Make this beach a priority for your trip. The jumping bridge waterway will push you into the open ocean or you can climb a ladder to return for another round faster. Life guards are available but always be safe! Lots of wildlife around, some crabs, birds and dolphins to see.
Home of the Singing Sands beach. Just wonderful! My family’s favorite beach on our PEI vacation. Don’t miss the bridge jumping! Go at low tide, easier to wade out to the sand bar just off shore.
one of the nicest beach in pei toilet & changing room wheelchair accessible the sand is white and the water is warm, also love the bridge you can jump from!
What a cool place !!! Bring your bath suit to enjoy the beaches or to jump off the bridge into the fast flowing water.
Lovely place to jump into the ocean. Beach has washrooms and lifeguards. Only issue we had is the sand bugs, they were a little intense.
I would say this is my favorite beach in PEI, beautiful scenery matched with a great atmosphere
Great beach with dunes to protect you from the winds if it’s a windy day. The jump into rip tide waves was cool and safe with life guards on duty.
A nice location with a guarded beach. There are protected waters from the surf as well. The facilities have restrooms and places to grab a bite to eat. There is also a museum on fish and fisheries, though I did not go through it. Family and dog friendly and not too crowded in early September. Worth a visit if you are in the East of the Island.

This was worth the stop. The View of Souris and the Water from the top is great. Warning the stairs are steep, however, worth the trip up. Every floor is different and explore them all. At the top, you can go outside and walk the balcony for great views. The store is also great to explore. Please help them on the way in with the up keep so they can maintain this treasure.
Formidable place. It is possible to climb all the way up the lighthouse, plenty of things to see inside. Employees are kind and well informed. Gift shop & restroom available there.
A wonderful piece of PEI history. The only lighthouse in PEI where we could go outside at the top. Well kept and very big. They have a wonderful gift ship with great items. Well worth the visit. A wonderful view of the ferry to The Madeline Islands.
Great lighthouse to visit. Climb to top fun. Not for those 300+ lb as last couple of steps/openings are very tight. Great view.
What a pleasant place to visit! This town was wonderful and the owner of the gift shop below the lighthouse was a sweetheart!
Out of all of the lighthouses that we have seen on P.E.I. this one rates a bit on the low side. The lighthouse is dire need of a paint job and some maintenance. If you are looking for a lighthouse photo op this might not be your best choice to consider. Still we enjoyed the visit to this place. The gift shop is amazing, and their prices on items made by local artists are very reasonable. Check it out if you are in the area. Plenty of parking.
Our family enjoyed this lighthouse especially the sea glass display and information. There’s a small ship play centre for young children.
What a view and what an experience. Tour the lighthouse by donation and climb to the very top!

This was one of my favourite beaches in the east coast! They have shops up on the board walk. The view is stunning. We were able to see lots of fun creatures from crabs and snails to even a lobster in one of the small pools of water. We found lots of sea glass! Overall we will definitely be coming back :)
We did find some seaglass though quite small. Theres ALOT of new sharp glass so do not come here barefoot ! Theres a boardwalk following the beach for those not wanting to walk the sands.
Great place to visit at low tide. Can walk out and explore the large red sand beach, finding razor clams, quahogs, crabs, shells, etc.
This is not you average beach. You can't dip you toes in water and walk barefoot along the sand. Well you could but this beach is known for have broken glass on it. There are even signs warning you as you walk on the beach about the broken glass.
We ❤️ Souris Beach! Best (and biggest) soft shell Clams we ever had!
Beautiful beach with powder sand that sings as you walk. What a wonderful surprise.
We went to Souris Beach to look for sea glass. Beautiful beach!!
Beautiful view. My favorite place to park and watch the ocean. High tide low tide, you name it im there. Gorgeous day or night. Beautiful place to walk along the Boulevard. Also great to pick up dinner near by and sit and eat with a gorgeous view! Nice walk on the boulevard in Souris, crisp air and beautiful scenery

The beach here is really pretty with an almost white fine sand. It's long, deep with a feeling of seclusion. There are proper change rooms, showers, ice cream bar, cafe, fish museum, etc all at this provincial park. The water happened to be quite cold when I was here at the end of August, 12C compared to 22+C on the north coast.
It’s open, despite what Google says lol. Very interesting, lots on display, informative content. Recommended!
The museum itself was ok but the guided tour with Daniel was great. The tour (included w museum admission) was about an hour and covered the history of the area, singing sands beach, Irish Moss/protected marine area and the historic cannery. Having a local guide made the experience much more engaging. Currently tours are at 11am M-F. Check the website for info.
Wow, what a place to enjoy the beach, hunt for beach glass, find hermit crabs while enjoying the warm water of the Atlantic Ocean at the end of July. The kids love this place, jumping off the bridge and allowing the tide to drag you out to the ocean. The beach is supervised, has change rooms as well as a museum, and several snack shacks. A must see in PEI
Been going here since I was kids and it was so nice to be able to take my family. Hope it always there!
There were many things to see. I learned a lot about the fishing industry.
One of our favorite beaches on the Island. Lifeguards on duty during the summer season to watch over the beach and thrill seekers who like to jump from the walking bridge into the channel.
What a view. Great museum, and beach. Lots of parking.

This business is now located off the Mail Street in Souris into an old church in town. Easy to locate. Very spacious spot to display all the talent in the area. You name it you probably could find it. Definitely worth a visit.
Purchased a demin purse hand made by Milly and was fortunate enough that she was there that day and was able to thank her in person for her wonderful work! Amazing finds of all kinds here and the staff are so welcoming.
A great place to peruse the creations of local artists and find something unique and meaningful from the area while also exploring the incredible beaches around Souris. I picked up a beautiful print and my daughters got some nice jewellery and stickers.
Very beautiful curation of local art — would recommend the stop if driving through!
Would’ve loved to have supported the local art. There was a back 15 min sign out front- waited 20 min and no one came back.
Beautiful items, wonderfully amazing women that work there - so friendly and welcoming. Such a great PEI experience, ended up going back twice because the items were just too good
Variety of well crafted articles, unusual ideas and a wonderful disposition of the personnel who guides you through the choices.
The store is not on Main, but worth the visit

This was a really cool experience. Little difficult to locate the parking. I saw plenty of people drive down the "road" but is actually someone's driveway. Park on the RIGHT side of the boardwalk, there's a small sign. I noticed a lot of people go for a few minutes then leave but I found the peace and quiet, sound of the ocean and the breeze to be amazing. Stop for more than just a moment and enjoy life. There are paths in the grass that lead along the ocean away from the lighthouse that I assume is private property but it appears to be maintained by someone (thank you) and there are no signs stating to keep out. I'd say just be respectful. I got some really nice drone shots here I will upload when I get a chance.
You have to next to the boardwalk for this lighthouse. There are signs, P1 and P2. Make sure you don't go down the lighthouse road and park in one of these spots and walk on the boardwalk. You can't go inside the lighthouse but it's a nice little walk. If it's near you I wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're already up here definitely stop.
Near lighthouse and cliff coast. Limited parking but a nice boardwalk most of the way there.
Be sure to read the signs as to where you can park (on the lawn) and walk (on the boardwalk) - you’ll be crossing between boardwalks so as not to encroach on the homes that surround this functional Canadian Coast Guard lighthouse.
Nice lighthouse to visit. It’s just the outside of it, so don’t prep to be there for a while. The cliffs are cool to see! Right down the road is public beach access with washrooms and an ice cream shop, as well as outdoor rentals. If you go to this lighthouse, I suggest you add it on to your beach day!
This light is ready to get to. The property next to it is private so be careful on which driveway you use. Parking is available to the right of the boardwalk.
Beautiful views and not busy at all. Not a very big area, but worth the stop if our that way.
It's just as beautiful scenery as all the other lighthouses I've seen here. A little disappointed there is nothing that speaks about how many wrecks /or nationality of ships. This is still a functioning lighthouse and closed to the public.

Had A large order. The staff health carried out to my vehicle. Customer service above and beyond.
2 days in a row I have came through and got my regular order yesterday I got my bacon breakfast sandwich with no cheese and I had received it with cheese and the bacon not cooked. Was not fit to eat. Then today I got a plain bagel with Herb and garlic cream cheese ( pay 1$ for the spread ) and I received a plane bagel with plain cream cheese with not even enough on the bagel to notice it and hardly toasted. Multiple times I have got my grandmothers coffee ( medium black 3 sugar ) and took it home to her and had her tell me there was no sugar in it. Or the repeated chocolate milks that are spoiled. Or the ice Capps with no caramel or even sometimes cream. I’ve worked here in the past I know it’s FAST food and it’s easy to make mistakes but it shouldn’t be everyday. When I’m at the speaker I’m being rushed completely. The only good times I get the order 100% right is when night staff is on. I’m beyond disappointed with Souris Tim Hortons and very annoyed.
This is a Tim Hortons plain bagel lightly buttered and bacon the Pride Of Canadian coffee has let me down. The only reason I go is because I'm not doing Macdonalds for my morning Joe
Absolute menace while preparing the order. I ordered hot vanilla latte and everything bagel with herb and garlic cream cheese they made me the cold coffee and didn’t fill my bagel with cream cheese. I protest the coffee to change it but I was unsure about bagel and I opened after left the place. Person behind the cash and on coffee station were not serious about their job, disrespectful to me and laughing among themselves.
They were incredibly busy with the first day of lobster fishing today. They handled it like pros, extremely friendly and they were very fast for the large large orders that they had.
Best tea and coffee from a Tim’s ever. I miss it so much. Rarely ever a bad coffee, great service, great people!
The employees are very kind and give very good service every time I come
Hazel was a rockstar! Nailed our big order quickly and perfectly while doing other orders and helping her co-workers. Go Hazel!
