Beautiful gardens. Little surprises and curiosities hidden all over the place. The sculptures are interesting and fun to contemplate. The best part for me was having lunch at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service amazing. It was probably one of the best meals we had on our vacation. Will definitely be back.
Kingsbrae Garden is absolutely stunning and so beautifully maintained. Everything possible is done to keep the gardens in perfect condition, and you can truly see the dedication and effort put into managing it so well. It’s a wonderful place to visit, relax, and enjoy nature’s beauty. One small recommendation would be to consider slightly reducing the entry fee, though we completely understand the expenses involved in maintaining such a high standard. Overall, an excellent experience and definitely worth a visit!
Amazing amazing amazing 😍. Such gorgeous work. The compilation of plants thru the garden design is incredible that each garden is perfect at each point in the season. Clean and it's so large! You can be lost for hours. Love their monarch breeding program!!
I wish I had visited a month earlier when there were more flowers in bloom, but the ones that were there were amazing! So many bees! The sculptures were beautiful! Very friendly staff greeted us. I’d love to go back someday.
Worth the stop, Spent a little over 2 hours walking around the garden and I could have spent more time. Beautifuly taken care of. Staff is very nice and fun to chat with. We almost met Blue the peacock and missed him by not much but we could hear him quack throughout the garden. The flower displays were awesome, Could recognize a lot of native plants and planted ones.
What an incredible & beautiful garden to see. A restaurant that has great tasting food & very affordable. Benches available to sit if needed when you need it & many bees enjoying the pollen from all the beautiful flowers & don't bother with you. Can see whole garden in under 2hrs. Also has a animal section for the kids. Trail option available too for those who can. We did not take the trail. Looking forward to see it again next year.
The gardens are spectacular! They even have a few animals present on the grounds to help with trimming the grass. Groundskeepers and garden staff are really hard warming and could be seen frequently. They really care about their garden! Nice gift shop, but the restaurant doesn't measure up ( inexperienced servers and a slow, poorly resourced kitchen)
Stunning facility. One of our party had had a hip replacement, so we got a guided tour in a golf cart with one of the grounds workers. It is a fascinating park, and I wish we could have spent more time there. Every year they change the displays. A beautiful facility with a very reasonable admissions price.

We all loved this place! The whole family, little ones and adults. The lobsters were crazy huge! Haven't seen them that big since I was a kid myself. The staff were pretty helpful and engaging with the touch tank. The star was definitely the leopard(i think) seal swimming and splashing. A great learning experience for kids to be engaged. Made a great school field trip for us.
Little aquarium on two levels. The tanks are big and hosts different species in each tank. They also have seals and we were lucky enough to enter at the same time they were feeding the seals. Kids enjoyed a lot. Very good place for them to run around and explore. Also have a small park area outside of the building. Enough parking space and has washroom on the ground level.
Huntsman Marine Science Centre is a fantastic place to visit! The exhibits are well presented, engaging, and very informative. A special thanks to the staff, who are always so friendly and happy to explain everything in detail, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. Highly recommended for families, students, and anyone interested in marine life!
Cute little aquarium with open water exhibits, seal feeding, rare lobsters (blue, split, and orange) and more. Great learning opportunity.
Pretty good little aquarium for a small town. My family, especially my 3 yr old, had a BLAST!! Favourite parts, of course, were the touch pools and seeing Snorkel the seal.😍 Wish we could have seen the seal talk program, alas we were too late for the first and too early for the second. 🤣🤷‍♀️ Would definitely recommend this place if you're visiting St Andrews and surrounding area....especially if you have kids.
We dropped in to have a look see!! Wow, nice spot and kids would love it!! There is a touch tank there that you can pick up and hold crabs 🦀, starfish, and some different shellfish. The live animals are breathtaking. Salmon, seahorse, lobsters, other species of different fish, crustaceans, and the seals!! Well worth a trip for the family!!
Cute aquarium. They had 2 touching pools, where you can hold starfish and crabs. They also had lots of small tanks to look at and seals.l I got my tickets online, and it holds your spot all day.
Well, let me tell you, this place was a major letdown. The so-called "new" touch tank they have now is a measly 2x5 ft, and they only have star fish, crabs, and clams. Talk about a downgrade! The old touch tank area is practically empty. The whole point of the place was the big touch tank, so with it gone it lost all the excitement. Apparently, they made the change after Covid to interact more with guests and keep the animals safe. But seriously, were they not concerned before? Also, there was no seal anymore cause it never showed the whole time we were there. I spent a whopping half hour there, and let me tell you, it was boring. Definitely not worth the drive. Save your money and skip this place. Trust me, it's a big disappointment, especially for the kids. The first picture is the “new” touch tank. The 2nd and 3rd picture show the old tank, and it's clear that they had almost nothing there.

Seaside park and picnic area, sparkling ocean vista, quiet and beautiful, a few children playing, lawns, trees and gardens. Sweet area to enjoy a short walk from the marvelous shops in St Andrews. Say AHHHHHH!
Saint Andrew’s on a holiday weekend was very ‘peoply’. Somehow we didn’t expect that. Having a chance to sit by the water on the property the Blockhouse occupies was a great place to enjoy the sights and sounds of the waterfront without too many people. There were many families that arrived as the night came to a close and every family arrived with blankets to sit on. We got lucky and had the opportunity to enjoy a fireworks display that had been previously rescheduled to the day we just happened to be visiting. It’s a lovely spot to let kids play, unwind with a book or a picnic and just enjoy being in Saint Andrew’s yet feeling as though you are miles away.
The Block House Park in St Andrews by the Sea is a remarkable destination that beautifully showcases the area's rich history. Walking through this park, you can’t help but appreciate the historical significance of the site, which adds a unique layer to your visit. The park is well-maintained, with lovely walking paths and stunning views that invite you to explore. It’s a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic, surrounded by the charm of historical architecture. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful retreat, The Block House Park offers something for everyone. It’s a five-star experience that combines nature and history in the most delightful way!
Gorgeous, low key spot. As an American, it's always fun to get the perspective of the opposition during the War of 1812.
Just a nice blockhouse. Not very exciting But good descriptions of function and war v. USA in 1812 especially relevant with Maine visible across the bay 🤷‍♂️
This blockhouse was built during the War of 1812. It is a National Historic Site. You can't go inside but it is still an interesting part of Canada's military Heritage.
Very interesting site, with a fascinating history, ably explained by a young docent. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made what would otherwise have been a very brief visit intriguing and worthwhile!
It's a nice site to take your pictures once. Block House was just that, a wooden structure but nothing else to see or do.

A pleasant surprise for the curious and interested. Firstly, our tour guide on Saturday morning was wonderful. Very informative, knew everything and was very friendly. Next, there were many tales to be heard and sights to be seen within the walls of the old court house and jail which were used surprisingly up until somewhat modern times. Much more to learn about than we had anticipated. My wife and I highly recommend this for those of you who are curious about history and learning something new. Entrance is by donation for the tour and I recommend giving them a fair amount for the area, $10-$20/person for such a tour.
Love this tour! Very much worth the stop! You might even meet Thomas the ghost!
Used to be the County court house until 2016. Now a historical site and tourist attraction.
The tour of the Old Gaol is a worthwhile experience. It is especially fascinating to note that it was in use until the 1970s. Free (but donations are welcome).
The Ghost Walks of St. Andrews! Must go! Best $10 entertainment! True Stories Told!!!
We loved our tour of the archives. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Wonderful experince for the whole family! Guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much history of the place. Old jail was a treat! We highly recommend visiting this place to those who are interested in history.
This is an interesting side stop, if you are in the area and have the time. The archives building next to the county court house was a 5 star jail. More likely a 5 star hell hole. It is about a 5 minute stop.

The staff there are REALLY nice!
My daughter and I absolutely love this library. The staff are amazing, it's clean but still very child friendly and the amount of events and programs they have are amazing. A definite gem in our home town of St.Andrews!
Very helpful staff

This is a great spot to skip stones. A lot of the stones are flat. The lighthouse is nice with nice views of the ocean.
Love the spot. Lighthouse over looks a small beach with stairs leading to it. 2 wooden benches to sit n enjoy the scenery.
Lovely little spot that is easily accessed and has a couple stairs leading down to a rocky/sandstone beach. Plenty of sea glass, various types of shells, and a handful of sea life (jellyfish, crabs, sea fowel). The view is beautiful from here out towards the bay that you can watch boats from. It's not a massive attraction, but it was maintained and my family enjoyed the area for a few hours hunting for all the above things. Worth a visit if you're in the area anyways for St Andrew's, NB.
Tip of St Andrews, blue sky day, perfect for watching boats and shore-walkers at low tide.
This place was opened 4 years ago. And had a very unique desgin. You must try when you visit St- Andrew’s
Pretty place that is easy to access It is at the end of a residential street so be mindful when going.
This lighthouse has easy access and very little parking. It said it was open year round yet when we got there the door was locked. There is no cost that we paid as we just walked around it and left. It does give you a nice look at Saint Andrews harbour for pictures.
The place appears to be under renovation for some time but has a zone around it which is nice for a lookout, seeing sunset and seeing all the ships entering into Saint Andrews. Probably placed here strategically to guide the ships back in shore, but only seems to hold as a architecture and no function currently.

Cindy, Norma, and Emma did a great job! My wife and I were even served tea, ice tea, cookies, fudge, and cheesecake! The house was super interesting too. Sorry I insulted your deer 🫠
An immersive tour of the past accompanied by friendly, passionate and fascinating guides! It's wonderful to see an environment with so many dates, so well preserved. A huge thank you to you three ladies, you are the heart of this visit. Keep up the good work!
Norma our tour guide was soooo awesome!! She was super knowledgeable and friendly! I loved trying on a costume! So much fun! It’s a true gem in St. Andrew’s! The cookie we got at the end was so yummy! Hope we can make it for tea later on!
What an amazing place. Living history at its best. A “must see” when you are in St Andrews. Our tour guides Cindy and Norma were both very knowledgeable and engaging. We took part in the afternoon tea service and loved the friendly camaraderie as much as the delicious home baked cake and cookies. Five stars !!
One of the most welcoming museums I’ve ever visited. There were four of us with friends, and we were treated to incredibly delicious cookies made from an 1820s recipe, and even got to take part in a tea ceremony. Thank you for the wonderful atmosphere and warm hospitality.
Yes, the house is gorgeous and beautifully set up, but I want to give major kudos to Cindy. From the moment we walked in she made our visit full of warmth, laughter, and most of all, knowledge. She is an absolute treasure. Thank you so much to the town of Saint Andrew for letting us learn more history in such an engaging way.
Loved my visit here. Norma and the lady who does the baking and tea were a delight to talk to. Loved the tour and the original kitchen in the basement is amazing. Highly recommend.
The ladies at Sheriff Andrews House are amazing, knowledgable, and kind. We enjoyed them so much that we returned for tea time and more of the home made goodies. Thank you ladies. We highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Spectacular and fascinating. My wife and I visited on Friday and were pleasantly surprised. We didn't do much research beforehand and thought it was closed initially. However, we went along the fence posts and arrived to the main entrance which is at the back of the house. We met the owner and their gentle dog and were pleased to have a personal guided tour as well. This made the experience as it was detailed enough for you to then walk around again everywhere and really take in the perfectly preserved collections of toys and art and immaculate architecture and classic cars straight out of a 1960s movie set in the countryside somewhere in the UK. You can even head out the front of the house and are treated to even more to see. A variety of plants, ponds, a greenhouse another building and the namesakes grave which was a beautifully manicured remembrance of a family with an incredible life and world of knowledge. The upstairs will be a pleasant addition adding even more to this already packed stroll around the grounds.
We had a great afternoon. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and told the story of this home so wonderfully. We learned so much, enjoyed the amazing art and architecture, and got to see some old cars. If you’re in St. Andrews this is a must see!
Really enjoyed touring this beautiful mansion, home of the Dunn family as well as the gallery of Joseph Oppenheimer and Eva Prager. Will gladly return to see it again if they open up the second floor, eventually. Strongly recommend going, even if art isn't your thing (it isn't for me, but the history of the building and of the artists is fascinating on their own)!! 👍 👍 Thanks to Mr. Vincent Prager for his work to create that museum and preserve the collection, the house and the cars! We really enjoyed meeting him in person. 😊
The owner Vincent was really nice, so was the staff. They had many stories of the house and the art, which was appreciated. The house itself is beautiful, and the history it contains is way more impactful than anticipated. There was an air of peace and tranquility that was soothing. I recommend it for your next trip in Saint-Andrews!
Wonderful collection of art housed in a lovely elegant home. Guides are knowledgeable and friendly, and you may even meet the artists' son/grandson who manages the collection.
What a wonderful surprise to find in beautiful St. Andrew’s By The Sea. Wonderful piece of Canadian history and art. My husband and I had a tour with a women who was the museum archivist. So enjoyable to tour it with someone who has so much love, passion and knowledge . Well worth visiting.
We were very intrigued by this home, its history and place in the community now and in the future. We were very impressed by the personalized, custom tour provided and left after having stayed for about two hours and 200 questions disappointed that we could not purchase a book that tells the story of the house and its former occupants. I don’t collect tshirts or keychains on my travels, I like to bring home a book that will not only recap what I learned during my visit but will help me learn even more details there just wasn’t enough time to cover. I would have also loved if there were postcards, note cards or small pictures of the lovely artwork enjoyed throughout the house. There is so much this property has to offer and that would be of interest to so many … from the many stories, use of space, collection of toys, the incredible paintings, the cars outside, the landscaping (what it once was, and what it is now today), the construction and additions to this home… and so much more. But… without the ability to take pictures inside the home and share them on social media I feel it is a missed opportunity. It’s a missed opportunity for the owner and the public. So many people could come and enjoy this property but instead it is like a well kept secret. I do hope one day soon there will be a book published to tell the story of this grand home… and when there is I will buy it!
We really enjoyed the art collection and the beautiful home. It was like going back in time and discovering the lives of Mr. Oppenheimer, Mrs. Prager and Lady Beaverbrook. We enjoyed the car collection too and the garden.

Amazing place I love it. Clean and cheaper then other place.
Great tournament hosts for the Andrew Bartlett Memorial Hockey Tournament.
Nice public arena for the residents of Saint Andrews.
We had a great time at a family skate for a toonie each. Had the place to ourselves!
Large complex with facilities for both curling and hockey. Canteen, elevator, ballroom. Very cold, limited spectator seating and parking.
Skating, curling, and hockey. Well kept but older facilities. There is a small live theatre attached. They do sell concessions at a reasonable price.
Although it is starting to show it's age, the place is a great multi-purpose space. With conference space, theater, and ice for skating and curling. Something for everyone

This was an amazing place to play and explore the kids were not the only ones having fun. We went in the pouring rain but we're determined to make it enjoyable and we had this beautiful spot all to ourselves, even had a baby deer come say hello.

The Algonquin Resort in St Andrews New Brunswick is the most Scenic, beautiful place in this part of the world. The staff is friendly, the rooms are extremely clean and nice, and the views are spectacular. A great place for all ages and for any occasion.
Tons of fun and imaginative play. Great for all ages. Only complaint is all of the solid walls. I'm a little anxious and nervous when I can't see my kid for long periods of time (downsides of living in big cities with creepy weirdos). Thankfully this little town seems to be very family friendly, and safe. Huge thanks to some of the big kids who played here earlier this week who were great sports and played with my 3 year old.😅❤️
Wow, is all I can say. We stopped here because we had some extra time in St. Andrew's, and it turned out to be a highlight! Our 5yo had a blast exploring this playground, and every inch of it is engineered to have a different activity! There's so much to do, try and explore - it's wonderful!
Excellent playground for all ages. It's very big and has lots of places for the kids to hide while playing hide-and-go-seek or tag. It has different musical instruments too. There are wood chips on the ground under most of it and there's a section with recycled rubber for a different texture/feel when walking/running and playing. Wheelchair accessable ramp to some of the playground. Dogs are not allowed inside the playground area.
This park is AWESOME! The best park in New Brunswick. Accessible on one side, lots of nooks and crannies to hide and adventure in, interactive features. It's big enough that you easily can lose sight of little ones if you aren't paying attention. It is in a closed in lot with only a small parking lot. Close to the waterfront, the Algonquin, kingsbrae. I highly recommend making a stop, you won't regret it!
If you have elementary school age kids, this is a must stop. This is a large and complex play area, with nearby picnic tables. There is no washroom available so make sure you know where the washroom is next to the town hall. The playground is wheelchair accessible. There is parking available in the school parking lot.
