My wife and I stayed in August. It is now October, and I am just getting to leave this review. Some of the delay is because I wanted to leave the best review I could, and it has taken a while to set aside the time needed. We read the reviews and the property info, but the experience was so much more. When we arrived, we called and were met by the owner, Gian Carlos. He is truly good people. We were given a remote for the property gate for the duration of our stay and shown to our cabin. The cabin was extremely well designed with enough room to comfortably serve a family but for the two of us it was great. There is a porch we sat on almost every evening and just soaked in the beauty. We were even able to watch the steam from a volcano in the distance. The birds and plants are so beautiful, and it is all yours. We enjoyed, so much speaking to Gian Carlos. He suggested that we go to a neighbor's farm up the road a few km and we did. There we met a wonderful couple Linda and Ernie. They moved there from the States a long time ago and run an amazing eco-friendly farm. They treated us as friends from the moment we met. We have since ordered more coffee on their website. It is delicious. OK back to the cabin. It was August and we had all the windows open (w/screens) and had no problem with bugs. The temperature was comfortable. The bed was comfortable... everything was beyond expectation, but the best part was the owner. We left Costa Rica with a friend in Gian Carlos. We will be back.

Loved this place. It was lovely, spacious and beautiful. It is a bit remote and the only cabin on this farm so it is very quiet, but that can be a good thing! The cabin is spacious and clean and feels brand new even though it has been there for five years. The farm is really nice and tidy and the host was excellent and very friendly and kind, even giving us jam as a parting gift! The kitchen was well equipped and tidy, the bathroom was clean and new with a nice tub, the bedrooms had nice bedding and efforts were taken to make sure the place was well ventilated, cozy and a good night's sleep. The location is a bit remote and there wasn't actually a lot to see or do in this area for us, but the accommodation itself was five stars! Clean, comfy, spacious and I slept well!

A gorgeous wooden cabin in the countryside located in a farm surrounded by mountains and green - scenic and beautiful! The interior of the cabin is flawless...clean, neat, new, organized, and with every essential ranging from a kitchen to wifi. Perfect for a quiet couple getaway. The owner is very nice and helpful. Recommended!

I can't give 5 stars because the price is expensive and the cabin was somewhat close to a public street so some light entered the cabin. In the other hand, it was a great experience away from the regular urban setting.

The room is located away from the actual farm and is in the green with a beautiful mountain view. Everything we needed was there in terms of equipment. The owner/landlord is very, very friendly and you can clearly feel his passion. Everything perfect! We'd love to come back. (Original) Im ersten Moment sind wir etwas erschrocken, als wir dem Navi die löchrige Strasse entlang gefolgt sind. Doch hinter diesem unscheinbaren, roten Tor liegt ein kleines Paradies... Das Zimmer befindet sich abseits von der eigentlichen Farm und liegt im grünen mit schöner Bergsicht. An Ausstattung war auch alles da, was wir gebraucht hatten. Der Eigentümer/Vermieter ist sehr sehr freundlich und man kann seine Passion deutlich spüren. Alles perfekt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.
