Beautiful hotel, but the check-in process was so bad. I had to wait at the gate for 20 minutes, and they couldn’t find my reservation, so they asked my driver to keep circling around and around. Instead of letting us wait inside while they sorted it out, they made us loop around repeatedly—what a joke! Should have just gone home at this point. They didn’t honor early check-in from AMEX Fine Hotels and Resorts, and the room was late, so we had to wait hours for them to clean it. This place felt like a disorganized mess 😢 People spend good money to come here, and I can see why there are so many 1-star reviews disappointed with the service. That being said, it’s a beautiful beach and a nice place, which deserves an extra star on its own. However, it seems like it’s being managed poorly. AC not working, and apparently it’s been not working for a while. How does a hotel of this caliber not fix the AC when it’s baking hot? We are sweating inside while waiting for the room to be cleaned 🥵🥵 If they had better service, management, and protocols, this place would surely earn its reserve status. Unfortunately, it’s the worst Marriott Reserve hotel I’ve stayed at in the world.

Omfg. Loved. Loved. Loved!!!! From the moment you walk in to this resort, you’re just treated with the best care. Every touch point in this resort is consistent. The food at the restaurants can have a bit of a wait, but it’s nothing that changes the overall experience. Our Embajador team, (mostly Raysa and Miguel) were incredible. I prob shouldn’t share this, but they were booked for massages the only day we had available (we booked our stay here last min), and they went out of their way to get us access into the spa (which was awesome!) Those extra little efforts make the WORLD of a difference. Multiple restaurants to choose from, multiple pools, beautiful beach, great service. The landscaping and the property was unmatched! Also, the fitness classes were super fun and food was excellent. We ate a lot of popsicles. Highly recommend.

I stayed at the Dorado Ritz-Carlton over the summer, and I’m embarrassed to say I’m writing this review a bit late, as soon as I returned home, life hit me fast with a pile of work deadlines and a family situation that needed my full attention. But even with all that going on, I still haven’t stopped thinking about this trip, which says everything you need to know. This was, without exaggeration, the best travel experience I have ever had. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything felt magical. The employees are truly what make this place unforgettable. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond, and the level of warmth and genuine care is something you simply can’t put a price on. We stayed in one of the rooms with its own private pool directly in front of the beach, and waking up to that view felt surreal. The room itself was immaculate: luxurious, serene, and designed to melt stress away the second you step inside. But the real heart of Dorado Beach is the Embajador Team. They elevated the stay from amazing to life-changing. Thank you, Trent, Angel, and Chen, you three are extraordinary. Your attention to detail, kindness, and ability to anticipate needs before we even voiced them made the entire experience feel personalized and special. Fantastic experience in Puerto Rico. This property cracked my top 5 and may end up being top 3 as time goes by. The property, pools, restaurants, gyms and grounds were fantastic. The rooms were clean and perfectly laid out. The outside shower was a great touch and the butler team assigned to us at registration made the experience even better. The people at the resort, regardless of their position, were beyond hospitable and gracious. What a spot! We can't wait to go back when it's not so hot and muggy. Great food everywhere you go on this property..... even the pool food. We love this property!

We celebrated our 40th anniversary at Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and it was pure paradise. Our Embajador Carlos made everything effortless — every detail felt thoughtful and personal. The spa, food, and service were all incredible, and the peaceful West Beach setting was a dream. Hearing the coquí frogs at night as we walked to dinner made every evening feel magical. Can’t wait to return to this little piece of heaven. 🌴✨

We stayed here for 4 nights/5 days and overall had a great time. The service really stood out – every room has a private butler, which made things super easy, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice spread, and we loved the little touches like complimentary hats, afternoon popsicles, coconut water, and even a rum tasting. The hotel has such a cool history (Rockefeller and Amelia Earhart were associated with this Reserve) and the location right off a secluded beach is just beautiful. The Spa Botánico was definitely a highlight – really unique and worth trying if you’re here. Our room was spacious with an amazing beach view, which made mornings extra special. On the flip side, we did notice there weren’t many vegetarian options, which felt a bit limiting for a property of this level. Also, the AC gave us some trouble on a couple of nights. Overall though, the positives outweighed the negatives, and it’s a really special place to stay. For the price of the reserve they have to get it all right to get a 5 star review.

This was my 1st time in PR and I have to say this adventure was great for first timers! The guides are very knowlageable about the land and all it has to offer. We started off learning about awesome fruits and plant life then imedietly jumped into 4 zip lines. Afterwards we hiked along the creek and swam in the guppy filled water hole. My 65 year old aunt came along and she was able to conquer her fear of heights and push herself without overdoing it! Overall great memories

Absolutely top notch resort. The hotel staff is constantly bending over backwards to make sure you are well accommodated. Rooms are spacious and elegant with beautiful views. The food everywhere is delightful with a well appointed wine list. Only complaints are that we had a few power outages that, once restored, turned all the lights on in our room at 2am. Outside of that it was a super relaxing and enjoyable time.

Amazing place! Beautiful setting with activities for everyone! Beach, pool, water park, service and amenities are all fantastic. Pickleball, kitesurfing, surfing, cycling, golf and more.

Great golfing good breakfast. Staff is friendly, but they lacked the attention to detail on that day, our table waited 1 hr to get our food after waiting almost another 30 min to get any attention and 4 orders came out incorrect that is unacceptable. The bright side of the breakfast is that hands down they have the best oatmeal in town.

Horrible. The person who is apparently in charge, Carmen Ramos, was nasty and disrespectful. Ruined my whole experience and I don't think I will host events there ever again. She has no business working in customer service. And I am certain that this can't be the only bad review because of her. Her aberrant demeanor overshadowed the rest of the staff. Again; horrible.

If you love golf and the beach then you have to have visit this gorgeous unique property. One of the best courses we've played in the world. Very friendly and professional staff especially Georgie Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. We'll be sure to return on our next visit to Puerto Rico.

Terrible service! I expected better from the business housing the "Governor" of Puerto Rico. So much time wasted waiting for things that should have been done before we even arrived. I am only giving one star because no stars isn't an option.

I had an incredible deep tissue massage with Janeyra! It is very evident that she cares for her clients and loves what she does. She speaks both English and Spanish and makes you feel welcome. Book with her—for sure! The spa itself is beautiful and calming. I really appreciate that you can book appointments online. Definitely bring a swim suit and get there early or stay afterwards to enjoy the plunge pool, steam room and relaxation areas. Highly recommend!

Started the experience a little shaky. The spa confirmed with us the day before our reservation for myself and my mom. The day of however they called a few hours before our reservation to say that we would have to reschedule our mani/pedis because the mani/pedi area was being remolded. We refused and told the girl who called that we had already prepaid our service and if we had to cancel 60% of our service we wanted to cancel all of it. The girl at the reception put us on hold and was pretty curt with us when she came back on the phone and said “fine” they could do the services we had already paid for. When we got there we were given a locker for our items and shown the pool. The pool was lovely, relaxing and they let us soak for a long while. Afterwards we showered and were taken to our massage. Our masseuses were excellent, we loved our massages. Afterwards we were taken to a quiet room with comfy couches where you can help yourself to complimentary snacks. We were shown the mani/pedi area and I was genuinely surprised because it was full. They clearly had guests booked all day, which means the phone call we received in the morning was clearly a lie. Nevertheless our technicians were friendly and excellent. It would have been a perfect experience if it wasn’t for the bizarre phone call. I would recommend and return.

Always an amazing experience! The staff, the masseuse, the amenities, everything!!! Julisa is the best esthetician and Mariel has literal magic on her hands whenever I get a massage. Definitely recommend. 10/10

I used to live in Quintas de Dorado between 2012-2015 and let me tell you, the staff and prices were amazing. Tried to make an appoinment for my bday while visiting and the prices were doubled. I still made the appoinment bc of my nostalgic relationship with the spa but called today to see if there were better prices at least for military and if not I'd have to cancel. The woman's response was, ok I will cancel your appointment? Horrible customer service and the sense of entitlement they seem to have now is very disappointing. Triste lo q se convirtio mi Pueblo, y voy la semana q viene. 256$ plus tax for two 55 min massages. I used to pay 70 per massage. This has changed drastically. Either give more for the amount or reconsider these prices and the way people are treated.

The payment process always takes this place from a 4 or 5, to a 3 star. They require an authorization prior, then can never run the card after the massage, unless it’s present with you. I thought it was a first time thing maybe, it’s been this way everytime I went for three years. It seems more like laziness or bad management, how would you run the card if someone didn’t show up? Finally, they don’t let you tip on card, don’t have cash, and don’t allow ATH for the therapists. It’s insane how such easy to fix things could make this a five star place. People don’t want to pay $500 a massage at DBE in Dorado.

Overall amazing experience! The atmosphere was very relaxing, the facilities were great! The pool area had an intimate feel and the showers were equipped. The facial and massage services were top tier. The costumer service was elite, they were ready to assist in whatever we needed and they were very kind. 100% would recommend! I am definitely returning!

Beautiful location to stay for some time. I do not recommend the massages. I took my mom on our last day of vacation. The girls were very kind but you can tell still learning their techniques. Massage was rushed and not the full time. Maybe they are better at other services, but not massages. Live and learn. Still nice services. Bring cash to tip, they are still learning and still providing a service! I didn’t want to rude and tell them me and my mami didn’t enjoy the massages. I wish the location the best!

Unfortunately we were not able to fish with Captain Luis. High winds kept pushing our trip daily until we had to leave PR. Luis was everything professional and safety was the number one concern on his list. Very good communication and we have no question who we will use when we come back to Puerto Rico - and hopefully be able to fish with him next time!

No interaction with customers, no food, no drink, no fish a total waste of money

I have been on multiple Deep Sea Fishing Charters all around the world and this was the worst! Terrible experience on this fishing charter. I took three of my teenage kids and we went for 3 1/2 hours on very, very choppy water. Two of my kids threw up the other one, let's say did not feel great at all. Captain Louis would not turn around, when I requested. He said they would be fine after they drank "Sprite" I requested a turn around , 1.5 hours in again. Basically, he slowed the ship down for a little while.....He was determined to try to catch something at my kids expense. He gave them "sprites" to drink, said that they would make them feel better ?!? Really!?!?? we needed to turn around after about a half an hour of the ridiculous waves. We finally returned after 2 hours out at a speed, like a bat outa He....... I will say one thing the help did a great job and u could see it in his eye, we should turn around captain. Of, course, we didn't catch a fish at all, surprisingly. Then he expected his $500 and said that was less than his regular price... huh, never mentioned the "discount" when I called. Basically, he should have comped us. I would've I have several businesses and would of extended at the very least a huge discount. Also, he acted like he wanted a tip, wow! Unprofessional... be warned DO NOT use this guy. Get a local, bonded and insured "COMPANY", its worth the $$ and time.

Rough seas, and only 1 fish caught for the trip. Still had a great time. Captain Luis and his hand Louis, were both courteous and professional. Their focus on safety and comfort is admirable. His pricing is good, and can't beat the travel time if you're anywhere near the Dorado area. A 30ft boat with a head and small galley is pretty convenient for a fishing trip. I also appreciate that he doesn't mix groups to fill the boat. Wish we could've caught more, but that's fishin'. Will definitely go out again with this Skipper and crew.

Could not ask for more from a charter fishing company!! Captain Luis was a wonderful boat captain and we had the trip of a lifetime. He has superior knowledge of the area and fish. We caught fish non stop, easily over 100, on a 6 hour trip. Anytime we stopped catching fish, we moved to a new spot where we caught more. We reef fished and caught several types of fish, Jackarell, grouper, yellow fun snapper, snapper and another like a gar but not gar! :) Luis made sure to point out things along the ride to make it enjoyable. I rally enjoyed the trip! And he made sure we were enjoying it- I have zero doubts that had we changed our minds about something, he would have done everything he could to make the fishing trip more enjoyable!

Captain Luis and his crew were great! Had an awesome time and will definitely return! Very hard working guy who makes things happen.

Captain Luis was able to take us out deep sea finishing on a short notice and it was awesome. No doubt it was windy/rough, but that is half the fun. Caught some Mahi-Mahis so it was great!

Atria and Spencer were immense. Came with a buddy to see if we could catch a reef break. Atria picked us up on a golf cart from the nearby beach, giving us a breakdown throughout the short ride. Spencer then offered to jet ski us out with two longboards. We had a great session and picked up some cool shirts to make it memorable! Awesome time, awesome people.

I don’t recommend this business. We drove from San Juan to Dorado to visit this place to check them out personally and schedule wing sessions but were denied access to the resort by security because we didn’t have a reservation. So it seems to be an amenity only for resort guests. It was around 2pm and no one answered the phone when security guard called GoodWinds to ask if we could visit the business. Security guard then contacted resort operator who also denied us access to resort to visit GoodWinds without a reservation also! I was disappointed with the experience trying to visit this business inside the Dorado Beach Resort.

this is an amazing place to learn to kiteboard, kitesurf, wingfoil, or even surf. the teachers really know a lot about their sports and the nature is perfect for the sports which are taught.

Went for efoil class with Spencer, I got 2 year experience on Fliteboards. They have Lift efoils, they were on time with all equipment checked. I taken total of 7 classes with other companies before. Let me tell where they are above the rest, they are on pwc next to you guiding you and giving you feedback to keep you safe. The helmet has a waterproof walkie talkie for communication during the experience. Any bad experience I had on an efoil was with shallow waters. Spencer kept me safe and away from reefs. Best teaching setting setup I have seen, well done Goodwings.

Best place to learn or improve on a watersport such as e-foiling, winging, kitesurfing, surfing and more. Beautiful protected beach with a nice bar and casual restaurant and great instructors- Rafki, Andy, Sammy and others. Be sure to call ahead for a reservation.

A Gem in the World of Surfing Schools! As someone who has traveled to numerous destinations to learn kite surfing and surfing, I can say that Goodwinds Dorado Beach stands out as my all-time favorite school! Beautiful destination, top notch equipment, with highly skilled (& most importantly nice) instructors. Shoutout to Sammy my instructor who made learning so fun!

I typically don't write reviews...almost never. But I'm compelled to tell the kite surfing world that the GoodWinds staff and experience is the absolute greatest. Best in class people, training, equipment and a tropical paradise setting. Nicole, Karla and Phil all make you feel at home and while consummate professionals, they give off the best vibe around. Cant' wait to get back to PR and kitesurf! Long way from Seattle. :)

The price of admission is RIGHT here at Caribbean Cinemas! 1 flat fee for entry is desired in the States, and comfort is met once you're seated for the show. If we could only have a tad less advertisements 🤔

Though the theater itself is nothing to gasp at, the prices make every trip worth it, ESPECIALLY compared to the States. If you’re staying in Dorado for an extended period of time this place is definitely worth an evening if you feel like watching a movie. 4.5/5

Movie theather is decent, but the popcorn area are really slow!!! Super slowwww if you want to buy popcorn, nachos soda, ect i suggest you to come 1 hour before the movie start because this people does not know what is the meaning of fast! I been waiting on the line for 30 minutes and im still on the half of it.

I made a big order online when I went to pick up I saw a few candies that (didn’t appear online) when I asked to purchase them the lady said I had to make the massive line in order to purchase them. Totally unnecessary specially with three toddlers with me.

Movie Theater seats stink’s.!! Humid and mold smelly carpets. More than 20mins waiting to buy popcorn and a soda . It’s a shame this is the only movie theater brand in the island. Needs to improve cleanliness.

This parish DOES have an English Mass on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am and there are plenty of empty pews. Please come fill them. Fr. Santa is very kind and accommodating. The church is small but the people are very friendly.

We were in PR first 3 weeks over Easter. Went for Mass in English. Quaint chapel. Have been going for 30+ years.

At the the end, she suggested a scented candle and sage for his birthday. He absolutely love it!
