Resurgo Place

Museum
Specialty Museums
Resurgo Place is a spacious complex in Moncton that houses the Moncton Museum, the Transportation Discovery Centre, and a visitor center. It's an ideal destination for exploring science and the history of Moncton. The museum features interactive exhibits focused on transportation, showcasing Moncton's past as a rail and shipbuilding hub. Visitors can engage in hands-on activities such as testing aircraft in a wind tunnel, building small boats, and learning about gears and pulleys.
There was a bee exhibit on display, a Map of the city with interesting facts showing up on the screen of the taxi-like stroller once it moves over certain spots, a creative room for kids which had painting area and a small play arena, history of transportation, military, media and others in New Brunswick. There were interactive displays to help throw more light on some particular display, friendly staff and clean restrooms. I am glad I went after two years of always driving by it 🙈
Matilda O — Google review
Excellent place to learn about Moncton history. Displays are very informative and staff very knowledgeable to add more to your experience. The interactive displays are fantastic to engage children.
Gerald H — Google review
This is a fabulous museum. The first floor is full of interactive activities and arts and crafts for children. The staff were very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. A special shout out to guide Sadie who spent time with my kids !
Dolores E — Google review
An informative and fun experience to get to know more about local history. The staff at the front desk and staff throughout the museum were very nice and patient explaining everything to us. Lots of interactive activities too.
André S — Google review
Serge was fantastic — the best museum guide we’ve ever had! You can tell he truly loves what he does. Thank you so much for giving my family and me such an enjoyable experience. Thanks, Sergio, for your engaging talk! Also, many thanks to the reception staff — everyone at the museum was so kind and welcoming.
Alicia O — Google review
First I enjoyed the ground floor part which is more kid oriented but with the right state of mind an adult can have lots of fun, too. The second floor is a classic historical museum with nice objects. I especially liked the china used in railway travel and some of the clothes like for curling and ice hockey. I talked to a staff member and she was really welcoming. The person at the reception was standard, polite but not as warm as the other person. It's always nice when you are warmly welcomed. Am added plus.
Susa B — Google review
Was surprisingly super fun and interesting. Big room with interactive stations on all different transportation methods in NB in history. Very fun for kids. Good for history buffs, lots of old objects and clothing and their description. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Marieve T — Google review
A great museum to visit if you have some extra time. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We started with a tour of the non-denominational place of worship by Sadie who was really engaging and informative. It was a great way to start the visit. Once inside the staff were ever so helpful and approachable. Whenever we had a question, Ahmed (interpreter/docent) would look into finding an answer if he didn’t know it off the top of his head). Upstairs, Ethan introduced himself and let us know he was also available to answer any questions. Overall it took around 1.5-2 hours to visit the museum, but we took our time reading as much as we could. There was even space for younger kids to enjoy. This is a great spot if you’re looking to kill a bit of time and learn something in the process.

Tidal Bore Viewing

Mentioned on

Experience the natural wonder of Tidal Bore Viewing in New Brunswick, Canada, where the Petitcodiac River near Moncton and Riverview showcases a unique phenomenon. The surging waters from the Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides, create a mesmerizing display as they rush upriver twice daily during changing tides. For an optimal viewing experience, visit Tidal Bore Park in Downtown Moncton to witness this awe-inspiring event.
Watching the tidal bore was such a cool experience! Seeing the wave roll in with that much power was amazing. It’s wild how nature works like that. The whole vibe water rushing in, people watching in awe made it a very cool experience. Definitely worth checking out if you get the chance!
Adriano — Google review
Cool spot! Bought some green next store and enjoyed it while looking at the river
Kyle P — Google review
The bore itself is highly variable and most days it's not very big, but still it is a unique ocean phenomenon worth checking out. Nice viewing deck right on the river, free parking, near food.
Richard I — Google review
Wow! An insane amount of ice cream, and you can't go wrong with Chapman's ice cream. Reasonably priced for the amount you get. One scoop - The L'il Prince - was almost too much, and if you get the King size, it's 4 scoops. If you like ice cream, you gotta stop here when in Riverview.
Doug B — Google review
An amazing moment to remember. Nice trail to walk along while waiting. Make sure to check the bore website for schedule and arrive early.
Eric — Google review
It was just magical to watch the tide coming in
ARUN K — Google review
Stunning boardwalk views to enjoy the low and high tides. Would recommend this spot to sit and enjoy

Wineries & Vineyards
Magnetic Hill Winery is a charming country-style B&B located on the grounds of a beautifully restored property from 1867. Situated near Magnetic Hill, it offers stunning views of the vineyard and is adjacent to the USVA Spa. The winery, lovingly restored by owners Jeff and Janet Everett, hosts weddings, events, and complimentary wine tastings.
This was my second visit to Magnetic Hill Winery, and I found myself once again immersed in a truly enjoyable experience. This time, like before, the tour was a perfect blend of education and entertainment, with our guide weaving captivating stories about the wines, labels, and the estate. The tastings, as they were during my previous visit, were thoughtfully curated to cater to our group's diverse tastes, enhancing the enjoyment of every sip. Following the tour, we got to enjoy the outside deck to relish more wine and charcuterie against the backdrop of a beautiful view. Another unforgettable outing filled with delicious wines, engaging stories, and great times! I would highly recommend Magnetic Hill Winery for any group outing!
Leah S — Google review
My mom, boyfriend, and I visited this gorgeous winery all the way from Philly and New York. We enjoyed the selection of wines and the server was kind and attentive. I thought it was pretty affordable as we got wine flights with the base price instead of selecting wine samples with an up charge. I enjoyed all the fruity wines I tried. The charcuterie board was perfect to share between me and my mom. Great views, great service, we would definitely recommend it!
Janelle H — Google review
Went to the winery with my wife for a wine tasting. Impressive building with lots of glass and a tremendous view looking out over the valley. The staff were very accommodating and service was very good. The wine was great. We purchased a half dozen bottles. First time there. Would love to go back.
Jack S — Google review
Beautiful building including a multi level patio that offers a stunning view. The charcuterie board was good. Wine flight and spritz flight were good. Pricing on these 2 items are hefty though. Spritz flights for 35$ was excessive. The wine flight consist of 4x 2oz pours for 15$, but most of the wines have extra +5$ each, so the flight end up at 35$ for a total of 8oz, it's high!
Max C — Google review
Great place to visit in Moncton area. Good service and atmosphere , reasonable prices. Also, nearby nice zoo and summer time, aquatic park. Recommended.
Vitaliy A — Google review
This winery was the redeeming part of our visit to the magnetic hill "illusion" (which was a tourist trap!). The estate is beautiful, they have adequate parking for a camper van as well. The views from the tasting room was breathtaking showcasing rows of vines growing. There is outdoor and indoor seating - outdoor was a bit windy given how high the property sat on the hillside. I was pleasantly surprised with their wines! This was my first time trying NB wines (coming from Ontario). They do have charcuterie boards (including a vegan one!). We purched 5 bottles to take home. Service was friendly. The redient pup did come quickly to say hello, but left swiftly.
Jennifer S — Google review
Such a wonderful experience at this lovely winery! Our tour was quick but fun and informative. The tastings were great with a lovely view of the city and service was absolutely phenomenal!
Rachelle R — Google review
We stopped in for a tour, dinner and some wine after the spa and would highly recommend it. Beutiful property, friendly informed staff and unique tasty wines to try. Cab ride into the city was only $17 so no worry about driving.

Outdoor Activities
Nestled just 15 minutes outside Moncton, the Magnetic Hill Zoo is a top attraction in the area. Boasting over 600 indigenous and exotic animals from around 80 different species, this zoo offers an impressive collection of wildlife. From Amur tigers and lions to zebras, Gibbon apes, lemurs, and more, visitors can explore diverse habitats designed for the comfort of the animals.
This is a great little zoo. It had a wide variety of wildlife in nice enclosures. It was the first zoo where we could easily see TWO black Panthers playing and interacting with each other. It was just the right size where you can see everything in a day.
Vincent S — Google review
Zoo located inside the Magnetic Hill area amongst other attractions. It’s a pretty decent size zoo with lots to see for the family. Prices max at $19 for adults up to 59 and then go down in price for seniors and lower age groups. We spent just about 3 hours here and were able to see mostly everything from the lions, tigers to monkeys and lemurs. Animals looked healthy and happy for the most part. On a hot day bring a bottle of water (see further down about the water filling station). Didn’t see any signs about no outside food allowed so bring along some snacks if you like but they do have food and drinks you can purchase. Vending machines also scattered around the park but some seemed to be out of order. Ray’s Tips: Plan to spend 3-4 hours if you want to see everything at a leisurely pace. Remember to stay hydrated on a hot day. Inside the shop that sells Beaver Tails there’s a water bottle fountain next to the bathrooms.
Ray D — Google review
Magnetic Hill Zoo is a fantastic destination for families and visitors of all ages. The variety of animals from Africa, Asia, and North America makes the experience both educational and enjoyable. The grounds are well-organized, and maps provided throughout the zoo make it easy to navigate. Advance ticketing is very convenient, helping to avoid long wait times during busy seasons. Parking is readily available and accessible, adding to the overall ease of visiting. My kids truly enjoyed our visit, especially seeing the animals up close, which made the day even more memorable. The zoo is well-maintained, with clean facilities, friendly staff, and enclosures that show great care for the animals. A highly recommended place for both learning and leisure.
Nort — Google review
This was an excellent zoo trip with a 3 year old! The animals are neat! Wish that the animals who were not there (tiger, red fox, seals) would have a sign up explaining where they are. I wish there were some guides because only at the lion area was a guide talking about them while feeding him. The male lion was roaring in what seemed like pain from arthritis. We appreciated the cart for $8 that allowed us to wheel the toddler around but strollers are allowed too (we just didn't have ours). The park is fun too The beaver tail place was closed The bathrooms were clean and nice The lady at the store closed up early (by 15 min) and when we came out to go to the washroom she refused to let us know and nor was she wanting us to step right back into the zoo to go to the washroom. If your place is supposed to remain open to 5pm, we expect to be able to go in the store until 5pm.
Saman A — Google review
A clean, well-kept zoo with healthy and active animals. The layout is easy to follow, and the enclosures are spacious and well-designed. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Great mix of animals, from local species to exotic ones. Perfect place for families or anyone who enjoys being outdoors. One of the best attractions in Moncton.
Tario S — Google review
I went to the zoo with my brother and his son. It is a great place if you want to get out for a family fun. Halfway through there is a park that your able to sit at and watch the kids play, plus they have bathrooms and a little snack area that you can also buy food and drinks at. The only problem that we ran into is we wanted a cart to push nephew around. But out of all the carts that they had most of them are broken. So we had to pick the best one, it's just a shame. That you pay eight dollars and they can't fix them up. All and all the zoo was a great time we stay until closing.
Brandon D — Google review
We absolutely love the zoo. The grounds were so clean and tidy. The animal s area were neat and tidy and clean and all the animals seemed to be very comfortable and relaxed The only thing I wish they would have had was hoodies to buy in the gift shop. We had an awesome time. Thank you to all the staff
Sarah M — Google review
Magnetic Hill Zoo is a fun place to visit with family. There are lots of animals to see, and the zoo is clean and easy to walk around. The animals look well cared for, and there are fun spots for kids to learn and play. It’s a great place to spend a few hours and enjoy nature and wildlife.

Marché Moncton Market

Farmers' market
Nestled between Main Street and the river, the Moncton Market is a vibrant hub that comes alive every Saturday morning throughout the year. With over 100 vendors showcasing their wares, visitors can explore an eclectic mix of farm-fresh produce, mouthwatering pre-made foods, and unique artisan crafts. This market not only offers local delights like Dutch cakes and blended teas but also highlights cultural influences from recent immigrants, such as delicious treats from a new Syrian catering company.
Great place to shop local for all kinds of goodies, from food to crafts. Visit on Saturday. Please stop by Simon Family Eggs for a fantastic selection of all sizes of brown or white eggs.
Leonard W — Google review
A MUST STOP on a Saturday. Was visiting family I had never met before, my Dads cousins. They happen to own Down East Coffee & their son owns Buzz Du Jour. BOTH are wonderful options to get your caffeine fix. I wish I could remember the bakery I stopped at. Inside was hopping & so many fun little booths. Only was there for an hour but could’ve easily spent the day! Hopefully I get back over especially to take some photos. 😂
Holly G — Google review
This market was awesome parking was 5$ right beside the building with parking attends outside. This market was very alive with so many different vendors food options and drink stands. I bought some soaps sparking cider beef jerky. a lemonade and also some mini donuts. All those things were amazing and reasonable prices all the vendors were so nice
Christine — Google review
An impressive (and large!) selection of local fare from a wide range of vendors. I came away with a pound of coffee from Down East Coffee Roasters, sourdough from Co-Pain, pickled fiddleheads, maple cream, dolma, yellow beans and microgreens, a gloriously ashy goat cheese, baklava and ma-amoul, and some bulgogi for lunch that was stir fried on the spot.
Kelly — Google review
Amazing stop to try a bunch of local vendors to pick up breakfasts and lunch. They have many ethnic foods to chose from. We tried the Chilean empanadas that was just stuffed full of meat for $5. The favourite was the Vietnamese subs that was just delicious. The bread was crunchy but soft in the middle with a decent amount of meat and pickled veggies for $8! Picked a few pastries along the way as well. A must see and eat in Moncton!
Minh L — Google review
Very cool spot with a lot of options in the realm of foods and crafts/art. Bigger than the Fredericton market with a lot of international food options. I will very much miss not being able to regularly get the authentic Vietnamese coffee from Coco Saigon and I cannot wait to go back some weekend to try their food. Here, you can get all the produce you could want, bath bombs and crystals. Sewn and knitted objects. Pottery, carved art, clothing and much more. I also loved the live music stage bringing even more excitement to an already bustling area.
Andrew B — Google review
I have not been to this place for a while and I decided to check this place again and i enjoyed my visit there. More vendors more choices of food and other non food too. Great food choices and well maintained place. The parking is difficult at times to find. But it is a good place to support locals and try different food.
Davette C — Google review
This is an amazing market. Not enough time to enjoy it all! An enormous selection of food to try! Best cinnamon rolls ever!

The park offers various activities such as hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and kayaking on the lake. Went for a quick night hike, we'll maintained path, large free parking, you'll enjoy the sound of a river and a small waterfall, picnic space with seats noted, will go back day time for a longer exploration.
Charif H — Google review
A beautiful and well maintained park on the edge of Moncton. Well used by joggers, bikers, and dog walking. Cool and forested on a hot day and enjoyable with a minimal of bug spray. Facilities along the trail for use and a large clean washroom in the parking lot. Lots of parking and friendly encounters along the trail. No costs involved, just a free nature good time. Well worth a visit. Please pick up after your pet if you bring him or her along for a visit.
Bob W — Google review
23 June 2024 The MAIN trails are beautiful. Clean, well marked to easily locate where you are or intent to go. The trails are wide, level/even terrain with a nice ground material, for great footing. Along the trails are some nice bridges, benches, and porta poties and singage. The side trails are a totally different beast. I was taken by surprise by how poorly marked and maintained these trails were. I've seen a lot of trails and some of the side trails I wouldn't consider a public trail but rarher a direction through the the woods o get through to a trail. Above all, it was a very enjoyable trail.
Jason P — Google review
Oh this is a magnificent park, with easy and long enough trails for everyone and beautiful views. All the trails I have been on this park are mostly flat, which makes it easy for those with certain conditions. And all of them offer beautiful forest settings, completely natural surroundings and quiet time. The park gets you far enough from traffic noise (in contrast to Centennial park which is beautiful but some parts have too much noise during the day because there's construction going on in the back and there's a highway there too). This is a beautiful place to go and relax, and enjoy nature. I recommend it in the fall (October, photos are from October 10), the colors are STUNNING.
Sam F — Google review
Love this beautiful trail, you could spend a full 8hrs or more on all the trails. There are so many and it is well maintained. Plenty of look out points and beautiful things to see. Bring your walking shoes a camera and something to feed the ducks. So happy this place is just a small drive away in the city. Can not wait to go back and try more trails and see the new bridge when it is done.
Cristina T — Google review
We took the whole family for an afternoon walk. Beautiful scenic trails. Cute little critters and tons to keep even my Youtube adicted kids distracted for a few hours. I love the lake and the small creeks with the sturdy bridges. There are markers on the trail and clear maps to follow if you get lost. Lots of benches for resting and even bathrooms here and there. It's mostly clean and very well taken care of.
Benoit B — Google review
Such a beauty of a spot. Perfect for long walks in and around the forest, serenity! The water ways are beautiful too. Many places to sit and soak in the sunshine. Also has covered areas perfect for photography in the rain. I love this park
Barbie K — Google review
Super easy access. Beautiful grounds, I was continually stopping my hike to take more pictures. Saw a ton of wildlife. Great, wide and well maintained trails. Pack a picnic and some good walking shoes, and get out here!!

Karen E — Google review
Wasn't a fan of the buffet options. I had the chili and some garlic bread which was very tasty. The macaroni salad was really good too.
Laura — Google review
Came to a concert on June 10 and buffet was closed. Very disappointed to say the least. Website advertising seafood summer, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only to find out the buffet is not open Sundays through Tuesdays. Website is confusing regarding the buffet hours but clearly states this on facebook, which I wouldn’t think to check. The wait for food was long, I ordered a burger which isn’t what I wanted. We were trying to make a night of this by staying at the casino. There were other patrons who were also not happy about the buffet not being open. I’m still unsure where the mussels are as they aren’t advertised on the menu I. The restaurant.
Angela T — Google review
Pat, my lovely wife and I, live not far from this fabulous casino. We first visited this establishment just after the height of COVID back in 2021. Restrictions were still in place. Gambling tables were not open. Buffet was still closed down and attendance was low. Shows were still not taking place. Some time later, Pat and I have been delighted to have attended one of the first showings, since COVID restrictions, in their large stage area (Buddy Holly tribute). Seats were not packed since many people were still playing it safe and staying home. The shows venue and performance was fantastic. We've both enjoyed a few meals in the casino's small restaurant within the casino's main floor area next to the many gambling machines. We have also been to their large buffet area for at least one of each of the afternoons they are open. Each night open there is a different special and selection (repeats every week). We strongly recommend obtaining their membership card, if of age, for meal savings at every visit (cost nothing). Be careful, it's very easy to gain weight at their buffet. So many items to choose from and we've yet to find something we didn't like. Meals are delicious and I always have trouble leaving room for dessert, but I do manage. Even with their desserts, the choices are many. We've learnt that if one needs a dessert without sugar, just ask one of the attendants and they will happily bring an item out from behind their separation wall. This is but another place Pat and I enjoy being able to treat ourselves to once in a while, here in Moncton, NB. Neither of us are big gamblers but we do enjoy meandering through the Gambling area on our way out (buffet is at the far end of the casino floor). Pat and I have brought loved ones to this place more than once and will continue doing so in future, God willing. Since we live so close to this casino, renting a room has never been a consideration but, from what we've seen, we're sure they're well kept. Both of us have enjoyed walking their main hotel corridor which displays past celebrities that have performed and stayed at this fine casino/hotel. We have also driven along their back parking lot to check out the many different campers using their lot for temporary parking. Very nice layout and compassionate of the owners to allow campers with limited parking. My only complaint, during the many times we've eaten at the casinos buffet, has been with their corn in the cob. We love 🌽 but each time, it has been inedible to us. Far too mushy, like they've been soaking in water for hours. Not a huge drawback since there's so much to chose from at their buffet but disappointing. New thus year (2025) is their Wednesday Chinese buffet. Excellent choices to choose from. Both Pat and I found this buffet a delightful addition to their varied buffets on other days.

Myself and my partner could not wait to go see Nazareth we were so excited we got front row centre seats and only living 5 minutes away we thought what the hell let’s also get a room there so we spent 1122.00 and with both of us being off on medical leave we said our last hurrah but when Nazareth came out the crowd rushed the stage the security could not control it and my condition I cannot stand for a long period and really thought I wouldn’t have too given the fact that we paid 833.00 for a seat so lesson learnt we left and went back to our room into the third song disappointed to say the least why pay so much for front row seats when you cannot not only see the concert but enjoy it from your seats that you paid good money for! We will not be back and I am so sorry for the rant but I just don’t get

We had a great experience at Casino New Brunswick in Moncton! The buffet was excellent — lots of fresh, tasty options and something for everyone. The live band added a fun, upbeat vibe to the evening, and there’s a huge variety of slot machines to choose from, so you’re never bored. The atmosphere was lively but welcoming, and it’s easy to see why this spot is so popular. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
Bev H — Google review
The casino itself is pretty good, kinda confusing at first, slots are all geared to entice maximum bets, irregardless of bet amount, makes you miss the old days of 1,2,3 Pauline, now it's endless.. The all you can eat buffet leaves a lot to be desired, it was very disappointing to say the least, bland, tough, cold...definitely not what I'd be eating at a casino buffet...I've been to many casinos over the years, the food here ranked ....well, it's more polite not to rank it at all..

Great room, casino was fun, actually won some money. Enjoyed sitting at the bar with other guests watching the Blue Jays win. The hot tub and pool were very relaxing.

Usva Spa, located just a short 10-minute drive from downtown Moncton, offers a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The spa provides various thermotherapy packages for guests to indulge in an ancient wellness practice dating back over 2,000 years. Nestled near Magnetic Hill Winery, visitors can combine a relaxing morning at the spa with an afternoon of wine tasting.
We've been to several spa's in Ontario and Quebec and gave this one a try while in Moncton. I'd say it's the best one I've experienced yet for a quiet relaxing day. They may not appreciate this but one big plus was how few people were there. I will caution though that the cold plunge pool is the coldest one I've ever been in.
Chris F — Google review
The place is beautiful, very well kept and maintained. The two different sauna rooms are nice, one is a barrel style and the other a traditional water on stone. The steam room is definitely the nicest I’ve ever experienced, and their large hot pool is nice. I enjoyed the cold plunge, I like the waterfall feature, its a nice touch and keeps the water very cold. The only thing I could say is their no photo policy rule is very strict. I understand not to have pics of people for privacy purposes but I think it should be allowed only if no one else can be seen or taking a selfie with your spouse or family. Highly recommend this Nordic spa to locals and travellers.
LawfulAta — Google review
Smaller than expected but really beautifully designed. The hammock chairs in the gazebo were a great touch. Would likely come back in the cooler weather so we could enjoy the saunas more.

I come here regularly with my husband. The only down side is some people still talk on quiet days. Staff are usually on top of the volume level so if you have an issue, you can bring it to them.

I was here last June and I am returning in two weeks. I’m hoping it’s better then the last time. Staff was great menus again little but awesome. Would like to see more added. Was just a little crowded in the main dipping pool and I endured a lot of what I thought was floaties but dead skin. It was all in the water it was gross. Overall besides that I had a great drive from halifax and experience. Just recommend maybe stronger filters. Going this time for meddicupping and a different time of the year so looking forward to it.

Magnetic Hill Park

Magnetic Hill Park, located in the foothills of Magnetic Hill in Moncton, is a popular destination for locals and tourists. The park offers an intriguing optical illusion where cars appear to roll uphill when placed in neutral on the road leading to the hill. Visitors can drive themselves to the park and follow signage to experience this phenomenon. Additionally, the park features gift shops, restaurants, and a water park for visitors to enjoy.
Kind of gimmicky for $7 just to drive through the road that is just a big illusion. Takes a few minutes to experience it a few times, then its over. But worth it anyways and it is quite unique and you can't find it anywhere else. Consider it a donation to maintain the area and make it a fun place for the kids. Lots of do when everything is open.
Colin L — Google review
So, it turns out that the magnetic hill phenomenon is a fake. It's all about visual perception. For some reason, most people feel like the car is facing downhill while it starts to roll backwards. It did not feel that way to me at first. But, it was still a thrill moving backwards, especially for the kids. You can read the explanation in the pictures I have posted. Look for the video, which I'll post on YouTube. Price is $7 per car for a 30-45 second experience. Maybe I'll build one like it in my backyard and charge an admission fee. 😆 Young kids will enjoy the experience. Be prepared to do some explaining afterwards.
Baldo M — Google review
We didn't do the road as it was a pay to drive that day. Walked the cute little shopping village though.

A fun spot to wander but more fun for kids. There's a couple cute shops and we enjoyed ice cream.
Vanessa B — Google review
We only did the hill. We had read reviews so our expectations were low to begin with. It was neat. I’m glad we did it. We talked about it on and off for a few days after. For $7, it was worth the experience.

We stopped here en route to PEI. Fun and interesting, really was a weird experience that had the whole family scratching their heads trying to figure it out. Quick and inexpensive. Also liked the small gift shops on site, as we got some great deals on souvenir items. Would recommend.

Very beautiful place to visit in Moncton.
Shilpa — Google review
We went to magnetic hill park to experience magnetic hill. When we got to the hill itself, it was an absolute cluster F of vehicles going in all directions. They tell you to move over to the left lane beside the white post. Vehicles were trying to exit in the same lane. While we were waiting our turn, the guy in front of us got out of his vehicle and started yelling at us to put our vehicle in neutral and start rolling backwards even though it wasn’t our turn. Once we had our turn, it wasn’t what it’s cracked up to be - in our opinion. You’re rolling backwards down a slight grade to gain momentum to go upgrade? We got frustrated and left. If anyone from the park Is reading this review, please take note that there needs to be staff coordinating traffic in this area or more signage in place in the area to direct people in lanes and where to wait their turn. As someone else stated in their review, it’s only a matter of time before there’s a fender bender. I’m sure the rest of the park is a great attraction, but until this park sorts out this traffic coordination issue, don’t waste your money and time on this.

Vegetarian restaurant
Restaurant
Calactus is a cozy vegetarian restaurant located in downtown Moncton, offering a diverse menu of global cuisine. The eatery is popular among both vegetarians and meat-eaters, serving up healthy vegan and vegetarian dishes made with fresh, natural ingredients. The interior has a warm and quirky vibe with earthy tones, wooden accents, and plenty of greenery. In addition to their food offerings, Calactus also provides fair-trade coffee, organic wines, and local beers.
Visited Calactus today with a couple of friends for brunch; first impression was that it was a nice cozy place, loved how they had small booth like seats for more privacy! We ordered the Enchiladas, the cannelloni portobello and the lasagna - the food was delicious! The portion sizes were pretty good! Loved the sides that come with each dish! Our server was really nice and sweet! Customer service was on point! Great place to grab some good food and have a nice time! Definitely 💯 P.S. Vegetarians like myself should really check out this place - it’s amazing!

It's my friend's favorite place and she always make sure she visit here twice when she is in Moncton. So she took me here twice and I got to try few different dishes. I really enjoyed their falafel salad. Omg. It was good. And the bruschetta with balsamic vinegar was just omg! Her favorite is Enchiladas! And yes it's all good. The flavor is so rich.

Came here after a recommendation for gluten free options. It did not disappoint, a lot of vegan and gluten free options. Free parking lot out front. A lot of seating and a closed in patio. Kid friendly in terms of high chairs and a diaper changer but no kid menu their recommendation was the margarita pizza (photo attached). Would recommend, nice place!

I had a pleasant experience dining at Calactus. While I found the food to be fairly average, the service more than made up for it. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and ensured everything went smoothly throughout the visit. The atmosphere was truly the highlight — warm, cozy, and inviting, creating a wonderful setting to enjoy a meal. Overall, a solid choice if you value excellent service and a comfortable, relaxing ambiance.

Perfect experience for a diner in town, warm welcome and fast cooking. Not a vegetarian myself so I won't be able to compare but I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a good meal, it's as simple as that !

recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — especially great for vegetarians. Every dish was full of flavor, and the overall taste was just wow. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty vegetarian options!
Himanshi P — Google review
Some of the best food I've had, veg or otherwise! Highly recommend the Enchiladas (I had it with cheese) The smoothie was simple but hearty, while the chocolate raspberry pie was incredibly and extremely filling I was so full trying to finish these, but thoroughly enjoyed them all! A tad expensive
Aakash J — Google review
Giving a second star for whoever was working in the kitchen as they did a fine job on siding the vegetables for one of my dishes, clearly someone with skill. That and the decor is nice. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The menu lacks vision and feels like something you would see from a similar eatery 10+ years ago. It's a hodgepodge of cuisines that use very different spice profiles which they clearly don't keep on hand. I'm glad there is a place for locals to get vegetarian food but it was underwhelming for me. Not to mention the service left a lot to be desired.

We were in town for a chefs conference, and we were given a number of restaurants to visit on a Tuesday night. We chose Little Louis's. There was a six course tasting menu available, and it did not disappoint. The presentation was beautiful, and the dishes were flavourful and well seasoned. Our server was professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I recommend having dinner here.

We went to Little Louis to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our 27th anniversary. This was our first time there. We are from Ontario and highly recommend this intimate and lovely restaurant. Our experience was very pleasant not only for the exquisite, creative and delicious appetizer, entree, amuse-bouche and dessert but also for the hospitality of Karen the hostess, Madi our pleasant waitress and Jasmine our wonderful bartender. Gastropub
Tide & Boar Gastropub is a popular and lively spot located on Main Street, offering a sophisticated yet casual dining experience. The restaurant takes pride in its locally sourced ingredients and house-made dishes, including the famous Boar Poutine and even their own ketchup. The name of the gastropub cleverly references Moncton's tidal bore and the seafood and boar featured on the menu.
Extremely good food in my opinion. Oysters were fresh and clean. Soup tasted great. Lobster was great. Awesome beers brewed in house. My one bit of feedback was that the chicken soup could contain more chicken meat but the flavour was incredible and the staff were very happy to receive any feedback I had.
Jon T — Google review
The Tide & Boar Gastropub has been in operation for a few years, service is stellar and food is top notch! If you are looking for a great selection on locally brewed drinks or food, be sure to give them a visit. We have been a customer for a while and felt it was time to give them a review. In our recent visit, we ordered three appetizers and two main courses. We ordered the scotch egg, this is a great validation of the kitchen’s execution experience, the end product should have a runny yolk. The scotch egg was prepared to perfection and the jam and greens that came with the dish were a match made in heaven. The muscles were cooked in a wonderful red sauce that was finger licking good! The Brussel sprouts were caramelized and had wonderful sweet taste to them. The main dish was their pan fried haddock and Tide & Boar signature Salad. I am lost for words to describe this plate cause it was so tasty and devoured in no time!! I didn’t think we had any more room in our tummy but couldn’t resist ordering the cheese cake to end the session.

Tide & Boar blends laid-back charm with seriously good eats. The menu hits that sweet spot between comfort food and chef-driven creativity, and the craft beer selection is top-notch. It’s got a buzz without being loud—perfect for catching up or kicking back. A Moncton favorite for a reason.

Great place to eat, best in Moncton overall in my short time there. Lunch items like the boar hash and chowder were phenomenal. Decent lobster roll and fish and chips as well. The shrimp taco and the steak frites were amazing as well. Servers were fast and friendly. Would highly recommend this place.

Food was great, servers were all friendly, and atmosphere was just what we needed (warm sunny day but we had some much needed shade)!

I ordered the chowder during a late afternoon rush. Service was a bit slow but nothing too bad. They have a lovely outdoor seating area which is the true appeal of this place. It's a great place to catch up with friends or colleagues at the end of a work day while sipping on wine and having some hearty food.

The charcuterie board was absolutely delicious. The burrata and other cheeses were so nice . For my main the seafood chowder was loaded with scallops shrimps smoked salmon muscles a generous amount of lobster and piping hot. Wife had crusted haddock and she enjoyed it . Sion had the chicken burger with a kick . Wonderful experience. Highly recommended

We got the vegan smash burger and parm crusted haddock. We really enjoyed our meals. The fries are super good too. Love sitting outside on a nice day. The vegan smash burger was delicious but there should be at least one other vegan entree on the menu! Two others in our group got the fish and chips and didnt really enjoy the fish all that much - felt it lacked flavour. They’d recommend getting the haddock over the fish n chips. Service was good. Friendly and decently quick despite being busy.

Pump House - Brewpub & Restaurant

Restaurant
Pump House - Brewpub & Restaurant is a popular spot in Downtown Moncton, New Brunswick, known for its wide selection of house-brewed craft beer and comfort food. Established in 1999, it was one of the first brewpubs in the area and has since become a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. The brewery offers an extensive menu featuring wood oven pizza made with handcrafted beer-infused dough, along with burgers, steak, salads, and daily specials.
Twenty years ago, I used to visit Moncton frequently, 2 to 3 times a year, and on my first visit, I had dinner at the Pump House, fell in love with the place and the food, that it became a tradition to drop by every time I'm in town. The place has a wonderful vibe, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. The food is exceptional. I tried many things there over the years, but the thin crust oven-baked pizza is a must-have every time. They are also a brewery, so there's a wide selection of beers, and they are famous for their fruity flavors, like the blueberry beer. Surprisingly, I never had dessert at the Pump House, because I'm always full from the appetizers and main course, so maybe next time I should skip the appetizer and go for a dessert instead. One more thing I have to mention is the genius idea of the seating pods/booth, designed to look like wooden barrels. They perfectly fit the vibe of the restaurant, and with people engraving their messages on the tables and inner walls of the pods, this seating option becomes an entertainment piece, full of topics for discussion, as you go through what people have written and engraved. I highly recommend the Pump House if you're ever in Moncton. Wish we had something similar in Ottawa.

This experience had highs and lows. But we would return with knowledge from our first visit probably making it a better one. We ordered the dry ribs for an appetizer. My daughter had the pizza and it was delicious! My wife had a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and gravy and it was great she said. I had the Brisket sandwich with a salad that left a lot to be desired unfortunately. It has a bland roast beef taste that's miles away from a good brisket. While there was ample meat it was sliced thin and dry. Our server was very kind but forgetting to bring the appetizer while the appy plates sat on the corner of the table was a big miss!! We realized she forgot about them so we decided not to mention or make a big deal out of it. We did chuckle looking at the appy plates when we were finished our meal thinking "do we ask when our appetizer is coming" lol. It was not a bad experience and we were full and satisfied when we left. I asked our server for a spicy Caesar and it was fantastic, great job!

Our whole group loved it here. We came for lunch and sat indoors. They also have a nice patio outside. The service was quick and the waitress was very nice. Food was delicious. The red and blueberry beers are the best. We ordered personal pizzas for each with vegan cheese substituted and they were delicious. They put a very generous amount of vegan cheese, which many places do not. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more beer and get these pizzas again!

I recently visited Pump House – Brewpub & Restaurant in Moncton, and overall it was a good experience. The fish and chips were absolutely amazing—crispy, golden batter with tender fish inside, definitely the highlight of the meal. On the other hand, the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was a bit of a letdown, as it lacked flavor and came across as quite bland compared to the other dish. That said, the service was excellent—the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which really made the visit enjoyable.

We had a regular cheese burger and a bison burger, both were very good, albeit a little dry. Astonishlingy the poutine was the best we had on this trip, the gravy was amazing. Beer selection was fantastic and the service couldn't have been more attentive. Absolute recommendation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pump House Brewery is truly the place to be in Moncton! Operating since 1989 and still going strong, this spot offers an amazing experience from start to finish. The customer service is absolutely fantastic—friendly, fast, and welcoming. Their craft beer selection is incredible, but the standout for me was the Blueberry Ale—served with real blueberries floating in the glass! So refreshing and delicious. For food, I had the famous “Burger That Ate Moncton” with poutine—wow, it was much more than I expected! Packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and just a real treat. Whether you’re looking for the best craft brewery in Moncton, a place for great burgers and beer, or simply a fun pub atmosphere, Pump House Brewery delivers. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

Brumes du Coude is hands down our favourite restaurant—not just in Moncton, but anywhere. It’s where we go for most of our date nights and special occasions, and every time we leave, we feel like we’ve just experienced something special. The food is consistently incredible. They take local, seasonal ingredients and turn them into something truly elevated and creative. We’ve tried things here we never would have ordered anywhere else—and ended up loving them. Honestly, just by going back again and again, we’ve learned so much about food and even wine. And the service is just as unforgettable. Mireille and Jacqueline are warm, genuine, and make you feel like you’re part of the Brumes family. They really love what they do, and it shows. Catch22 Lobster Bar

Restaurant
Catch22 Lobster Bar is a casual spot with a modern and bright interior, offering an extensive selection of seafood dishes. As the name suggests, they specialize in preparing lobster in 22 different ways, including their famous lobster thermidor and serving it by the pound with mixed veggies and a choice of sides. The restaurant also offers traditional New Brunswick fare along with high-quality steaks and pasta dishes. Featured on Food Network Canada's 'You Gotta Eat Here!'
We visited Catch22 for the first time after a few of our friends recommended it and we read such great reviews online. We started with raw oysters and mussels (pictured), which were all fresh and delicious. For mains we had the Lobster dinner, scallop alfredo (pictured) and a seafood pasta. Everyone cleaned their plates and we agreed that it was some of the best seafood we've ever had. For desserts we tried the crème brulee that came with a sugar cookie (mediocre, but not the star of the dish to begin with). The crème brulee itself was delicious. I ordered a French 75 to start which was light and refreshing. I went to order a second drink but wanted a recommendation on something slightly sweeter. The bartender Justin came over, asked me a few questions and then asked if he could make me something off-menu with some ingredients he had. He brought back a delicious strawberry gin drink that was exactly what I was looking for. Our waitress Flora was excellent. It was her first or second day on the job and she served us effortlessly. She was very personable and a pleasure to chat with. Great food, great drinks. Will certainly be back!
Kelsey H — Google review
My fiance (Jessica) and I had a craving for lobster today. We decided to give Catch 22 a go. I thought I had remembered this place being upscale, with table clothes and dim lighting. It was far from that on this vist. It had more of a seasonal take-out feel. The first thing we noticed when we entered, was a strong musty smell. There was a waitress sitting at a booth in the dinning room, cleaning it and another waitress at the front cash who appeared to be trying to figure something out with another customer's bill. Neither waitress greeted us and we stood there for a few minutes without anyone so much as looking at us to smile or say "we will be right with you". Both Jessica and I discussed our confusion about if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated, there was no sign saying "please wait to be seated" and as previously mentioned, it seemed more like a dive take-out. Finally when the waitress looked up, she took us to our seat. It was a booth with ripped seats that had been taped to repair them and I noticed several seats in the dinning room were the same way. We also noticed that both waitresses were dressed all in black. It looked good, but our waitress' (Jaqueline according to our recept) shirt and apron, were filthy dirty. Our flatware was on the table and wrapped in cloth napkins. The flatware was very clean and shiny. It was around 7:30 on a Saturday evening and there were only 2 other tables seated. The menus were already on the table and not in folders like you would expect from a higher end establishment, but rather laminated. Our waitress brought us a bottle of water and left the bottle on the table. I love when they do this. I don't have to wait for a water refill. I wish more places did this. Jessica opted for the steamed lobster that did not have a price listed on the menu. That's fair as lobster prices are usually based on market and fluctuates. This dish was to include a steamed lobster, vegetables and a side. She chose risotto as her side. I choose the Fishers Platter for $52. It was to come with a half lobester, vegetables and a side. I chose mashed potato as my side. Side options were limited to mash potato, risotto or fries. No baked or twice baked potato, no salad of any kind, no sweet potato fries. Both of our lobsters were served barely warm. I actually enjoyed this temperature very much. It was easy to handle and eat. Jessica's risotto wasn't creamy but was sticky. The flavor was "ok". If give it a 6/10. The veg was steamed broccoli and carrot and I'd give those about an 8/10 for both of ours. My mash potato was dry and flavorless, I'd give that a 2/10. Both of our lobsters were a 7/10. Not the best either of us have ever had but not the worst either. My meal came with two scallops and two shrimp. Both the scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly. Jessica also ordered an Amaretto Sour that she enjoyed very much. When the bill came out, Jessica's meal was $86. I was ok with paying whatever, because I hadn't discussed the price at the beginning with the waitress, I do feel this is a bit steep and here is why. I noticed on the menu that they offer a side of 3 scallops for $22 or 3 shrimp for $20. Based on that price, my $52 meal would break down like so... $14.67 for two scallops, $13.33 for two shrimp and $24.05 for a half lobster and vegetables and side. So how is a full lobster and side going to be $86? 🤔 I could see maybe the same price as my meal but I got scallops and shrimp instead of the other half of the lobster. Or even $60 or $65 if you what to be crazy, but $86?? Definitely not worth it. If give this overall meal, atmosphere, staff friendliness and cleanliness, price, etc, a 4.5/10. We won't be back.

The food was good but not that good for it too be as expensive as it was- ive definitely tasted better food that they sell in here for better prices and quality. It’s good but not amazing, that’s what I want to end it with. The service was not bad, they were busy at the time so i understand if they couldn’t be as helpful as they would want to be. It was a nice and lively atmosphere, the paper towel of the bathroom was overflowing the trash though but other than that it was good. note: we did a reservation so there was no wait

The Windjammer is an elegant restaurant located at the Delta Beausejour, offering a classic fine dining experience with a unique merchant boat interior. This establishment has been consistently recognized with the CAA Four Diamond Award for its excellence in dining since 1992. Nice hotel bar. We were here for the week and started with a cocktail at the bar. Our server was knowledgeable and pleasant, which makes our long-term stay comfortable
Trena K — Google review
I didn’t take photos of all our dishes, only a few from the pairing menu. I was initially hesitant to share feedback or mention the price I paid for three, but upon reflection, I believe this is valuable and constructive feedback based on the overall quality. Had been eagerly anticipating my visit to The Windjammer, having spoken so fondly of it to my family. I wanted to treat them to a refined culinary and wine pairing experience during their stay in Moncton, something I personally value and don’t mind investing in when the quality reflects the price. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. To begin, I was surprised by the lack of bilingual service. My mother doesn’t speak English, and I found myself translating each course and wine pairing, which disrupted the flow of the evening. Midway through the meal, someone stepped in to speak French, merci! Our first course, the oysters, was unfortunately overpowered by garlic. The second dish, a combination of pancakes, tomatoes, and avocado, was overly oily and lacked both flavour and aroma. When I shared this feedback, the staff kindly explained that the menu was designed as a “build-up of flavours,” suggesting that the later courses would be more expressive. While I appreciated the professional response, I do believe that in a tasting menu, each course should stand on its own in presentation, texture, and flavour, while still progressing harmoniously through the meal. Unfortunately, that balance was missing. The third course was confusing in presentation, not my vibe to be honest. The dish, a mix of chewy meat rolled together, lacked refinement, though the flavours were an improvement from the previous plates. It had an Indian-inspired profile taste, which I personally enjoyed, and it was the best-tasting dish so far. But wasn’t outstanding. The following course, French toast, was beautifully presented but lacked depth of flavour. The main course, however, was a highlight. The cod was perfectly cooked, delicate, well-seasoned, and balanced. I also tried the Wagyu, prepared medium as requested by my mother, and it was exceptional, pairing beautifully with the red wine. This was the level of execution and flavour I had anticipated throughout the evening. Unfortunately, dessert ended the meal on another low note. While visually interesting, it leaned too heavily on a sour cream cheese flavour, aggressive sour features and the crispy flakes tasted stale. Despite leaving the dessert largely untouched, no one came to check in. Although I shared feedback mid-meal about the lack of flavour, the evening overall did not deliver the refined, flavour-driven experience I had hoped for. For a bill totaling over $600 for three guests, the quality and consistency simply did not align with the price point. I don’t mind paying for excellence, but this experience fell short. I wouldn’t order the wine and food pairing menu again, though the Wagyu, cod, and Caesar salad were excellent and would recommend over a tasting menu. On a positive note, the Caesar salad was excellent, fresh, balanced, and well-seasoned. The staff were lovely, the wine selections were enjoyable and I was in good company. I truly wanted this to be a memorable evening for my family, but instead, it turned into a lesson in expectations versus reality. Thankfully, we found humour in it all. I’m just relieved it wasn’t a client dinner, as I would have felt uncomfortable hosting one under these circumstances. As someone who frequently dines at Bar Le Beau, beside the WJ, I would, without hesitation, choose The Beau over The Windjammer next time. The seafood chowder itself beats all of the pairing menu I tried at the Wind. Thank you, Elisa

Apparently the chef changed and this USED to be a great restaurant sadly it is no longer. While the sparkling wine greeting and table side flambé are nice gimmicks they do not make up for the mediocre food especially considering the high cost. The amuse bouche was a cold cabbage roll stuff with chicken salad it didn't amuse our palettes. If you're going to give a free starter it should really excite you want the coming meal this had the opposite effect. The appetizers were also not great. I had to ask for salt and balsamic vinegar to give some flavour to the dry burata and tasteless tomatoes (they were not heirloom). The cauliflower soup was sickly sweet. As for the mains... The steak was fine no better than the keg. The duck was underwhelming and rubbery and tough and again way too sweet. The dessert was like a frozen store bought cheesecake with an inedible garnish. The service was forgetful, and rushed, trying to take away dishes before they were even finished. All in all we don't ever be returning and very disappointing considering this used to be one of the best restaurants in Moncton.

Intimate dining experience. Many tables in intimate nooks for private ambiance. Service attentive. Food is refined and delicious. Wine prices reasonable. Free parking for guests.

What an amazing & exquisite little gem! While traveling we were looking for a place to have dinner, came across this hidden spot. The food was spectacular - steaks, fish, Cesar salad, French onion soup - every little morsel was delicious! Service was spot on, very attentive & informative. Thank you for making our visit so special!

One of my new personal favorite restaurants in Moncton. Firstly, the atmosphere is truly unique. The service is also quite remarkable and personnal, which is not something you see everyday. Secondly, many appetizers are included in the price, such as a variety of breads and butter. One appetizer that we ordered was the ceasar salad which was prepare right in front of us from scratch. The portions here are very generous, and everything on the menu is fresh so the quality really makes up for the few extra dollars you would have saved else where. Overall this restaurants makes for a very pleasant and memorable experience.

WOW! Really there are no adequate words to truly convey the experience we had! You simply must try this restaurant for yourself to understand how stellar everything is. We didn’t have just one server, rather we had a team of servers and they were top notch! Their watchful eyes kept our table clean, our drinks and water topped, and our food orders impeccably accurate. They were an incredible blend of high class, flavored with wit and humor. Each server went above and beyond, and never once were they hovering or overbearing. The food was just unbelievable! From the sweetest, most decadent lobster to the rooftop (yes they have a rooftop garden and apiary) herbed butter, honey lavender pallet cleansers, and locally baked breads, to the locally grown; Amherst wild rice and divine house wine, this place was beyond our wildest expectations!!! The Cesar Salad was stunning. The crème brûlée and flambé strawberries were simply spectacular. We were so flabbergasted with the experience and food that we asked to meet the chef who made our food. All I can say is go. Experience. Prepare to have your culinary taste buds blown away. Prepare to experience service beyond excellence! Prepare to crave the experience over and over and over!

This was our first time visiting the Windjammer, even though my wife and I are both Moncton residents. I absolutely loved how tucked away and cozy it felt. The service was incredibly attentive, and the meal itself was wonderful fine dining experience.

Tony's Bistro & Patisserie is a charming cafe and bakery that offers traditional French dishes alongside exquisite cakes and pastries. The cozy interior features stone walls, wooden tables, and plenty of seating options. Visitors praise the friendly and accommodating staff who are attentive to dietary restrictions. The menu includes delectable items like Salmon Benedict with poached eggs, smoked salmon, bakery brioche, scratch hollandaise, potatoes, and fruit.
One of the best places to dine in, get your main course or just for dessert 😉 like me. I've never had such amazing fluffy, flaky pastry in the past and also the level of sweetness in each dessert item was so perfect that you could eat until you were full. I promise you, it's a must try out stop. 🛑 Put in your bucket list.

We had the Eggs Benedict, and while the home fries were unfortunately overcooked and mostly burnt, the ham was thick, tender, and not overly salty. The eggs were perfectly poached, which we really enjoyed. We also tried the Thai Sweet Chili Burger, a special item for Moncton Burger Fest. The patty was freshly made and tender, but the Thai sweet chili flavor was slightly overshadowed by the tangy, citrusy slaw. Despite this, it was still a refreshing and unique burger experience. For dessert, we ordered the Royale Cake and the Opera Cake. The Royale Cake had a rich dark chocolate flavor with a delightful crunch—it reminded me of Ferrero Rocher. The Opera Cake was equally enjoyable, with a light mocha flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. A special thank you to Veronika, who was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. Her attentive service made our experience even better. Overall, the service was excellent, and we look forward to visiting again!

I called ahead to place a takeout order and everything was ready right on time. I got the chicken curry sandwich on a croissant—one of my absolute favourites—and treated myself to a cookie as well. While the prices are on the higher side, the food is always consistent and absolutely delicious. Totally worth it for the quality and flavour. Highly recommend!

We all had something different and all loved every bite! Generous portions. Finished with some shortbread cookies. Delicious!

Atmosphere and service was top notch! The regular food was pretty good. Fries were amazing. However, desserts were average at best IMO. Got a few, but the brownie itself was not good at all. Completely tasteless, and for $8!?! I cannot believe that's the brownie you get for $8. Super disappointing.

I stop by here every time I am out in Moncton for a work trip. All of their food is delicious, especially their pastries! It’s great that everything is prepared fresh and the staff are always very friendly. High recommended.

A Dining Experience Like No Other - 5 Stars! We recently dined at Tony’s bistro the one on McLaughlin Drive a group of seven, and honestly, words can’t even fully capture how incredible this experience was. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations! First, a huge shout-out to our server, Jamie, who made the night unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to explain the daily specials in detail. What truly stood out, though, was how thoughtful he was when it came to accommodating food allergies in our group. He handled everything with care and made sure all our needs were met without a hitch. As for the food — wow. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and free from any processed ingredients. You could tell that every dish was made with love and the highest quality ingredients. Each bite was bursting with taste, and we all kept commenting on how amazing everything was. It’s clear that the kitchen puts a lot of attention into creating dishes that are both delicious and wholesome. The ambiance was the perfect backdrop for a night out. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and just the right level of energy — not too loud, but still lively enough to feel like a special night out. From the service to the food to the atmosphere, we had an unforgettable dining experience. I’m already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-tier restaurant experience!

Stopped in after a Google search for some gluten free deserts. Some of the best I've ever had. Haven't sat down for a meal yet but the restaurant looked classy. If the food is good as the deserts it could be the best spot in town gluten free

Stopped by for lunch while running errands in Moncton. Nice outdoor seating area. Varied menu - good beer selection, but, alas, no NA options. The lobster rolls were excellent as was the middle eastern inspired salad. The burgers at the neighboring table looked good too.

Great spot! Fun vibe and service was great. I dont normally mention washrooms but for a portable it was designer. Tile and cool sink. Never seen that before. Great menu and excellent food. Hubby ordered a burger and I ordered the chicken burger. We both had the must have street corn. Soooo good.

A little pricey for a hot dog but delicious nonetheless and great selection of beer! A perfect little spot to unwind or have a quick bite!

Went here at 4 o'clock on a Friday and was told they are only serving hotdogs until 5, so we got two hotdogs. They were good, definitely very different than a regular hotdog and I'm not sure if it was real meat. The atmosphere is really nice. I love what the owners are trying to achieve with this place, however I am a bit worried that the lack of food selection and expensive prices will cause a struggle. We paid 40$ for 2 regular hotdogs, a beer, and a belinni. Overall we may be back when they are serving off their menu.

Great location and tastefully designed! Hop on your bike and go for a pedal and pints! Food is great and one of my faves is the pork schnitzel but the potato salad is not overwhelming.

For the price you pay, I'd expect a little more food, or at least a whole cob of corn. Food and drinks were very good though.

It's very hard to find an authentic Ramen place in NB, this place comes pretty close to it! We had a Tonkotsu ramen, a Miso ramen and a side of their delicious crispy katsu. The Chashu was extraordinary!! It's definitely worth adding extra to your bowl!
Circo9 — Google review
I would call it Korean ramyeon rather than Japanese ramen. The noodles are softer and less flavourful. Granted I didn’t exactly order a traditional ramen either. The menu leans more Korean overall. Loved the chashu tho. Good portions, lovely service.

Transportation in Moncton

Getting around Moncton can be a little daunting if you’re new here. We can help list some of the major public transportation methods if you don’t want to rely on a car.

Nearby airports

Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport

International airport
Airport
Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport, also known as YQM, is conveniently located and easily accessible from various directions. Despite being a small airport with only 4 main gates, it offers a pleasant travel experience. After passing through security, travelers can find amenities such as a Tim Hortons and additional seating upstairs. Baggage claim is efficient, and transportation options like taxis and air cabs are readily available outside the airport.
Nice airport, not big only 4 main gates I think. There is a Tim Hortons after you get through security and extra seating upstairs. Never personally had to wait more than a couple people for anything and getting checked bags is a breeze. Taxis right out front, air cab and I think there might be a bus service but not sure and didn't use it. Oh, there are no bathrooms in baggage claim but they are right outside the exit door.
David B — Google review
Nice smaller airport. Easy in and out. Rental car lot is on-site and easily accessible. From rental car drop to the gate was less than 10 minutes.
B.F. 0 — Google review
Staff here are great, very friendly. Speedy process through check-in and boarding. The airport is small but really nice. Had extra area upstairs to wait and watch planes come and go. Also has a bar upstairs. Very clean airport.
Crys W — Google review
Small airport, but surprisingly crowded right after security, especially in Sections 1 and 2. We’re here in early June with no major crowds, and it already feels cramped—I can’t imagine how packed it gets in July or August! The space definitely needs to be reorganized to improve flow and comfort.
Marcenny — Google review
Got here to pick up an arriving passenger. There is not hospitality for people waiting. No access to Tim Hortons. To access to observation deck. You have to sit at the front of the airport where you can’t see anything about passengers arriving until they come out through door. Also the PA system is terrible. You cannot hear a word of any announcements. With today’s technology you would think they could come up with something better.
Paul T — Google review
Always received great service at YQM. It may be smaller in size compared to some other markets, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for it through excellent customer service. Everyone you meet greets you with a smile, and you can feel that they are glad to be of service to you. There is some construction going on to improve services. But getting on and off of aircraft is quite easy using ramps or stairways. This work will improve the movement of passengers through the airport. Great service overall and highly recommended for your flights into or out of New Brunswick.
Francis V — Google review
Each time I travel through this airport, it feels more run down than the last. The terminal is in need of attention. Stained floors near the gates to restrooms that are consistently unclean and carry a strong odour of urine. At check-in, I was handed a boarding pass printed on thin, curled paper. When I asked about it, staff explained that this was a decision made by the airport, not the airline. It’s disappointing, especially when compared to the higher-quality card-stock passes provided at other airports like Toronto. Boarding can be quite chaotic, with multiple flights called at once and audio announcements that are too quiet or unclear to follow. That said, the one redeeming feature of this airport is its people. The staff, across the board, are kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. If it weren’t for their positive attitudes and professionalism, there would be very little reason to view this airport experience in a positive light.
Hudson — Google review
I’m autistic and had never been in an airport. So naturally I was fascinated and curious. Where the luggage gets dropped off for the people to pick up.. all I did was slightly lift a flap to peek at the bag which I assumed was fine because there were no signs telling me to do so. A security guard decided to scream at me from across the entire room and threatened to have me thrown out although I stopped immediately as I was asked and gave no fight. This was extremely unprofessional on the airport’s part and completely ruined my experience.
