Best ball tournament for Ride For Dad. Course was great. Staff were fabulous. The food was so good.... wraps and home fries for breakfast. We had a choice of pasta, I had lasagna with salad for our meal after our round of golf. Topped off with endless table of deserts. Excellent place for a tournament. Looking forward to next year.
As a member this might be a biased review so read on but just be aware. This course is in great shape yet again this year and the maintenance staff is out every morning in force getting things ready for the day (I know as I am often in the first group off the tee). They have done an awesome job keeping up with the increased number of rounds this year. The track is very challenging in places and you need to be on your game to stay out of some trouble but for the most part if you play from the correct tees you will be in good shape. Tee Boxes and fairways are in good condition and greens are in great condition (now if only some of you would fix your ball marks). Greens are faster than avg and provide a nice challenge with some undulations and ridges. While this course is walkable there are many elevation changes and a few short steep climbs so if you are looking for an excuse to ride a cart this would be the reason. Over the past 2 years many of the ash trees have been dying off and while they cleaned up many trees last year they just can't seem to keep up and they have become a bit of an eye soar (a shame really). The course is a little east of Ottawa just off the 417 and is easy to access from the highway and I'm told the rates are reasonable given other courses in the area but as a mbr I don't pay green fees and really can't compare. Pace of play is much better in the morning than the afternoon but that is true about most courses. You can expect to play in 4 1/2 hrs on avg as a 4some anytime after 10am. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will do whatever they can to make your day enjoyable. If you get a slow day just take your time and enjoy the day.
Have golfed here many times and have always had a great time. Played a round this morning and was extremely annoyed with how many times the Marshall had come up to our group to tell us to speed up our pace of play. He came up to us 4-5 time throughout the round to tell us to speed it up or to try to catch the group in front of us. The group in front of us was carting and had finished the first hole when we tee’d off. We weren’t holding anyone up either, the group behind us was at least a hole behind us. We finished our round in 4hours and 8 minutes with a quick stop at the turn. Our whole group was annoyed and thought it to be quite excessive how frequently he spoke to us and was around us.
Came down from windsor for fam found this absolute gem of a golf course shout out to Maurice also good at what he does very friendly and guiding .. highly recommend 10 outta 10
We come here to practice quite often. I love the practice greens! Would like to see more targets on the range and maybe a ball sweep/collector for the chipping green but I love practicing here! I tried the women’s only evenings they have each week and I had a lot of fun. The dinner they served after was spectacular and thoughtful! Also love the course as a beginner. I don’t find the greens too difficult and the fairways are what I would consider wider.
I was out golfing with some friends at this course and we all found that the prices were reasonable and it was nice that one drink was included as well as the use of two golf carts. Definitely coming back to this golf course.
Awesome course, worth the drive from Ottawa. Great layout, amazing greens and at a good price
Nice course overall in good condition. Nice practice facilities as well. Greens had some interesting undulations which was fun to play. You can hear the highway from some holes which is a little unpleasant, but nothing they can do about that obviously. Unfortunately, like most public courses, pace of play was very slow.

Great beers. Excellent service. Interesting food menu - it would be great to see a few vegan items available.
The service was friendly and attentive and the drinks were pretty good too. The food menu looks nice - Pretty good for a bistro-type of offering - however I was super happy with the food. I ordered the croquettes which were tasteless and crumbly. Also ordered the beef cheek which was tasty but the dish was very small and totally room temperature. Kitchen has some work to do.
Friendly staff and absolutely phenomenal craft beer! A very heavy hitting line up of unique craft beers worth travelling for! I highly recommend the Maple Rye Ale for one of the most amazing seasonal flavours!
Came from ottawa to try this brewery and was a little dissapointed that you couldnt really see any of the brewery.. no big windows with vats of beer. But the bartender was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We had a sample board of the food with wings, deep fried pickles and fries and it was so tastey! Loved the dips! Food was great just wish they had fresh cut fries. Beer was amazing and worth the drive. Love love love.
A well rounded mix of some great ; tastes and flavours in this sweet lil brewery friendly and Knowledgeable staff..Casselman deffinatley will not dissappoint..and great merch. A nice tshirt for your collection
Tried to order food off menu but server came back from kitchen x 3 to tell us they didn't have what we ordered. Then food that did come was sub par... cold... hair found in nachos, sour seafood sauce, over seasoned fries. Then when we were ready to go we waited forever for the bill. Only when we put our coats on and stood next to the table did server acknowledge we were ready for the bill, although all the dishes had been cleared for at least 10 mins. We still waited. Would not recommend 😕
I stopped into the brewery on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time! The beer selection is wonderful and their staff were super friendly! Be sure to try their honey brown. They're generous with the samples, which was great. I was able to try a lot of different things and purchased some to bring home with me.
Great beer, awesome decor atmosphere and great service. They also have guest taps if you prefer cider, they can also mix drinks and the food is served from nect door at Brian's for dinner time. Highly recommended stop, not far from the highway.

Beautiful, clean and serene.... great spot to pit stop while out riding for the day!! We keep going back!
Love this historical gorgeous place, a very quiet place to have a picnic and some fishing where permitted. Everybody seems to try to find a path, but officially exists, and people go from rocks to rocks. But it is a conservation area, so for the city of #CasselmanCity, I suggest you create a small safe one to avoid unsafe hiking and that way people won't step everywhere, which is not helping to protect nature. I myself went for a challenging hike, ending up climbing, going in thicker bush... I had my waterproof hiking boots (it's needed), I would quote to be a moderate trail. The plants here are amazing, and the old broken bridge should be advertised and explained, no panel with this history on that side. Here's a resume of my day! Please brings lots of water on a warm day, it will get your heart pumping.
Good location for a short break during a long drive. Only downside is the smell from nearby dairy farm on a windy day!!!!
Very relaxing by the water, lots of space to relax, run , lie down , little bbq, boat launch. Nice picnic area and to walk on the big stones near the water. Basically just has a small natural playground with a few picnic tables. Always properly maintained. Great little spot to fish,
Nice canoe ride up the Nation. So many turtles and morning glory along the banks. Also saw a beaver. Nice house watching also.
This place is great for a picnic and to walk on the big stones near the water. The kids liked it but there isn't a path to walk around, it's simply a small natural playground with a few picnic tables.
Weren't able to see the falls from the park which is fine, but I can't definitively say that there even are any. The park itself is nice with 2 big trees that are great for kids to climb. There are picnic tables to sit at and a long shoreline strip access for fishing. Some outdoor charcoal barbecues that are in bad shape but probably usable, are available as well. I would recommend this park to anyone wanting to keep kids busy so they can fish in close proximity to them, or anyone looking for a spot to stop and eat off the road
Fun small park. Park area is small but has bathrooms and small seating areas. There are a few great climbing trees that my kids really like. The park is situated along a river right on a dam. There is almost always some type of wildlife around like ducks, herons or geese.

Reception was warm and bilingual. Food was traditional - full habitat brunch! Sugar pie was divine! Wagon ride and tour of the Maple Syrup production was great!! Kids loved the animals on the farm- "baby Llama drama" 🦙 and the indoor inflatable structures! And taffy of course 😋 Overall this is a hidden gem in Casselman. Reasonably prices too
Always a good time- petting zoo, tobogganing, inflatable jump houses and far too much delicious food. Potatoes split pea soup, ham, salads, eggs, sausages, pancakes, baked beans, pies, puddings, jello, and more! Finish off the day with a maple taffy! Highly recommended!!!🫶👐🫶👐
We rented the hall and kitchen for a small club event (80 person). Good place for winter time, well maintained & heated. We prepared a simple menu in the kitchen.
i was utterly disappointed by the food, the pancakes tasted like celery, gave the skimpiest amounts of syrup and also teachers were obligated to do the serving... Not only that but the sugar shack doesn't even belong to the farm. Furthermore i was disrespected one i was told i needed to "make it worth her while" to use the debit machine by purchasing more than just water... also their play structures are all death traps! every single one was not fit for use in any way shape or form. i will never recommend this place to anyone.... The inflatable houses are falling apart and full of holes, they don't even stand upright anymore. The only positive i have is that their animals seem to be well cared for....but as a paying customer i was appalled.
Beautiful wedding venue that I can accommodate a large guests list. The open space, the light colored dome, the beautiful forest makes it easy on a photographer to capture pretty photos. 10/10 would recommend.
We were on the search for a small family farm that we could visit that might be suitable for my 3 year old autistic son who can be overwhelmed in very large places. Ferme Drouin Farm was perfect! They let us visit for free and even gave us a little tour. It was a pretty hot day so the animals hid from the heat but him and my 2 year old daughter enjoyed seeing the animals that peaked out. They also enjoyed the park area with different structures and swings, as well. Super cute little farm!
Great place for your annual sugar bush feast! Good food and prices! Warm atmosphere and lots of things to do with the kids after eating.
We visited Drouin farm and Sugar shack in late March 2022 with Hippy group. Kudos to the Drouin farm folks the visit was a huge success. Awesome experience for kids and adults alike with lots of farm animals to interact with. Very friendly staff of the farm and well maintained facilities. Delicious, homely food at the restaurant with loads of variety at a reasonable price. Sugar shack and maple tree tapping was a great experience to see, and the taffy on snow treats to top it off! Must visit with family and friends.
