Amazing display. Limited size but this is one of the finest collections of super rare editions of North American built cars that you will see, mostly convertibles. Nicely displayed too. If you are at all interested in cars this is a must stop
A worthy museum. The ladies there can share personal experiences (while the mine was operational, few miners lived beyond late 40s) and Immaculata (Mac) makes great carrot cake at the cafe next door.
A great little Museum with a great story. Excellent food available at the Lunch Tin Caf'e next door. Gift shop with some very unique items for sale.
This is a hidden gem for people interested in the history of the Burin Peninsula, especially the fluorspar mines in St. Lawrence. It also has great info on local shipwrecks and the infamous tidal wave. This is a high-quality and well-curated museum, and the curator working there was very friendly and informative!
This was a lucky find in the middle-of-somewhere. They have cute jewelry made by locals, a nice museum and a little café/restaurant next to it. We were invited inside with the dog and had an absolute great time with all the people. The hospitality in the little café was outstanding. Superb service and great food. We have seriously enjoyed the pies and coffee. Thank you so much!
Terrific museum and gift shop, but an even better lunch cafe inside! Absolutely charming cook/owner and delicious food. The epitome of Newfoundland hospitality!
Pretty much what you'd expect from a miners museum. They make jewelery there, you can watch i think.
10/10 absolutely amazing people and very interesting stuff and the cafè has amazing food
