I stayed at the chalets nearby. So incredible to sit with a bottle of wine and watch the animals slowly approach the watering hole. The floodlight was great for viewing. Such amazing sunsets too. I was lucky enough to see at least seven different rhinos, an elephant, and other smaller creatures. What a beautiful area! If you stay at this lodge, definitely select a chalet and stop at the watering hole!
Really great stay at Okaukuejo in Etosha. The camp is well run and our room was clean and well maintained. The food is on the pricey side if you are paying with Rands or NAD and there are very limited options particularly for us plant based folk. Definitely worth a visit.
Comfortable accommodation if a little tired. Restaurant OK but uninspiring with not much choice. All made up for by the amazing waterhole - worth staying just for this. Game drive not worth the money - disappointing and better just to drive yourself.
I always Love to stay at Okaukuejo. It has my favorite Waterhole, air-conditioned rooms and the swimming pool is amazing, We always Braai ourselves, this time however was the first time we decided to eat at the restaurant and I have to say I was so disappointed, incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful waitresses, food is not worth the price. Will definitely never eat at the restaurant again.
Big state run camp. We were told that service here is worse compared to private camps but our experience has been really pleasant. People were nice. Breakfast tasty. The water hole watching spot amazing. Ideally centrally located to explore the park.
Very nice camp offering different types of accomodation. The water hole for animals provide Unique opportunity to observ wild life.
What a great visit with good restaurant service and clean accommodations - du h a great pleasure either te ration personnel ready to assist on every level!
Great experience. Prefer 4WD car driving .
