A great winery. The staff is friendly and helpful. Wonderful selection of whites & reds. A must stop!
This is an awesome winery in a country setting. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have indoor and outdoor seating in a beautiful setting. In addition to wine, pizza and pretzels are available.
I visited on a Sunday afternoon May 2022. I wasn’t even sure they were open, but they were. I was the only person there. The day was nice, I wonder where everyone was at? The grounds around the tasting room and house are a mess with flower beds over taken by weeds. It was not nice or pretty to look at. Randy was very nice, I tried the only dry red they offered, Marquette Reserve, it was good. Atmosphere was not great, we have no need to return. You will have a little less than 1/2 mile on a gravel road.
We rented the mansion for my daughter’s bridal shower. What a perfect setting to celebrate! The inside of the mansion is incredible, tastefully decorated with period pieces. Oh and the outside! Between the decor, flower beds and grapevines, can I say breathtaking?! Sandy is incredible to work with an even served us those delicious wine slushies! If you are looking for an event venue, this is THE place!
Mallory came from the apple orchards to serve their delicious wines. The vintner obviously knows how to get the best from the grape. We bought an unusual sparkling Red, a flavourful Catawa, and two others. The Buchanan home from 1886 is lovely. Definitely a must for wine connoisseurs.
This is a favorite winery to me and my friends...atmosphere is wonderful and everyone there is wonderful and make you feel very welcome!! The wine they make is yet the best by far of any winery we gone too!! But if you are planning to attend one of the venues you should call the day before to make sure that things are as scheduled...this past weekend was the 3rd time weve gone there for entertainment but to get there and it be cancelled for some reason ..This was such a let down after driving 2 and a half hours for my friends from out of state and me 40 min.....we love it there and always plan our girls get away around you...I get it things happen, but it would of been nice to have more of a heads up...we had this planned for 2 months and did not know it was cancled until we arrived and we were not the only guests that showed up dissapointed...none the less the wine was delicious as usual..just disapointed on the venue...more of a heads up would of been nice for us to reschedule or plan something else😔😔
This is my favorite winery! This place is perfectly situated between iowa city, cedar rapids, and the quad cities. They moved a beautiful old brick mansion and are restoring it. Placed upon a hill with gorgeous views. The owners are absolutely fantastic, and there is a wine for everyone here. All the wines are made on site, with all the grapes being grown on site too! Seriously a can't miss if you love wine at great prices! It is definitely worth the drive.
Visited from out of town and loved their wines! We tried a few and ended up purchasing the port, bubbly Brianna, and square dance. The area is beautiful and I imagine it would be fun on a night with live music! We will definitely come back whenever we're in Iowa.

We had a great time walking the trail, our horses were mellow and the staff was warm and knowledgeable. The leaves changing on the Cedar River made for a perfect morning!
This facility is great for trail rides, it's very pretty and the owners are very knowledgeable about their horses. If you want to go on a fun hour ride this is a great place! I personally wouldn't recommend the summer horse camp. It's very expensive and unorganized. Teenage girls are given a nap time each afternoon. And they do not actually have as much access and training with the horses as you are actually lead you to believe will happen. Also their phones are confiscated and they are not allowed to call home but only once throughout their stay. We were so disappointed that the show on the last day of camp for parents/family was canceled due to it being too wet and we never received a heads up call to let us know. Grandparents came from out of town to watch for no reason. I'm not one to leave reviews but I wish I would have known these things before signing my daughter up for camp for sure.
5 stars to this awesome place ! They were able to accommodate with us on last minute plans to horse ride and they even waited extra time since we had a 40 minute drive. Katy was our guide for the ride and she was super awesome as well ! We will be back soon !
Amazing place and staff. I spent my birthday there.
Awesome facility and people! This place has so much to offer you won't find another like it! Horses are great and trails/views are amazing.
My girls love horse camp, I think they would stay there all summer! I like that they take phones and have chores ...makes kids responsible!!!
My daughter (9yo) just went on a group ride today and had a blast. Staff was wonderful and she fell in love with the horses.
This is the best place EVER!!! The owners are amazing with the horses and make you feel welcome.

Awesome slides, a lazy river, indoor pool and plenty of space all for a reasonable price.
We had a great time! The grounds were very clean. The lifeguards were attentive. The lazy river is a nice little chill. I had nachos and nicely loaded with cheese for 2.50. The only bummer was the indoor pool was closed for repairs. I'll be back!
Love the lazy river. I hope there are plans to expand the place a bit more. Like a splash pad or just a bit more stuff for kids. Feels like there’s not enough for the little kiddos. I’m sure more people will come if add even just a splash pad.
We had Tipton Trunk or Treat today in front of the Aquatic Center. Alot of excellent space but it was so windy outside. But at least the sun was out this year! The family restroom was good for changing into costume, but the mirror in it made it a little difficult to see when applying makeup.
Diving board was broken so we got to swim in the whole deep end and it was awesome !! I lost a swimming race to a 10 year old and sat down 11 feet under water to cry about it. Great pool
Great local pool. Loved the outdoor lazy river. Large umbrellas located all around the multiple pools (2 outside and 1 indoor ). Children loved the waterslides.
Great pool, kids love the lazy river and water slides. Also nice to be able to get out of the sun go inside and swim.
Loved the lessons! My younger son learned more in four nights here than my older son did in four years at another place!

Definite improvement since I was here 7 years ago! I may be biased but this my favorite small town bar. The place is cleaned up alot since I was last in.
No food but no big deal. Great service great atmosphere and met some pretty awesome people. Fantastic place to go for an ice cold beer and some relaxation for a bit. I'd suggest to the working man this summer. When you get off work go get an ice cold beer, play some pool watch some sports and enjoy your evening.
Fun bar! My best friend Hannah and her husband brought me there! When I come back down, we'll be back!
Mixed drinks seemed diluted and weak but at least the restroom was cleaner then the last time I was there.
great service. and great bartender. woman with blue hair named terra is beautiful
Could hope for a better pool table but can't beat the bar tenders
Very friendly atmosphere. Bartenders mix and serve well.
Drinks are overpriced and it's a bad crowd of bad people who spread rumors and lie
