Book your Aruba Horse Tour here, you won’t regret it. As an equestrian, I’m always nervous booking international horse tours, but everything was amazing! We were able to walk/trot/gallop through the amazing scenery, lead by Alex- 10/10 recommend. Perfect for beginners through advanced riders alike. They provided complimentary water & transportation from our hotel (thank you Yhamil!), and most importantly, the horses were extremely well trained & taken care of.
We had such a great experience at Rancho La Ponderosa Aruba! The stable staff were friendly and funny and our guide was wonderful. Remember to wear appropriate clothing….several ladies wore shorts and open toe shoes which they regretted doing.
Breathtaking. Lorenzo & Danny lead us on the most beautiful horseback ride. Desert to the Sea. We did the morning trip & it was sun all day. I suggest tennis shoes, jeans, long sleeve shirt & hat with SPF50. Lorenzo serenaded us and I sang Amazing Grace with him. I was on Bacardi & my friend was on Shakira. It was the most delightful day. The horses are in a routine allowing you to relax & enjoy the scenery. Well worth the cost. Bring another $10 cash for a photo. Tips are welcome. Say hello to the macaw onsite and be a cowboy/girl for the ride. Enjoy. A great way to celebrate my birthday. It was another person’s on the tour birthday as well.
Great tour!! Beautiful views and super helpful and kind staff! They were very helpful with me as a beginner and we would definitely do it again. I felt safe the whole time even when the horse was running. They are very well trained horses and I could trust that the horse knew what he was doing and where he was going. The only downside was that it was kind of long for a beginner. 2 hours on a horse was super fun but felt a little long.
This morning ride was magnificent and the best 2 hours that I have spent on any vacation - EVER! My horse Chiquita was perfect for me as I am an advanced rider; a little feisty like I enjoy but fantastic! Even the beginners did great on their easy and sure footed horses! There were 2 wonderful guides, Pedro and Daniel, one in the back and one leading! The views are breathtaking and the beach ride was a huge OMG perfection! I still have chills remembering the views. Thank you to Rancho La Ponderosa for making amazing sweet memories for me on my vacation!!!
This is the place in Aruba for a great faster pace ride. You ride gaited Passo Fino horses that have a very comfortable trott and a smooth cantor. They have all levels of horses so even the 1st time riders on our tour did great. I was riding Picasso a 9 yo high spirited gelding so I was up front most of the ride with our lead guide Pedro. My girlfriend wanted a calmer ride so she was given a very responsive mare in her 20s named Chabalita. The horses go to their natural gaited trott right from the start. Being in front with Pedro and Frederico, who might have been the ranch owner, down by the baby bridge I got to gallop up a sand dune with them. On the return I had Picasso well enough in hand to stay back with Chabalita. It was the 4pm sunset ride so time being of essence it was a good paced trott and even cantering along the wider sections of the trail back to the ranch. I highly recommend La Ponderosa if you enjoy horses and riding while on vacation.
We have been going for years. My son Oliver is a huge fan of the Ranch and we know the family. Mr Lucho,Nelson Old and new Pedro. It is by far the best Ranch in the Island.
My husband and I visited Aruba for our Honeymoon back in December 2020. Someone on the beach by our resort was selling horseback riding packages, so we decided to check it out and we were so happy we did! They arranged for someone to come pick us up at our resort, and drop us back off when we were done. We went on the most beautiful 2 hour private horseback riding tour that we will never forget at Rancho La Ponderosa. Everyone at the ranch was very nice and accommodating. Overall we had a great time, and saw the most beautiful views of Aruba, would highly recommend!

This excursion was my favorite!! Wendyl was our instructor and he was fun and a low-key comedian. He made us feel comfortable right away. If you are in Aruba looking for something fun to do this is it. We rode to a few wonderful caves with water and they were all breathtaking !! Wendyl explained the history to some monumental sites such as the gold mine and gave us enough time to enjoy ourselves. This is definitely a must !!
Was a wild experience in the best way, travelled across rocky paths, through the streets of Aruba, swam in a cave pool and the most beautiful water, was such an active fun way to see corners of the island I wouldn’t have gotten to see on my own! 100% recommend this experience had a nice small group which made for an awesome time! Thank you for the memories
Had an absolute blast with Aruba Go Cherry ATV Tours! Wendell was an amazing guide—funny, knowledgeable, and kept the group engaged. Incredible views you can’t experience any other way! First ATV tour and definitely not the last. Book the tour!!! You won’t regret it!
It was amazing and so much fun! We rode through town and over hills and down valleys leading to the Sea!!! We made multiple stops on our journey to 3 different natural bridges and other photo ops! The first natural bridge/cave we were able to take a dive into and swim for a short while! It is a one of kind experience that I would definitely recommend! We also stopped by the old gold mine ruins and the area where the wishing rocks are. All in all we had a great time and it was well worth the money spent!!!
3/1/23 was the date of our trip, and we went with the morning group. This was a great time. My family are avid off-roaders back home. It starts off very tame and then about two hours in you hit some good off road spots. The cave pool, and The beach you stop at are absolutely breathtaking. Our two guides were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and over accommodating!!! This is a must do early in your trip especially if you are looking to rent a machine and go off on your own. They will give you the in and outs of local rules as well as history of off-roading on the island. These fellas rode with respect and the skill level of the group. The machines they are renting are Polaris sportsman 570, Honda Pioneers, and Polaris Ranger. Most were well maintained with no issues on the ride. I would 110% recommend these guys.
Rocky and Curt were amazing tour guides. Well worth the cost. Highly recommend! Isaac picked us up at our resort and brought us back. Easy! You will not find a better ATV tour. We had a small group and it was absolutely perfect! So much fun!!
Small family owned business with a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We were able to get in at the last minute because they still had availability. We were taken around to different spots where some information was given about that location and after burning up in the heat and getting dusty on the bike we were able to cool down twice. Water stops were included in our itinerary so make sure dress accordingly (Bathing suit/water shoes). I really feel like we got to see a lot on our tour. Complementary Water was available the entire ride. Thank You, Alexis and Rocky you both were great.
Wendel was an awesome guide, showing us island highlights while making sure we were comfortable and having fun! Would highly recommend this excursion if visiting Aruba and wanting to explore more of the island!
