We had a wonderful time at Paramount Drive-In! We went to the 7:50 PM showing and arrived around 6:50 PM. There were already a few cars, but we found a perfect spot in the second row, right in the middle. The view was excellent. We tuned into 89.7 FM for the audio (for Screen 2), and it came through clearly and strongly. Restrooms and the cafeteria were easy to find, located in the center building. Tickets were very affordable—$13 per person on weekdays and $14 on Fridays, so it was just $26 for me and my wife. We watched Sinners and really enjoyed it. The lot got a bit crowded about 15 minutes before showtime, so getting there early is a good idea if you want a prime spot. There are two screens at this drive-in: • Screen 1 uses radio station 90.1 FM • Screen 2 uses 89.7 FM We also went on the opening night of Final Destination. It was packed, and the entrance line was long. Even though they had 8 lanes open, it still took about 15 minutes to get in. So if you’re going for a big movie premiere, definitely arrive at least an hour early to avoid the rush. Even the last row has a pretty good view, so no complaints if you’re a bit farther back. Overall, it was a fun, cozy, and nostalgic experience. Highly recommend!
great setup! i loved watching movie in the comfort of my car. very cozy. the video quality isn’t gonna be as great as most other theaters, but most people came for the vibe. the sound quality is nice because you just use FM radio in your car. one of the staff member here seems a little nonchalant though.
Such a fun experience! The drive-in at Paramount was a total vibe — the picture and sound quality were great, and the whole setup felt nostalgic but modern. The food blew us away too — way better than typical movie snacks. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly gourmet. 10/10 date night or chill night with friends. Definitely coming back!
Five stars and not just because its the last one of its kind around. There are two screens and plenty of parking. Snack bar offers everything from steak nachos to funnel cake. Employees are friendly, professional, and on top of things. Bathrooms are clean area is lit well. Screens look great and the whole experience is worth it! Do yourself a favor and visit asap
Went on a Friday night to watch Black Phone. We haven't been to a drive in for at least 30 years. My wife and I had a great time. The theater was very mellow. The picture was great. I have to add that the restrooms and concession stand were very clean. We are looking forward to going back. I was also impressed that a soon as the movie was over they had someone driving around to jump start anytime that had a dead battery. Fun date night 🍻
This place is great! I love how they have grooves on the ground so your vehicle can pair up with the screen. The only downfall to a place like this are the fact that people don’t know nor have a clue on how to turn off their automatic headlight function off. So some people just keep having their lights turn on periodically. Of course this wasn’t a problem back in the day.
We’ve been to the Paramount Drive-In a few times, and unfortunately the experience keeps feeling unsafe and disorganized. The food quality is poor for the price, and at $14 per ticket you’d expect better. There’s also a lot of drama in the parking area — cars with their headlights left on, loud groups, and very little staff presence to correct it. Staff members tend to react late when they do address issues, which makes the environment feel chaotic. It’s basically the only drive-in in the area, so if you want that experience you don’t have many options. But if there were another drive-in nearby, we’d definitely go somewhere else for a cleaner, safer, more organized experience.
It was great to still have drive in theater. Movie screen was good. Sound received well. Only drawback was a few inconsiderate people parked backward with hatch open obstructing view of those behind and others that smoked with smoke reaching inside our vehicle.

It's a bit tough for me to rate in regards to ice skating because I attended as a spectator for an event. The place is certainly comfortable, clean, and staff was attentive and friendly. Enjoyed my visit and learning all about the Zamboni - make it a point to visit, and see their Zamboni exhibit to learn more.
I’m so glad this place is still here!I came here as a kid a few times and I had the pleasure of coming again with my wife. We had a great time!
Iceland in Paramount is an exceptional facility for hockey enthusiasts! My son has been playing hockey there for quite some time, and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of the rink and the professionalism of the staff. The ice is always well-maintained, creating the perfect surface for skating and playing. The coaches are knowledgeable and dedicated, providing top-notch training for players of all levels. The facility itself is clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything a hockey player could need. From the welcoming atmosphere to the excellent amenities, Iceland in Paramount truly stands out as a premier destination for hockey. Highly recommended!
Nice place was there for commercial shoot, city of Paramount right in the middle of residential area nice and clean streets nice houses nice people who live around there. Hope to go back someday.
Friday night hockey. Nice ice and clean lockers.
This place is 100% The Original!!! You want to visit this wonderful ice rink! It is the birthplace of the ZAMBONI!!! This place set the standard and it’s beautifully well maintained! The staff are friendly and professional! They are very helpful which is great especially for first time skaters. We had a family birthday party and it was a perfect location! The room was clean and ready for use as soon as it was time for our party. We had people in our group that had some experience and others that had never set foot in a skate. We opted to have a basic lesson at the start of our session and it was well worth it! Aveneth was our instructor and she was fabulous with a large group! She was attentive to different levels and was able to assist everyone who needed the help. Her support and encouragement went a long way! The majority of our group can’t wait to skate again and already are thinking about our next outing! Thank you so much for hosting us, Iceland! Pro Tip: If you are going skating or having an event… it’s cold. Brink a hat and gloves if cold weather affects you. Yup, it’s an ice rink! But dress warm and in layers! If you skate, you might warm up so just be prepared.
Nice rink, very clean and some cool history inside . I wish they had a full snack bar.
Very interesting vintage and important to skating history rink. Home of the zamboni yes that zamboni the one that scrapes the ice. Frank Zamboni invented it there. It's a old rink and parking is limited . We drew a early competition slot so for us it was easy however I would think it would be a challenge later in day. Due to being a old rink little hard to see for figure skating due to the glass being worn but neat historic trip and what seems to be a pilgrimage for skaters at the historically significant rink. Also rink was home to Peggy Flemming.

Nature & Parks
Riverfront park featuring walking, jogging & biking paths plus a playground & basketball court.

It's so awesome! So many animals, especially in the spring time, humming birds, butterflies, lizards, cats, dogs, bunnies! Nature is so beautiful! You can meet up with your loved ones and chill or do fun activities! You can also exercise and play sports like soccer づ(っ'-')╮=͟͟͞͞⚽🥅 Just respect the park and others, and you'll be fine 😁🥰
6\2024: the park is not big but it is long, it does run beside the L.A. riverbed. It has a kids play area in the middle but it was under construction. On the north and south side of the park there are open fields to play soccer and in the middle, there is a small soccer court. Along the walk path, there are different exercise equipment, some need some repairs. You can get onto the riverbed walk path from the Somerset (have to walk on the sidewalk), Rosecrans (at the north end of the park there is a gate you climb a steep path), and the is a door in the gate in the middle of the park (have to walk a steep path). There are benches and nice places to sit along the park (be careful you can find broken glass), I only saw 1 restroom on the south end of the park but it does look sketchy. 2017: Fun plece for a walk or jog, a very nice place for the kids to run and play on a playground
A Hidden Gem in the Neighborhood This park near the LA river bike trail is a wonderful spot for families. The recently upgraded playground is a hit with the kids, and the walking trails are peaceful and scenic. We really liked how the exercise equipment is strategically placed along the path to encourage walking, though some of it is a bit old, rusty, or in need of repairs or replacement. There are also informative signs about local bird and animal species, which added a fun and educational touch to our visit. Overall, we had a great time with the kids and will definitely be coming back!
Playground got updated in 2024 and it's really nice. Closest entrance to the playground is off of San Juan St with a little parking lot at the end of the block.
Peace and beauty in this place and you kind of find heaven in middle of busy town. I stop by for lunch which was potatoes and beef shami with salad. I really enjoy my lunch break. Oh by the way before lunch I did my workout with that mashin in the picture attached.
Nice small family park, very well maintained, safe Nice neighborhood, beautiful landscape, nice to just walk 🚶‍♀️ or enjoy time under these beautiful trees 🌳
Came on a Thursday afternoon, it was really hot so there was literally nobody but myself, lol. Looks nice for a little jog or a stroll along the park. It’s very green and the ambiance is very nice, right next to a trail for biking.
i highly recommend this park it feel good just walking around even when weater its hot

1/3/15 was my first visit. it's OK for a small lounge. this place has potential if the bottle service was to improve. restrooms need improvement (toilets were clough up) water was all over the floor. beer prices are over exaggerated. bottle services go up after 10. WHY? the service is the same.
