Small museum that is self guided, they do give a quick overview of the significance of the site which was a nice touch as everything else is on your own. You can explore the grounds as well as visit two gift shops Area is beautiful and there are other Montgomery sites to explore nearby
Stepping into Green Gables Heritage Place is like walking straight into Anne’s world 📖✨. The beautifully preserved farmhouse, complete with vintage details, makes you feel the story come alive. Strolling along Lovers’ Lane and the Haunted Woods Trail 🌳 was pure magic—every turn felt like a scene from the book. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, and happy to share fun tidbits about the history. Whether you’re a lifelong Anne fan or just love charming places with a rich past, this is a PEI must-see!
It gets a 4 star because of my love of Anne of Green Gables and the fact that it is the origonal house. The stories given in the front room where you pay admission were interesting, it was neat to be able to walk into Anne's very own room. Parking is located up on the hill behind the grounds. You can tour some of the main house. You can walk into Anne's room and another rooms. All other rooms were blocked off and you could just peek in. If it looks busy I would recommend coming back another time as the house would be too full to enjoy. There is a gift shop, but full of the same things you find at the other tourist attractions. There were lots of Anne dolls for purchase. I bought some overpriced salt water taffy for the novelty aspect. It looks like there used to be a restaraunt located in the gift shop building, it looked like it was not operational this season.
A nice place to spend an hour touring the actual house and grounds that inspired so much of Montgomery's works. The gift shops have a number of Green gables inspired keep sakes, and a number of books, one of which we picked up that is an original story reprint. Looks like I have some reading to do!
What a gem of a museum! Lucy’s story is told with such care and creativity—from the interactive exhibits to the stunning replica skeleton. The staff were warm and knowledgeable, making the visit both educational and inspiring. A must-see for anyone curious about our ancient past! 🦴✨
As a fan of Anne of Green Gables, I had always dreamed of visiting this house. It was fascinating and truly special. When I learned that Anne, Marilla, and Matthew never actually lived here, it hit me like a reality check—I wished I could stay in the story forever. Still, everything was wonderful, and I’m grateful to everyone who preserves this place.
Amazing this place is still run by the Campbell family and they are very knowledgeable on the history of the house and L.M Montgomerys life and experience in the house. It's a small museum but everything tells the story of how Anne and other of L.M Montgomery's characters came to be! I absolutely loved my time here. Walking down Liv's whispering lane in October was just magical. Even and cold wet day can't take away from the magic of the house and grounds.
This place is an absolute MUST for Anne/LM Montgomery fans. Park Corner as a whole feels like stepping into the world of Avonlea. The property really has the spirit of Green Gables, and you can tell the author got much of her inspiration for her stories from this special place. Highly recommend to spend a full day in Park Corner taking in the museum and beautiful sites around. This is just me, but I really enjoyed it here more than Green Gables Heritage Place in Cavendish - it just felt so much more authentic.

Super fun place. We were only adults and we had a lot of fun. The house has so many details and many scary moments. You can go through as many times as you want with the ticket entry. And also we enjoyed the garden, so beautiful and with some activities and food trucks.
Such a fun attraction. The mansion is quite large and has so many different rooms. It’s so kitschy but awesome! My kids loved it. Not too scary and no live actors so no one will touch you. The grounds are quite beautiful but it is dated and some things definitely need to be updated and fixed.
This was just fun! The house was 30-45 minutes. The gardens were very nice. We didn't walk around all of them, but it was over 90 that day, and there is not much shade. The only warning I will give about the house is that it is dusty, and the basement is damp. I have VERY mild asthma and my chest felt very heavy for about 30 minutes after we went through. Some good jump scares, and some nice old school horror references.
We had a blast! So much fun!🤩 From the manor, to the garden. And the ladies at the counter and the shop were friendly and sweet. Loved it.
Fun stop and a well done horror house! Went thru a couple of times to make sure we didn't miss anything!
A really fun haunted mansion, but only opens during daytime and there is an air canon on the top floor that is far too loud and it caused me to partially lose my hearing for an hour or two.
It was actually a bit scary! My 4-year-old daughter even asked to leave 😅 Very impressive, but maybe not the best choice for little kids!
Even in summer it’s worth the visit! At first i thought its a little pricey with 20$ per person, but it’s obvious that they put a lot of effort into the details and I really enjoyed every bit of it. The garden is also nice and well maintained.

We took our 3 boys (9,11,13) for the go carts and laser tag. We bought day passes and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and the fun was plenty. They recently re-paved the go cart track and it was perfect. Laser tag was super fun, we played at least 30 games. This place was far better than sandpit amusement park, especially the go carts.
What a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon! My son and I had a blast! Everything was clean and well maintained. Go Karts are fast n fun :) You can do everything once pretty quickly, so be prepared to do things more than once! They're all fun though!! We will go again!!
We had a great time here. The go karts are really fun and fast and the track is really smooth and interesting. We also tried laser tag and the batting cages. It was fun and well be back next year.
Had an absolute blast. We came during the day and then back later that evening. The staff are so helpful, caring and fun. They made sure all our crew was safe and had fun. Thank you to the staff for turning our summer trip into an epic core memory for our kiddos (and husbands).
We were at Burlington tonight, it was so hot and staff was in great spirits , our youngest daughter was on the go karts, the attendant made sure she was secure, gave her lots of extra instructions and prepped, because of the dryness dirt was in her face as driving she went through the barriers.. the owner & attendants were outstanding and responded in seconds to her.. some staff ran on foot and other in a gator…an amazing team they have there! It is our first time there and we will be back due to the outstanding services they provided! They were so reassuring and checked on her !!Keep up the amazing work! ❤️❤️🫶🫶
Not what we remembered… We visited Burlington Go Karts and Amusement as a big extended family: parents, siblings, kids, and all up from across Canada during our island vacation. I had fond memories of visiting as a kid and was really looking forward to sharing the experience with the next generation. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Only 2 bumper boats were working, and the batting cages weren’t functioning properly. The laser tag experience was uncomfortable. The employee’s kids were in the game aggressively targeting anyone who entered, yelling at staff and guests alike, which took away from the fun. We had purchased all-day bracelets to make the most of the park, but between the issues and the lack of shade on a hot, sunny day, it just didn’t feel worth it. If you go, definitely bring a hat or umbrella. It does seem pet friendly, which was a small plus. No waiting, which was good. Only line was really the go carts and you only wait 8-16 minutes. Going on the weekday was probably good. The place wasn’t packed. While it was still nice to get the whole family out of the cottage for a bit, we likely won’t be returning on future island trips.
Unfortunately I have to give at least 1 star. The staff are absolutely miserable!!! We visited this place excited for a fun evening out, but left filled with anxiety and frustration. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. The girl at the cash argued with me about things I never said (the height of my child she hadn’t measured, etc. It felt like she was looking for a fight. The employees running the go-karts were yelling at people who didn’t properly know how to run the go karts (for their first time…) and they were openly talking negatively about customers once they left the track – and we could clearly hear them while waiting in line. Completely unacceptable behavior. There were also some children (definitely under age 10) that were staying in PEI for the week and offered to help run the go karts… the staff ALLOWED this!!! Unemployed minors were turning on and off our go karts and moving them around with no helmets on. Again, incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior!! We ended up not even using our mini golf tickets because the environment was so uncomfortable and the vibe was awful. After waiting nearly two hours in line for go-karts and being treated like trash, they still refused to refund the mini golf tickets. To top it off, the canteen was out of basically everything. This place was a total disappointment and left us all in a bad mood. I would strongly advise against wasting your time or money here.
My wife and I were traveling with our 8 year old and 12 year old. We went for the family bracelet package and had a blast! Multiple times on the go-karts, a round of mini golf, several rounds of laser tag (I strangely enjoyed shooting my family), bumper boats and batting cages! The little guy is too young for the air soft, but we'll be back for another round. The staff were all helpful and super friendly and the park was clean. Lovely scenic PEI setting too, overlooking the river. It was a great place to have fun with the family!

This place exceeded all expectations. Very well maintained course for the price with a nice variety of holes. The staff were so kind and the people made the experience that much better. Highly recommend if you’re looking to mix in some other courses on the island at a more affordable price!
Our local ladies Golf group recently played this executive nine hole course. It was tucked in off the Route 2 way we entered. New roads to discover on the Island. On exiting it was a breeze. RTE 6 out of Kensington ran right along this course! Red Sands greeted us with ample driving carts, beautiful Club House, great scenery, four Par 3 and 5 Par 4. Two hours of fun and a few lost balls. We enjoyed playing here.
Wonderful hidden gem of a 9 hole course. Staff could not be more pleasant & helpful. The course is very well kept and the greens were in excellent condition. Got paired up with a couple of members (husband & wife) - made the round even more pleasant. Will play again the next time we are in PEI.
A really nicely kept 9 hole course which I found great to practice my game on. The staff were extremely friendly and the golfers were also very friendly. The play rate is around 1.5 hours and isn’t too challenging of a course. The pace can be slower here so I’d recommend an earlier tee-time if you can swing it. When I’m in the area again, I will return.
For a 9 hole course this is my favorite by far, Course was in incredible condition the two rounds I played there.. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic 9 hole course. An absolute steal for $34 for 18 holes! Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Lots of elevation changes and scenic views. A very good workout if you’re walking! Highly recommend playing this course while you’re visiting PEI!
Great course 9 hole no par 5 greens exceptional same green keeper for 29years
It is one of the wonderful places with breathtaking views in PEI among golf clubs. I would like to recommend this place for family activities or like a place where you can get a lot of fun with friends.

We travelled all the way from Trinidad and Tobago to visit these stables. The owners were so accommodating and friendly. It was my first time riding a horse and it was quite an experience. I had Bella and my husband road Daisy. The trainers stayed with us right through giving us guidance and encouragement and we rode across a beautiful scenic route through agricultural land. It was an amazing experience with these majestic creatures! I would definitely recommend for beginners! They also have for all levels and even a sunset ride which I'm sure was amazing! The horses are happy and quite healthy and even a bit mischievous cause they like stopping for grass on the trail.. it's a must see if you love horses! Max the cat was also a sweetheart ❤️
My boyfriend and I had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Mare Hotel for 3 nights! It was incredible! We arrived to farm fresh eggs and the biggest smile and hug from Nana, who took excellent care of us! Then the barn cats!!! The sweetest bunch of babies you will ever meet! Luna girl (puppy) was so sweet and made it feel so much like home! The horses, over 40 of them, beautiful, and friendly and they were right outside our door! Now the staff!!! Let me tell you we felt so at home there! Everyone was quick with a hello and to see if you needed anything to make your stay better!!! Jasmine and Mark and all the staff made our trip so good!!! The barn was so clean and fresh, the horses were very well looked after!! We spent 3 night at this farm and I wouldn’t change a thing!!! It felt very inclusive and the vibe was amazing!!! We can’t wait to go back again!!! Thx so much Venture Stables!!! You guys know how special your place is to us now!!! Cyn and Richie 😊😊😊
Best place in all of existence, if you’re looking for a chill relaxing ride or even a fun spunky one for those with good experience this is the place. Not only are the people working there so amazing and literally the nicest people ever but their animals are obviously well cared for and immensely loved!! They let us know they even have some rentals on the property to immerse yourself into this bliss even more!
A Truly Magical Stay at Venture Stables – “Mellow Marley” Camper This was my second time staying here, and I can honestly say it was just as magical as the first! Jasmine and her staff are absolutely amazing hosts—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. The property itself feels like stepping into another world: picturesque, peaceful, and filled with charm. The photos simply can’t capture how special it feels in person. You wake up to the sounds of happy animals, breathtaking views, and the friendliest people. From horses, goats, pigs, dogs, kittens to chickens and even the famous Tom Cruise the turkey—every moment is full of joy. Whether you want to cuddle animals, go horseback riding, or simply relax and soak in the country atmosphere, there’s something for everyone. The camper “Mellow Marley” is cozy, clean, and comfortable, with everything you need—fridge, coffee maker, and even an outdoor kitchen. The outdoor shower and full bath across the yard were a highlight, letting us rinse off under the open sky and reconnect with nature in the most refreshing way. What I love most is how this stay allows you to unplug, breathe fresh air, and experience farm life firsthand, while still feeling completely cared for. It’s not just a stay—it’s an experience. Both times I’ve visited, I’ve left with wonderful memories, new friends (both human and furry!), and a longing to come back again. If you’re visiting PEI and want something unique, heartwarming, and unforgettable, this is the place. A true hidden gem and easily one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had!
Incredibly nice staff and horses. Great experience. Wish we could ride more off the road and near local lakes. However, the experience was still amazing.
The stable is spacious, with beautifully cared-for horses. My daughter was given a spirited horse that she absolutely loved. We’ll definitely be coming back again!
Such a wonderful experience for beginner riders! The sunset ride was so peaceful and the horses are gorgeous and full of personality!
Relaxing ride through the surrounding farms and countryside. Lots of barn animals to pet while the friendly staff saddles up the horses. Perfect for families.

Jeff was a great host and tour guide. He was very friendly and accommodating, as I showed up at 4:30pm and he was able to fit me in for the 5pm tour. I highly recommend checking out PEI from the water and Malpeque Bay Kayak tours is the best way I've found yet.
An absolutely amazing trip! Jeff was phenomenal as a guide and really made the experience enjoyable. Couldn’t recommend him more! Kayaking was one of the high points on our visit to Prince Edward Island. If you’re going to the Island absolutely look up Jeff and this company!
My boyfriend and I loved our evening. We did the gulf tour kayaking in tandem. Jeff is very friendly and shares a lot of his experiences and knowledge. We had a very nice time and the island is just beautiful. We even saw two seals ! Jeff also accommodated us so that the weather would be on our side, I am very grateful for this last minute change !
Jeff is super knowledgeable, adventurous, and a great guide for the kayak tours. We were visiting PEI and highly recommend spending part of your day on one of the various tour options with him. Learn from us and bring bug spray as it’s buggy in the parking lot/at the building to sign paperwork and pay, but once you reach the beach and are on the water the mosquitoes won’t bother you. Directions: GPS Cabot Beach Provincial Park and hang a right at the end of King St. Follow the road towards the playground and find the lighthouse as pictured.
I very much enjoyed the Malpeque Bay kayak tour on Saturday. Jeff is a knowledgeable host and leads the tours very well. No only do you get the pleasure of a kayak trip, you also, should you wish to, learn a lot about PEI life. Jeff was alert to catering for the kind of trip the group wanted. I have kayaked a number of times before but never on the sea so I enjoyed this new challenge. This is a trip suitable for that first sea experience. We were lucky to have great weather and I very much enjoyed the experience.
We are so glad to have had this experience ! The kayak tour to hog island (untouched by human) is worth it ! You may have some small waves fun and a beautiful view of the cliff on the coast ! The business owner is so nice and chill. He had some mosquito repellent planned for us and watched our things while we change. And, he made his own kayak ! A tour length is avg. 3 hours. Make sure to call the day before to book your slot and check the weather/sea conditions!
I did the Gulf Tour to Hog Island this past weekend, which was fantastic! Perfect conditions for an evening paddle and definitely worth the trip over if you are on the island. Jeff was a great guide, knowledgeable about the area and happy to answer questions. I would definitely go on another tour with them in the future and won't hesitate to recommend the company to friends.
We kayaked and did paddle boarding here several years ago. Ann and Graham were excellent instructors and guides. Ann offered an excellent interpretive program of the marine life and birds of the area. Both excursions were great. Book in advance and bring your water shoes!

This is a very small building with a huge display! Totally worth the stop. A great collection of authentic artifacts from many of our world conflicts with a focus on maritime participation. Free of charge, donations greatly appreciated. Again, totally worth it.
It's a nice little green area park with a beautiful monument . What's very cool is across the street In a very unassuming looking like a closed in large gazebo across the street ( maybe a bit down from here across the street ) in front of where the Legion used to be. Is a amazing little war history museum. That place is filled with memorabilia uniforms photos ,actual pieces from the war. I would highly recommend going to the park to look at the moment then go over to the mini mumuse after .
Love this place so much. My boyfriend is a huge history buff and this is his favourite spot to come in the summer. Him and the lovely man who’s usually working there chat for hours. We make sure to stop every time we’re in PEI!
For a museum small in size it boasts a wonderful collection of artifacts. It does a spectacular job of highlighting Islanders at war and Canada's military history.
Happened across this place by chance this week. The young gentleman was very helpful and explained lots. Took the time to engage with my two boys ages 11 and 8 and answer their questions and showed them lots of interesting things.
Awesome museum and nice guy working in there. Very interesting! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really nice spot with craft beer on tap and plenty of selection. Pool, shuffleboard, and VLT's

Great little art gallery with friendly staff. Lots of local artists showcased and often an artisan working the shop. I did find it tricky to find as I'd followed Google maps to the street and it's probably about 70m off the street, in past the old railway and the little shops there.
Great local art gallery highlighting local artists with different media types. worth the visit here.
If you want local art from local artists that's the place to go! A wonderful selection.
So many beautiful paintings to choose from...including my own ;)
Great variety of local art, both original and prints. Great spot for a PEI souvenir.

I had a wonderful time at Tony's gallery. I was interested in a painting for my home. It took me roughly 30 minutes to decide which piece I wanted as they were all so beautiful. I ended up getting torn between two paintings and went with the one I thought would best suit the home. Every time I pass the painting it creates a calming feeling. Im so happy to have visited Tonys gallery and will definitely be back. Such a talented artist. Thanks Tony
We had seen this artist work at The Dunnes and wanted to check out a bigger selection so popped by the studio. So many fantastic pieces!! They were so kind. 10/10. We left with a great piece for our cottage in Stanley Bridge. Highly recommend.
Beautiful gallery & setting. Amazing artist. Has really captured the “soul” of PEI. Bought two framed pieces. Had a hard time narrowing it down to just two.
We saw the road sign and stopped. I'm glad we did! Tony is a charming man and an amazing artist. I bought two prints and my sister bought a couple prints and some cards.
Beautiful gallery filled with originals, prints and framed work. We visited and returned to make a final purchase which we now proudly have on display in our home. Excellent and friendly service. Ample parking
Beautiful artwork. A pleasant vibe of painted photographs. Unexpected and elegant. Great colors and the depth of shade is remarkable. We bought 3 pieces and left satisfied and impatient to get them in frames!
Lovely artwork. We left with two pieces that are now proudly hanging in our home.
Love the art work and he is always coming up with new scenes.Keep up the great work Tony and Hugh!!

I can't say enough good things about Friend's and flowers. Spectacular customer service and great products. To give you an example - I live in Alberta and had a special request to surprise my partner with flowers. They were able to accommodate my request with minimal notice and even helped further securing a cake and delivery out to our cottage. If you're contemplating flowers or anything related I highly recommend using Friends and flowers.
Friends & Flowers did a great job on the bouquets and the boutonnieres for my wedding party. I were so happy with the roses' colours, and all the bouquets looked very pretty. Their service meets my expectation, and Nancy, Mya, and Lianne were very friendly and helpful. They knew what they were talking, and the bouquets were exactly like what I want for my wedding .
Nancy was a pleasure to work with and the florals were beautiful and very long lasting!
The ladies at Friends & Flowers are absolutely amazing and so easy to work with! I went in only a couple weeks before my wedding and they organized everything so well and I received the most beautiful flower arrangement I have ever seen! It completed my own outfit! Thank you again!
I would give zero stars if it were available. I ordered from the Friends & Flowers website. I picked one of the options they had pictured. The following day I get an email asking if I could pay more money because their expenses had gone up. The email stated $10 more would help. I can't believe the costs went up literally over night. I canelled my order. What a ridiculous way to run a business. If your prices change then update your own pricing on your own website.
Wonderful place to shop! So helpful and friendly...
We were so impressed with the wonderful people at this shop. They went above and beyond for us this past Mother's Day (2020). They are incredibly kind and caring and our Mom absolutely loved everything. Thankyou so very very much.
Visited this store 2 weeks ago! Beautiful decor pieces ! Could spend all day and still not see everything! Loved it ! Staff were super friendly.

The store is so well stocked! Fabric beautifully displayed. The staff were very friendly. Appeared to be a community gathering place. They offer classes as well. If I lived here, I would be a frequent customer.
I came upon this shop by accident this morning. What a wonderful surprise !! I think I actually gasped in delight when I walked in. Gorgeous fabrics. Lots of precuts snd coordinates. And absolutely the nicest lady to help me. I’m here for another four days. I might have to go back!!
First time in the shop. The lady running the shop was extremely kind and helpful! I don’t live in the area but I will definitely make it back to shop!
What a great shop! Beautiful fabrics, friendly and super helpful staff. I saw so much that I wanted I will return soon!
Such a lovely little shop chock FULL of beautiful fabrics. Gorgeous batiks, florals, and so much more. Such a great selection for such a tiny shop! Update: loving the new location!! My mother in law and I come every summer when we visit PEI. :)
One of the best quilt shops on PEI.
I absolutely love this store!!! Such a large selection of beautiful fabric, precuts. The staff are all so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!!!
Love this shop! I stop in every time I get to PEI. The owner is the so helpful, but not pushy. Quality fabrics, but not overpriced.
