So excited to have found this amazing place to ride. Minimum ride two hours, bespoke trail with jog and lope, huge variety of terrain, friendly staff and well mannered horses… such a treat! Can’t wait to go back. 🤩
What an amazing experience! My friend and I checked out the Ranch Riding Adventure “Day in the Life of…” and had a fabulous time. We rode with Dorothee, who is friendly and knowledgeable. We rode through the endless beautiful hilly ranch, in and out of forest and we, couple beginners, even help with moving the cattle (What?!!). The cozy saloon/B&B was inviting, warm and clean with lots of board games. The fridge was filled with plentiful of breakfast food and snacks; we also enjoyed having the delicious meals with the Cosack family. Will definitely be back.
I had a really good experience there today! It was my first time riding & Nicky was great. She’s very knowledgeable & I learned a lot. The scenery is gorgeous, definitely worth your time.
Horrible tour guide. I think it was the owners daughter but she was beyond rude and hostile. Felt uncomfortable from the start. Her father met us at the end of the ride and was pleasant, but it was clear she had a problem with us. She scolded me for my horse being too close behind hers, which was interesting because I grew up riding horses and my dad was a jockey, so I knew what I was doing, and these horses were clearly straight trail riders trained to follow. Very off putting experience and Im still upset about it.
It was a very nice experience for my wife and I with the Cosack Family. We had a fun trail ride and chili for dinner. The room was clean and the common area was spacious. Our visit consisted of a trail ride with Nicky , dinner with the family, and in the morning we went the the spa. I would recommend to a friend
My friend and I had a wonderful 4 hour trail ride with Crusty and Vanessa. The horses were lovely and Crusty did such a good job making us feel comfortable and at ease (I was nervous at the beginning as I had never ridden for that long in the saddle). He gradually increased the difficulty (we are intermediate riders) and we got to experience jogging, loping and even did some bush wacking. Crusty and Vanessa were very knowledgable about the local area which made the trail ride an interesting learning experience as well. The views and landscape were absolutely stunning. I can't wait to go back and go on another adventure!
WARNING: They Illegally use private property for trail rides and have been doing so for over 20 years, dangerous and despicable, putting customers at risk of arrest. Police have been called many times and yet they continue.
We joined Rawhide for a “cattle clinic” to experience and learn the basics of cattle herding. We are not skilled riders, but we are comfortable with horses, not intimidated by a noisy herd of cattle and up for a challenge. Wrangler Nikki was patient, encouraging but also serious. It was a unique experience and we learned a lot. This is a great family-run business with owners who respect the land and their animals. Many thanks.

We've been members since 2006. Our kids grew up skiing and racing at Mansfield. We enjoyed the family time as one of only a few sports that a family can do all together. The friends we/they made are long lasting. As parents we also skied with other parents and friends to get out and enjoy the winter weather. Not only skiing but social events help to round out weekend activities. The club does a great job in coordinating events to promote skiing, friendship and having some good après ski fun. The renovated chili shack area is a great place to congregate during the afternoon to catch up with folks, enjoy some food/ beverage and some winter sun. Our daughter continues to come back to coach on weekends and our son joins us when back in town. Our goal is to carry the traditions on as our families grow and expand. Mansfield is safe, has controlled numbers and everyone looks out for each other. We also avoid the craziness of a public hill. Consider a trial membership and try out for a season. Great spot to enjoy outdoor fun, family time, and get some winter exercise in.
We joined MSC 8 years ago and it was the best family decision we've made! Kids have grown up loving winter and we get to participate in the fun, not just watch from the cold hard seats of the arena. Safe, family oriented and social. We pop up and ski/snowboard for the day and we're back in the city before the hot chocolate is even cold. Loving it!
Awesome to be able to drive on paved highways and in a little over one hour be at a great ski club. People have always been very friendly (staff and members). The snowmaking people do a great job keeping the hills skiable despite crappy weather being a hurdle in Ontario. Our kids enjoyed the programs which turn out excellent expert skiers. Joining Mansfield was one of the best family decisions we ever made - transformed winter weekends. The experience was taken to a new level after we were able to get a place near the hill. Highly recommend trying it out if you are considering joining a ski club.
We have been members at Mansfield since 2014. It has been the perfect place for our kids to learn how to ski and snowboard! From parent and tot lessons through to having teens in the freestyle program, Mansfield has kept our family coming back and excited to hit the slopes every season. There’s no better way to make the best of winter! There’s great food and bar service, wonderful staff and so many fun events that make you feel part of the community.
We love our weekends at Mansfield! The kids look forward to skiing every year. There is a good variety of skill levels on the slopes, and many non skiing activities for all ages, including live music! The new Chillishack is a great addition.
Myself and now my family have enjoyed Mansfield Ski Club for decades. The slopes, while not long, offer excellent grade and fall line for enjoyment and improvement of skiing. The members are very friendly and the social activities are great. The Ski School is unsurpassed having taught thousands of youth and adults how to ski since the mid-60s. The racing program is excellent turning out many high calibre racers. I am a very happy member!
It’s a private club, Staff are very friendly, instructors are very attentive; chalets are clean, but I think the members should let the owner/management know: 1. The site is not clearly mapped, slopes are not very well signed, as a matter of fact 2/3 of slopes has no signs on names or levels 2. The event wasn’t planned well: the food and drinks were supplied with good quantities but not enough variety, this might be the event planner’s faulty, but the club should at least help or remind them that variety of food is the key for a good party 3. there are 4 instructors assigned to a 40-person group lesson, none of them did any skill evaluation before teaching the group, every instructor was wasting time on lower level skiers because of the exact reason. 4. 2of 4 ski lifts were not operating on a party Friday, the one chair lift that operated had black greasy lubricants dripping directly on the chair, leaving un removable stains on skiers snow pants
Mansfield Ski Club has been an incredible find for our family! Just an hour from Toronto, it’s a private, welcoming community that offers the perfect place for skiing without the crowds. The atmosphere here is so family-friendly that we feel completely at ease letting our kids ski independently, knowing they’re in a safe, well-managed environment. With mostly experienced skiers on the slopes, there’s a smooth, enjoyable flow, and we never worry about beginner chaos. The best part? Mansfield is down-to-earth—no pretension, just friendly faces everywhere. If you’re looking for a close-knit, relaxed ski community, this is the spot to join

Excellent collection of Lavenders and owners are wonderful and welcoming, they gave great explanation of field and variety of lavenders and the products they package/sell in market, it is worth buying from them as it helps them locally as well as as a token of appreciation for allowing us to venture through their beautiful lavender farm fields. Worth making a visit if you are lavender fragrance or beauty lover! Cheers
