Thank you Alex for fitting us in last minute! We went during off season so we basically had a private tour of the Barton Creek Cave. One of the coolest and most special experiences I've had. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and just an all around cool human. Also the lunch was absolutely delicious!

Ed and Jaheem were the GOAT!! They were knowledgeable beyond my expectations and hopes. My husband and I were fortunate to have them for our Caracol and Tubing/Zip line tours. I highly recommend Mayawalk and these 2 fine young men.

We did the ATM cave tour and had the amazing luck to get Hugh as our guide (highly suggest requesting him if possible). He encouraged us to ask questions and shared his wealth of knowledge about the Maya and what these caves meant to them. He narrated the entire 45 minute drive from San Ignacio, giving us a super interesting history lesson along the way, and if you pay attention you will learn so much about the Maya and the connections between human actions and the consequences of those actions that affect our environment. We felt incredibly privileged to take part in such an informative adventure, and I recommend booking through MayaWalk should you choose to do it. The next day we went to Caracol with Edione as our guide, and he was also a great story teller, with a ton of knowledge about the Maya to share. The ruins at Caracol have to be seen in person to truly appreciate the scale and craftsmanship that came from these ancient people, and I truly believe you can't go wrong booking either of these amazing tours with MayaWalk. I hope to go back within the next couple of years to take part in the other tours they offer!

We had a great trip doing the Barton Creek Cave canoeing and the Calico Jack’s ziplining. We were picked up right at our lodging, which was nice. Emil, our guide, answered a million questions about every topic and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I can’t recall her name, but the woman who prepared our lunch did a great job. Everything was very tasty: chicken, rice, beans, a little salad, and a tiny cupcake. Belize is beautiful, and we got to experience that on this trip in more ways than one.

Great knowledgeable guides, both for the maya ruines and the horseback riding. Only thing that was missing was a proper lunch (location) and/or breakfast (location). When the tour already starts at 7.15 am you would expect something like that.

We joined the Caracol tour with Isael. The tour was extremely informative (he was able to answer basically any question we asked him about Belize, nature, and Mayan history). Caracol itself is awe-inspiring, and we felt so fortunate to be able to visit with such a knowledgeable guide. The lunch provided was delicious, and included tofu for the vegetarians. We really enjoyed the stops at the Rio Frio cave (so dramatic!) and Rio On pools (very refreshing!). Definitely would recommend booking with Mayawalk.

Highly recommend! We did the Barton Creek Canoe Tour with Mayawalk Tours. Our guide Alex gave an excellent tour with his charming and knowledgeable manner. Exploring the cave by canoe is extremely impressive. Anyone who has the opportunity should definitely book this tour. Thank you, Alex, for the wonderful experience.
