Great customer service, theyve got affordable baby products ❤️
Seriously...how long does it take to get an item from Port Elizabeth to East London?? It allegedly left PE on Monday 1 Sept. It's now Friday 5 Sept and no sign of the item, and no-one can give you any answer as to WHERE it is and when it could arrive. Shocking service. It was supposed to be here for my daughter's birthday. Well, that's come and gone. Thank you for teaching her a lesson is disappointment.
If you ever want to enquire about stock, please do not phone this branch!! I phoned to find out if they have a specific toy, it said they have limited stock available on the website but wanted to confirm. The lady who answered was extremely short and put the phone down in my ear twice. How rude!
what a great shop to go into... fun of all ages even adults... be prepared when taking your kids in though as it could be an expensive trip. There is a wide variety of products to choose from... the online purchasing for collection or delivery is quick and very user friendly... Staff are somewhat on the ball, just depends on what day and time you visit but other than that great service.
I saw an item online and the store showed stock available. Store did infact NOT have the stock. I asked them to check stores and was told Durban has, they will arrange for it to be sent. Everyday I have had to follow-up with the store. Told them from the start (saturday) I walked in I need the item by Friday. Today I call "oh sorry we still don't have it" maybe in next week.
I go absolutely crazy when I enter ToysRUs, so just imagine how the kid's feel. I love shopping here, they always have goods on sale or marked down which is amazing. I generally shop here mostly for my daughter's Avent products. I must say that during my last 5 visits to the store I didn't find what I went for. Avent bottle brush; Avent Teets; Avent bottles.
We wanted to buy a product but it had no price tag. Which is kind of sad because they really have nice things there. Just a tip, after you greet customers. Don't just walk away, ask them if they need help with anything. In this economy if you see new parents shopping, help them save money .
Bought a reggie's toy only lasted 1 day, looked liked they didn't really want to return it but almost doing me a favor to do so. Great variety of toys for the kids but always seems to be a problem when returning due to quality

Wow, haven't been here for a good couple of years, thought we'd get out the house and treat the kids to something different, and a treat it was! My eldest daughter, almost four was so excited! We arrived just before feeding time , which in the morning is 11:30. She got to feed the penguins, awesome experience for her. The place has really changed, expanded with a easy to walk on deck between attractions. Thanks so much to all the staff!
The worst and overpriced place I have ever visited. The aquarium is very small with a limited number of marine species. Some of the viewing areas were closed for maintenance and seemed rather unsafe and uncared for. Waste of time for a family outing! Avoid the bathrooms, just do not go there.
Place has so much potential. My kids enjoyed it. Feeding times are 11:30&15:30.
sorry to say but the place is not in a very good state. alot of tank where under construction and leaking water and they r very small for the amount of fish in them.. must say the animals look sad..
This was a lovely visit to the East London Aquarium. The entrance fee was reasonable. The animals were well cared for. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and let my children feed the penguins. Despite there clearly being limited funding, it hasn’t affected the staff’s attitude or the care that the animals receive. A small gift shop sells items on behalf of “friends of the aquarium” to help raise funds. Unfortunately, they only accept cash for these items, so make sure to bring some along. Overall it was a great experience. Go there, they need the support! The seals love to have company!
Not that I dislike it but it's rather a sad situation happening there. Some cages are empty. There isn't much to see expect the penguins. The only thing amazing is the ocean view. The big seal is depressed you can tell the EL people are trying to preserve it by adopting the animals but there's only so much that they can do.
This is not the biggest aquarium there is, but it was fun to visit. There are a few tanks with colourful fish, a room with interesting facts about sea life, a pool with seals, another with penguins and two big pelicans. We arrived on feeding time (11:30) for the seals, penguins, pelicans and sharks (they're in a tidal pool) and the little ones enjoyed throwing fish to the penguins.
Had an awesome day at the aquarium with great knowledge of fish species. It's good to note the feeding times before going because you can actually feed some penguins. The aquarium could use a good tuck shop for snacks, but overall it was a great experience especially for the little one

I spent just over 2hrs here. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The display windows have so much detail. Every piece is brilliant. It's definitely worth a visit. I also loved that so many of the descriptions are original, old paper notes. The museum spans 2 floors. There's a lot to learn here. If you love history, this place will make your heart smile.
Great experience. 30 rand per adult. We were reminded at 3:33 to "Make it quick. We close at 4" so we felt rushed. The lights were switched off already in the African history and Victorian Ages parts. I guess the workers wanted an early Weekend as it was a Friday. But we didn't let that 'dampen' our mood.
Surprisingly a good field trip. Clean and very friendly and welcoming staff. Very reasonable price for adults and children and seniors. A lot of rich history and quite educational. Also impressed with the collection of artifacts on display. Definitely worth a visit with family and children.
not big on visiting museums went there to pass some time.. and then we actually foumf it very intresting and learned quite a few things i never new.. not a bad place to ho and the staff was very frindly...
The best museum ever! You could spend an entire day there . Fascinating exhibits
What a beautiful museum! We loved every minute of exploring the wide varity of information and displays. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We could have easily spent another hour or so there, but unfortunately it was time for the museum to close.
A friend we are visiting in East London suggested this museum and it was a fascinating way to spend a few hours. The story of the once thought extinct coelacanth and the last known dodo egg is now incredibly interesting to see and hear about.

I spent an afternoon at the zoo with my family and it truly was a wonderful experience, we spent a few hours touring the whole zoo, and then we had a picnic on the grass in the afternoon. The animals are in pristine condition, and you can see that they are well looked after which made me very happy. There aren’t as many animals as back in the day, but there are still a good amount that are there. 10/10 recommend this as a family outing.
The location is great because is not far from town. Its reachable even if you dont have personal transport. There's peacock, wild pigs, bears, jackals, white Lions, tiger, jaguar, chimpanzee, different breeds of monkeys, birds, snakes, crocodile, turtles, impala/inyala and more small animals i dont even know by name just know them from Nat geo wild. There's alot to see there. It was great. You pay at the reception +/- R65 adult and discount on kids. I almost didn't go when i read reviews there'snt alot to see. But i tell you there's alot, just ask where to go. Staff is friendly
We recently went to visit the EL zoo and was pleasantly surprised. Not only did our 22month old loved seeing the animals and enjoyed playing on the various playgrounds. The zoo is neat and the animals appear well fed and healthy. The grounds boast with beautiful green areas with large trees. The visit to the the Zoo was a great opportunity to teach our little one about different animals. we will definitely visit again.
It was a great experience, I was stoked to get up close and personal with the Bengal Tiger and various other animals we don't really have in CPT as far as I know.
It was packed with people, it was an open day, so free entry, loved seeing the animals, was really a good day
oh my word.. what a disgrace op a place ppl dhould really stop to go there just so it could close down and they can relocate the few animals still there.. half of them is empty the animals is one one in a cadge and is so dirty and broken down. the bathrooms was even wours. i would not recoment it to anybody
1.Definitely enclosure improvements 2.Animals are in good condition 3. Unfortunately not many animals to see but the main ones are there. 4. Children's play area is well maintained 5. Unfortunately the train was not active nor were the boat rides Although there were some let downs, it's a great place to spend the day. Take a picnic basket and a blanket and enjoy lunch while the kids play.
Animals are well fed we loved to walking through everything place needs some fund to look better but can see they are trying their best well-done to the people working there

Busy with lots of families enjoying the fine weather and looking at the friendly animals. There was a public view of the lions being fed.
Was very good, played with the monkeys, plus park has cheetahs, lamas, giraffe, tigers (white and normal) plus of course lions. Could buy food for ducks, rabbits, pony, donkeys and some of the other animals. Very reasonable price, and enjoyed the food. Animals looked well after and staff were very friendly and open. Kids loved it. Would definitely recommend.
Nice place to visit for the day. There is a Braai spot where you can have a braai or a Pot. Great place fir the kids to play and feed the animals. I will definitely take my pot and stay for the whole day...
Its a great place, four white lions, and many types of monkeys. What I liked, you can go and braai there and spend a day, with a little fee. An adult is 50r kids 25r. Its fun.
For small kids is great, for adults a bit boring... They have a new attraction which is interacting with spider monkeys, which is awesome, although the monkeys can get cranky and bite... Hehhehehe that happened to us.
Great area for family outings the lions are up close and personal and awesome playground for kids with rabbits running all over
Awesome spot to take the kids, feeding time is usually at 12:30 on a Sunday. Little ones had so much fun!
Hmmm not sure what to say ... To me, some of the animals were showing signs of aggression... But the junior lions were cute

Peaceful, awesome place to enjoy nature! Sit and watch the birds or take a stroll on the boardwalk down to a quiet little stretch of the river. A relaxing way to spend the day
Lovely walk. Highly recommend this as a day outing. The walk takes you to a secluded beach and you can choose some very comfortable walks through the forests.
Our special place in the centre of East London. Pure peace and a sanctuary for the environment, animal, bird and plant life that is encouraged to thrive there. A WONDERFUL gem of an assett to nature loving environmentally aware visitors to this special place. It restores my soul .
Held uncle in law birthday there ...loved the boardwalk....need to register so I can go there anytime and take those walks and watch the birds....
Such a beautiful piece of nature right in the middle of East London. There are boardwalks, bird hides and forest walks. The reserve is well maintained and the walks are easy with picnic tables, benches and bins dotted along the way. There are plenty of birds to see as well as the occasional buck and dassie.
Beautiful, peaceful and lovely sightings of birds, duikers and daisies.
Beautiful place to be, trails marked.

Decent place to see and learn about different snakes. Integrated into a rather friendly golf course. Oh they were willing to let us touch and feel a huge python. Kids will love it. Nice food area as well.
Beautiful snakes and tortoises and chickens and alligators...or is it crocodiles?! Anyways, so informative and relaxed atmosphere while pondering just how great God made the animals as well to fit perfectly in the ecosystem!
Perfect mashie Golf course!! And a bonus is the huge deck where you can chill with a cold one and yummy meal afterwards! I really recommend this place! Friendly people, lovely vibe!
Great place for a family outing, play a round of mashie golf and have a bite to eat
We love coming here. Always friendly staff and a good vibe.
Very friendly staff and so many snakes to see as well as some surprises. Sunday is a good day to go to see the show. Even get to touch a snake! Young and old enjoyed this outing.
Excellent food and beaufiful music. Snake demo was something I will always remember. Well done young man. Best enjoyment so far on the East Coast

I had the privilege of using Marlene's Light Room for a small seminar yesterday 24/10/25. Right from my initial contact with Marlene, and subsequent dealings with Claire I was impressed with their customer centric approach, but have to add that Claire is an outstanding ambassador for the business. I was given all the answers I needed, they delivered everything I needed, prepared the venue and everything was 100% in order in very good time. At No.99 I had unexpected needs to be able to keep contact with my Head Office during my meeting, and without any fuss whatsoever Claire and Leanne stepped in so willingly and reassuringly to help me with a solution. The staff I encountered were all, friendly and helpful, the setting is so uncomplicated, the gardens are peaceful, beautifully manicured, tranquil, and my delegates all thoroughly enjoyed the experience of the ambience and setting for our meeting. I will definitely recommend this venue any time and thank Marlene, Claire and the team for the wonderful experience. Thank you all and bless you - I'll be back!
This was one of the venues for the event today and it was beautiful. Haven't been here in years and the garden is looking as amazing as ever. Beautiful energy. Talented photographer.
A hugely uplifting, deep experience visiting the gallery, meeting Marlene and have already finished a book we bought today. Hugely inspiring.
This is an absolute must if you are ever in Eadt London. A beautiful galley and stunning art. The garden surrounded is spectacular and a haven for wildlife. I would recommend any photographer to visit to learn about Marlenes style and chat to her. What a wonderful experience it was.
Beautiful place. Beautiful art. Very friendly people at the place. You feel welcome from the time that you step in to the gates.
It was wonderful experience in Marlene’ Gallery! Beautiful artworks and beautiful garden! I also bought a new book from the gallery yesterday, thanks for giving me a wonderful memory in East London!
What a delightful find. We could spend hours in this beautiful gallery. We even got to meet the artist, Marlene in person. Left feeling uplifted and inspired
U must attend her workshops. Was really a great time learning and seeing how many photographers are so different with wonderful talent. ☺

Child friendly playing area where the children get to connect with other kids,if you have been probably shopping all day and you get to pause n give them a 10 min playtime
Clear instructions on where the shops and the toilets are and most importantly clean toilets. Kouds to the cleaning stuff. Mall is only missing pep store.
It’s school holidays, that means mom and daughter time at our fave spot- wimpy vincent park. We took advantage of the classic burger special & chips for R69. Our waitress was welcoming and kept checking if we’re enjoying ourselves. Her name is Malungi. And the management was also around to check if we’re alright. Affordability: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Hygiene: 10/10 Food:10/10 Great experience for a toddler too, play area was clean and quiet. My daughter also enjoyed her experience.
Vincent Park is a clean, safe, and convenient mall with a great variety of shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is friendly, and parking is easy. It's the perfect spot for a quick stop or a relaxed day of shopping. Highly recommended!
Today I battled to leave the centre as I had forgotten my wallet at home with no money to pay my parking ticket I went to the parking office only to be told that I. Could not be helped I. Then asked for a manger was given a lady's number 9 called her and she said I should look around for money she can't help I then proceeded to ask for her manager (Indian guy) was told who was not on. Site the way he was so rude to me asking me questions as to what was I doing at the mall without my wallet... How long have I been there... Doing what exactly with no wallet unfortunately then I was getting irritated as I was rushing to my sons rugby match he told me not unless we go through all his million questions he can't help I then went to the info desk explain my problem to a lovely lady there she suggested I go to the centre management who called 1 of the parking staff (the lady) who he told me would assist... As I was Leaving the centre offices he sarcastically said please next time don't leave your wallet as we won't be able to help you.... I told him there won't be any next time as I'm fed with how they treat shoppers... Won't set my foot there.. Such rudeness at Vincent pity shop assistants are way better than then they need some training
A very peaceful retail complex in the peaceful suburb. Perfect for the family. It has all the stores one would find in a huge mall, the benefit is that it is less crowded, even on a busy day.
Had lunch with my wife and Kwanda after we had watch Kummy's theatre play at Guild Theatre. Broadway Shrek #Merrifield
Great mall if don't like walking around too much and it isn't overwhelming. Parking can be somewhat of a hassle on public holidays and busy weekends. A personal favourite.

Easy to find. Lovely way to spend 20-30 minutes in East London. Can easily combine with a visit to the nearby city museum. They had an exhibit by graduate students at the time which was excellent. Lovely grounds and staff.
This was such a lovely experience. It almost felt like I'd stepped back in time. There was no entrance fee, but you can leave a donation. The gentleman I met with was very kind and friendly.
The art in this place is amazing. To upcoming artist and big time selling artist, the gallery is draped in nothing but art from the walls to statues on the floors, or ornaments hanging from the ceiling. It's outdoor area is calming and soothing as it has so many different trees and beautiful green grass to expose yourself more to nature and get some sunlight. I love that the outdoors are always clean no matter when you get there, it doesn't disappoint.
Art works housed in a lovely old building that is looking very sad. The artwork encompasses a broad selection of South African artists but they too look like they are falling into disrepair in the uncontrolled and hot conditions. Judging by the alarming library of jumbled books not enough care is being taken of the art. Yet again it seems to be dwindling resources.
Lovely morning spent here. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and shown into the gallery. The curator was very friendly and told us a little about the history of the venue and helped us out with a catalogue of the pieces. Great experience and beautiful art, definitely worth a visit!
I did not hate it but it was not my cup of tea either. The building is tidy and beautiful, the art is interesting but I am more of the abstract art so that I can make up my mind about what I am seeing. It is in a quiet location. I have not ordered anything yet
Very bad experience. The gate was open but the building seemed empty and locked. No welcome, no staff, no board saying the exhibt was close, nothing. I walked around the building to find someone in the office. I knocked and the window and was rudely told loadshedding, no hello sir, no sorry to inform you but the power will be back at this time, he didnt even bother to get out of his chair he shouted at me from accross the room. Not to my suprise all the robots and street lights where working I even enquired at another business about the loadshedding and there was no loadshedding. Its almost as if the person was annoyed that I wanted to come and see the art. He was more worried about his phone than doing his job. Its quite sad to see as the building and complex with such rich with atmosphere and history being treated in such a way, the place does have alot of potential and would have been nice to see. But it has left a bitter experience for me.
Excellent. Peaceful, quiet and serene. It makes a lovely wedding venue. If you would like to engage in arts and crafts outdoors this place will do as well. It's free from distraction and disturbance. You may visit the gallery if you wish to view artworks every day except Sunday. Visit the gallery for more details

Clean, neat and friendly Buffalo City
Appreciated the Christmas lights display. Lots of attention to detail.
Clean , beautiful view
Council busy up grading the facility. Plenty of lifeguards but litter was unbelievable although they did have one cleaner. Numerous managers walking around but no work being done.
What happened.. ?? Use to be very nice years ago.. Pools empty.. Dirt on shore.. One lifegaurd.. Come on Buffalo City what happens to your pride.. Is this how you want to present yourself to the world.. Very saddened about the state of our country letting our attractions go to ground like this...

Quality items for dogs and cats with professional and caring service makes this the best Vetshop in East London. During the week they have a vet available for consultations. This store offers a delivery service in town.
The service received was absolutely amazing. All the staff work extremely hard and tirelessly and one can easily notice the passion that they have for each animal that they help. Thank you wildcoast vet. I'll recommend you to anyone that I come across.
Amazing service and dedication of a Vet that is obviously passionate about the health and care of animals an absolute breath of fresh air in a world where passion and dedication in service are hard to find. 10/10 will be recommending to everyone I can.

I showed up at the lighthouse and the gate was closed. The lighthouse keeper was busy with some maintenance but he was kind enough to let me in, and I took a walk to the top. The view was amazing. We had a little chat, and I took some pics and left. Great experience as I'd never been inside a lighthouse before.
The Gate was closed on arrival. Although according to visitors hours it was open. When we opened the gate there was no one to assist us. We walked around to the first building and then a security guard arrived asking us what are we doing here 🤔. Are you kidding this is a attraction point for tourists and we were not allowed to view it.. Telephones numbers on the information board is not working.
It has a beautiful golf course, obviously it's next to the beach so there's a magnificent view. I would recommend this place to someone who loves golfing. But I have to say I didn't like how the air smelled, smelled like something was rotten maybe because its close to the ocean.
very disapointed. went to visit and it was closed so we open the gate to go in there is nobofy at lighthouse the contact no is not working. we manadge to get 2 fotos before the security asked us what we r doing there. so we left .complete waste of our time...
We always wanted to see what it looks like from inside a lighthouse, my family loved the experience! Hood Point is very well kept and has nice safe parking.
The Lighthouse is a spectacular place to view. However it is closed in and you will have to get permission by the Lighthouse keepers to go in and touch or walk around it. This is due to vandalism which is understandable. However you can come very close without having to go into the grounds. Ive had a first hand experience as my father in law lives there and maintains the Lighthouse.
What an amazing experience! Seeing the life of a lighthouse keeper. Lovely school outing.
Amazing view and a space of silence
