’ve been here before, and we’ll be sure to stop by on the next trip! Don’t forget to try their homemade caramels!
If you are in the area, you need to stop at this little place! It is absolutely wonderful. The goats are fantastic, the caramel is delicious, and they sample all their goat cheese, too. It is a very peaceful and simply beautiful place on the Hamakua coast.
Absolutely loved coming here while vacationing in Hilo!! The drive here is stunning, the goat farm is the cutest experience in the world and quite therapeutic, and the owner is such a caring and kind person!! I wish I lived here so I could go back every day!
Just visited this lovely goat farm - the baby goats were adorable - our family enjoyed feeding and petting them. Do stop by their cute store where they sell amazing goat cheese, salted caramels and soaps - Angie the owner is so kind and welcoming 🌸- highly recommend!

Rainforest waterfall featuring distinctive rainbows on sunny days, seen from a viewing platform.

Rainbow Falls is the perfect destination to really feel the mana of this beautiful island. So close to downtown with handicap access it is safe for youngsters and handicap alike. Public Bathrooms are available if you need a pit stop something you wil find few and far between.
Beautiful water pretty much in town. Can pull up and see it from different points near the parking lit or climb up some stone steps and view the falls and the river from above. Best first thing in the morning, very serene! Highly recommend, makes a great quick stop before heading over to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park if you're staying in Hilo.
Beautiful place to visit in Hilo, Hawaii. There is not a lot of parking so you may have to wait for a parking space but it does not take long to get a space since the falls is a viewing area that people leave pretty quickly but it is worth seeing.
Totally worth a visit - fairly easy and well groomed trail - good for families. The upper falls view has 3 view points. Don't miss the steep steps down to the viewing platform (it looks steep but worth it - trust me). Note that this is different than the lower falls sign which points to the left which path goes another 0.6 miles to another smaller falls view (not really worth it in my opinion). Enjoy the falls - good lunch spot
Awesome waterfall from a waterfall junkie!!! The two observation spots are perfect for different views of the falls. The <5 min walk up to to see the banyan trees and top of the waterfall is worth it. Rainbow Falls stayed true to its name with beautiful rainbows. For those with accessibility concerns, you can see the waterfall from the parking lot. Bathrooms were available. We visited around 1 PM on a weekend in November and it wasn't crowded. We stayed around 30 min. 10/10 would recommend.
Quick stop to see a waterfall in the town of Hilo. Best to see rainbow in the morning. Can view waterfall from level ground steps away from parking lot or you can take uneven, natural rock steps to view waterfall from above.
Great waterval near Hilo. You can just drive to it and parm 100 feet away. If you go in the morning you may see the rainbow the falls were named after.
Beautiful waterfall that is almost visible from the parking lot! Super easy to get to and enjoy. We wanted to see more waterfalls so we are heading over to Akaka Falls state park. I hear there is a nice .4 mile walking trail where you see three different waterfalls. It is located about 30 min from Rainbow falls
