EddieWorld is a must-stop on the 15. We pulled in for gas and were impressed by the spacious, clean fueling area. Inside, it’s like a candy lover’s paradise with aisles upon aisles of treats organized by type: gummies, chocolates, salty snacks, and more. The selection is overwhelming in the best way. We grabbed chicken fingers and a cheeseburger from their kitchen, and both were surprisingly delicious. Definitely better than your typical road trip meal. We didn’t try the ice cream or other food this time, but it looked great. The place is fun and clean with a quirky vibe that makes it feel more like a roadside attraction than just a gas station. Prices are definitely on the higher side, so be prepared to spend a little extra. Still, it’s worth it for the experience. Great pit stop between LA and Vegas, especially if you’re traveling with kids or want to treat yourself.
This is my second visit to the location. We got there an hour before closing so almost everything was closed. The lights were down so not quite the full experience from the first time they have everything you could possibly need if everything was open, we could’ve gotten some ice cream some jerky And other little treats we were able to get some sodas and a couple of snacks for the road everything is extremely overpriced and the people working there did not have great customer service seven out of 10. Recommend a cool experience in the bathrooms or semi clean.
This is a fun place to stop by. The inside is bigger than it looks and they sell all sorts of candies and chocolates. You can even order food and the cafeteria is pretty big too. There's slush and ice cream and nuts as well. The Eddie World ice cream sculpture is fun to look at.
This Eddie World is just off the I-15, Exit 194 in Yermo. This place is a one-stop travel center for all your needs while traveling the highways of America. Here you will find several charging stations including a Tesla Supercharger, and numerous covered gas pump stations. Inside, there is a large convenience store, Jed’s Jerky, Fresh Gourmet Foods (their words not ours), ice cream shop, drink station, dining area, Peet’s Coffee and restrooms. And yes, plenty of those strange tourist trap souvenir trinkets. The prices for everything here from gas to food are what you would expect to pay in places like this, so get out the old credit card, you will need it.
Wow this place is amazing. Loved all the variety of candy, trail mixes, beef Jerry, drinks, etc. They have it all.
This place is insane! Haha I've passed by it many times and finally decided to stop. We spent over an hour here lol. The have so much fun/unique treats from all over the world and offer tons of fresh/homemade food, ice cream, caramel popcorn, etc
On my way back from California and I have seen this place before on a trip in the past but never have been able to stop in. The ambience gives New Age candy store…. There is a coffee shop stall, beef jerky stall, pretzel stall, pizza stall… overall food court!! Unfortunately there are different hours that each stall opens. Between 7-10am. As far as the service goes, there was only one cashier and she was counting her drawer when I tried to check out, so there was a way and she could have been a little friendlier. Overall, the experience was average. I do think the treats are over price and I did expect a little more if you’re in the area give it a try if you’d like.
I mean... it's okay I think the lower gas price was $4.40/gal (July 7th '25) and I didn't see it posted, we looked at the he pump. That's about par for where I was coming from but it was under $4 in a lot of suburbs in Vegas that same day so I would recommend fueling up in the Vegas suburbs if you coming out of Vegas heading west. They had a ton of candy, a lot of which I think of as nostalgic. The bags that were most of their offerings are around $8-$12. they do have nuts and dried fruit on the left and tons of stuffed animals. Bathroom had a wait but maybe only 5 min for women's. Checkout line did get kind of crazy long while we were there.

Treat your dog here after a long hike through the town. A must place to take your canine friend. From dog clothes to dog treats this place has it all. The prices are all acceptable. Ask them about the story about why it's called Dorsey's Dog House.
On a trip to Calico Ghost town we discovered Dorsey's Dog House and it has been life changing for our 15 year old Boston Terrier. After talking to Pattie Mae who works there about problems that our Boston was having with arthritis and nervousness, she suggested that we try Suzie's CBD oil and I'm completely serious when I say, it has been life changing for our Boston Terrier. Our veterinarian said that she has some of the worst arthritis that he has ever seen and prescribed pain medication and an anti inflammatory medication for her. The medication left her tired and she lost her sweet playfulness. We decided to try the CBD oil and it has been incredible! She feels so much better and we have stopped all prescription medications. She has a quality of life that we didn't think was possible for her at her age. They also have a fabulous selection of treats and goodies that our animals LOVE! Their hand decorated cookies are so cute and our dogs think that they are pretty awesome! They seriously can't seem to get enough of them. They also have different flavored cookies that you can choose and bag yourself, ours love the carob and peanut butter. I think Dorsey's Dog House is the best shop in all of Calico and our animals completely agree!
Amy did a great job for us! Our first time to Calico Ghost town. This town is 100% dog friendly! Dorsey’s is awesome! We were greeted outside by Amy. She invited us and our 14 year old, near blind Bassett hound inside. We left with fresh treats, CBD oil, and booties. Great selection of all things dog!! We are just passing through but will reference this store to our friends and others traveling near Yermo/Barstow, and suggest a stop at Calico.
We enjoyed our visit to Calico Ghost Town even though we had to pay to get in and most of the shops and buildings were closed. We were excited to visit this shop and planned on buying treats for our pets, but ended up walking out because the woman running the shop at that time proceeded to lecture us on what was wrong with America today and the children and millennials of America. We did not go there to hear all that and ended up walking out empty handed. While we respect the fact that she is allowed her opinions, we did not voice ours and didn’t feel that was neither the time or place.
Looks like Dorsey's Dog House has relocated and now can be found in town. Come down and check it out for all your doggie needs.
We saw there was a cute dog store so we headed out to it! But found out it's 8 dollars per person (so 16 dollars) just get into the town that this dog store is at. We did not go in.
Kodi loved this place and the cookies he got 🐾 a joyful experience for both of us 🙏
Lots of snacks for dogs, and things you maybe need wile in the town.
