Campground
Halali Camp is a great option for camping in Etosha National Park, offering an impressive wildlife viewing platform over the Moringa waterhole. It's recommended to book in advance as the campsites fill up quickly, especially during school holidays. While the campsite and facilities may not be extraordinary and the price relatively high, the experience of watching animals at the nearby water hole makes it all worth it.
Clean campsite with a lovely waterhole. The night tour from Halali was the highlight of our whole trip, our guide Dennis was fantastic and we saw a side of the park you don’t get to see during the self-drive safari.

Was here on the campsite. Bad places and the toilets and showers not good. Hot water not available. We had also dinner in the restaurant. Drinks you have to get yourself and the buffet was very poor and tasteless. The restaurant is open till 21.00 and we came at 20.30. Most of the food was gone and they said there was no extra food coming. On the question what to eat then they just said wait for the breakfast tomorrow morning. Payment had to be done in front and no pay back. Place very dated. Old. It's a NWR hotel which means it belong to the state Namibië. Please do something to this places, because all look bad.
Arnoldus D — Google review
The best thing about Halali Camp was the great location within Etosha National Park as well as the waterhole. And this is where the stars are coming from. The campground is alright, everything is functioning, but everything is very outdated. If you are camping and bringing all your gear, it‘s fine though… …and we did prefer the campsite a little over Okaukuejo. At Halali we could choose our preferred site number ourselves and were lucky enough to still catch a spot with a bit of shade. The waterhole is really nice and only 5 walking minutes from the camping area. We did have some great animal encounters there. 🦏 (🤫 bring a pillow to sit on for long hours of observing - thank me later. 😌)
Isabel — Google review
A large campsite inside the etosha national park. There are no defined spaces, it is just a big space for all the vehicles with shared bathrooms. A nearby waterhole adds a nice touch, offering a chance to spot wildlife at night if you’re lucky. Overall, it’s a convenient place for a night’s stay inside the park, but not particularly memorable — and noticeably busier than many other campsites in Namibia.
Mafalda R — Google review
This place is deteriorating, such a shame. It s the 4th time in stayed here in the last 10 years but they neglect the place completely. The rooms are clean and still okay although not for what you pay for it. You pay for the location. The bed sheets are clean but no longer white The pool is green and smells of algea. It s so green you can t even see your legs when you are in the pool!! The restaurant is falling apart, could really do with at least some new chairs. Buffet has very limited choice despite it being quite busy. Half of the benches at the water hole are broken. As said, you pay for the location but shame to nwr for not keeping up this, what used to be, such a nice resort. Also no possibility to get any fuel in the park. That would be nice to know before you enter!!!
Kitty V — Google review
Stayed at the camping in June ‘25. The campsite hasn’t seen any renovation in a LONG time. Every camping spot has a table and seats, but many of them are broken off and in a terrible state. The sanitary facities are also very old and only partially working. Everywhere you step, something (essential) is broken. The swimming pool is large and would have been nice, if it wasn’t full of thousands of larvae, covering the walls of it (I am usually not too picky, but they’ve let that one go really far). Our experience was crowned by their game drive: the driver was friendly but aloof and didn’t seem to be really looking that hard. We did see a few animals, as they were luckily standing on the main road, and for that we sat in freezing cold for 3 hours (the cold is of course no fault of Halali - but be aware of that if considering a night drive). They do say ‘no guarantees of viewings’ many times before you go... The only positive was that the food was decent (though overpriced for what it was) and the staff were reasonably friendly.
S. W — Google review
Ideally located in the heart of Etosha National Park, with a waterhole that attracts many rhinos at night — a truly exceptional sight. Apart from that, the campsite is dirty and rather unpleasant. Be careful not to arrive late in the evening, as you may be fined.
Élise G — Google review
Last stayed here 12 years ago and it doesn’t look like much maintenance has been done since. The beaches around the watering hole were broken, the pool area looked shabby and the restaurant was underwhelming compared to others for a similar price.

4Onkoshi Resort

Lodge
Onkoshi Resort is a luxury camp located on the edge of the Etosha Pan, offering an exclusive and environmentally conscious experience. The property consists of 15 double chalets designed to minimize impact on the environment, all with stunning views of the pan. The camp runs on solar power and provides warm chalets with decks for guests to enjoy salt pan views. It's situated 28km north of Namutoni, providing wonderful sunrises, sunsets, and star-gazing opportunities.
We stayed in Onkoshi at the end of rain season in April. Everything was green and the we had water in the Etosha pan, which is not very often. The rooms were nice, nothing to complain. Especially the friendly staff I want to point out. They made everything to our wishes and always with a smile. If you want to see large herds of zebras, it’s the wrong place. But we had a lion with 3 cubs cloth to the camp and giraffes visiting while we were at the pool.
Daniel S — Google review
Even though the accommodation is a little out of the way, we felt very comfortable here. There are only 15 small houses and the resort is correspondingly quiet. The rooms have a fantastic view of the Etosha Pan and when we were here the elephants came right up to our balcony. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. (The cleanliness was not good by our European standards, but we're not in Europe here, so no rating in this respect. The location and the elephants completely made up for it 😉).
Nicola B — Google review
It was very beautiful and peaceful. I would love to go back and experience it during the raining season. So refreshing really!
Pandu S — Google review
Onkoshi camp was one of my favourite Camps during my holiday in Namibia. There was a great service and the views are breathtaking. We had the luck to see an elephent walking next to our room in the middle of the night. If i’m going back to Namibia I would stay here again to enyoy the luxury and the remoteness from namibia, becouse that’s making it the ultimite Namibia experience. The road to Onkoshi is really bad Bud in Namibia we had worse roads but when you arrive, the sunset with a drink is completely worth it.
Joris V — Google review
Absolutely exquisite location. One of the most beautiful places on earth. The way the colour changes with the light is phenomenal. Downsides: it‘a very hot and the rooms only have fans, no aircon. In saying that, the rooms are well appointed with a shower & bath (first NWR bath I’ve seen and much needed). Plug points and lovely balcony views. Lovely main lodge with ice cold pool (freezing!). Food was good (remember your remote location), staff willing and professional. Road in is like all Etosha roads - not good, but only 40kms from Namatoni so manageable. If you are in a 4x4, totally worth the mission.
Meg S — Google review
Spent two nights over the weekend here. The pan was filled, which was amazing to see with all the greens but it got really cold because it rained all night and all morning 🥶 the food was great but the menu was very limited. You could only choose between two meals. And a generator was used so lights (and hot water) went off from 10pm to 5am and again from 11am to 5pm. The pool was empty so one couldn’t swim. Overall, it’s a beautiful place
Maria G — Google review
The place is great. The staff is friendly and customer oriented. The views are spectacular, very different, but spectacular. We got there after driving from Dolomite Camp. It was en route that we came across our real hosts; the Namibian Wildlife Resort company. This appears to be a State Owned Enterprise, like ESKOM in South Africa. As a result, Etosha is managed like a cash cow, with the bare minimum of investment. The roads are so bad that you want to give up the will to live. The signage is about the speed limits, and hardly any distance markers. You can't do the speed limit anyway; without damaging your suspension and tyres. Camp management is barely seen. There was no wifi. There were no fridges (37 degrees outside). There were no kettles. The food is tasty, although the portions are small - 2 calamari rings as a starter? When a corporate manager was asked about the situation our conversation was cut short by a call from his supervisor. The conversation was littered with terms like "oubaas" and lots of laughter. Clearly the problems of the camp were insignificant. But thank god, nature and animals saved the day. See photos. Go there for no more than 2 nights and enjoy the view.
Mark V — Google review
We LOVED our stay at Onkoshi. A little pricey but considering it’s a resort in the National Park it makes sense. The staff was really friendly, the food was good, the views are amazing, and we even got a super close visit from an elephant. Would definitely come back.

Lake
Etosha Pan is a significant landmark known for its crusty salt residue that attracts a variety of wildlife, including flamingos and elephants. Explored by European travelers in the 19th century, it spans from the park's center to its eastern boundary and offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities near its fringes.
Very nice, scenic beauty 😍 👌
Willbard D — Google review
A dominating landscape at Etosha NP is the Etosha Pan, a vast salt pan that extends for over 120 kilometres from east to west. You will encounter the pan from time to time during game drives where you will see endless baked white clay of an ancient lake extending endlessly into the distance. The Etosha Pan is is a unique and dramatic scene, one that you will want to stop and enjoy for a few minutes if you have any interest at all in geography, geology and/or landscapes. There a handful of driving routes within the NP that come close to the Pan so you can stop your vehicle and have a look. Spend a few minutes scanning the horizon of the Etosha Pan and you might start to notice small dots. If you have powerful binoculars, have a look. These are likely ostriches or oryx... perhaps a zebra walking the pan! You just wonder why they are so far into the pan and where they are going? Its all part of the intrigue of this particular section of the Etosha National Park.

6Halali

Mentioned on

Halali offers a variety of accommodations, with rooms and chalets priced differently depending on the season. The waterhole at Halali features a great amphitheater where visitors can relax with a drink and enjoy stunning sunset views. However, wildlife sightings are usually fewer compared to Okaukuejo, so it's recommended to bring some extra drinks and be patient while enjoying the surroundings.

7Okaukuejo Camping Area

Campground
Okaukuejo Camping Area is a popular choice for visitors entering Etosha National Park due to its convenient location near the airport. The campsite offers various amenities such as kitchen areas, electrical outlets, and moderately clean toilets and showers. Despite being busy, it provides a fenced-off area with access to electricity and water faucets. Campsite #7 is recommended for its proximity to the path animals take to reach the watering hole.
We stayed at Okaukuejo Camping Area during our self-drive safari and had a fantastic experience. We were lucky to spot a rhino right near the waterhole and enjoyed a breathtaking sunset. The campsite has everything you need, including a nice pool, great for relaxing if you’re staying more than one night and exploring at your own pace. A solid choice for independent travelers who want to be close to the wildlife!
Dagmarie T — Google review
Let’s start with. The watering hole was very active and we saw ALOT of activity there. Elephants. Rhinos and lions included. We paid a considerable amount of money for a “waterside” chalet. Could not see the watering hole so sat on the benches same as everyone else. The “chalet” is a prison cell with no windows to the outside world. Comfy enough bed and warm shower. But not been updated it would seem since the 90’s. Looking very tired and basic. It’s a cramped room. For the price we expected much more. The money is going somewhere. But certainly not being re-invested into the guest experience. All in all. It’s great to stay within the park for keen game watches. But don’t hold your breath for nice accommodation. And certainly not worth the extra money for a waterside chalet.
John E — Google review
Needs some work. Stayed in the rooms but this is as close to camping out as you get. Bees and other insects invaded the room and it was difficult to figure out where they came in. Screens on windows had huge holes and the windows were latches using ties. The front screen door wouldn’t stay closed either. Absolutely no internet unless in the lodge. The emergency thing in my room was nonexistent. The food prepared was 90% out of cans and was not good. The watering hole was nice but while there only saw a few animals. Ensuring you have the right game drive guide is critical.
WStew — Google review
What a disappointment. We flew for hours and were “ welcomed “ with long faces and bad attitudes. The rooms were not maintained.. a badly leaking aircon kept us awake all night. Hand dryer in ladies toilet completely smashed and weeds coming up everywhere destroying paving etc….. etc….Not to mention NON existent WIFI! This all comes with a hefty price tag.
CHANTAL M — Google review
Only part of Africa you fell like uk, very polite !! We came to campus for camping side and tent because they had lots of room empty, they told us the campsite is full but it were lots of empty one at night, we paid 5 times more for rooms. It had nice people working in here as well Nice place to take photos
Negar K — Google review
Easily the worst campsite we stayed at in Namibia, shocking. Also the most expensive we stayed at. Needs some maintenance and it would not take much effort to vastly improve the place. Don't like to mention the staff as you never know what conditions they are working under but service was poor, and that is being polite. Water hole was good with lots of zebra.
Giles W — Google review
Like in just about every NWR accommodation in Namibia, honestly, you can’t recommend them. The campsites are shocking, showers and toilets are hardly maintained (broken doors you can’t lock, showers out of order, basins flooded and blocked, and everything very dirty). If you book a lodge or a room, you’ll at least get a bit more comfort, but even there, maintenance stopped more than 30 years ago, likely. Everything is run-down and old. The staff are unfriendly and not helpful at all. Tourists and guests seem to mean nothing to them. They’re lazy, and if you ask for something, like an upgrade to a better room that was clearly still available, they won’t lift a finger. The food is so-so, but for the price it’s way too little. At breakfast there’s not enough crockery, and things like jam you have to check carefully (fly eggs). The only good thing about Okaukuejo Camp Resort is the waterhole. And it’s only because of this waterhole that they manage to attract tourists. It’s actually a disgrace. Please don’t support this, don’t book their accommodation. Rather support the local private resorts, the ones not run by NWR and not state-owned.

8King Nehale Gate Etosha National Park

Park
King Nehale Gate serves as one of the four main entrances to the stunning Etosha National Park, located on its northern boundary. This gateway offers a unique access point for travelers eager to explore the park's diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. From this entrance, visitors can often spot zebras leisurely grazing nearby, creating a picturesque scene that embodies the tranquility of nature. For those planning a self-drive adventure in Namibia, obtaining a map highlighting all the waterholes is highly recommended to enhance your experience.
This place is the entrance to the Etoshi National Park. Here, you cannot make a payment, but you get just a paper to make yourself allowed for the entry. And you need to pay the amount at the Namutoni entrance, where you need to drive 44 kilometers with the bumpy road, which is big fun. You do not need necessarily 4x4, but 4x4 is highly recommendable.
Jun A — Google review
This gate is now very beautiful. So attractive and very good background when taking pictures. If I stay near I could be taking pictures from here..
Phillip G — Google review
Like this gate a lot, fast and friendly. Just around 10km down the road there is a Lions pride (-18.5516688, 16.8043724). If you are there around 8am you have a good chance of seeing some lions. Forget going during the day, go early or late afternoon.
Lara H — Google review
My favourite Etosha gate. Never crowded and staff is always friendly.
Georgia C — Google review
Staff at this gate are very helpful and kind. This gate is ideal for use by people coming from the side of Omuthiya or those intending to enter the park from Etosha King Nehale Lodge. However, you cannot pay park entrance fees at this gate, you have to drive on gravel to Namutoni which is 44 km away. This is only a challenge if you are planning on going to Onkoshi or other nearby lodges. But if you are going to Halali and other lodge at the other sides of the park you are sorted coz you have to drive all the way from Namutoni to get to those lodges. One thing that I learned is that you are not allowed to enter the National park with any personal riffle, you have to surrender it to the police station and pick up on your out. So if you are planning on driving through the park using different gates you may consider leaving your riffle home coz it means then that you cannot enter from one gate and exit at the other coz you will need to pick up your riffle. But if you don't mind leaving it there for a prolonged period you can do that.

Park
Mokuti Etosha is a modern lodge located near the entrance of Etosha National Park, offering chic rooms, delicious dining options, and friendly staff. The lodge features lovely gardens and a large pool for relaxation. It serves as a great starting point for exploring the abundant wildlife around the park's waterholes. Guests can enjoy guided safaris with knowledgeable guides or opt for self-drive safaris into the park. The lodge also offers spa services for added relaxation after adventurous game drives.
Great hotel located just outside of the Etosha gate. The grounds are just beautiful and the food was generally quite good. Very friendly service. Our only complaint was that although the rooms were nice they were very dark even with all of the lights on. But we were happy to spend a few days there and just relax by the pool.
Madeline M — Google review
The new lobby, restaurant, pool are all great - super modern clean and stylish. The room lagged behind a bit in terms of design but functioned well enough. There are ongoing renovations so I'm sure these things are being addressed already.
Lawrence R — Google review
We had a wonderful stay at Mokuti Etosha Lodge. There was a small misunderstanding at the beginning, but the staff handled it perfectly and with great professionalism. We truly appreciated how quickly everything was resolved. We highly recommend this hotel — especially the SkyBoomer restaurant, which offers the most stunning view of the sunset. The food, atmosphere, and service made it an unforgettable experience. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Etosha!
Konstantin S — Google review
We had a smaller room because we stayed only for one night. The room had no window to open for fresh air, only the front door with a mosquito screen so we opened that at night. We thought it was a little weird at first but others did it too. Other than that a really nice hotel with relaxing atmosphere.
Lisa — Google review
Very exceptional and outstanding lodge. It has its price, but you will get outstanding service, very good food (buffet) for breakfast and dinner with plenty of options, spacious and comfortable rooms and a beautiful pool and garden area. Due to its location right in front of the gate to the Etosha national park, it is ideal for guided or self driving safaris.
Claude H — Google review
I had high expectations of Mokuti based on reviews and website, and I wasn’t disappointed, wonderful resort style hotel overall. The location was perfect, less then 1 minute outside Etosh Von Lindequist gate, great to come in and out for self drives whenever it suits you. The (standard) rooms were a great size, although the bathroom was an odd design with lack of privacy if sharing with others, otherwise everything you need. Also a fully stocked complementary re-stocked mini bar fridge. Food was delicious with massive buffet services for breakfasts and dinners, with huge selection of different types of dishes. Lunch and snacks are offered by Al a cart menu with small selection of dishes yet after the big breakfast and big dinner you won’t mind. Staff are friendly, professional and always happy to help and have a chat, even the staff on the front gate always made me laugh with our daily chats. Facilities and grounds are impeccable; very modern and spacious, with different areas depending on your needs; quiet space in the main reception building, various lounge and sitting areas beside the different pools, seats outside your room and even a reptile park that “Reptile Man” (sorry forgot his name) was very welcoming and passionate to guide you around. Cannot recommend Mokuti enough, if here try to spend an afternoon at the resort to enjoy the facilties. I also read about their sustainability practices after staying there and was impressed
Peta B — Google review
The best lodge we stayed in during our whole trip through Namibia!! The rooms are very beautiful and clean. There is a tennis court, a pool, a reptile show, which are all free. Food was very very good, breakfast as well as dinner. Huge buffet, with daily changing offers. Big reccomandation!
Daniel M — Google review
Very nice hotel with amazing food, engaged staff and great activities. We can recommend the reptile show in the in-house reptile park with a person who clearly loves the animals and shares many interesting facts about them. The massages and game drives as well as the pool area and rooms are also amazing. Everything was clean and well taken care of. A highlight are the antelopes that reverently had a baby strolling around the lawn. We will be back :)

10Moringa Waterhole Viewpoint

National park
Moringa Waterhole Viewpoint is a prime spot for observing wildlife in their natural habitat. Visitors recommend arriving around 5-10pm to witness the bustling activity, including elephants, rhinos engaging in territorial disputes, lions coming to drink, giraffes, antelope, and even rare sightings of small wild cats hunting birds. The viewpoint is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Halali resort and offers benches for comfortable seating.
Excellent spot for viewing zebras while eating lunch!
L S — Google review
This is a surprisingly challenging viewpoint for anyone with mild walking challenges (eg knee flexibility issues) to access. Interestingly, Halali camp has many wheelchair accessible cabins to stay in but the pathway to this viewpoint is rocky uneven terrain, and some distance from the camp (over 800m one way walk from our cabin to the waterhole and we were not the furthest accommodation). There are a combination of wooden bench seats and rocks to sit on. Several of the bench seats are broken, and people sit on rocks directly in front of the benches so it's not always a good view. Being elevated above the waterhole gives a different perspective to appreciate the animals and you can see them coming through the thick bush toward the waterhole. Overall though, it is not as well set up as the Okaukuejo Waterhole viewing area so if you enjoy sitting by the waterhole and watching animals in the evening, I would choose that waterhole over this one.
Travis C — Google review
A terrific waterhole lookout..Saw Rhinos and hyenas on our very first camp night..
Mary M — Google review
Fantastic game viewing from this water hole. Would suggest to take your sundowners & dinner & sit from 5-10pm cause it all happens then. We had elephant, lots of rhinos - Some fights even, lions coming to drink, giraffe’s & all the usual antelope. We caught a glimpse of a rare small wild cat catching a bird
Katy M — Google review
This is a perfect place to watch animals. I came around 8 pm and there were more than 20 elephants come and go, 5 rhinos, hyenas and many more. Located about 10 minutes walking from Halali resort. There are benches to sit comfortably on

Nestled within the stunning Etosha National Park, Okaukuejo Waterhole Chalet offers an unforgettable experience for wildlife lovers. This iconic waterhole is not only a prime spot for observing Africa's magnificent animals but also features floodlit views that attract black rhinos almost nightly. Staying at the chalet allows guests to immerse themselves in nature without the hassle of driving back and forth from nearby accommodations, especially during sunrise and sunset when wildlife activity peaks.
Best place to be in Okaukuejo, especially during sunset as huge numbers of wildlife come together for a drink at the waterhole 🌇

Food was less good, staff very nice, rooms fine. (Original) Een chalet vlak voor een fantastische waterhole, helemaal geweldig! (Translated by Google) Poor state of conservation. The cold water had to kill about 50 worms and insects. Poorly isolated. Towels and sheets yellowed and in poor condition. No animal approached the pond either at night or in the morning, probably because it had rained and the animals did not need water. Next time we will sleep in a lodge outside the park. The right food, little light. (Original) Mal estado de conservación. El agua fria i tubimos que matar unos 50 gusanos i insectos. Mal aislado. Toallas i sábanas amarillentas i en mal estado. Ningun animal se acercó a la charca ni por la noche ni por la mañana, seguramente porque havia llovido i los animales no tenian necesidad de agua. La próxima vez dormiremos en un lodge fuera del parque. La comida correcta, poca luz.

(Translated by Google) Check-in is from 12:00 to sunset (approximately 6:30 p.m.) and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. We stayed in “Premier Waterhole Chalet” because supposedly when we booked there were no “Waterhole Chalets” left. The only premium thing about the chalet is the location with respect to the “water-hole”, which is the only thing that makes it worth staying here. When we arrived, there was not a drop of water on the upper floor (no cistern, no sink, no shower). We had to go several times to claim that we wanted to shower and… coincidentally… there was an empty “waterhole chalet” and they left us the keys to shower there until they fixed it. They also left us some bottles of water that we used to brush our teeth and we became poisoned... The next day in the morning we returned to the reception and the same woman as the day before saying that she didn't know what we were talking about. After much discussion, he decides to send a maintenance man who arrives, turns on the tap and says there is no problem. Later he confesses that he turned on the water... that same day at night, zero water in the entire house, without any explanation... The next day in the morning there is no water either but the next morning there is. They turn the water on and off as they want and constantly make excuses for you. It's exhausting. They come daily “to clean”, although the only thing we noticed is that they make the bed, since there was a lot of bird droppings that settled on the roof everywhere and they directly ignored it. There are many large spiders throughout the house but from what we investigated they are not poisonous. Breakfast opens half an hour before the doors and is acceptable: there is “an egg station” where you can order everything from fried eggs to French omelette with mushrooms, cheese…, bacon, sausages, tomato, cheese, cereals, fruit salad , yogurt, coffee, tea, artificial juice, slices of sandwich bread... Everyone can access the pond, so I would not recommend paying for the premium chalet but I would stay one night to go to the pond. We stayed 3 nights and on 3 nights we saw elephants, giraffes, rhinos (they are the last to arrive but they always arrive and at dawn they bathe when they are alone), jackals and gazelles. This place is saved by the pond it has….

The Etosha Pan Lookout is a must-visit attraction in the Etosha National Park, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the vast salt pan area. It is a popular spot for observing flocks of flamingos and capturing impressive photographs.
Nice lookout to visit but around you can not find any animals. It is the impressive 5,000-kilometre-long salt flat that occupies a large area of the eastern part of the park, which can even be seen from space.

Etosha Pan panorama views Great place to have an immersive experience of the great Etosha pan. 360* views of the salt flat with nothing to disturb you. No facilities, toilets or any thing else. Just a lookout. Perfect to get that Etosha pan foto of salt flats. Road is in a horrible condition. 3-4km drive feom main road took us 15 minutes. Be cautious and take it slow. One of the worst roads in Etosha.

“It felt as if I had stepped onto the surface of the moon.” Everywhere I looked, the horizon stretched on endlessly, over a vast land of white sand where nothing seemed to exist. If asked what was there, I could only reply, “Nothing.” Yet that very “nothingness” is what made the place so special. I truly felt it was worth the journey. Just a small warning: the road leading there is rough and bumpy, so drive with care.

Okaukuejo Etosha is a wildlife sanctuary located inside the park, offering basic but somewhat pricey accommodation. The highlight of this spot is the illuminated watering hole where visitors can watch a variety of animals such as elephants, giraffes, rhinos, antelopes, and jackals come to drink. It's an ideal place for wildlife enthusiasts to relax and observe the colorful hustle and bustle of nature. The well-lit watering hole also provides great opportunities for night photography.
I stayed at the chalets nearby. So incredible to sit with a bottle of wine and watch the animals slowly approach the watering hole. The floodlight was great for viewing. Such amazing sunsets too. I was lucky enough to see at least seven different rhinos, an elephant, and other smaller creatures. What a beautiful area! If you stay at this lodge, definitely select a chalet and stop at the watering hole!

Really great stay at Okaukuejo in Etosha. The camp is well run and our room was clean and well maintained. The food is on the pricey side if you are paying with Rands or NAD and there are very limited options particularly for us plant based folk. Definitely worth a visit.
