Best kept secret in Timberlea. Great little place to eat with quality portions. Amazing fish and chips without loading up on just chips. The seafood chowder is the best I’ve tasted in all of HRM, including my mom’s! They also have burgers, pasta and butter chicken. Everything I’ve ever had has been really good. It also has a great view of the golf course and surrounding areas with outdoor dining and fire pits.
We really enjoyed playing at The Links at Brunello. It’s ranked among the top five golf courses in Nova Scotia—and it’s easy to see why. The fairways are beautifully maintained but generally tight, with natural rough and tree-lined edges that demand accuracy off the tee. The greens are challenging, so walking away with a two-putt feels like a win.
Beautiful long course (7000+ yards) which favours long hitters. However, at times, its better to put away the driver and use a more conservative approach as the rough is thick and tight to the course. Stunning rock outcrops litter the course which combined with some deep bunkers, well placed water hazards, and blind tee boxes are challenging. Fairways and greens are in fabulous condition so far this season. An added perk this season is the addition of all new (and very quiet) golf carts. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. The only drawback is the ongoing construction.
Great conditions friendly staff and great practice facility, hard to get good score there but it is the way how you can challenge yourself and make it fun
Made some bad changes to course in last few years…not nearly as good as it was when it opened. Booking tee times not a great system, you can book a month out and cancel 48hrs before with no penalty, everyone just books up everything. Friendly staff, well maintained but has some flaws, wish they would consider changing the booking system for tee times. Convenient course, close to city, drains well, but can be challenging to play.
Great Public golf course. Greens and fairways in great shape. A little less expensive after 2 PM. However, 15% non Nova Scotia resident. Nevertheless a challenging abd very well maintained course
Exceptional golf, very demanding, the course definitely tests your golf skill, somewhat pricey, driving range ball included.
Disappointing Club Rental Experience. While on holidays, my fiancé and I recently played a round at your course and rented clubs for the day. While the course itself was in amazing shape, we were very disappointed with the club rentals, specifically the women's set. The men's rental set included a full 13 clubs, while the women's set had only 9. When I asked a clubhouse attendant if my set was missing clubs, I was told that the women's set was "complete" and if I wanted more clubs, I'd have to use the men's clubs. It's unfair to provide a significantly smaller number of clubs in the women's set while charging the same price as the full men's set. This practice creates an uneven playing field and makes the experience less enjoyable for any female rental customers. For a golf course that prides itself on being welcoming to all, this felt discriminatory. Providing a full 13-club set for both men and women, or adjusting the price to reflect the difference in equipment, would make your club rental options more equitable and show that you value all of your customers equally.

As a family of 4 adults we booked the services of Stewart by email prior to leaving Australia. We chose Stewart on account of the excellent reviews his business has attracted. Every kind word is fully justified. We have just completed our tour today (9/6/23) and we found Stewart to be a safe and courteous driver who had an absolute wealth of knowledge to impart in relation to Halifax and surrounds. Stewart is an excellent communicator and we recommend his services without hesitation.
Stewart was our driver to and from photos on my wedding day. The service was punctual, professional and very friendly. He offered us cold water, and even had lively maritimes music playing on our way to the location! There was a lot of traffic downtown, but Stewart navigated it calmly and with ease. We had no stress on what could have been a stressful day. Totally recommend BLT Limousine! Thanks for a great experience.
My go to for going back and forth from the airport. I haven't taken a tour but knowing Stewart im certain his tours are excellent
Professional, prompt and personable service. Highly recommend.
