"It's a great spot for a weekend evening. The view is beautiful, with the sun seeming to sink into the sea and the refreshing waves bringing in fresh air. It would be a lovely time to spend with loved ones while enjoying a cup of coffee. 🌅🌊☕"
This is a beautiful geological formation similar to the Cathedral at Zion in the USA. The major difference where the place in Luanda is that the formations are next to the beach. Overall, a good experience.
Viewpoint of the Moon The Viewpoint of the Moon is a stunning natural lookout offering panoramic views that resemble the surface of the moon. Located in a rugged, rocky landscape, it s a perfect spot for photography, sunset watching, and appreciating the raw beauty of nature. A peaceful escape with an otherworldly atmosphere.
Amazing view. Picturesque scenes of rocks and ocean. Clean and dignified place. Available restroom. Small coffee shop and market of local souvenirs. Secure parking. Entrance AOA 1,000.
Amazing place in Angola. Beautiful nature, peace and unique energy and sunshine.
An incredible place, from the outcrops to each sample, simply a unique experience.
A fantastic view. It's a pity that you unfortunately don't come to the beach to see everything from below.
Crazy beautiful place. Awesome views. You pay an entry fee. 500 Kwanza for a car that seats 5 people. 1000 Kwanza for a car that sits up to 12 people. There's a small bar with cold drinks and snacks. Very well maintained benches and viewpoint. Stunning views of the rock formations and beach in the background. Highly recommend.

One of the best history lessons I’ve experienced. If you are in Luanda, this place is a must. Being able to walk the grounds, read historical documents and catch some amazing views made the visit worthwhile.
A must to understand the recent history of this very young country. Make sure you have somebody that can explain the story and you can understand the different conflicts.
Great place with great view of the city. Our guide was very kind and explain us a lot about Angola history!
A must visit if in Luanda with great views and nice exhibits, you feel like you’re walking through time. This is where the big Angola flag sits
Nice spot and view but only limited historical information
Interesting. Great views and a calm and safe place to walk around.
Interesting place to visit. It has this coministic feel to it. A bit of military gear, but most attractive is the view towards the city and slums on the other side. Be aware that you can only pay with local bank cards, otherwise cash. Absolutelly worth attention.
Old Portuguese fort with a nice view over the city displaying different types of weapons used in Angola and some civil war loot. There's also a restaurant one level down on the backside.

Worth a visit! Stay for sunset and - at least midweek - you'll most likely have the beach and all of the shipwrecks to yourself. Visited May 27, 2022.
I was on this beach in December 2023 and there is nothing left to see. Nothing remains of the shipwrecks. All of them were pulled ashore and the steel was used by the inhabitants of a nearby village or sold for scrap. The beach is full of small rowing boats and the last bits of scrap metal. There is no longer a trace of the ship graveyard :/
The shipwreck is no longer there.
All ships are gone, no ships available to see anymore, very disappointing.
(Translated by Google) Because it is so unique, it is definitely worth a visit! The beach is quite dirty, except for the small resort that exists (and is not signposted from the trail) where you can enjoy a clean beach with some support. You can take a long walk along the beach to see the dozens of abandoned ships there.
(Translated by Google) The ship graveyard was a beach where the attraction was a series of abandoned ships in the surf zone, practically on the sand. Today, these ships have been dismantled and cut up, leaving only small remains, so it no longer represents any attraction. However, the beach is long and the sand vast. It's almost always deserted, so for those who enjoy peace and freedom, there's a beach here. No entanto, a praia é londa e o areal vasto. É uma praia quase sempre deserta, daí para quem gosta de sossego e de liberdade tem aqui uma praia

Not sure how to rate this place as anything other than a museum because the content and material is so shameful.
The museum is kept clean. There is a guide on site who offers free tours. Parking is free as well.
This is a museum that is well done on such a horrific topic. We learn about how slaves were processed, managed, and competed for amongst slave sellers. Overall, a good experience.
One of the place of interest in Luanda. A bit outskirt from the city. The area had stalls selling Angola handcrafted products.
Almost a tiny museum. I mean there is not much here to show you the impact of slavery. A better effort should have been made to have a bigger impact. I like the idea but the execution is rather poor.
A small but very well laid out museum. Do bring a guide if you do not speak Portuguese. There are no translations to any other language on most tags to artefacts.
Perfect for tourism. The history was very well displayed. Colorful. Very well detailed. I would suggest to imclude English and Portuguese tour guides. Overall: It was a great experience. Spectacular place! Memorable! Empowering !
The tour guide was helpful. He tried to make us understand what he was say saying. It was a good tour

Is an small place with part of nature from Angola. Is interesting visit the site. If you come with a wheelchair you must be helping for downstairs and upstairs inside the local you don't need the help. There is not air conditioning.
Interesting history of Angolan wildlife. I had the whole museum to myself when I visited lol
Sadly the museum is closed from January 2025 until now,i and a group of girls visited the 28th July 2025 and the lady said they have been closed and that it is not open, just wanted to write this for anyone who has planned to come here...to prevent dissapointment
I wanted to visit today, but it's closed even though it says it's open on the internet. The outside is completely neglected and it looks sad. I asked a lady behind the gate when it will open again and she simply emphasised that it will be closed for a long time. I hope it will be fixed and opened again soon.
Antiquated taxidermy extravaganza. Has to be seen to be believed. Absolutely loved it
Good but no one to show and explain things about the museum to us
Pay 100 AKz/ person. First floor not really amazing but the 2nd floor was amazing. It's diorama museum.
I've been there with my 5 year old son, and we really enjoyed the show. There is a part dedicated to aquatic life and another one for land animals living in Angola. Each animal has a corresponding card with its natural specificities of diet and way of living. The collection of animals is quite, from squeletons to complete animals. There is also a collection of rocks and a special part dedicated to the Palanca Negra. Just go if you are not afraid of taxidermia...

Very good museum. I really like the architecture of this museum. From the outside it looks like a shiny monument, but once you walk next to it there are steps leading down into the museum. The museum was clean and very well organized. Most of the exhibits are very informative. There’s a very cool exhibit that allows you to pick up a gold bar, but you have to insert your hands into the two security holes. There were 3 or 4 school bus trips when I visited the museum and the museum staff appeared to have the groups well organized.
Interesting to see the history of the currency. Also the bar of gold and the foreign currency was nice.
I loved to go back in time and learn about Angolan's previous money currency. Simple access. Respectful staff. I also noticed that a lot of schools/teachers take their pupils to the museum.
Great museum… but very small permanent exhibition.
Very nice exhibition. Mega story about Angolan money.
Relatively small, but very modern and nice museum.
Very nice view near the bay ,, Welcome "Miami of Africa"
This space is very nice for a meeting, forum, or other activity that has someone to present.

Solemn... nice ambience, small but beautiful.
Historical landmark in Luanda. Church is colonial, simple but very pretty. Was open all day when I visited. Not a long stop but definitely enjoyable.
The one of most old church in country... Old Sé Catedral /The Vetusta Church Sé
Insane church built over 400years ago. Plays an important role in the lives of locals and street children, but is also a major tourist point given it’s long history.
Lovely place. With access to wheelchair. For parking need yo be 1 block before. Central location
Interesting place, beautiful architecture. I advise you to definitely visit

Very good amusement park! can enjoy with family and friends, very cooperative staff, feel comfortable
This is an amazing amusement park. It's unique in Luanda with such dimensions and features. Really nice atmosphere, and an inviting environment. I loved the greenery of the place. Friendly staff committed to safety. Security is guaranteed, and there's available paid parking (100 Kzs per hour). Ulengo is now being brought back to life after a few years of mismanagement. The prices are now more affordable. It's suitable for the whole family, including small children.
This is a good place that could have really be great with some creativity and unselfishness. The centre management should bring some popular events to the centre to atract people, the centre should not also not be selfish in occupying all the space in the centre for themselves, they should rather rent it out to well known supermarkets and restaurants etc
The place was fine, but felt really old and mantained, but overall the place was good and fun for the family.
Great however it looks so disserted and perhaps they are not doing a lot of advertising these days.
Good parking space

Great place to pray and worship the Lord. For the Christian believers, this is a major place of community and shared experiences. The church is a historical monument, and good reference point when trying to get around the city!
It was once one of the most visited churches in our square. I gave 3 stars because I have seen the degrading state that is subjected to.
The modernist architecture is a true pearl of Luanda from the thin vertical lines to the interior stone and stained glass finish. It is as well maintained as it could be though as funding isn't what it used to be. Still a must see.
Beautiful catholic church! Some colors and very harmful family.
Beautiful place of worship Welcoming Catholic Church
Beatiful, clean, in order, welcome place.

The shopping centre was adequate with good facilties and access to cash machines. By international standards its not as aesthetically pleasing as others around the world, however it appears to be a hit with the locals. No complaints here!!!
Few stores, few attractive, with high prices, this is the reason why don't get to many people 😕
Good service and friendly staff; I do like the place.
It's a nice place to relax and shopping.
Good place to be and is modern only needs awareness
Good place. Good restaurants and a retail store.
Great place for shopping and eating
