Such a wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful morning walk. There is a circular trail at the hilltop and a panoramic pathway that walks you down the hilltop. It is also quite accessible. Plenty of large walkways, all paved and with ramps and park benches all around. Though I was by myself, I noticed how truly romantic this morning experience was. Whether you’re taking yourself on a solid date or your partner. So many couples, enjoying the quiet of the morning, looking out over the horizon. I was there to experience sunrise, but this is a perfect place for a date really anytime of day!
Needed to get some steps in and wanted to go to a place with free parking and a nice view. Drove to this park located in Signal Hill on a Saturday afternoon and was a great choice. Parking is limited at the park but street parking on Skyline Drive was easy to find🤙 Well maintained park and perfect for sightseeing the views of Long Beach and Los Angeles on a clear day, lots of nice walking trails for all ages. Perfect for a picnic on the lawn, a great place to get some fresh air and spend some time. 5 stars.
Such a beautiful view of the coast, Long beach, and the rest of LA county. There are bathrooms (although not the cleanest), gazebo covered tables with grills, shade from trees, and a landscaped area to enjoy the view from the cement benches or take a closer look through the 25 cent mounted telescopes. Even on a hot sunny day, the cool ocean breeze feels very nice and refreshing. Definitely a great spot to have a picnic or just take in the fresh air with a breathtaking view.
I had the day off and thought, “Why not do something wholesome?” First, I discovered a gyro so good it could end wars. Then I swung by the Long Beach Airport viewing area to watch planes take off like the budget version of Catch Me If You Can. On the way home, I spotted this hill and decided to check out the view—because nothing says “impulsive life choices” like chasing an elevated mound of dirt. After surviving a gauntlet of stoplights that felt like LA’s version of purgatory, I finally made it. Parking is scarce—mostly street parking—so you’ll need to channel your inner Formula 1 driver to snag a spot. The view? Pretty solid, assuming you enjoy squinting through the official LA haze filter. The park itself is clean, plenty of shade under the trees, and the atmosphere is relaxed… depending on your definition of “relaxed.” Because here’s the thing: Signal Hill is basically the unofficial make-out capital of Southern California. There were more teenagers locking lips than there are pigeons in New York. Forget sunsets—these kids came to tongue wrestle. So, pro tip: if your daughter says her boyfriend is taking her to Signal Hill to “hang out,” she’s not talking about admiring the skyline. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re nearby. The view is free, the breeze is nice, and the people-watching is chef’s kiss. Just be prepared for the occasional background soundtrack of awkward giggles and lip-smacking.
A well kept, clean park with incredible 360° views of the surrounding area; especially downtown LB, the ports and Queen Mary. Great spot for a lunch break with a view! Food truck was there when I went, but there's no guarantees there would always be one.
Nice park high above the rest of the area so you can get a good look at Long Beach, along with areas of the city like the port and even DTLA. There's a parking lot, but also street parking. Security swings by after 10 (and no parking after 10) to let people know to leave, so just keep that in mind if you're trying to head out at night.
Best site to bask under a full moon if that's your thing. Honestly day or night it's a whole vibe but myast trip was definitely to sit with the last super moon of the year and Hilltop did not disappoint. Views of the city are great too. Set out a picnic blanket, bring some food and drink and just relax.
Absolutely stunning views. A great location for lunch with friends.

We got a flight of various IPAs and the bacon pesto pizza. Holy smokes their pizza is amazing! Typically at breweries the food offering is not as good as the beer offering, but this place is on point with both! We will definitely come back and try the other pizzas on the menu and also enjoy the local beer. The service was great, can't say enough about this place.
What a fantastic brewery! 10/10 on the vibes. The staff is incredibly nice, the beer options are great, and that pizza... Amazing. I can't believe it's taken me so long to go here but I can't wait to go back!
Even if you don't drink alcohol this is a spot to try! The pizza is AMAZING 👏 and they make a delicious (nonalcoholic) root beer. We had the bacon pesto and the carbonara pies as well as the garlic knots. The dough is fluffy and light, airy, pillowy, sweet. The mozzarella that they use should be a standard for all pizza's. I loved the peas on the carbonara 'za . They added a lovely sweetness and pop. The only thing that can get better is if they had some type spicy condiment to drizzle into the pizza or dip the crusts in.
We used to be loyal customers, coming here almost every week and spending a lot of money, but after our last visit we were extremely disappointed. The staff told us we couldn’t bring in outside food — which would be understandable, except their own kitchen was closed for renovations and even the air fryer was broken. So after we had already ordered and paid for our beers, there was absolutely nothing to eat. It makes no sense to forbid outside food when you can’t provide any yourself. Very poor customer service, and a strange way to treat regulars who supported this place week after week.
This is a tremendous brewery that has terrific beers and great food trucks all the time. I always go there and pick up a four pack of Trail Marker IPA's and grab some grub while I'm at it. The food truck on Fridays is Batambong BBQ and it is incredible. I got the brisket and Cambodian sausage and I was in heaven.
The pepperoni pizza has this cool sweet almost churro taste! So good! Fun spot. Dog friendly patio. Tasty beer!
Ten Mile is a great brewery for a chill night. That's simply the vibe I got. They have a small menu if you get hungry too. I do miss when they had less IPAs but the beers are good either way. also have rotating food vendors for events
It's a curse and a blessing to have this place so close to work. The beers here are ridiculously good. I ended up getting a flight of beers to get a taste of what they had to offer ranging from a Rye IPA, standard IPA, Milk Stout, and a Kentucky Common which tastes like an ALE made in the pre-prohibition style. I have no idea what that means, but it's tastes great! There was a good malt taste to the beers, if you're in to that sort of thing, with a hop finish on the IPA's. The tasters are not your regular size taster glasses either, they look to be about 6oz vs the 4 or 5 oz ones that I'm used to. More bang for your $10 bucks! Inside this place is bench style seating with about 5-6 picnic style benches, plenty of bar room with high chairs and a lounge couch in the front that I really had a hard time getting off of because it was some damn comfy and plush. This place pays so much attention to detail it's amazing. Tonight they had the Shady Grove Food Co. For dinner and although they only had two items for diner, the items we're decently prepared. If you don't come by this place you will surely be missing out.

Just completed the Hokkaido Japan tour with Motoquest. This was my fifth time riding with them in various countries. They continue to set the standard for quality of equipment, logistics, safety and local knowledge of each of their venues. They always put the customer first with a down-to-earth positive attitude. It was a fun tour all around with great riding, exposure to a different culture and the opportunity to see a beautiful part of the world that would otherwise have remained hidden to me. Highly recommended!
I’ve done 3 tours with Motoquest and rented 5 times too. Great staff at all 3 locations I’ve been to and on the tours the guides were well organised and kept things interesting. Their bikes are well prepared and I’ve never had any issues with any of them I’ve had. I’ll definitely deal with them again.
My son and I rented Vstrom’s for a four day ride around SoCal and into Baja. The Motoquest staff was a pleasure to work with and the bikes were very well equipped and maintained. Great way for us to get out of the snow and explore an awesome part of the world. Highly recommend Motoquest!
We rented two BMW F750GS from L.A. to Anchorage. It has been a great experience and we've been extremely satisfied from the kindness, availability and professionalism of Motoquest Team. The bikes were in perfect conditions and we rode them without any problem for little less than 5.000 Miles.
MotoQuest was my first experience with renting a motorcycle. They will likely be the only company I will ever rent from (especially after researching some others). My first rental was a Suzuki 650 V-Strom in Sept 2016 and was a pickup in Anchorage, AK with a drop-off in Long Beach, CA, 4,280 miles later. My second rental in March 2017, was a pick-up and drop-off in Long Beach, CA on another V-Strom after riding 2,990 miles around the southwest USA. I've been to their Anchorage, Portland (I had a little tune-up performed on the ANC-LGB trip when a friend was dropping off his bike), and Long Beach locations. Jason, Robyn, Adam, and Anthony have all been stellar to work with. (I've never met Kelly in-person, but she has been super-helpful via email and phone calls.) What's the best part about MotoQuest? The employees and their attitudes! They let you RIDE their motorcycles. So many other rental companies forbid off-pavement riding. (What's the point of a dual-sport bike then?) Each employee I came across gets it. They ride too. (Robyn was especially helpful in giving me ideas of rad places to ride in SoCal for my last rental.) My next rental is already scheduled for May 2017: a BMW 1200 from Long Beach to Portland via AZ, NM, CO, UT, WY, MT, and ID. The adventures continue!
MotoQuest supplied us with 10 motorcycles over 2 weeks tour in California. All of us had no faults or problems in clocking up over 2000miles. Staff are very friendly and helpful, without a doubt I would recommend this company to anyone looking for people who can deliver a excellent service. I would like to finish in thanking all MotoQuest staff for a fantastic experience. Hope to see you again, Paul Evans. United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Couldn't be happier with the experience. The entire staff knows what they are doing and are committed to ensuring a good time. I have gone on Northern Lights and Baja Backroads. If you bookmarked this and are wondering whether it is worth the time and money... IT IS. Just book the trip!
I am SO glad I found MotoQuest! I've ridden motorcycles in SoCal a whole ton. I've also rented from Eagle Rider many times. They don't rent anything other than Harleys as big bikes anymore, they're always swamped and you're just a number, and who wants to ride a Harley through the mountains and twisties in California? Not a motorcyclist. The booking process at MotoQuest was a little different. It was more intimate. They were definitely expecting me when I arrived to pick up the bike. I wasn't dealing with a huge shop with a zillion other things distracting the person renting me the bike. The bike was fabulous on arrival and they even made a ride recommendation to one I'd never been on that turned out FABULOUS! (33 North out of Ojai). If you're a real motorcyclist you'll appreciate these guys. Definitely do business with them.

nice spot if u want a local driving range, ask for Adam he's very helpful
Nice place to practice, but this place is sinking fast! Range wasn't crowded but majority of the stalls were out of order. After waiting half an hr. for a stall, the one I was assigned had a tee system malfunction. The staff wasn't helpful at all, the putting green was a mess. Hopefully improvements are on the way.
The range is pretty old, and I have to switch 3 lanes to get a properly functional one. During the process, I got my 110 ball balance swapped to 70 balls. The office promised to give me free golf balls after my 70 ball balance is used. But they never honored the promise. Instead, they just assigned another dude right after my 70 ball balance is over. Seems like a FU to me, that is not right.
Husband and I have come here for years and will continue to do so. Prices are great and staff is always extremely friendly and will to help with any problems. Neither of us have taken lessons here, but we have witnessed them, and they are so attentive to the person. 5 stars for sure!
OK place to practice your swing fundamentals, but balls are substandard to rate distance hit. Nice available short game area near the parking area, and will never be as crowded as a course range because you are there only to practice, not to play.
I come here because it's closest to my house but this will probably be my last visit. It's an automated teeing system and unfortunately it malfunctions every time I come. It doesn't matter which hitting bay I choose. Dominguez Hills had the same system for years and I never had a problem there. The owners need to either replace the system or get rid of it.
Long Beach golf driving range. Up to date system and friendly atmosphere. Encourages bringing the kids out for their first golf experience. Large parking lot. No rental or loaner clubs.
Great place to go hit balls. Field is a little run down but always fun. Cheap prices for ball buckets too!
