Always wanted to fish for Atlantic Salmon. Thank you Duane for a great experience. The river and the surrounding forest was a beautiful sight to behold. You are by far the best fishing guide I have ever had the pleasure to fish with. If you ever make it to South Fl please contact me. I would love to spend a day fishing with you. For those of you reading this post, if you got the time fishing with Duane is the real deal. His prices are affordable and he knows where to fish. You won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I took a Salmon trip with Duane at Hare bay Adventures. We knew going in that the run was not great at the time. Hooked one fish that got off But.... What a great guy that spent time explaining the river, the area and his overall knowledge of the Island. His wife Renee was equally as friendly and knowledgeable. Duane is a fantastic guide and great human being. Really enjoyed the nonstop wild brook trout fishing action (caught a dozen in 2 hrs) and wide array of discussions we had. Duane grew up there and has a diverse background, and really knows his fishing and much more! Hanging out at the cafe afterwards with Renee and the team there was very fun. HBA is a great company and great people.

Super friendly and personable! We booked the half day cruise. We saw all kinds of birds and whales and dolphins and even an abandoned community. They take you out in a small private boat which is much more of an authentic experience than some of the larger boat tours. Since there wasn’t a group booked for the afternoon we ended up spend the entire day out on the ocean. Can’t recommend more!!

A new and very experienced family owned business. Great tours, absolutely the best way to see what the eastern coast of Newfoundland has to offer. Tours are incredibly flexible, if you want to see any part of the area Duane will go out of his way to not only show you it, but give you information on literally anything you ask, be it the local history, flora and fauna, or any other random thing you can thing of. If you find your self around the Gander area, or plan on seeing some of the wild that Newfoundland has to offer, it is well worth it to give them a call. You won’t be disappointed.

Great spot. Love the focus on local artisans, including local beer, ciders and coffee. The cinnamon rolls were delicious and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Loved the chat and finding out all the cool "adventures" they offer. Looking forward to next trip home and hopefully going on an adventure of my own.
