Did the Izopo tour. Very friendly guides. Excellent from beginning to end. The guides spoke English which was a bonus for me. It was fun being on the water and navigating the passages of the mangroves. Would definitely recommend it. We didn't see any animals though just heard them close by.
My friends and I went rafting on the Río Cangrejal in La Ceiba with Garifuna Tours. It is an absolute must! The experience was incredible from start to finish. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting and unique way to explore Honduras!
Coming from Houston Texas Garifuna Tours went above and beyond before my arrival. Everything was perfect and the Punta Sal tour was the highlight. Seeing howler monkeys and snorkeling was fun. George was a great tour guide and went above and beyond to show us around!
Tour to Punta Sal was great and good price. Very fun experience! We didn't know we had to pay cash though. Took off 1 star because communication was not the best. I got fast responses when I emailed them questions weeks before the trip but less response when I was ready to book. I wanted to book a 2nd tour but no one replied to my email or WhatsApp message. For that, I cannot recommend them to others.
Amazing tour! Thank you so much for a great experience! Highly recommend
Did the Punta Sal tour and loved it! Put your bathing suit on at the beginning of the tour, and you'll enjoy it at the max.
This is a great place start when looking for fun things to do in Honduras!!!
Had a great experience. They are kind, knowledgable, serious and we felt safe and comfortable. They are upfront about costs and expectations and very easy to work with. Our tour guides were a lot of help through the hike and snorkeling and I would recommend and will book more tours with them.

Miguel is a great guide. A French adventurer leaving more than 20 years in Honduras. Really loves the country and it’s people. Does an important job for the community and is actually one of them. They have tours all over the country. He has a lot of good fun stories. You will not only go on a fun tour, you will also help the community around.
Get in touch with nature a great place to enjoy nature with the family , friends and nature🤗
My friend and I had a great time the tour was great lots yo see locos are nice.

(Translated by Google) I am Salvadoran, I went to spend my vacation in Honduras, I was super excited because I would go snorkeling, for which I hired a package with the company Coco Tours. Which I sincerely regret, it was a scam... I gladly canceled the packages (3 adults and a girl) because my great excitement was snorkeling as did my 11 year old girl (she canceled as an adult) my disappointment was that the day of the Tours, even though I asked that I wanted to practice this sport, the guide told us that he did not know that Miguel had not told him about it, but that he would lend us masks so that we would do it... so I asked many times what time until at 1 they told us that We had to leave because the wind was blowing a lot. I told him that I didn't want to leave without snorkeling because it was the main reason why I bought those Tours, but it didn't happen anyway. I wrote to Miguel and his response was that we did not ask for it while we were in Punta Sal and that is why we were not given something, when he should know that when something is offered in a package or advertising the client does not need to ask for it. give MUCH LESS BEGGING LIKE I DID, it is the company's obligation to give it... my two stars are for how well the capi and Oliver behaved with them, we were delighted. As for the manager, at the beginning he behaved very well but in the end they came out with this. I just hope he can't fool any more people with his false advertising.

In just plain words: This is paradise...located in northern Honduras. Jeannette Kawas National Park is a beautiful piece of land, at the end of Tela Bay. Pristine white sand beaches, you can enjoy snorkeling admiring the Mesoamerican Coral Reef...feast your body with the local flavours of the Garífuna gastronomy. Honsuras is awaiting for you!!
Beautiful park, with monkeys, several beaches, and coral reefs. I highly recommend booking a tour of the park a day in advance with a local guide. If you like, you can find several guides along the beach in Tela near the mouth of the river who are eager to take you to the park. It will take about 45 minutes to reach the park in an open boat, so be sure to wear sunscreen or long sleeves and pants to avoid burns. There are food and drinks available at First Beach, as well as primitive bathrooms.
Well, the main beach is a little bit prettier than one in Tela, but there was A LOT OF SEA FLEAS or something else really small but bites very and very painful, and it getting worth on the second day when all of the bites appeared as a red itching nightmare!!! I don't know if the rain the night before we took a tour might be the reason of the increasing amount of this beasts, but it was terrible. We just couldn't wait for the boat taking us back! And even not mentioning this fleas, the tour wasn't even good...we landed on one beach covered with trash (La Bolsa) than went through the jungle to even smaller peace of bech, also covered with trash!!! During this walk, mosquitos followed us all the time and bite as hard and many times as they can. Than we went back to the main beach (where you can order the really expensive food) and had 10 minutes for snorkeling. as long as they only offered glasses, without a snorkel tube!!! we decided not to snorkel. After that, we had 3 hours on the main beach and it was a torture.
Worth checking out. It has a pretty nature trail and a relaxing restaurant.
So beautiful. Must see if you're around Tela. Snorkeling and lunch available.
You may bring a cooler with drinks and snacks, but make sure you take all your garbage back. For about$15 ypu can buy delicious lunch there. The water and the sights are amazing.
Beautiful preserve. Gotta get there by boat from Tela and it is worth the trip. Clear waters, reef, natural beauty. Great place to visit. You can hire a boat and captain at the Tela beach.
What a beautiful day it was... Just got to pay attention to heat stroke 🥵 I came close.. I was radiating heat for the rest of the day and the next.. Great time though..

Nothing like this beach. Fished all night long and caught a few. Great waves. Have to come back suring daylight
Beautiful, clean and empty of other tourists! The food is amazing there. Great camping spot too.
Very beautiful and very peaceful
It takes almost an hour to get there from town but us worthy... peaceful and clean, there's a new hotel nearby and an excellent restaurant...
Best beach I've visited so far. There aren't many food options since it's a national park, so if your are planing to come make sure you bring something to eat.
Its a beutiful beach but the hotel there prohibits free public to visit, even do they dont own the beach.
Very remote yet beautiful beach. A place where you can either relax on a hammock and listen to the waves or go for a boat ride in the Laguna de Los Micos
