Beautiful public nature preserve. Really easy hiking along the Sam Orr's Pond trail. We go every time we're in the area. You can even hike it in the winter. Some hills but very manageable and there are lots of natural turnaround points if you're less adventurous.
Great trail to hike. This is my favorite local trail. Nice challenge for a run.
Gorgeous trail with lots of shade. Lots of rocks and roots, so watch your step!
Check low/high tides before going, as there is a lengthy passageway hikers must cross to get to Berry Point, and if it’s covered over when travelling back through, hikers are stuck on one side of it until low tide again. Also, the sign that reads: “15 more minutes to Berry Point and end of trail” doesn’t mean you are back to the starting point. Once you reach Berry Point, you then turn around and go back the way you came. 45 minutes means “45 minutes each way,” and that’s if you’re going quickly. Very quickly— like “fast walking.” Trails are marked, but often tricky to find the signs, and you need them, because the footpaths are not always clear. Also, wear high cut hikers, because the tree roots are treacherous. There are several large boulders to climb, too. I consider this an intermediate trail, and don’t recommend for children. Extremely steep. Scenery is breathtaking. Might be the most beautiful view I’ve seen in mainland New Brunswick.
Beautiful and nicely laid out walking trails. A little bit adventurous and with beautiful views. If you decide to cross the pond by walking on the dry stones be aware some move and some are very slippery. Great place to see bald eagles.
Saint Andrews' secret hiking trails. The trials aren't really well marked, with some signs hidden behind branches etc, but the nature preserve has trails for most fitness levels. There's a stunning view at the top of the cliff hike and lovely water views if you take the trail circling the pond. We didn't get to the trails on the other side of the highway, but would recommend them based on our experience.
Loved this trail! Spent a few hours with a good friend exploring and enjoying nature! Proper footwear would be advised for this one, sharp rocks, roots and fire ants.
Nice park with varied natural spots to explore including brackish pond that floods with the tides. Great job by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick to preserve this land!
