Great for the curious and the curios. People watching delight and a great way to spend an afternoon with friends family and pets. If you collect anything you'll probably find something to add to your collection. Everyone is friendly as well and enjoy explaining their items to you. Bring cash! Although a short distance away you can find an ATM at the garage, and some merchants will accept debit or visa but best to have cash. And tones of cash if you're anything like me.
Handmade products, birdhouses, handmade salt and pepper shakers, fresh veggies, maple syrup products, nice wooden furnitures, and antiques. Lots parkings, and a wonderful place to meet lots paw friends!
I use to come here every summer but it has been harder the last couple of years. Finally had a chance to return and the market has changed so much! I prefer what it was like before. More great antiques and less over priced junk.. and I noticed that there is a lot more newer crafty items than past years... Some of the crafty items are super original and really well made. I was truly impressed. Overall, if I compare it to the times I went a few years back, I was a little disappointed but over all I had a pretty decent time.
Nice place to visit on a Saturday and hunt for antiques, get some fresh veggies or even venture into trying delicious Ethiopian cuisine.
Love this market ! Great way to spend a day out of the city. If you enjoy antiques, vintage things, old kitchenware or furniture, handmade products, homemade food..or even dogs (cause they're everywhere♡)... The owners are amazing too. You will love the place! Go check out Pete in front of the cantine. He has an impressive collection of kitchenware and deco !
Found it by accident after having breakfast in the area (Cozy Cafe). Very large free market with some good deals. I would go again (and take more pictures).
Very nice place to go. The view is magnificent. You have lots of stuff to see if you want to go there for the first time. My suggestion, choose early morning because if not you'll suffer from heat. There are lots of nice things to see. The prices are mostly affordable and the people there are extremely nice and easygoing. You'll have fun there.
Can't wait to go back. Today was my first time. I didn't get to see all the kiosks but what I saw I LOVED. This would be a 10 out of 5 stars. Get there early as parking fills up really fast. Wear proper shoes for walking. Bring lots of $$$ YOU won't regret it. There are bathrooms and out houses. Food, gems, and treasurers to be found. When your done take a scenic drive around Hudson qc. Beautiful!

Beautiful local beach. Free parking, no entrance fee. Just make sure the water level is not too high. We've been there many times but early spring the water level is high and you have less sandy beach.
Parked and walked through forest trails, very nice! Nice little beach in the area without having to go far. Clean & quiet, ducks roaming by. People were on their paddle boards. Bring a cooler, beach towels, and relax for an afternoon.
Small park that ends in a beach. Depending on the day, this beach can. E more or less crowded. The beach is quite small and family friendly. The water is not clear but is calm and shallow. I wouldn’t go very far though. The closest parking is for residents but there is parking nearby at a walking distance. There are no changing rooms but there’s portable bathrooms one of which is wheelchair accessible. If you’re looking for a quiet local retreat, this may be great.
THIS BEACH IS CLOSED (May 2024) Was very disappointed to see that this beach is closed to everyone. Drove from far away to enjoy this cute and quaint beach with my dog for nothing! Shocked to see that it was closed and hope that it will be open again sometime soon. Took a few minutes to check it out and wow what a great spot! Very disappointing.
Dear community members, i hope this message finds you well. I would like to bring your attention to an issue that has impacted our beloved Sandy Beach. In the past, this spot held a special charm, but unfortunately, it has now become laden with various restrictions. As depicted in the attached image, my vehicle was diligently parked on the designated right side of the street Saturday, precisely from 2 PM to 5 PM. Despite what appears to be a clear indication on the signage, regrettably, I received an unexpected and rather costly $86 parking ticket. I kindly request your understanding and support in raising awareness of this matter. Let us come together as a community to address these challenges and seek resolutions that will ensure fairness and clarity in parking regulations. Thank you for your attention to this pressing issue, and let us strive for positive changes that benefit us all.
Great, hidden small beach spot… Really clear and beautiful sand on a nice Oka’s Lake shore DOGS ALLOWED AFTER 17.00 Hs… From the parking to the beach there’s a nice 15 minutes walk through the forest.
Love that I can bring my dog. Only downside is that they have changed the times that you can, which is only after 5pm. Previously we were allowed to go all day which was great because you could enjoy the whole day with friends and your dog. The beach is well maintained and clean!
I don’t understand why it’s closed. I even had a double tickets me and my friend cause I wanted to show her this place that I loved . On that day I just came back from the north of Quebec on the cote Nord for more than a year and I had total access to beautiful huge beaches and nature and parks like in baie Comeau pointe aux outardes pointe Lebel , never had any problems to access 😡. What’s going on in here at Montreal . SO SO DISAPPOINTED. Any way to take money from us .

Our friends have been going to the Hudson Playhouse for many years. They keep suggesting that we go too but it was easier to go to a movie in town than driving out to Hudson. I received an email from them that Bowser and Blue were to appear there. I checked out their YouTube videos and we decided to go. For 1 1/2 hours we were laughing. They were excellent. We had such a good time we bought 2 tickets to The Santana Experience by Persuasion. Again we had a great time. All 8 in the band put on a fantastic show. It seems now that the Hudson Village Theater will see us often.
Wonderful small town theatre with a variety of different style shows and plays. We just saw the play “Where you are” an excellent summer play with great actors and production team directed by Ellen David. Please support local theatres.
A fantastic cozy environment to see local productions. This was my first time going and I definitely will go back.
We've been going to the Christmas pantomime for several years. Great outing for the kids. Nice small venue, so all seating is excellent. Lots of parking. Easy to get to.
Performances are terrific for anaffordable price. We saw 9-5. It was great
Love this great little live theatre in the charming village of Hudson. The show 'Memories of Rock & Roll' was awesome. We will be back!
This is a very cute, larger than you think inside, theater hall. I went to see The Full Monty which was Amazing! The actors are so talented and pulled off the yourkshire accent very well. (I think some of them must have been Yorkshire people mind you) Plenty of parking spaces around the theater and also great nearby places to eat. A great place to visit.
The Full Monty. This was the best production I have ever seen at the Hudson Theatre. Kudos to the whole team. In a world full of so much sadness this was just what the doctor ordered. Never stopped laughing from start to finish. Congratulations on a magnificent production.

I am new to the game of golf. I have played a few courses around and on the island of Montreal over the past few months and found, so far, that Falcon, is by far the best-kept and fun course to play. It's absolutely beautiful. The greens and fairways are perfectly mowed and the roughs are not too rough. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Just make sure that when the Marshall tells you to hurry, you hurry. Beginners will find it almost impossible to play a full game unless you go at the end of the day so no one is behind you.
Absolutely loved our experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was delicious and clearly made with care. The ambiance was warm, stylish, and inviting — perfect for a relaxed evening out. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great vibe. Highly recommend this gem if you’re looking for quality food in a beautiful setting!
Beautiful & well maintain course and green. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Lots of bunkers! But worth it to try it out.
Falcon Golf Club is a gem... the course is in great shape, with beautiful fairways and greens that are unparalleled. The ambience is relaxed, top-notch and welcoming, making it perfect for golfers and those who may just want to enjoy a drank or few in great company. The service stands out, and host Sandeep & owners go above and beyond to make every visit special. Their warmth & hospitality make you feel right at home. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a memorable experience.
This is by far the most amazing public golf course around. The value for the price is unbeatable, and I absolutely love spending time here. The layout is thoughtfully designed, and the course quality is consistently outstanding year after year. A true gem for any golf enthusiast!
Course was great, in great shape. Had an awful experience with the starter on hole 1. We had 4 tee times going off. Starter gave us nothing but attitude, felt extremely unwelcome, then he continued to tell the group behind us we were drinking our own beer and we were going to be slow (after we purchased two coolers of beer from the clubhouse). Had not even finished the first hole by this point. Really ruined the round before it even started for us. Too bad because the course was nice but the round was tainted before it even started. Really disappointed.
First time playing Falcon on a very warm afternoon. A lovely course with lots of wide, expansive bunkers and tall mature trees. The grounds were in very good condition with attractive rolling fairways and well manicured rough. Most of the soil I encountered was yielding. Greens played at a consistent medium pace with few divots. I left my 9 iron on the 2nd hole and the marshal ensured it would be waiting for me at the club house (he offered to bring it directly to me but I said that wouldn't be necessary). As a high handicapper, I was able to play this course without any frustration. Its a smart, attractive layout that will reward more aggressive golfers will have plenty of chances for glory if they choose. #7 was my favorite hole but I found the back 9 to be more attractive then the front 9. Didn't have time to enjoy the clubhouse but the facilities looked very up to date and clean. I'm looking forward to playing again soon.
The course is tough but beautiful and very well maintained. Some of the marshals might benefit from a little therapy, but aside from that, I had a fantastic time.

A nice park overlooking the Ottawa River. Very peaceful. There are benches & picnic tables.
Love this small park. There’s picnic areas and access to a beach. The paths are well maintained and very quiet. Many people bring their kids and strollers.
This is a beautiful place to walk or even to have a picnic. There is parking available here and a lovely walking track by the water which makes you reach Sandy Beach, this hike was only approx 1km one way and very flat. “Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.
This place is beautiful, peaceful and clean. You can walk to the beach from here. The only turn off is that you need a permit to park here, if not, you get a ticket. The residents do not like not having parking when they get here, so they've made it mandatory to have a permit to be able to park. It kind of makes me feel like non residents are not welcomed. BUT there is a parking lot about 3-4 minutes walk away from the park.
Beautiful park with stunning views over the lake. There are also trails leading to Sandy Beach, and plenty of squirrels around if you want to watch some wildlife. Parking is available if you have a permit from the city.
Nice place to catch a sunset. Nice view. The only thing missing is a playground for families with young kids. There are plenty of picnic tables.
A very well-kept waterfront park in Hudson, right next to Sandy Beach. A tranquil and pretty spot to sit on a bench with a book or just take in the view. Bring your kayak to navigate the water, have a picnic or even go fishing!
Very short and nice hiking trail; it would have been perfect for dogs, unfortunately no dogs allowed. Nice sandy beach, but it’s closed currently due to the Covid.

Wonderful treasure hunt of gently worn high-end fashion and accessories for the whole family. More variety for women however. Staffed by loyal hardworking volunteers proceeds to local charities. Thank you for everything you do!
Every time I'm in town I check this place out. Fair prices, and fun stuff!
Very nice and clean premises. Beautiful clothes. Quaint building, and very polite staff. Only clothing for men and women clothing plus accessories. Higher prices than other Nova's. Lots of brand names.
Great merchandise and wonderful people
If you want cheap treasures this is the place. Now the expanded and two locations in Hudson. Truly awesome people work there. Cannot say enough about the staff. Also we wound some fondue sets, and antique lamps for undee $3!
Small but well stocked little thrift store. I purchased 3 items from here from their small plus size section. A little organization, maybe by sleeve length or color would really help. Many designer, interesting clothing items.
Hidden gem if your on a budget and even if your not this is your go to place for clothes you never know what you can find, which is the fun part. Wonderful staff and the prices are extremely affordable! Women and mens clothing available here. Have fun! And help the community....
Great find! Located in a small house, and crammed with used goods for people in need and treasure seekers. Nova provides an essential community service.

I found this place very very interesting and plan to visit in the summer. The volunteers put on a great show for us and loved the readings and the violin and piano presentation and I liked the hot apple cider they gave us. Congrats and thanks from THE KIRKLAND MANOR RETIREMENT HOME
Absolutely adored our visit. Sarah was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. This house and museum has so much history you feel like you’re transported back in time. I highly recommend a visit! Definitely will be coming back for tea 🫶
A true gem of a historic home, rooted in its past with staff (volunteers all) that bring forth their passion to preserve and present it at its best. Full of treasures all connected to the history of the home. Well worth a visit!
Wonderful spot for tea on the veranda
Beautiful historical house with friendly volunteers to show you around and spread their knowledge and love for it's history. Lots of very interesting and beautiful antiques for show and for sale as well.
Great little place to learn about local history. Had a cute little antique shop. Will go back for the music in the garden on Sunday
A little jewel. Wonderful tour guide. I truly enjoyed my visit.

A wonderful resource for people who find wild birds. And if you walk in the beautiful trail sometimes you get lucky as I was to see this barred owl
❌READ BEFORE GOING!❌ Horrible experience at this rescue. Look at all the bad reviews. I found a baby bird with a broken leg Thursday afternoon and brought it home. Fed it according to all the blog posts I saw online about what to feed that specific type of bird, kept it warm with a heat pad at low, kept it in a dark place, etc. He was happy, chirping and eating just fine. As I live far from this rescue, I emailed them asking if we could drop off the bird earlier than their opening hours because I knew someone who was driving there on Friday morning. They emailed me on Friday, after said time, saying no they only accept birds during their opening hours. So I replied no problem I will bring it as soon as I can (since I work all day and night on Friday) and never had a response back. First thing Saturday morning, I drove 50 mins to bring the bird there just to be given shit about how I didn’t take care of it properly and how I should have brought the bird sooner. The lady told me it’s MY fault that the bird WILL DIE because I didn’t bring it soon enough and I didn’t feed it what they believe it should be fed although everyone online has fed this type of bird with success. She kept blaming ME and giving me shit. I do not understand what is the need to give comments like that to people who are trying to HELP. If I would have left the bird in the parking lot with the broken leg it would have died there days ago. It is NOT my fault it jumped out of it’s nest and got into that situation. So quit blaming the people who try to help these animals and rather concentrate on appreciating the fact that they did work and drove out there to try to save the bird. I wasn’t feeding it bread, I wasn’t feeding it chocolate, I wasn’t killing the bird. I would never go to this place ever again. I’m sure they will just euthanize it like they did to the rest of them that are injured. I hope the owner of this place can see this comment and bring change to the staff that works in the back. And they DARE ask for a DONATION for this kind of service. What a shame!
Le Nichoir is a wild bird rescue. They are open 7 days a week, and the young lady who greeted us was knowledgeable and lovely. We deposited the injured grackle we found, and the woman gave me a file number so I can check its progress.
We were greeted by a very courteous and knowledgeable lady. She informed us about the steps they will take in hopes for the young, injured, purple finch that we brought in and how it would someday be released if she recovers well. It was so worth the trip to Hudson. Thank you for all your time and efforts.
I found a juvenile starling with a dislocated leg, i spent a week to find somewhere taking care of bird. No private vet accepted the wild bird and finally some one recommended le nichoir. Except for injured leg he was so friendly, willing to live , playful and great appetite. I had a funny feeling that guys will have him to sleep in this place because it’s not a native bird and not a conservation concern, then said i will take a chance maybe they can fix the bird but bigggg mistake. I followed up and noticed he was euthanized same day due to a fracture near ankle. Im just shocked and can’t stop crying.
We brought several birds in the past but it was the first time in their new building. It's just a beautiful and amazing place. And the people are so incredible and kind. Can't wait to get some good news of my poor mourning dove. I hope everything will be alright and that she is in better condition that it looked like when we caught her yesterday. Let's keep donating to keep this place running! It's so amazing to know we have a safe haven for all our injured winged friends out there!
It is a wonderful organization! If you find an injured bird that’s where you go for aid. They walk you through how to capture the injured if you need it…appreciated this on my first call. Not only do they do everything humanly possible to get the injured back into their habitat but they also provide you with the number designated to the bird should you wish to call for an update! Fantastic staff doing wonderful work!
I found a fledgling phoebe that had fallen out of its nest. I called and was immediately told what steps to take, to try to get the parent birds to find and feed him. When that didn’t work, they asked me to bring him into their center in Hudson, which I did. They are so busy, but very well organized. I will be calling them back to find out the status of this poor baby (one of the lucky ones, who was saved, but I felt badly that he’s separated from his family). The staff is friendly, informative, and quick to respond. Very professional organization. Photos: 1)- the new woodpecker room; 2)- The phoebe fledgling (who hungrily chirped all the way to the center, in the car).
