Great place to see critters while sitting on a porch out of the rain.
Right at the entrance of the Park. A great and beautiful place to observe the wild life and natural environment. The rooms are basic but clean. The electricity unfortunately didn't work when we stayed there.
Closed to visitors when we came to the reserve, but a good place to hang out and watch birds at the edge of the jungle. Its right by the entrance to the park.
No water, minimal electricity, some guys things in the lower room. Besides this it is in an amazing area, with a great view.

What a wonderful surprise. Walked in without arranging anything and had a great tour of the factory, including a tasting of all the products they make. We loved it. My wife who doesn't like spicy food, tried all the sauces, It was fantastic! If you have an hour or two to spend, this is a great option.
We did the hot sauce tour and sampling and the wine tasting. Dee Dee was super friendly and Shakira gave us a great tour. The hot sauce were amazing! We bought a ton of travel sized ones to take home!
I was finally able to make it! I love Mary Sharp’s jams/marmalade and my husband loves thir spicy sauces. When we arrived, we went inside the visitor centre and we were very warmly welcomed….Because there was another group, we had the tasting of all their products! Very well detailed and organized. The tasting aa accompanied by a very delicious pineapple juices, without any added ingredients (pure natural pineapple juice). After that we went to visit the factory, which is really interesting (I donn’t want to spoil the visit too much). I would definitely recommend a visit and a tour here. Staff: super friendly and welcoming Ambience: super and relaxing
Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the good reviews. The lady in the store was very unfriendly and we didn't feel welcome. We couldn't try any sauces or jam, so we only bought 2 sauces and a jam based on our gut feeling. But what really disappointed us was that no matter which store we went to afterwards, the sauces were cheaper everywhere (!) than in the factory itself. That seems like a rip-off to us. The large bottle cost over $7 in the factory, the mini bottle $3, the gift box $16. We have added some pictures that show much cheaper prices outside the factory, taken in several stores.
We just finished their “tour” and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. 😂 $120 bzd for 3 adults and 3 kids. A person gave a 20min presentation of the farm and then we got some strawberry squash juice (do not recommend), 3 crackers for tasting the hot sauces and jam. Then we got tasting of 2 wines (do not recommend). The hot sauces were good and the jams were good but wished we got an official tour. See a pepper plant or something in real life. Save your $ and just buy the product. People were friendly but the tour sucked. My recommendation is for them to change the pricing and call it a tasting or do an actual tour. Tell me that the mango tree up front created the mangos for the sauce, the cactus across the office were used for the sauce…something. People were nice and products are good so that deserve a star.
My husband and I were so excited that we had time to hit the tour on the way to the airport. The factory tour was so interesting and Deedee was pleasant and upbeat. I didn’t think there was any way I’d make it through all the hot sauces, but they arrange them in a way to give you a break with the heat levels in between products. We’ll definitely check out the medicinal tour when we return.
The hot sauce and jelly tasting, plus a factory tour, was absolutely fantastic. Make sure to have closed toe shoes in order to go on the factory floor. Prices at the shop were just below what you'd pay at the grocery store. If you bring your own lunch they will sometimes do the hot sauce tasting outside at picnic tables with your own food. Feel the heat!
We stopped for the tour & tasting—it was great! I’d highly recommend stopping at the beginning of your time in Belize so you can enjoy all of the delicious products while you’re vacationing!

What was expected to be a boring 2 hour Dangriga-Belize airport transfer turned out to be a fun adventure! Communication with Angel was easy and efficient during the booking process. The ride was safe, comfortable, informative and very enjoyable. Angel is a great conversation partner and very knowledgeable about the history and sightseeing highlights of Belize. I highly recommend!
My wife and I needed transfer after our Raggamuffin tour that ended in Dangriga. Angel was waiting for us at the dock with a sign and a smile. Although we just needed a quick transfer to Hopkins he was friendly and provided helpful information about the immediate area including some of its history. We learned a lot in a short 20 mins. We also booked Live Belize for a transfer from Hopkins to the Dangriga airport the day of our departure, and Angel was once again punctual. I'd highly recommend Live Belize to anyone needing top rate transportation.

We loved meeting Pen and exploring his family's art. Incredible talent! Bought a CD that we listened to all week.
Very rich and lovely cultural experience and phenomenal art by several artists as well as gift items. They also offer workshops in outdoor area.
A must visit once in Griga. Pen is a living legend.
I really love it because he displays what the Garifuna culture is all about. I think that the gallery have a lot of information that others need to know about our culture. I thank Mr. Pen and h is wife for the beautiful showcase and continue doing what is the best to keep the Garifuna culture alive.
Worth visiting great experience meeting both Pen and his wife Ingrid. They are both very talented and there is a lot of learn about the local Garifuna Culture through art and music at Pen Cayetano Studio.
It's a must on your to-do list. Wonderful venue and gallery.
