What I experienced with Quebec province, WONDERFUL NATURE, rather than super special cities. From East coast to West coast, I have seen many national parks, but Lac-Témiscouata was the best, or at least I would say “one of the best”! Wildlife observation: Great Boating: Great Staff: Great When I was driving safely to reach out the lake to boat, I say all kinds of animal including different kinds of deer and porcupine, raccoon and so on. After getting to the lake, there were different kinds of boats including peddles, canoes, without any waves. You can go far from the coast with boat, but still not that deep or wavy water. Although staff don’t speak English fluently, but super nice and helpful and spent time to explain everything. I will go there again, and strongly recommended!
Pretty nice park and campground! Stayed a few nights in the ready-to-camp tents. I’ve never been glamping before but I have to say it was pretty nice having all the amenities, especially since it got pretty cold at night. The campground itself is big enough that you still feel a little privacy and all the facilities and everything are very well maintained. And then of course the nature was beautiful. This was definitely not peak camping season, but I get a feeling this sepaq is a bit quieter than the rest, given that it’s a bit off the beaten path. Also the staff are super friendly!
Beautiful park with nice trails for hiking and cycling. We stopped here for 2 days to cycle the trails. We are anglophones so understanding written and spoken French. It was extremely difficult to find any park staff would could understand or answer our inquiries effectively. Signage can be very confusing as it is only in French. It made it challenging to find our way around the trails. The trails are beautiful and we’ll maintained. There are large cycling loops where you can use a ferry (at a cost).
Highly recommend renting bikes in a rainstorm! Loved this campground, quiet and peaceful, lots of interpretive programs, don't miss the Jardin Des Memoires. The one bathroom for like 80 campsites seemed a bit under resourced but it sure was clean!
Another beautiful place. Campsites are spacious the pets here are well behaved. The lake is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature✌️❤️🏞
A beautiful site to camp, well worth the trip even if it's out of the way. Such lovely nature, great facilities and friendly staff. We would defiantly recommend a visit here.
Absolutely stunning in the fall when everything is golden fire. The relatively easy hikes make for leisurely strolls where you can relish the crisp air and crunchy leaves of autumn. While not the biggest or most spectacular parc in the region, this quite possibly might be my favourite one.
Fabulous park on the shores of the lake. Plenty of places to enjoy: picnic spots, wide gravel bike trails, a well-stocked welcome center, and the lakeshore too. Highly recommended!
