Island in the British Virgin Islands featuring white-sand beaches, coral reefs & endangered iguanas.

Lovely island, went over by boat and stayed the night. The mooring was full, we got the last ball. The lobster at The Lobster Trap was very good and the beaches beautiful. The Anegada Beach Club beach was a beautiful deep beach. The shade shacks in the beach were a nice touch as was the beach bar and lounge. They weren’t open as it was low season. The the bar and and pool, back from the beach were fitting with the low key nature of the island and I enjoyed the fish tacos I had for lunch. Unfortunately some properties still haven’t recovered from the hurricanes
It was a very beautiful island but we only found one open bar and it was pretty deserted. Not sure if it was the time of year we went (late February) or what but we barely saw any people. We did find a deserted beach to watch the sunset on. If you like relaxing on a deserted beach, this might be for you.
We visited Anegada by sailboat. It’s a long sail, but we’ll worth the trip. We stayed for two days and you’ll need two full days to take your time and visit all the hidden treasures this island has. Very different from all the other islands in the British Virgin Islands. Rent a jeep, scooter or Moke to run around the island. Make sure you visit Tipsy by Ann out at Cow Wreck Beach for some of the best appetizers, food and drinks in BVI.
Wow. I have never been to such a beautiful place in all my life. Yes it is remote but that makes it so wonderful. There isn’t much development on the island.
Anegada my dream! Potter‘s by the Sea is a must. Surf and Turf. Cow Wreck Beach and Loblolly beach you will enjoy very very much.
Great small island in the BVIs very friendly people low key atmosphere beautiful scenery
Beautiful place to visit, loved walking (and crawling) through the rocks
Amazing island! Great place to sail to and stay overnight! Snorkeling/swimming is on the North side at any one of the beach bars. We loved the Big Bamboo & Anaconda Beach Club. We rented a car and drove across, but taxis are available too. For dinner, we had the lobster on the South side of the island. Make sure you check in a few hours early to reserve your table/lobster!

Great experience! Dolphins are well looked after. We did the royal package and booked online. Cheaper than thomson excursion. Only $5US Dollars in a taxi from the port.
Our Dolphin Discovery experience was the highlight of our cruise!!! We arrived early and one of the trainers took us on a tour of the facility. We lucked out and were the only 2 in our group, so we wound up getting to spend extra time with the dolphins. We started off with the "baby" dolphin, helping to "train" him. Then we moved over to the alpha male for the real fun. Hands down a once in a lifetime experience. Well worth every penny spent. The dolphins were AWESOME!!! The staff was courteous and knowledgeable.
An exceptionall experience! The best shore excursions on this cruise. Our trainer was so knowledgeable and patient. A memory for a lifetime! Great staff and, of course, the dolphins were awesome! Such beautiful creatures!
We were there in March 2016. It is a well run setup. If you have observer tickets (about 28 bucks), take your camcorder/camera with you. There is no restrictions on taking pictures or videos. Their professional photographs are pretty good too (about 99 bucks for the first set. cheaper per person if you have multiple people doing the Dolphin swim). Our kids loved it. The shuttle ride is about 10 mins from the dock.
I was instantly turned off when entering Dolphin Descovery. I felt guilty for even being there. Their habitats were small and dirty. The water was so green you couldn't see anything. There didn't seem to be any organization and they were 30 minutes late getting us into the water. To top it off 2 of my 4 boys were stung by jelly fish multiple times. My 7 year old and 17 month old were crying and their legs were covered in welts. Especially my 7 year old. I asked what would cause this to happen and they played dumb saying it was probably just the salt water and that they had a spray upstairs we could apply. When applying it I realized the spray was vinegar. When we shared our experience with our cab driver he told us it was jelly fish. He stated that they are horrible this time of year. It was a horrible experience and I ashamed to have given this facility my financial support. DO NOT make the same mistake we did. Stay clear of that place!!!
It was very fun, the trainer was great. The dolphins were very well trained and it was wonderful. They dolphins had plenty of room to stay in and they were treated well. I would recommend this to anyone.
Alberto (trainer/handler), Coco, & Desiree (dolphins) were phenomenal. Blew us out of the water (both figuratively and literally). The four of us got the premier package, nice to have a full lunch afterwords (anything on the menu). Beautiful setting. You knew they treated their wildlife with the utmost respect. Kudos.
DON'T MAKE A RESERVATION - THEY ARE NOT HONEST PEOPLE - 10% penalty if you cancel and they don't give you your refunds! I made a reservation for my family to do the Dolphin Adventure. I was on a Carnival Cruise docking St. Thomas and was trying to figure out what ferry services we can take from St. Thomas to Tortola. I emailed them for some guidance and NO REPLY. So, I didn't want to risk it and decided to cancel. They do have a cancellation policy where they penalize you 10% if you cancel. I was willing to accept the penalty BUT they didn't process my refund (even now - one month later). They gave me the run-around saying it will be on my paypal account instead of back on my credit card because it's "faster". They told me that the representative that I was dealing with has left the company. They told me to call back an hour later when their supervisors are "in". I have wasted so much time with over 10 emails and 3 phone calls so far and it hasn't ended yet.

I love this shop every time I am in Tortola we load up On their spices teas and other products. You definitely won’t regret shopping here. Can’t wait For our next trip to stop in. Excellent customer service !!!!
While there are some spices in this shop, they are almost all something you could order on the internet. There’s not a lot of variety either- maybe 10-15 different spices and most made in India not the Virgin Islands. We were disappointed, and based on other reviews, expected something different. If you’re in the Virgin Islands, there is a fabulous spice shop on St John, would recommend visiting there instead if you’re looking for local spices.
Easy walk from cruise port. I went for the spices and they didn't disappoint. Great selection of spices, jams, and sauces. Great service.
Over 40 years in Tortola. Spices that will remind you of the Caribbean on a cold January night and always the most interesting and colorful collection of local artists. This is a spot that I always l look forward to revisiting.
Replaced Sunny Catibbee. Small sampling of their products. Wonderful Indian and Caribbean spices.
A beautiful place right in the main area where you can shop when getting off a cruise-ship. It is worth visiting whether you are stopping in BVI on a cruise or staying in BVI. I purchased some delicious jelly made right in BVI...lemongrass!
Loved this company! Great people, great products, great Caribe art. Loved, in the past tense, because I'm not sure if they'll be back in 2018-2019 after the devistation of the 2017 hurricane season. So sad. Fingers crossed.
New name is Spice BVI Trading.

A beautiful little oasis. Well worth a visit to slip into "island time". Don't forget to say hello to the tortoises.
Lovely well-maintained garden. So much plants grown here and it is a place that is vibrant of colour. You'll see a few chickens roaming about as well as a lot of lizards! We loved seeing and holding the red legged turtoises.
These gardens were not that far of a walk from the ferry terminal. The grounds were clean and it was pleasant to sit on a bench in the shade by a water fountain. They have a pen of tortoises. It would have been nice to have more identifying signs for the plants. One friendly worker told us about the calabash tree and I found that very interesting. Worth a $3 entry fee. There were restrooms on the grounds.
A delightful small garden and a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Road Town. The gardens are well maintained with good paths. We saw many exotic species endemic to the British Virgin Islands as well as from elsewhere. Well worth a visit and we would definitely like to go back one day.
nice little garden. has some cool plants and a neat overturned tree you can climb on. lots of wildlife wanders around too. saw a mother hen with chicks while i was there! takes about 30 minutes to see
This was a relatively short walk from the cruise port (maybe 20 minutes). Admission was $3 per adult when we went. It was a nice place to walk around and enjoy the beautiful plants. NOTE: The walking directions Google Maps provided at the time I was planning this trip indicated a different route than what you actually have to take. When I looked at the walking route from the port, it indicated I should continue past the police station on Pickenin Road. The entrance is actually on Station Avenue (left turn before you pass the police station). There is a sign at the corner of Pickenin and Station Avenue (see photos) to point you in the right direction.
This is a lovely garden in the center of Road Town. Dozens and dozens of beautiful flowers and trees. Many were identified by signage, but unfortunately most were not. There were plenty of benches and also a number of large shady trellises to get out of the sun for a bit. Chickens and roosters wandered around, but a pleasant surprise was seeing maybe 20 turtles in, and around, a pond of lily pads.
An Incredible wonder to behold, after the hurricane the botanical garden still thrives today with the loss of royal palms, and the curators house. After seeing the destruction I was utterly shocked and I was also amazed that so much still survived the storm. The plants here still thrive and animals still ran everywhere. The garden is truly a wonder to behold, the beautiful trees and wildlife is an amazing spectacle knowing how much destruction was caused. Bless the staff and people working to restore the garden.

Clean bathrooms, a lot of shops plus hidden near the docks are food trucks...delicious food trucks. ADA wheelchair accessible. Chickens have the right of way so follow a chicken. Walkable from beaches and town square.
First time visiting. Nice and quiet. No crowds as no cruise ships were at port. We loved the pedestrian only walkways, clean bathrooms and the ambiance is very chill. Definitely check out the BVI art and take a photo. We at the coconut lounge, the service was a little slow but the food was amazing 10/10 worth the wait! The jumbo shrimp was divine!! The kids loved the ice cream at ManJack creamery! We def recommend the Oreo and key lime ice cream 🍦
Good spot for boat tourists. Easy to navigate with unique shops and friendly people! Plenty of places to eat and drink as well
Just passing through the usual locals wanting your money but only 30usd for an island tour which is over 2 hours which was very good
Great area for some duty free shopping. Plenty of food options. Can get busy when the cruise ships dock.
Very nice! Very hot. Plenty of high end and tourist shopping.
This locale offers a unique daytime experience, featuring a diverse selection of dining and retail options. It's an ideal setting for social gatherings, whether with friends or family.
This is a great place to shop. Cultural events are also held here. These photos are from the emancipation festival. Where a USVI troop also showed up.

Attended the 9am Sunday Mass. Loved the music and vibrance
It's a great place to go worship. Everyone is welcoming to their parish. I enjoyed my visit and prayer service while I visited Saint William.
St. William Catholic Church is located in the heart of Road Town. Many cruise ship passengers would visit the church when they are in town. The church only has one mid day mass during the week and that is on Tuesdays at 12:15pm. Unfortunately the church is not open during the rest of the week which I think is unfortunate because I like to just go into the church any time of the day and just pray in solitude.
I went to the 530pm Mass on Saturday. It was lovely, enjoyed the Music. They were very welcoming. Thank you!
Easter Sunday 2023
Located in the heart of Road Town. Service available on many days during the week.
Great music at mass with a local flair!

If you want a less crowded option than what the cruise ship offer? Then use this company. Boat is clean, quiet and efficient. Devil’s Bay does not disappoint. Mother Earth did great inventing this place.
This experience was outstanding and a fraction of the cost to go with the cruise ship. They ferry you to the island and bus you to the absolutely beautiful baths. Be sure to leave time for the caves as they are truly amazing. This is a must-do if you’re in Tortola.
Great service. They accommodated our very early cruise ship arrival to get us to Virgin Gorda and then back again. Very friendly & even gave us a bottle of water and a cookie on the return trip. That was unexpected. Thank you from Idaho!
My go to ferry to and from Virgin Gorda. Great ride and great staff. The schedule also works best for me.
