We went there after 2 raining days. The flow was so strong and beautiful. There is $10 payment per car and they only accept either debit or credit card at the gate.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve been able to truly access! It’s just a 10 minute walk from the bottom of the road (multiple spots to park along the road in-and you can walk down the hill to trailhead) the 10 minute hike to the falls is of average difficulty…definitely not accessible for anyone with leg troubles, as there is a few places that would be too narrow and treacherous- like the handmade stairs attached to the hillside/cliff.. bring your swimsuit and take a dip. Bring snacks but take out EVERYTHING you take in. Please respect the natural beauty and don’t ruin it for future folks.
We came all the way from Atlanta, GA to experience the waterfall! It was breathtaking!! And a beautiful hike (about 10 min, depending on how fast you go..we had a 6 yr old with us so we took our time!)
The waterfall is stunning. It is a short hike from the parking and it is OK for kids. Bring $10 for access to the falls. Wear good shoes for walking on the trail. On the way back to the parking it is up a steep hill so make sure you have water. You can also view the Miramichi river if you have time! It is worth it. We enjoyed our afternoon there.
A must do detour if you are in the area. If you have a 4x4 and can park at the bottom of the hill, it's an easy enough walk.. otherwise, you will have to walk a steep road out.. but worth the effort.
This was an awesome little hike! It was a bit difficult to get to the spot because the directions once you got passed the first bridge was unclear. Basically right before the second wooden bridge you can take a left into this off road. This will lead u to a little parking area or if your car can handle it you can go all the way down to the falls. The walk down is pretty steep so just be aware you will have to walk back up hill. You should wear shoes for this hike because theres some areas that are dangerous. The falls itself was beautiful! Wanted to swim but was wayy too cold at this time but in july or august it might be better!
Amazing waterfall! It’s an easy 15 min walk in all downhill then an uphill walk out but not bad. Trail is well marked. There’s also a nice view of the Mirimachi River along the way.
We were there today) Waterfall is full now) very huge and beautiful😍
