La Halte des Pèlerins is a family-run winery located just 5 minutes from the town center. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the vineyard and facilities, learning about the history of winemaking and tasting delicious wines. Wonderful experience. Excellent wine-tasting provided by extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Patrick — Google review
Was so fun time to taste wines. Good explanation, nice wine and all laugh left happy moment for me. Want to visit and buy ice wine - the best one we three picked!
HJ S — Google review
We had an incredible experience. This was by far the best wine tour ever. The conversation was amazing, the tour was NOT rushed, and the wines were perfectly balanced and delicious. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful place.
Alexander A — Google review
Super friendly staff. The owners make a point to greet you and chat with you. Heidi was super cute with her jokes. This is a family owned biz and I love their story of how they began their operations by helping the pilgrims who are on their way to the shrine. That why the name. Owners described the wine making process. You get to taste 4 types of wines in 16 bucks. Parking available. Now I know why it is the # 2 spot on things to do in Sherbrooke
Anand K — Google review
Wonderful wines and very friendly and helpful staff. The tasting is very relaxed. Well worth a visit!
Edwin R — Google review
Great experience. The owner was there, bilingual, friendly and knowledgeable. A nice cross section of wine types and flavors. Our tasting was supposed to be 4 wines, and they served 7. Very happy
Joshua G — Google review
We checked online for opening hours and it said open till 5pm. We arrived around 12 and completely shut down. We drive from far maybe update hours of operation so that others don’t waste their time to go to your vineyard

Lac des Nations in Sherbrooke, Quebec has a rich history dating back thousands of years, with the First Nations settling in the region and territorial battles between the Mohawk and Abenaki. The lake is formed by a dam across a section of the Magog River and offers a 2-mile promenade for walking or biking around its circumference, perfect for bird-watching. The 4.
Nice, calm and beautiful walk around the whole lake, with lots of places to stop, sit and enjoy the scenery.

Great space for an outdoor walk in an urban city. Would be nice to have some public signs setting expectations for tourist as to distance and how long it takes.

There is a running way all around the lake which is 4.5 km approximately and you can do running or walking every afternoon after your work to getting refresh mentally and enjoying the atmosphere of the lake and runners. If you get tired, lay down on the numerous benches and get relaxed by watching the lake or sunset. If you wanna visit Sherbrooke city, don't ever miss this magnificent part of the city.

Parc national du Mont-Orford

National park
Campground
Nestled between the cities of Magog and Orford, Parc national du Mont-Orford is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The park offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, cycling, skiing, and snowshoeing in its protected landscape of forests, lakes, and rocky peaks. Families can enjoy the nearly 200-acre property with accommodations ranging from cozy rooms to rustic cabins.
Absolutely beautiful park with loads of trails for beginners to experts. Great areas for a lot of different activities and some truly beautiful wildlife too. You can rent spots for tents if you want to stay here more than a day. There are good restroom facilities as well.
Filip G — Google review
It was super busy the day I went for a hike- maybe one of the last gorgeous fall days. That meant the trail was much busier than I'm used to. It was rare to be alone. Like all SEPAQ parks, it's well appointed and maintained but I didn't give it 5 stars (which I gave to Mégantic) because I found the trails weren't as clearly marked. It was easy to get confused about which way to go and several people that day were off trail. I'll go back in winter for snowshoeing.
Isabel B — Google review
Beautiful, well maintained trails. Huge selection of activities for all ages. Lots of dog friendly trails. Plenty of equipment to rent from fat bikes to trailers and canoes.
Dibs ! — Google review
Beautiful National park. We stayed one night in the campsite. Excellent hiking, mountain biking, water activities. Clean and well equipped sites. The only down side is the cost. It cost us to $95 to pitch our small tent for the night (2 adults, 1 young child). If you have the Sepaq National parks card it's $20 cheaper. We also didn't book ahead so that might be a savings too. It was still worth it because of the beautiful space and amenities, but quite pricey for camping. We loved this park and would like to have stayed longer to enjoy more of the hiking.
Ruth M — Google review
The campground is great but the power tripping guards really ruined our stay. From the first night to the last, the guards would come every 30 minutes to our campground and harass us, coming up with new rules every time. Very disappointing to see where this is going, if you are more than 4 guests I advice you book elsewhere. Special note to the guard Alexy Kingsbury, particularly unpleasant and arrogant, you should find another job elsewhere if you can’t talk to customers.
Julien B — Google review
A very beautiful parc with plenty of hiking trails and relaxing beach. Parking is east, plenty of breathtaking views and well guided. One of the easy trails we took is very suitable for a baby stroller (it should be equipped for off-road tracks).
Elias M — Google review
A beautiful national park with several different trekking and hiking trails for different difficulty levels. I am definitely going back to this place again. Super close to Montreal as it is a 90 minute drive away.
Dipta D — Google review
This provincial park has a large camping site, with a beach. Visitors who want to access the beach can do so without having to camp there, but the cost for 2 people is 30$, pretty expensive for a few hours at a small beach, but when you need to cool down you pay the price. Do not forget to pack a lunch if your there for the day, not much to eat at the store. You can rent a kayak. Good size parking.

It is home to over 65,000 objects and specimens illustrating the diversity and evolution of life on Earth. Visitors can explore a circuit featuring 17 outdoor murals with trompe-l'oeil style, accompanied by the Muralis application that brings the frescoes to life through augmented reality technology.
Stopped in to look around on a rainy day in Sherbrooke, and we were not disappointed! This is a quirky, but educational and interactive science museum. Learned so much about squid, octupus, birds, bears, and the history of the planet! The staff were very sweet. They have a cafe and a little gift shop too!
Blair B — Google review
It's small but very well organized and fun! Many options to explore. You can watch documentaries, get coffee, and ask for the interactive show of the history of the region, it's definitely worth it. Beside animals you can also find old fishing and hunting gear. For tourists I suggest you start with this museum to understand the story of Sherbrooke before starting your trip.
Amir A — Google review
This place is a great place to bring your kids. Prices are very reasonable, at home this place would be crazy expensive. Had lots to do, hands on, loved it in there
Judy — Google review
Visited here midweek, there is free parking nearby reserved for the museum and also plenty of paid road parking outside. Really friendly and helpful reception staff who organised one of the interactive sessions in English. Musuem is across several floors, the wild animal floor is very impressive, kids will love it. A must visit if in the area.
Paul — Google review
2021 December 4.5★ A small museum with 2 full levels of exhibits, the other levels are considerably smaller. Free parking is available on the side. While this museum is small, it's displays are beautiful. Absolutely stunning pieces of well arranged art. Wonderfully elegantly placed and put together with pride. Currently on the main floor, you'll find historic pieces from different regions. Historic pieces that tell stories of the past with focus on nature. Some pieces in the collection are absolutely intriguing. On the same floor, there's an interactive 4D experience showcase telling the history of Sherbrooke. Kids loved it as they get to be immersed in the process. On the upper floor, there's a display called Alter@nima, wildlife taxidermy is displayed and arranged beautifully. Look at the pictures yourself and see! Better yet, if you're in the area, stop by. It'll only take about 2 hours of you take time to admire the settings and attend the interactive program. In the basement, it's a small display for kids, a tornado machine, earth quake machine and 2 rooms for play. One is a colors based area, the other... I'm not so sure of. This floor was a bit underwhelming. There's an area for sitting. Maybe a classroom style display. While the actual displays are limited as there's limited space here, i thought it was like artwork with what they had. Would come by if you haven't been. I think it would be good for visitors.
K W — Google review
For a small local museum, it was surprisingly entertaining. The displays were very informative and of high quality. The diversity of the exhibits kept the tour very interesting. They had several interactive exhibits that kept my three children involved and enthusiastic about what they were experiencing. Definitely a great way to spend a couple of hours with your family. An awesome rainy day activity. I would definitely recommend this museum.
Jay J — Google review
I visited the museum last Sunday and the lady in the reception was so welcoming. I lived the way the expositions were designed and how they label each item. The earthquake simulator was my favorite.
Gema G — Google review
Great place for the family. This museum is also on the "passeporte" program through the tourist office to save a bit of money. The 4-D presentation was really quite good. That alone is nearly worth the entire entrance fee. Lots of interactive displays to keep the young, curious minds busy.

From tube sliding, snowboarding, and skiing to hiking, snowshoeing, and mountain biking, there's something for everyone. The park's highest point reaches 333 meters above sea level, providing stunning views of Jacques Cartier Park and the city of Sherbrooke.
Mont Bellevue is beautiful and amazing despite the season. In Winter it is magical. Great place to go for a walk, run, hike , cycle or ski. There’s so much to do. Dogs are allowed. It’s dark at night so better to have a light. Also ideal for kids
Barbara A — Google review
Plenty of large and easy trails for all ages. Can be a bit annoyingly crowded when there are all the mountain bikes classes though. Nice view from the summit. Lots of parking spaces.
Lou P — Google review
This place is flipping awesome in my opinion. The staff is super nice and patient, the mountain its self for skiing and snowboarding is perfect for first timers. The trails are easier than other bigger mountains such as Orford but they're fun. I've also been hiking there and it's really pretty, especially during the fall season!!! Over all, it's a pretty chill place and lots of people like the poutine they serve btw 😉
Lacey — Google review
Great area for a walk, it's not flat, but good for all ages, various trails - you can bike cycle as well. Plenty of parking, well maintained and popular spot.
Leonid C — Google review
The best view in Sherbrooke, the Jacques Cartier park & Sherbrooke city can be seen from the top.

Located in downtown Sherbrooke, the Granada Theatre is a historic Canadian landmark that has been repurposed as a versatile venue for various events and shows. Originally a cinema, it now hosts banquets, conferences, launches, and live performances while retaining its period decor. The theatre's rich history and unique ambiance make it an ideal setting for concerts and cultural gatherings with its impressive acoustics.
Great place to see some of the best shows in town. Seat space in the balcony can be a bit tight and press on the knees if you're 6+ feet.
Erick T — Google review
Loved it! The place it’s lovely and has such amazing architectural features!! I liked that we could hear the show from the bar lineup! Only down side is the seating, I sadly had a taller person in front of me so I couldn’t see all but I saw enough to enjoy the show 🥰🥰 will definitely consider returning in the future
Alycia C — Google review
Vintage feel, nevertheless the sound still vibrating beautifully throughout its dated walls.
Jill S — Google review
Awesome cultural place for concerts and other events with perfect acoustics and lovely atmosphere of an old Italian? city. Visited during the Dead South concert and it was spectacular! One star down due to the price of one beer can - 1/5th of a ticket price for one beer is just not cool.
Milan P — Google review
Nice theater, but sitting up in the balcony, I had trouble making out what the standup comic was saying and missed out on half the jokes. Also, I have never seen the seat isle so narrow. While sitting, my knees were literally touching the seat in front...
Alain C — Google review
Very nice old theater. We saw a descendents show there and I couldn’t believe the floors are carpet. There was beer and trash everywhere up by front stage. We enjoyed the show however. Hate to be the one to clean those carpets haha.

Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Sherbrooke by paying a visit to the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center. Housed in a charming late 19th-century estate, this center offers an authentic experience that provides insight into the cultural traditions of Lennoxville and its surrounding region. Indulge in a traditional English afternoon tea served on weekends throughout the year, and weekdays during summer. The center's diverse cultural program promises an enriching journey through local history.
I went for afternoon tea. Before the service we visited the historical house, and the forest garden. The site is enchanting. There are photos with information about the tradition of tea throughout the forest. The house hosts an art gallery and beautiful period furnitures. Staff was available to answer questions and they were very knowledgeable. The tea service was very special: the setting on the porch, the delicious food, staff presentation. The only negative was that the tea was not very hot despite the tea cozy. Reservation is a must for the tea service.

I recently visited the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center in Sherbrooke and was impressed by the atmosphere and the events offered. One of the most memorable features of my visit was the English tea party held at the center. The tea party at Uplands is not just a treat but an event that immerses you in the spirit of old English traditions. The setting was cozy and elegant, reminiscent of classic Victorian homes. Guests were offered a wide selection of fragrant teas, and a variety of desserts. The staff were very friendly and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I especially appreciated how they shared stories about the traditions of English tea parties and the history of the house. In addition to the tea party, the center has many interesting exhibits dedicated to the history and culture of the Eastern Townships region, making the visit even more enriching and educational. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a delightful time and experience a genuine English tea party, the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Center is the perfect choice. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates history, culture, and cozy traditions

I visited "The Uplands" in Sherbrooke today, and I must say it's a remarkable place. The Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, set on the historic Uplands estate dating back to 1862, offers a fascinating journey into the history and cultural traditions of Lennoxville (Sherbrooke) and its region through a diverse cultural program. Nestled in the heart of Sherbrooke, the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke is a captivating destination for art lovers and curious travelers alike. Housed in a beautifully preserved 19th-century bank building, this museum has been showcasing regional artists since its inception in 1982. With rotating exhibits that highlight local talent, visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant cultural scene of Southeastern Quebec.
Good selection of art, kudos to the curators. Nice atmosphere and staff. The museum should always be free because all people should have free access to art. We have free libraries, right? Visual art should be as accessible as the written word. Come on Canada, show the world how it should be run.

Extraordinary museum to visit that is absolutely stunning! Note thar the pérennant collection can be seen for free on the first Sunday of every month. Brautiful cafe and store located upstairs This museum is a 💎 of Montreal! A must visit!
Janet L — Google review
Take my review with a grain of salt. I am not a big fan of modern art. Some pieces look like a child spilled paint onto a canvass. There was a display of fish trophies...minus the fish. Just empty plaques with dates on them. I just don't get it. The facility itself is quite nice. The staff is friendly. Parking is free. It's also part of the "passeporte" program through the tourist office, which saves a bit of money. If you love modern art, you will probably give a higher rating.
Michael M — Google review
I have been to larger museums around the world, but if you are staying in this region of Southeastern Québec and want to get out to see something apart from the lakes and the adorable villages, then you can make a short day trip centered around a stop at this museum. Nice space in a former bank-you can take a little look inside the old vault that has informational displays on the building's history. The main show they had that was a contemporary installation featuring indigenous lives was interesting with pop-culture references and radical graphics. But, the installation was in a medium-size room, and I wish there could have been more of it somehow. Staff are bilingual and even though not all the pamphlets they will give you if you ask are in English as well as French, the people working there explain well in English what exhibits are where in the museum. Wish that this museum was a little bigger, but overall it was a beautiful place with some interesting pieces on display and nice people working there!

This is a hip and happening place in Sherbrooke. Great vibes and delicious food. We had the tasting menu (Menu de dégustation) which was amazing. The portions are larger than I would have expected. So if you have a good appetite, you won’t leave hungry 😋 The service was great and attentive. We had a fairly large party, but the food service was very reasonable. Some of the folks in our party did not speak French, but the waitress was more than willing to help with her limited English… more than what we could have asked for. Altogether, we had a great experience at Auguste and we would definitely recommend it.

We were browsing the busy street of Wellington for a restaurant and we passed by a few where the menu looked okay. When we passed by Auguste, they seemed packed and busy during their 5-7. However the server still greeted us and informed us that there’s a “quickie” 5-7 menu that’s cheaper but we just have to finish eating before 7. We were delighted to hear about this cheaper options so we stayed. The food did not disappoint.

I had a mixed experience at Auguste Restaurant. The lady waitress was genuinely pleasant, and the food was good. However, I was disappointed with the steak. It came overcooked, and the surface texture was unexpectedly mushy. Furthermore, I felt misled about the dessert pricing. The online menu stated that it was included, but I was charged $10 at the end of our meal. This inconsistency is not a good look for the restaurant and left a sour note on the visit.

Overrated. Not Worth the money for the quality and taste to be honest.

Good food and great service. Very considerate towards our gluten allergy. The vegan risotto was amazing.

The meal was good and the price we're very low. No salt on the table for some weird reason.

Very, very, very good Risotto. We went with a large group, service was mostly good, but we were still there by closing so they were naturally less enthusiastic after that. Brought us some extra treats while we waited for the main course. Quite expensive, but the food was that good. Most folks got steaks and thought it was excellent. Some decent veggie (but not vegan) options.

Tucked in-between shops on Wellington North, this French traditional and fusion restaurant is a cross between a Provence eatery and Big City bistro. The reception was grande from a perfectly bilingual hostess. It is when you hang your coat that you notice children's writing on the wall: A curious design feature. The overall impression of the decor is an English pub, dark and woodsy. The place was half full for Tuesday lunch. The English welcome tailed off from this point forward, but the drinks server was friendly and our server apologetic. The portions, in keeping with French cuisine were small, but big on flavor. I had grilled salmon and my friend had scallops ($30 each) accompanied by a few tendrils of greens. The wine, a French white of unknown provinence. The coffee was on the house. The WC presented well, but had some rough edges. Parking is a challenge and paid.

Helmed by chef-owner Luc Vaillancourt and his talented team, this innovative restaurant offers an exciting menu that blends local flavors with molecular gastronomy techniques. Each dish is not only a feast for the palate but also a visual delight, showcasing meticulous presentation that elevates the dining experience.
Amazing restaurant experience!! The atmosphere is amazing, I believe the building is a repurposed factory but is super cozy and has nice ambient lighting. It was the best atmosphere for a date. The menu consists creative takes on classics like ceasar salad, Shepard’s pie, carrot cake, salmon and more. They put their own spin on things that are familiar! We would the food here actually quite filling. The service was great too. I will for sure visit again if I am in the area.

We had dinner at AntiDote FoodLab and wow, it was amazing. We started with the Squash and the Antidote Caesar, then had the Shepherd’s Pie and the Beef. Everything was just really well done, super flavorful. I had a gin and tonic and their Cocktail of the Moment, both were so good. For dessert, we shared the Carrot Cake and Black Forest Tart, then finished with a latté. No notes. Our server Fred was great, knew his stuff, and everyone there made us feel really looked after. In a city full of options, Antidote stands out as the remedy for the common restaurant.

Truly unique experience. Very cozy place, a lot of ambiance. Our waitress Megane ( not sure about spelling, sorry) was exceptionally knowledgeable, warm and caring. The dishes were well cooked and well plated. We tasted bison, duck and beef. A little too salty and overwhelmed with dressings to my taste. The description of dessert was misleading. It was supported to include carrot mousse with caramelized carrots, but instead of mousse there was just whipped cream with tiny microscopic pieces of carrots, barely noticeable. Anyway was eaten with pleasure. Interesting cocktails with unusual ingredients. Good choice of wines. Definitely place to remember and return.

My wife and I spontaneously decided to have supper here. We sat at the bar with a view of the kitchen, and our server who was also the bartender (Xavier) made our evening with his hospitality. Food was unbelievable. Recommended for anyone looking for phenomenal food and drinks in a unique atmosphere. A truly gastronomic experience.

We googled best restaurants in Sherbrooke, Quebec and were intrigued by the horse cheek Shepherd’s Pie (shepherd’s pie being my partner’s favorite dish). Came in late night with no real expectations and we were honestly blown away with the ambience, service and food. In the uber ride over, our driver said he dropped three separate groups at that restaurant the same night, so we knew we were going somewhere great. We opted to sit at the bar since we knew the kitchen/restaurant were getting ready to start shutting down. The bartender/our server - Corinne, was warm, extremely knowledgeable, had amazing recommendations and explained every dish with remarkable detail. We had the bison carpaccio and duck tartare to start, then the shepherd’s pie and duck breast as our mains and the sea buckthorn tarte for dessert. To drink, I had an espresso martini and my partner was extremely pleased with the corn on the cob cocktail (sounds wild but so so so good!). We both had the Pinot noir with dinner, as per Corinne’s recommendations and it went so well with our meals. The restaurant is in what appears to be an old textile factory, and they pay homage to that with the cellar-esque vibe, sewing machine decor, and stylish aprons and mixed glassware. We thought we’d have an interesting late night meal and ended up having one of the best meals we’ve ever had with amazing service and the coolest vibe. 10/10 would recommend! *chef’s kiss*

This place is an absolute gem. Been here twice now, and the first impression is that it is a beautifully decorated place. Warm, inviting, intimate, and a great spot whether you’re alone or on a date. I’m an Old Fashioned enthusiast, and Xavier (the mixologist I had the pleasure of meeting) is a genius. I’ve never had a better one! The food is top tier, fantastic in both presentation and flavour. When I come to Sherbrooke on business, this restaurant is a focal point for me. They earn every single star. My compliments and gratitude to Xavier and the kitchen team!

Wine cellar
Vin Polisson is a newly opened wine bar located in downtown Sherbrooke. It's the ambitious project of three young wine and food enthusiasts who offer comforting cuisine, a concise sharing menu, tasting platters, and a 100% natural wine list. This neighborhood restaurant and wine bar provides 25 seats in an industrial yet intimate setting. Despite opening during the pandemic, Vin Polisson has successfully combined creative food with unique wines from their own importing business.
We LOVED this spot. While staying nearby in our first trip to the eastern townships of Canada, we read the reviews for Vin Polisson and were not disappointed. The food was great, for both me - a vegetarian - and my husband who is not a vegetarian. We enjoyed meeting the chef Isabelle who is delightful. The owner Charlie could not have been nicer, helping us pick the best wine choices. We also bought a bottle to take to our hotel because they have the most interesting selection. We loved the atmosphere, people sitting near us were also friendly, and the service was great. All in all a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to come back to this part of Canada again. It will definitely include a visit to Vin Polisson!
Susan R — Google review
Over rated and over priced for the serving size. We left the restaurant still feeling hungry ( I have a small stomach) the sauces they make are great but the plates are not that extraordinary. Could have tweaked a little the plating.
G L — Google review
Here’s a place that’s filled with passion. Started during the pandemic they seem to have found a winning combination with a fine balance of creative food and exploratory wines. They even have their own wine importing business that gives great access to natural wines that are very hard to find. Bravo gang!!
Nic C — Google review
The Michelin Recommendation is extremely well deserved. You will not be disappointed. For two people, I suggest around 5 dishes and it you want to cut down on costs, split the wine glasses in two but don't miss out on the wine because they're very special and you cannot find them at the SAQ.
Saf H — Google review
Farm-to-table excellence with superior service. Natural wines chosen with care and a clear vision of choosing them from cool climate regions to complement the food.
Roberto F — Google review
Vin Polisson lives up to the lofty reviews. I really enjoyed watching the staff prepare exquisite dishes from a limited menu in a very tight space. The dishes were unique and creative, in some cases modern touches on more classic meals. I'd love to go back. The wine selection was better than most fancy restaurants I've been to in Toronto and New York. The food was better than what one would get at a one Michelin star restaurant in a bigger city. I would not expect a world class restaurant such as this in Sherbrooke, but it turns out Sherbrooke has several of them.
Misha H — Google review
Tastes good but nothing extraordinary. It costed us 90$ per person and we were still hungry at the end. For food that looks fancy but is really just alright.

Absolute gem of a spot in Sherbrooke. They have a carefully curated selection of natural wines with a great range of varietals and provenance. By-the-glass offerings were also varied and delicious. The menu, thought not extensive, showcased some really interesting dishes, highlighting seasonal Quebec fare. All three owners were present. The service was personal, attentive, and made the experience very special. Would definitely recommend.

Waited for over an hour for our dinner. We complained a number of times, our lady waiter didn’t seem to care. Not sure if it was because we did not speak French. Other guests who came in later were served before us. The Manager was sympathetic but did not do anything to resolve the situation. Very disappointed. Will not visit the restaurant again. We also complained to the hotel management.

We were staying at the hotel so this was an easy option. For starters we shared some Fried Calamari and Beef Tacos. For our main I shared a porterhouse steak with my kids. The steak was excellent and the accompanying sauteed mushrooms were delicious. You won't go wrong choosing this restaurant in Sherbrooke.

Lighting on tables was dim / it was difficult to see the plates. The service was excellent. The steak and tuna were slightly tough and somewhat under seasoned.

What a beautiful evening, every course very well executed with exquisite calamari ans surf and turf cooked just asked. The service was great. The only thing is to go in the hotel to find a bathroom. Anyway, will go back to try the rest of the menu.

One of the nicer restaurants in Sherbrooke. They have a wide selection of wines and aged meats, which their staff will be glad to present to you in order to guide your decision on what to order. Although the food options are on the pricier end, the fast & friendly service, along with the overall food quality, make it totally worthwhile. Among the best dining experiences you can expect to find in Sherbrooke.

Wow. Amazing food! Visiting from Ontario for our 10-year anniversary and we will definitely have to come back next time too. The burgers are great, the poutines were the best we've had and the dessert was delicious too. Also highly recommend the fuzzy peach cocktail. Our server was also attentive, professional and thankfully bilingual as well. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Our waitress was knowledgeable, offering thoughtful recommendations on a few gin varieties based on their flavor profiles for a Negroni. A selection of local microbrews was a great addition. I didn’t order any food however my friend had the nachos—creatively presented like a deconstructed Big Mac—which was delicious and the second-floor ambiance contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. A perfect spot to catch up with an old friend

Service was very attentive and food was good! I'm quite the picky eater and they had stuff for me. The fries, nachos and panko broccoli were very good. General Tsao tofu was great too. Food came out in less than 5 minutes, probably closer to 3, so crazy fast. Definitely more bar focused than restaurant, in terms of the HUGE drinks menu compared to the food menu, but the food is very good too.

Beautiful rooftop terrace. Can't get over the incredible location! The food menu is very small and consists primarily of vegetarian meals, such as a burger made of falafel. The drink menu is more where it's at! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area

I went there with high expectations after reading one of the blog. But it was not worth the drive from my motel. The staff was not welcoming at all. I think it might be because of just one girl working there. We ordered a poutine and a burger. Burger was good but poutine didn’t feel like poutine.

What a great place! Drinks were High Seas and Tina Turner - both were excellent. Then we shared mixed grill, pork dumplings, Caesar salad. Mmmmmgood. Had an amazing dining experience at King Hall in Sherbrooke. It started strong with an antipasto platter that was perfectly curated—great selection of cheeses and cold cuts, fresh and flavorful. For the main, I went with a seafood risotto and added extra octopus—absolutely worth it. The rice was perfectly cooked and the seafood was fresh and well-balanced. Their wine list impressed me too: a solid Italian red and a phenomenal Rioja made the meal even better. Service was excellent—attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality food, great wine, and a relaxed but refined atmosphere.

Every dish was fresh and full of flavor. The presentation was beautiful, and the portions were generous.
Chintan P — Google review
Beautifully appointed, great vibes. Servers were polite, warm, and professional. However, the food did not live up to the atmosphere; it was if the chef was timid and scared to add flavor to dishes for fear of offending someone. Additionally, the toasted bread was actually charred, and a gluten-free main dish had a piece of crust from some sort dessert pie or something that had fallen into it. They have a great vision, but the food does not do their vision justice.
Sam K — Google review
The food was delicious…hands down. The waiter was absent most of the time. Took 45 minutes to get our bill after asking for it three times. When asked…the answer was “j’étais a l’extérieur”. At the nearby table, there was a waiter practically stationed there who partook in the libations. Really? Also in our area there were two tables drinking heavily and talking so loud, we had to raise our voices to be heard at our own table. So while the food was good, there were aspects that left to be desired.

In the middle of a very hot day we found ourselves out front and decided to give it a shot. Not only were the beer (and wine) options great but the menu was spectacular. I wished I could try more! We had the cheese curds, the deer burger, and the "Club Sandwich" salad and everything was delicious and our waitress (who thankfully spoke English) was fantastic. The ambiance is great fun and the seating options were enough to accommodate most any type of party or preference.

Siboire Dépôt is the kind of place that makes you wish you lived nearby just so you could drop in all the time. Housed in a beautifully restored old train station, it has an atmosphere that feels both historic and lively. The building itself is worth a visit, with warm lighting, brick walls, and that unmistakable character that only an older structure can offer. It’s one of those rare spots where design, history, and good food all come together effortlessly. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful from the moment we walked in. Service was efficient without ever feeling rushed. I appreciated that the noise level was moderate enough to have an actual conversation, which made it perfect for visiting with friends. I went with the locals’ recommendation and ordered the Fish and Chips, opting for the three-fish sampler. It did not disappoint. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The batter was crisp and light, and the coleslaw on the side added a fresh, balanced touch. My friend had the venison burger, which looked and tasted fantastic. Everything about the meal felt fresh and made with care. Siboire’s beer selection deserves a special mention. They have an impressive range of house brews, and the hazy IPA I tried was excellent: fruity, aromatic, and balanced. It’s clear the brewery takes pride in crafting quality beer that pairs well with their food. The location could not be more convenient, right in the heart of Sherbrooke and within walking distance from my hotel. Whether you are a visitor or a local, it’s an easy place to settle into for a relaxed meal and a great pint. If I lived in Sherbrooke, this would absolutely be my regular go-to spot for good food, good beer, and good company.

Thank you for the amazing meal!

Good Belgian food at a reasonable price with good service and great ambiance. This place has a lot of dishes that is often not seen in other French and/or Belgian restaurants. That is offals! We love them very much and some were even available in the host table. There are also a lot of choices of mussels but I recommend them only when in season to get the big juicy ones. Overall, the food was good but could be better. The dishes tasted good but if only the taste was more "concentrated" it would have made the difference between good and excellent. For example, the marinière mussels is cooked in a vegetable broth and white wine. The white wine is usually very predominant in the soup but here, it lacked in it. Yes, it makes a difference in the taste. Also, you can bring your own wine! There are a 7 course meal, a 5 course meal or you can also order dishes separately. The service was great. I recommend it because of the quality-price ratio.

Nestled a bit away from downtown Sherbrooke on King Ouest, Westley - Artisans restaurateurs is a charming bistro-bar that exudes the elegance of the 1920s. This delightful spot is perfect for an after-work gathering, offering a tempting cocktail menu featuring unique creations like the Old Westley, a twist on the classic Old Fashioned. The wine selection is equally impressive, complemented by local beers and ciders.
We have been coming here for 3 years , today may have been our fifth time. It's a treat. Food and the custom cocktails are excellent, the drink menu endless. We have tried to find competition in town, there is none in the niche Westley is operating for food, ambiance, and drinks! Also, you can sit at the chef counter and discuss adjustments to your food preferences with the kitchen - that is quite unique. Dishes are creative ( hello Daikon radish a la carbonara), even a staple Steak Frite will have a non-standard sauce option if you care for it. We also had the Truffle risotto, flavor and texture were perfect. Last time I had the cauliflower in BBQ dressing out of curiosity. Exceeded expectations! I see some reviews lamenting the service. Yes, service had its issues 3 years ago. But they added staff, now it's consistently attentive and friendly. Unless you are willing to spend double the money at Manoir Hovey, you won't get better service. For what you pay you get an excellent night out at Westley. Great chefs in the kitchen, great staff at the bar and in service!

Our server was never there, it took 20 minutes to order a drink and another 15 to get it. Luckily, the chef Sébastien notice that and decided that he would take care of us. He told us about the specials of the day and what had changed on the menu. He took our order by hand on a slip of paper and kept an eye on us to know when to prepare our next plates. The food tasted great and being able to watch the action in the kitchen was fun! If we'd had been sitting anywhere else and had to wait on our server, we probably would not of enjoyed our experience. Thank you Sébastien for taking care of us!

Good cocktails. The quality of food was definitely good. The portions are smaller, but in line with the prices. Best to order 2-3 dishes. Very tasty and a good blend of flavors. Service was good too. I will be back again.

High quality quisine in Sherbrooke, just the opposite of OTL hotel, good location, food is fresh and very well done. Staff is friendly and eager to explain all the dishes to you. Will come back!

Wow blown away by the food here. Never expected to find such a fine dining experience in such a small place that Sherbrooke is. The only downside is this is their only location so you'll have to come here to experience it. Amazing food, tapas style with awesome service from Olivier and a wine and drinks selection second to none. Over 40 different rums on offer but I did notice a gap where the Jamaican rums should be. Hopefully this will be rectified when I return ;) Truly well satisfied and once more must thank Google for the recommendation

First time going and the only spot available was at 8pm. Not the worst as the hours say they are open till midnight. Didn't think we would be there for almost 2 1/2 hours.... Pros: -Very very good drinks! Like exceptional. Some of the best I have had in Sherbrooke. -Friendly bilingual staff. Always smiling. -Lovely decor and bar layout. I really enjoyed the motif. -Partner had Pretzel with pear mustard which was great. -My starter was Chips with sour cream were ok. It was a good portion but needed more dip. Cons: -Very very very slow. Over an hour to get our starters (chips and a pretzel) and then another 45 mins for my main. -Music was too loud and had hard time hearing my partner or even the waiter. -Felt very crowded and cramped. Always seemes like we were very close to the people next to us and would bump into them. -My entree was the braised beef cheecks with red wine sauce. It was not tender at all, lacked flavour (absolutely needed salt), vegetables were all undercooked (an understanding cooked potato is hard to eat) and had maybe 3 small square of meat that had more fat than really should have been on it. Had it cooked longer, maybe the fat would have rendered... -We only got bread after we asked about it when I got my main so 2 hours later. -Bread was served with RANCID olive oil. Had to spit it out! Also everyone else got what looked like balsamic vinegar in the oil but we only got oil that clearly had gone bad. -Went to the bathroom and one of the chef's was sitting across the floor blocking the door and only moved because the manager came by. It looked like he had collapsed. Super awkward and unprofessional. So in the end, clearly they need more staff because it was so slow but the food still felt rushed. Debating going back because the drinks were really good but the time it took to get food that wasn't good and rancid oil that I can't get out of my mouth is not encouraging.

Morrisville-Stowe State Airport

Airport
Morrisville-Stowe State Airport, located in Morrisville, Vermont, is a convenient option for visitors to Stowe who need to rent a vehicle. While the airport itself may not have much activity, it is known for its friendly and professional service. Travelers can take advantage of taxi services or the free Mountain Road Shuttle from Stowe Village to Stowe Mountain Resort during the winter and early spring. Additionally, the airport offers a welcoming atmosphere for aviation enthusiasts and gliding experiences.
Flew in with my old Cessna 172 and these guys could not have been friendlier- literally providing the red carpet treatment. We stayed two days and they were exceedingly friendly, easy to deal with, and professional. What more could you ask for?

Caledonia County Airport

Airport
Peter Gage does a great job of keeping the place well plowed, pretty much clear of snow most of the winter and very serviceable. Just a gem of an airport that is near great skiing, don't miss Burke Mountain, the little inns and the real Vermont. Great fuel price, self serve, plenty of tie downs, an occasional hangar available in inclement weather. Enterprise has cars available delivered to the airport and you are in and out of there in a flash. One of my favorite skiing airports and in the spectacular Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
