Loved it here. You can rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for 30$. Plenty of spots to grab food and drink while relaxing on the beach/watching the surfers etc. It gets busier as the day goes on, plenty of free street parking if you get there before 10am.
This was a lovely spot! The water was clean and clear, and it was a good balance of sand and rocks. Parking is on the side of the road which is always an adventure, visitors are a mix of locals and surfers; the restaurants and shops give it a social vibe. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was and would go back.
Family friendly. Surf competition. Great snorkel spot. Reef and corral wear water shoes and definitely snorkel you won't be sad you did.
My visit to Playa Los Jobos was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The beach has a laid back, local vibe perfect if you’re looking to avoid heavy tourist crowds and enjoy something more authentic. The water was warm and calm, great for a peaceful swim or just lounging near the shore. There are shaded spots under palm trees and space to set up chairs or a small picnic. I noticed a mix of locals and visitors, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and friendly. You can smell the sea, hear the waves, and just let time slow down a bit. There aren’t too many amenities right on the beach, so it’s smart to bring your own food, drinks, and beach gear. That said, some nearby food trucks and kiosks were serving up delicious Puerto Rican bites especially fried snacks and fresh seafood. It’s not the flashiest beach on the island, but that’s part of the charm. If you’re looking for a calm, no fuss beach day with beautiful views and real island vibes, Playa Los Jobos is worth a visit.
Good surfing beach, not so much for swimming. When the waves are up pretty strong current. There is a decent shallow area for bathing, but keep an eye out for the current. Lots of restaurants and bars and parking is a real challenge. Get there early.
Playa Jobos Beach is beautiful! Great restaurants & Bars, watersports and breathtaking views! It can be busy, but we didn't have any issues with parking or visiting the shops and restaurants. The Pozo de Jacinto blow hole is super cool! This is one of the most beautiful beaches we've visited while in Puerto Rico. Spent a good part of the day swimming, exploring the rock formations, the blow hole and took a nice walk down the beach. stopped into a couple of restaurants in the area. Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely visit again, Highly Recommend it! Just breathtaking!
A good clean beach with plenty of food and drink outlets. Good for surfing, but on that note, watch for rip currents. Stay within the marked area for swimming.
Great area for surfers and to enjoy the beach. There are some places to buy food and drinks which is great if you come here.

Beautiful Peaceful Beach and Park a must do
This is not the coordinates you want to enter the park/to go to la cueva del viento. Instead use this map location: C29M+7X7 Bosque Estatal de Guajataca, Isabela, 00662, Puerto Rico
Takes you up an impossible road to the back end of park that has no entrance, wrong coordinates
Wrong ccordinates!!! Look for bosque estatal de Guajataca (in spanish) for the right ones!!!

Absolutely loved this beach. The access is down a long road and through a narrow passage way. It then opens up to a relatively secluded beach. It was beautiful, the water was great, and we were the only ones on the beach. I highly suggest this beach if you want to avoid crowds. No bathrooms or food though. The parking is in this little half circle thing outside of the neighborhood. There is a sign and parking is free.
This was some of the best snorkeling off a beach I've ever done. On the east side of beach reef outlined the beach and slowed the current. Lots of different depths and holes to check out, fish and squid everywhere. Saw a 3-4 ft barracuda! Bring the spear gun if you can.
The Best of the best!! Nice place for Scuba Dive and Snorkeling. One of my best beach in PR
Love Loved this beach. It is truly for advanced swimmers and experienced surfers! The waves and undercurrents are not for the weak! The shallow shores worked well for me as well as just lounging on the sand. There are places to rent almost anything you may need as a traveler. I did not expect so many tourists. We had a great day visiting this lovely beach! ~TAL
Although this is a beautiful spot to spend a day and/or afternoon it is not kids friendly. The water is too rough and there are too many rocks. There are a handful of areas where one can swim "safely" without being pulled by the rip current. Besides that, this is perfect spot to catch a wonderful sunset or if you like surfing then this is the spot for you.
Beautiful beach to do snorkeling or just to spend the day at the beach. Crystal clear water. Wait for the sunset and you'll fall in love with this beach!
This is a very quiet, peaceful beach. Not many areas for swimming because of the reef, and there's very little shade. If you like nice walks on the beach, this is a good bet. No parking lots, but I've seen people parking just off the road. Be aware that the steps to one of the access paths was damaged by the hurricanes, and you have to climb partway up and down the embankment. There are other access points, I've just never used them.
It was a little scary at first because the currents sweep you quickly, but if you stay off of the reef and follow the lightest blue areas, you should be fine. The snorkeling was amazing. I saw tropical fish of all colors, and even a puffer fish. The coral and reef itself was really cool, too!

Great little bridge to walk by the beach and see a different part of the island. There will be street parking nearby the entrance of the bridge. Be careful while walking the bridge itself since there are some wooden planks that are either missing or broken and can cause someone to step and break through the bridge. Along the route is a cool little fort that’s two stories that gives you a vantage point and at the end of the bridge is an awesome rock formation. Be careful on the rocks as there’s very little flat ground!
The lineal park, in its original construction was a brilliant idea, a place for locals to transverse while enjoying the view. Time has passed, and the lack of maintenance has shown. A section of the walkway has been washed away by the beach, a slowly growing hazard that will cut the path in half. Various wooden bridges, damaged by time and the electric scooters that a local business rents out. Once the planks give way, sections will become inaccessible. Enjoy it while it lasts. It doesn’t have much time left. It
This was a very nice little walking path enjoyed by many. The part that I walked on (the part that is not alongside a road) did not offer much shade so prepare accordingly. I took my hammock with me and there were a few trees I was able to string it up on with shade and great views of the water. I saw many people riding on scooters that I believe they rented from nearby. Recommend for anyone looking to have a leisurely stroll.
A big disappointment! The wooden bridge was closed but there was no info about it online. Had to go around it.
Nice place for a bike ride! The only minor downside is that the trail switches from one side of the road to the other however traffic is not heavy and people are friendly enough to stop and let you cross the road. The view is very beautiful! Highly recommend!
It's very well maintained and you can walk as much or as little you want. Keep in mind there is no shade. The views are beautiful. You can also rent a bike if you prefer that.
What better way to exercise than to do it in front of the beach, with a view to be envied for. Long stretch of paved road (along with some boardwalks) perfect for walking, jogging, running, or biking. Don't forget to bring your pets! Careful at night! There's no lighting through the path, so it can get pitch black.
Amazing view next to the beach you could walk or ride an electric scooter across the place. Definitely a good place to take pictures.

It's a beautiful beach with a bay shielded from waves, which is great for swimming. There is also a very shallow pool where one can just sit in the water and enjoy the sun. It's not too crowded, and sometimes it even feels a bit secluded. It was our favorite beach to go swimming when we stayed in the Isabella area.
This beach offers a diverse experience with a calm, shallow area behind the rocks and an open section with larger waves. While there isn't much natural shade, there are vendors renting out chairs and umbrellas. Parking is available for $10, and free restrooms make the visit more convenient. There are also hotels and restaurants nearby. It does get fairly crowded on weekends, but the vibrant atmosphere adds to the experience.
Montones Beach in Isabela, Puerto Rico, is an absolute gem! This breathtaking public beach stole my heart with its pristine golden sands, very shallow crystal-clear turquoise waters, and serene vibe. The natural beauty is unmatched—perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just soaking in the sun with the gentle sound of waves. The beach is clean, well-maintained, and offers a peaceful escape from crowded tourist spots. Surrounded by lush greenery and unique rock formations, it’s a photographer’s paradise. The beach vibe is welcoming, with nearby food stalls serving delicious Puerto Rican treats. A must-visit for anyone seeking a slice of paradise!
Such a great place. Calm side for families and people relaxing. Other side has great waves. Friendly atmosphere. Great ceviche!
The staff was great! The cabins were very clean, ac in the rooms and WiFi, dishes and cookware in the cabins with a kitchen. Hammock and table and chair set on the porch. The cabin is steps away from the beach the bar and restaurant is also very close. Outside water to rinse off the sand. Gated area, parking lot and photo spots.
What a beautiful beach. This is one of the most beautiful beaches on the entire island. The water is clear and shallow which allows you to sit back and relax without worrying about any harsh waves. You can even walk on top of the rocks because of how shallow the water is. This is the most family friendly beach. Just make sure to wear protective shoe wear if you want to go on the rocks because there are many sea urchins that will poke you!
Just so beautiful. It was too windy when we went so could not do much swimming but just sitting and admiring the beach was enough. Amazing.
A good place to go with family is safe

Nice historical site. The guide did not speak Spanish, but he convinced a fellow visitor to translate for him. This church was founded in 1733 and is one of the oldest remaining church foundations in the area.
This is were the center of the old municipality Isabela started before it was move to is actual location to acces a more commercially location for been near the port.
A very simple area that you might easily overlook, but the history it holds is amazing. We visited the small museum, watched a documentary, and saw various artifacts. By luck we even met a man who had been part of the bone excavation project for those buried under the old church ruins. It was a great place to learn some fascinating facts about the indigenous history of Puerto Rico.
If you want to see a part of religous and native taino history in PR you should visit this small museum. It has the remains of the very first church in the area and holds a rich culture . They display it with movies, photos even artifacts. It is a must see. I took my two teenage sons to learn and value our history. The educator was awesome and shared many facts and demonstrated vintage artifacts belonging to the church. We recommend that you leave a donation and buy items feom their snack shop. This is a non-profit organization and jewel to the island of PR.
Very beautiful small museum full of Isabelas history. Learned a lot about Puerto Rico’s indigenous history. There’s a lady who sells limber down the street as well lol
For the one that love history and archeology this is a most. Open Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 3pm. A total of 20 min. stop to take advantages in all other atrattion near by. Plus ice cream at the gas station is a most. You will not recreated for those sweet tooth fans.
See hours of operation However you are able to appreciate it from the outside
This are the ruins of a church from the 1700s. It's like an hour stop; they have a small museum with some information and they will put on a short film of the history of this place. There's always chance for great pictures here. Not many people know about this place so that means crowds are non existence.

Puerto Rico is beautiful but this beach is one very quite one and one of the most beautiful places to visit. If you want a beautiful view and to enjoy the beach away from all the people in other beautiful beaches, this is the place to come. Not so good for kids that don't know how to swim because of the powerful waves. Definitely perfect for surfers. Please come I highly recommend it.
Another beach, that's so relaxful. Before you go down to play a hobo. It's in the same road
Beautiful, lots of rocks, not good for casual swimming. We surfed there on a slightly over head morning with light onshore winds. The spot is best suited for those comfortable and experienced with their ability to surf a real wave.
Was very windy when I came but very scenic views .
Another Puerto Rican beach that is so much better than the best in the states. Incredibly soft sand dunes are 30-50 feet tall. Not commercialized, the land owners across the street from this beach actually are grazing cows. A real natural treasure.
Absolutely beautiful beach. There is so much hidden treasure along the beach to find.
Nice beach. Larger waves rock coastline. One smallish area that is protected from the waves for swimming. Popular with locals. Free access and parking.
Beautiful ♥️ A great place to be alone and experience the real Puerto Rico!

We love to take family and friends here when they visit. It's very beautiful too.
This Walmart is good. It has a panda express restaurant inside. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't comment on the food. They have a good donut place at the entrance. The only thing i have a problem with this Walmart is the lack of variety for groceries. Selectos is the better grocery option.
Some new stores are being added. The walmart is remodeled and pickup service added, the supermarket is being remodeled and a chik fil A is under construction. There are good stores, I wish there was some more variety of stores added where there are empty locations, or some more food options added. Also, the movie theater could use a remodel also. Overall a good option for the area.
Crowded Walmart experience, kinda fun people watching and I always go to the in-store Panda Express!
Parking truly sucks, always super busy. That being said, there are plenty of stores.
This place has everything you need, walmart. Marianne humberto vidal, me salve, Chinese food bakery and so much.
Too crowded very tight parking. No good food places only fast foods.
People act like animals there. Rude. In the way. Not an ounce of politeness. It's ridiculous.
