When I first stopped here on the way to PEI a few years ago ago, I couldn't believe how great their coolers tasted. Best I've ever had. Sadly, their products are not sold in NS liquor stores, but the great news is that they ship FREE and quickly across the country.! My fridge is stocked for the summer and will remain that way. The new blueberry lemonade is off the charts!
drove past this place and wanted to rate 5 star because i saw a potato with vodka on its hand
We made a quick stop at Blue Roof Distillers and it turned into one of those “so glad we pulled in” moments. The tasting room is welcoming and relaxed, and the team was fantastic—friendly, funny, and happy to share the farm-to-glass story behind each pour. We tried a small flight, picked our favorites, and learned just enough about the distilling process to appreciate every sip. It’s an easy detour with great vibes, photo-worthy blue roofs, and bottles worth bringing home. Pro tip: ask about seasonal or limited releases—and have a designated driver so everyone stays happy.
What a nice little surprise. My boyfriend and I were heading to PEI to see the total eclipse. On our way we came across a giant jovial potato, we had to stop. We ended up walking out with several different kinds of selzers, a bottle of vodka and the very first bottle of the espresso vodka that they sold. So far I've only had a chance to try the regular vodka, very good. I'll report back as I try the rest.
Friendly staff and decent product. Made for a perfect gift for friends I was visiting.
Great place. Had a tasting and a tour. Bought the a bottle of the Black Tie Expresso Martini liquor for my coffee and drinks. Great tasting like Tia Maria.
Was road tripping and accidentally came across this great distillery. A defiant must stop for a tour and some beverages for the road.
Blue roof distillers is my favorite stop before going to PEI and on the way back. Vodka made with potatoes. The place smells like baked potatoes. They have Vodka soda in many different flavors. Not too sweet. The lemon & lime is my favorite. They also have tours of the distillery . Always friendly staff on hand to help.
