Excellent place to get locally grown food and locally baked goods. There is something for everyone, shop till you drop. I can't wait till summer so I can go back. Bring a hat and sunscreen, it gets super hot.
Seems to be all the same things. Not much variety anymore. And a lot of the fruit/veggies stands don't let people pick their baskets of fruit or veggies. Bought corn (half dozen) to eat that night, and 4 out of the 6 were bad. Need more variety of booths again, like the olden days.
Drove all the way from London to take my wife for her first trip to the market to end up very disappointed that our one family member was not allowed in!! No dogs or pets is a big disappointment especially for a market that actually sells livestock!! I guess the years of memories coming to this market is done for me !!
My mum was here with her friend on Tuesday. There was a young woman selling butter tarts and the raisin ones were the best we’ve ever had in our lives! Amazing! Cant wait to come back for more
The farmers market is fabulous to attend. Every Tuesday from 7:00 am till 2:00pm ( rain or shine ) Lots of fresh locally grown veggies, delicious baked goods from local artisans. I go every Tuesday morning, it's a treat and really miss the market in the fall and winter. Bring the kis along, lots for them to see and purchase. It's the best market in all of Grey Bruce with many dozens of vendors. You will not be dissapointed and plenty of free parking.
Don’t let the smell of manure fool you; so far as I could tell all of the farmers were in the stockyard, not behind the stalls. There were multiple resellers of stuff purchased on Amazon and we couldn’t find anyone selling eggs. One of the vegetable vendors was selling pineapples, so I’m reasonably confident he gets his produce from the same place your grocery store does and he’s not a Bruce County farmer.
Always love going and seeing what all the vendors have and the flowers and fresh vegetables and fruit.
I love coming to Keady and so disappointed that my good looking raspberries were mostly rotten and some items weren’t even from Canada This was the first fruit market

We were give a tip from a local to make sure you visit Big Bay General Store and get some of their homemade ice cream. That was yummy advise. They had a number of flavours and come options. Everyone tried a different flavour. They were all good. This place has been in business since 1862...that is awesome! You can take your ice cream and go skip some stone in the bay at the dock/boat launch. Enjoy!
Step back in time with this wonderful general store featuring homemade ice cream.
The ice cream here is absolutely fabulous and there are so many flavors to choose from. Despite other pictures, you cannot go into the store, it is window service only. There are a few picnic tables to relax and enjoy for a few minutes. The coconut cream pie and chocolate toasted ice cream in a waffle cone was delish!
Great homemade ice cream! They have a few different flavours. We decided to get cups instead of cones just so it’s not messy. There was a short wait, but definitely worth it. We walked to the little pier after and it was a great treat after a hike at Skinner’s Bluff
The best ice cream I've ever eaten. The store has transitioned into a window service only, which is ok. I do wish I could see what the ice cream looks like as there is no description, only the name. Or they could print out a quick description. Asking what is in 4 different ice cream's is a pain. There are very nice employees working for the summer. I'm hoping the owner/woman who used to make the ice cream & work full time serving customers is taking a well deserved break from all the extras she did, she was clearly over interacting with people & everything she was doing was clearly a ton of work!
We has a famous homemade icecream cone. Covid distancing in place. Reasonable prices. Picnic table to sit at and enjoy the sun. Such a cute pit stop.
Ice cream is 10/10! Such bold and delicious flavours. Shout-out to the chocolate coconut!
I had high expectations but the ice cream was pretty mediocre. The ones I tried were lacking the natural flavours I look for in homemade ice-cream.

A stunning oasis of gardens and trails, well maintained so many different plants and flowers everywhere it is a magical place to visit. It's easy to spend an afternoon walking the trails and viewing the stunning gardens. There are benches and picnic areas almost all over the property, and the owners are quite friendly.
Keppel Croft Gardens are a quirky labour of love over some 45 years resulting in a wonderful experience for the visitor: from gardens to a solar calendar (henge) solar clock and a beautiful walk through grass meadow up to a "Painter's Point" with a view. There is so much to see and experience, plan to spend several hours here. You won't regret it, and yes you must visit the outhouse! The owner and volunteers are warm and welcoming.
Beautiful, expansive yet casual gardens. A surprise around every corner. Cutest outhouse, have to try it. Visit the stone Henge too. Just a wonderful spot to wander for an hour or two and picnic too if you wish.
What a delight. So much to see. Gardens, pathways, nature trails. So many places to sit and paths to explore. Get lost in a wonderful garden.
Lovely gardens with unique statuary throughout. A great place to bring a picnic lunch and spend a few hours wandering through the gardens, walking the nature trail, and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
A wide variety of different gardens and landscapes, with a pond and ducks and sheep to see. Also intricately crafted stone pathways and art pieces throughout.
Bill and dawn are lovely people, they own and maintain the gardens. Lots to see. Very relaxing.
A wonderful garden to explore. Very unique and interesting. Well worth travelling to see.

Very cool spot, clean water, temperature was cooler here verses 20 minutes away due to the breeze. Very cool rocks.
Had a great time visiting this beach, covered with thousands of skipping stone. Had a blast reliving my youth and think I got one stone to skip about 8-9 times.
Great rock beach with a boat launch and wharf. Come prepared with cushions or something similar to sit on. No sand here makes clean up quick and easy. The wharf was a great spot to jump into the water which was crystal clear! Parking is tight. Those with boat trailers were parking along the road so they could get out easily. The Country Store is close by for pizza and ice cream. Porta Potties were near the beach as well.
Nice place to stop. Great views. Rocky beach. Water is perfect. The government dock is in good shape and gives you a nice panorama from the tip of it.
Beautiful rocky beach. Very clear turquoise waters.
Nice beach to relax, not many things to do though.
There is something magical about this place. Even when the weather is less-than-ideal it is still a great place to stop, sit, eat your ice cream or even skip some stones. We’ll be back, again and again.
Views are awesome and beach is very cool being all rock
