Casibari Rock Formations

4.5
(3159)
Casibari Rock Formations, also known as Ayo Rock Formations, are a remarkable cluster of tonalite rocks in Aruba. These formations offer scenic trails and steps leading to the top, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The sites carry an air of mystery with scientists puzzled about their geological origin and archaeologists fascinated by the petroglyphs and paintings presumably made by Aruba's native Arawak people.
Beautiful area! Highly recommend walking up The stairs to get a view of the entire area. The area is so calming and beautiful. It was so nice walking the entire area and viewing the rock formations. I also saw two owls which was super cool. The local that takes care of the owl and monitors the area was beyond kind and helpful. He showed the entire area and went over the history of how the rocks were formed as well as prickly pear. Side note: the locals in Aruba are extremely nice and welcoming. I had the best experience ever mostly due to how welcoming the locals were.
Shalon J — Google review
It is definitely a unique and memorable place. Climbing those massiv boulders and taking in the panoramic views from the top is such a rewarding experience. Wear comfortable shoes suitable for climbing.
Repi N — Google review
Must see and climb when visiting Aruba. The stair climb was relatively easy and the view was awesome. We did a Little Rock traversing on our own and it was a fun time. Make sure you’re experienced enough if you start climbing around.
Jay C — Google review
This is a great stopping point on the island especially if you're trekking out elsewhere already. I wouldn't say this is a place you can spend hours at (especially mid day it will be very hot). However, the view from up top is very nice and the garden is fun to walk around and look for iguanas and other critters running around. There are restrooms on site (sort of, they were locked when we went) but the bar has bathrooms across the street, they will charge you $1 but that is typical on the island. Visiting here is absolutely free otherwise so definitely with the stop.
James C — Google review
Really cool rock formations to hike around and take pictures. Easy to navigate for most people. Well worth the short drive and time we spent. Honestly one of our favorite activities of the week. Strung this stop with the Aloe farm (first), Ayo rock formations, and the ruins, cave pool, and natural bridge. Made for a full afternoon.
Casey J — Google review
What a very cool place to visit! I have been in the stone business for over 20 years. I was excited to find these formations on a random drive. Great stop! Its free. They have a restaurant also and looks like a pool there also. We didnt get a chance to try their food.
Cheri B — Google review
Great views. Can become crowded at top. Steep climb so take your time going up and especially coming down. Excellent spot to wander and take pictures. Many different smaller formations.
Sarah W — Google review
Beautiful views. If you have mobility issues do not climb. Was easy for me but some elderly were getting stuck half way up and had difficulty coming back down.

Park
Nestled in the heart of Aruba, the Casibari Boulders offer a unique glimpse into the island's natural beauty and rich history. As you navigate through this ancient site, you'll encounter impressive rock formations that are not only visually stunning but also steeped in cultural significance. The boulders provide an excellent opportunity for hiking enthusiasts to explore while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of Aruba from various vantage points.
For a free place to sightsee it was very nice. You can climb up some stairs for great views. A little tricky on the stairs so older folks may need to be careful. But plenty to see even if you don't climb.

The panoramic view from the top of Casibari Boulders is breathtaking; we thoroughly enjoy it!

Nice place to see the island. Just be careful of the steps up and down. They are somewhat steep and can be difficult to climb, but the view is great.

Mi Dushi Casibari

4.4
(20)
Bar & grill
Nestled in the heart of Paradera, Mi Dushi Casibari is a delightful spot that perfectly complements a visit to the stunning Casibari Rock Formations. These natural wonders are remnants of Aruba's volcanic past and offer breathtaking views. Although we arrived just as they were closing, the staff graciously reopened for us and a small group of bikers, showcasing their exceptional hospitality.
When we arrived they closed early for the day so they were not open. We went to the park across the street. To our surprise staff returned and opened the restaurant for us and a small group of bikers. Staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a great time playing foosball, pool, the overlook, and on the swings. The food was good and wide variety of drinks options (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

Our tour group stopped in for lunch. ..I had the garden salad which was so darn good and loaded w/vegetables and my husband had cheese burger and fries which was excellent! Great portions! When in Aruba.. ..stop by!!!!

Stopped by the rock formations and fell in love with their playlist. Everyone who wrote a bad review about the music needs to lighten up a bit. Sure, they charge $1 for the restroom but that’s common on the island. Great for a light refreshment on a hot day and great music!
Allie P — Google review
They have their own rock formation in the back that looks out to the casibari rock formation across the street.
E L — Google review
Seriously?! A $1 charge for the use of their toilet?!!! They are blasting music next to the beautiful rock formations - you can’t even enjoy a walk in nature because of this establishment.
H J — Google review
We went there to see the rock formations and possibly get some souvenirs, but we were greeted with extremely loud club music that ruined the peaceful environment and $1.00 entry fees to use the restrooms.

Got ignored twice by the staff and decided to not order, if you are touring around the area, go to other food shops

The tour provides a great opportunity to soak up the beauty and vibes of Aruba while riding top-notch equipment. It's recommended to wear a swimsuit and bring sunglasses for this elite adventure around the island.
This excursion was my favorite!! Wendyl was our instructor and he was fun and a low-key comedian. He made us feel comfortable right away. If you are in Aruba looking for something fun to do this is it. We rode to a few wonderful caves with water and they were all breathtaking !! Wendyl explained the history to some monumental sites such as the gold mine and gave us enough time to enjoy ourselves. This is definitely a must !!

Was a wild experience in the best way, travelled across rocky paths, through the streets of Aruba, swam in a cave pool and the most beautiful water, was such an active fun way to see corners of the island I wouldn’t have gotten to see on my own! 100% recommend this experience had a nice small group which made for an awesome time! Thank you for the memories

Had an absolute blast with Aruba Go Cherry ATV Tours! Wendell was an amazing guide—funny, knowledgeable, and kept the group engaged. Incredible views you can’t experience any other way! First ATV tour and definitely not the last. Book the tour!!! You won’t regret it!

It was amazing and so much fun! We rode through town and over hills and down valleys leading to the Sea!!! We made multiple stops on our journey to 3 different natural bridges and other photo ops! The first natural bridge/cave we were able to take a dive into and swim for a short while! It is a one of kind experience that I would definitely recommend! We also stopped by the old gold mine ruins and the area where the wishing rocks are. All in all we had a great time and it was well worth the money spent!!!

3/1/23 was the date of our trip, and we went with the morning group. This was a great time. My family are avid off-roaders back home. It starts off very tame and then about two hours in you hit some good off road spots. The cave pool, and The beach you stop at are absolutely breathtaking. Our two guides were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and over accommodating!!! This is a must do early in your trip especially if you are looking to rent a machine and go off on your own. They will give you the in and outs of local rules as well as history of off-roading on the island. These fellas rode with respect and the skill level of the group. The machines they are renting are Polaris sportsman 570, Honda Pioneers, and Polaris Ranger. Most were well maintained with no issues on the ride. I would 110% recommend these guys.
Christopher W — Google review
Rocky and Curt were amazing tour guides. Well worth the cost. Highly recommend! Isaac picked us up at our resort and brought us back. Easy! You will not find a better ATV tour. We had a small group and it was absolutely perfect! So much fun!!
Kandy D — Google review
Small family owned business with a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. We were able to get in at the last minute because they still had availability. We were taken around to different spots where some information was given about that location and after burning up in the heat and getting dusty on the bike we were able to cool down twice. Water stops were included in our itinerary so make sure dress accordingly (Bathing suit/water shoes). I really feel like we got to see a lot on our tour. Complementary Water was available the entire ride. Thank You, Alexis and Rocky you both were great.

Wendel was an awesome guide, showing us island highlights while making sure we were comfortable and having fun! Would highly recommend this excursion if visiting Aruba and wanting to explore more of the island!

Restaurant
Casibari Cafe is a small but popular restaurant in the city of Pago Pago that attracts tourists and locals looking for a place to grab some drinks and snacks, as well as live music events. The bizarre Flintstone bedrock-style rock formations at Casibari make for great photos, and the restaurant has even begun hosting music events with local bands.
Utterly and perfectly charming from start to finish... right down to the random airplane engines used for decor. After all this time on the island I've finally found a truly local bar/restaurant. The atmosphere is impeccable, as is the service. The beer is cold and the prices are fair. Casibari's BBQ is frankly unbelievable and the Cafe's BBQ chorizo is the best I've ever had, by a long throw. This place is truly a hidden gem. Full marks. I'll be coming back here a lot when I'm on the island.

We stopped at the café during a tour. Everyone was happy with their meal. The breaded grouper and chicken and gouda were excellent. Folks with burgers were happy too. Quirky place with a gift shop.

Fun outdoor bar and grill with music, dancing and cold beer. Nothing fancy, but worth the stop for a relaxing stop along your Aruba tour of the Ayo Rock Formations

Bakery
Nestled in the heart of Aruba, Bright Bakery has been a cherished institution since its establishment in 1949 by Harry Bareno. This family-owned gem is renowned for its delightful array of baked goods that cater to both locals and visitors alike. The bakery's signature pastechis, with their unique BRIGHT BAKERY imprint, come in various flavors such as cheese, fish, and chop suey—perfect for a quick snack or lunch on the go.
AMAZING custom cake decorating! And tasted great! They were fast with taking in my order and right on time with delivery to our hotel! 10/10 recommend this fabulous bakery.
Kristi N — Google review
We were pushed into using this bakery by the hotel where we hosted our wedding. It was a $600 wedding cake, and it was undoubtedly the worst wedding cake I've ever tasted. The cake was dry, coarse, and crumbly with thin, gritty icing at the tasting two months prior to the wedding. We hoped, based on the hotel's insistence and our feedback, that it would be better at the wedding. It was in fact WORSE. I don't have our wedding video back yet but I'm hoping our faces don't show how sour we felt about this cake during our cake cutting. The wedding cake being so bad at my own wedding was embarrassing. I'm an avid baker and cake is my favorite dessert. We asked for a very basic look - white frosting with florals that they purchased - so it LOOKED fine. But I could have gotten the photo op moment for a lot less than $600; the point was that I wanted to feed our guests a good cake! Thank goodness we ordered other desserts. Do NOT use this bakery for any event that is special to you. You are literally better off with a sheet cake from Super Food. Photos are from our tasting. It's hard to depict taste but you can see how much they skimped on icing and how crumbly the cake is.
Sifat A — Google review
Was just telling my husband that I haven’t seen a bakery on the island and then suddenly we stumbled on this gem! The club sandwich was the best club I’ve ever had! Prices are very reasonable and pastries were delicious!
Stephanie R — Google review
Not bad. Stopped by in the way to the beaches. Grabbed some desserts. Little confusing on how to order, but was good and very reasonable priced.
Boris M — Google review
Oldest bakery on the island, our first visit here (to the bakery). We will definitely have to go back. We didn't have much time, so we both tried a pastry this time. Next time I would like to have more time and try breakfast or lunch. Pastries all look delicious.
Tamara J — Google review
Imagine giving this local company multiple chances, and still you dont get the service that you payed for. Years ago they completely did not make my baptism desserts. Then for my son's 3rd birthday did not do the cake in the color palette that I asked for. Last year came to the store gave them an inspiration picture, with some modifications (asked for red fondant). Disappointed me with not following through with the modifications. They simply said too bad, to try next year, via email, to avoid issues. Low and behold, this years cake again not doing what I asked. Anywho, I used to vouch for bright bakery, due to locally owned, and fair prices. But I guess not anymore. And even when telling them about their mistakes, they try to blame the customer. If you have something important try someone else like Cesar's cakes, at least he does what you ask for.
Isabelle R — Google review
Tried Huchada twice but the line was out the door both times. Bright Bakery is just down the road. We had pastries one day and a real breakfast (French toast, eggs, omelettes) the other. Service was good TAKE A NUMBER WHEN YOU GO IN. Prices more than fair compared to breakfast in the hotel areas.
Rainmakr — Google review
They made multiple errors and didn’t attempt to fix or compensate for it. The cake also didn’t taste good. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this bakery. I wish I didn’t waste my money ordering my birthday cake from this shop.

Restaurant
Alfie's in Aruba is a small and humble pub located near the church in Oranjestad. Despite its seemingly sketchy location, it is relatively safe and offers great quality food. The Le Twist and General Chow burgers are highly recommended, along with the Mushroom Swiss. In addition to burgers, they also serve wraps, salads, and delicious poutine. It's a great spot for enjoying burgers, wings, and seafood while being entertained by live music in a cozy atmosphere.
Alfie's: A Canadian Gem in Aruba Alfie's in Aruba is a fantastic restaurant with exceptional service. The owner, a friendly Canadian, took the time to check in on us and ensure our dining experience was top-notch. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten-free options and accommodated our dietary needs. The burgers were absolutely delicious, some of the best we've ever had. The vegetarian bean burger was a standout, perfect for vegans and vegetarians. The fries, onion rings, and margaritas were also excellent. While the limited gluten-free options could be improved with clearer labeling, Alfie's is still a must-visit for anyone in Aruba. We highly recommend it!
Hamont R — Google review
Alfie’s was a pretty good place to get a burger and I really like the poutine. We also tried the Mac and cheese and the goobers wings. The Mac and cheese was a bit grainy and I wouldn’t get it again, the wings were decent although pb&j is a weird sauce type. The burgers were really good and I would definitely go for them again. The poutine was also very good.

There's only two bars on the Island of Aruba that support and nurture underground and alternative music culture, and this is one of them, so if you're into punk, grunge or anything else alternative music related, this is a must hang in Aruba! Also home base to the amazing Aruban post-punk band Activemirror who you should check out on Bandcamp ASAP! Cheap drinks and loud rock away from the swarms of beach tourists is a great combo!

What a hidden gem! I found this place online, the Poutine + live music intrigued me. We made a reservation for a Thursday night so we could try the ribs. As it turned out no one was in the mood. We got burgers and a BLT. They loved their burgers. My BLT was next level. The bun was so good. Best BLT I ever had. We tried the regular poutine and with sweet potato fries. Both were excellent! Onto the live music. There was a guy singing acoustic with a guitar and a drummer, turns out he's from a local band called Active Mirror. Such talent! He has a voice that gives you chills when he hits the high notes. We had a great night out at Alfie's and will be back to try the ribs next time we are in town.

NOTHING BUT GREAT FOOD! We came during low season and I made reservations just in case. It’s a very small area about 9 tables. We loved the atmosphere its gives you that dive bar feel. They also had live music when we went on a Thursday. They have many burger options and it did not disappoint! They are HUGE and definitely filling. The onion rings and wings delicious! We had the beach wings and it was very tasty! The wait staff were super friendly and down to earth. We are definitely coming back to this spot everytime we come to Aruba!

We absolutely love Alfie’s! So much so we went two nights in a row. Seating is limited so we made reservations for both nights. The food was delicious and the service was great. The poutine was amazing, the goober chicken wings were surprisingly tasty, the ribs and Nashville hot chicken were both great as well. The atmosphere was welcoming and fun. Everyone working there is friendly and happy. We highly recommend you check this place out! ( some of my pictures were taken after we started to eat…portion sizes were great)

Small spot off the beaten path. They make you feel right at home. This is not a fancy place but if you’re looking for good food and nice atmosphere this is the place for you. Caribbean restaurant
Aqua Grill in Aruba offers a modern setting that blends New England fish house traditions with Caribbean charm. The restaurant has quickly become popular among both locals and tourists, thanks to its award-winning chef who combines classic seafood dishes with creative presentations. While it's considered one of the fanciest dining spots in Aruba, personal circumstances may affect the overall experience. Despite this, Aqua Grill remains a must-visit for those seeking an exceptional seafood dining experience on the island.
A Truly Memorable Anniversary Celebration at Aqua Grill We had the most incredible dining experience at Aqua Grill! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. A huge thank you to Zuleima, who went above and beyond to make our anniversary extra special. The highlight of our evening was the fresh red snapper—it was caught that day, and we even got to hold it and take pictures beforehand, which made the experience truly unique. The fish was prepared to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. To top it off, Zuleima surprised us with a complimentary anniversary cake, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our night even more memorable. Thank you again to Zuleima and the Aqua Grill team for their amazing service, delicious food, and for creating such a warm, celebratory atmosphere. We will definitely be back for more!

What a lovely experience. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The lobster was sweet and delicious. The lobster bisque and clam chowder were hot and delicious. I didn't have a drink 🍷 but my friend's drink was tasty. The place is HUGE and there was a lady singing who had an amazing voice. Service was on point. I would highly recommend this place and will be returning.

We ate dinner at Aqua Grill on Thurs, October 17, 2024. We were a party of 8. Service seemed slow based on the number of staff present in the restaurant. One in our party ordered a half pound of the King Crab Legs as a meal. Very Disappointing!! They were over cooked and the pieces were what I call small/scrub type pieces. Recognizing that most everything in Aruba is expensive (this was our 3rd trip), the King Crab was way over priced at $130/lb, especially given the type pieces served which included a knuckle of all things. When I expressed my concern to the manager he did not seem to care. That said, all others did say their meals were good. And while we had varying experiences, this restaurant will not be in the list of places to dine on our next trip back to Aruba.

I was a bit skeptical since the rating was a 4.2. I’m was pleasantly surprised. The food and service were excellent. The servers were very attentive and always made sure our glasses stayed full. I ordered the skirt steak (cooked medium) and it was so tender. The chimichurri was the best! A bit pricey for the three of us for dinner and desert with no alcohol. The price for our dishes was $$$$. $ = Inexpensive, usually $10 and under. $$ = Moderately expensive, usually between $10-$25. $$$ = Expensive, usually between $25-$45. $$$$ = Very Expensive, usually $50 and up.

Lovely place. Very spacious. Service was great. Nora was a wonderful waitress and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. Her suggestions and the reason for her suggestions were great. The only negative was that the Caribbean seafood chowder was only lightly seasoned. We had the tuna medium rare and that was well seasoned. Absolutely delicious The lobster stuffed with crab meat was spot on The yellow fin tuna was well seasoned Will do this again

I must start with the impeccable service. Everyone was so welcoming and courteous. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Gonzalo. His upbeat personality, knowledge of the menu, and island information/tips for my party was a treasure. The West Indian fish cakes, West Indian curried shrimp, grilled salmon, and the fisherman’s platter were all pleasing to our palette! The Red Snapper is delicious grilled and fried. I look forward to returning again next year! The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner, girls night out or for an intimate family dinner.

I’ve been eating at this place for some years now and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly, service is good and food is delicious! As starters we had the tuna tartar and the lobster salad which were both great and as the entree we had the Cioppino which was super delicious. To finish it off we had the coconut flan as desert and also had some wine and cocktails. I definitely recommend anyone to come if you love seafood! But there are other options as well if you don’t.
Claudia C — Google review
This place is outrageously expensive. With that said, it’s some of the better seafood we had on the island. The appetizers weren’t great. The plank salmon was very good though. Chilean sea bass was pretty good too. Service however was practically non-existent especially considering what you’re paying to eat there. I normally tip well over 20% but actually felt a bit robbed with the 15% service charge they tack on the bill automatically.

Day 2

Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Aruba Aloe Factory Museum and Store, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Eagle Beach. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Store
The Aruba Aloe Factory Museum and Store, located in Hato, offers free educational tours and features a gift shop in a beautiful setting. Visitors can join guided tours led by native Aruba Aloe tour guides, available in multiple languages throughout the day. The tours provide insight into the domestication of the aloe plant and the manufacturing processes behind aloe-based skin care products.
We visited Aruba Aloe Factory on a Monday at about 1:33pm. My wife and I took the tour and it was very interesting. The tour guide was very informative and had a lot of humor. He made it fun and was always open for any questions (tour is free). We bought a couple of the products from the store and you can tell immediately on the level of comfort on our sunburned skin. Yes...we were sunburned. I highly recommend getting the Hydrating Aloe Rich Sunscreen (SPF 50+). We also bought the After Sun Extra Cooling Lotion and it felt amazing on our skin. Definitely a nice little visit. We were there for about 40 minutes. So if you have time...take a visit. You will not regret it.

Small but cute place and the tour was free. Gives some history and you’ll learn some thing’s. The guy giving the tour had an attitude when I approached him to ask about the tour. He then gave a great explanation and was upbeat during the tour. You get to go upstairs and see the workers. It’s interesting. Of course you shop and they have special deals. The bathroom was clean.

We had a nice tour with JC who was very friendly. He told us a lot about the history of aloe on the island and how the aloe is processed. We got to try lots of products and the cashier provided helpful information. The bathrooms were nice; it was very much appreciated. It's worth a stop, especially for a free tour if you like historical info.

Aruba Aloe Factory was a cool stop. The short presentation/demonstration on aloe processing, usage, and history was unique and knowledgeable. You can walk through the factory which was super cool too. Would recommend when in Aruba.

Our airbnb shower featured products from here so we were super excited to come. We toured the facility and purchased a bunch of stuff right after. I love the products so far!

A must-visit in Aruba! 🇦🇼🌿 The Aruba Aloe Factory & Museum offers a free tour that’s both educational and inspiring. You’ll learn about aloe cultivation, sustainable practices, and the company’s deep loyalty to their staff—plus they’ve even earned a Dutch quality seal! 🇳🇱 🌱 You can sample products along the way, then end in the gift shop where you can score a free gift by joining the VIP club. Honestly, I wish I had brought an empty suitcase just for the deals and high-quality products—they’re that good! 📸 Don’t miss the aloe fields and cute photo spots! This place is a gem, and it's clear they’re doing meaningful work for both their team and the environment.

I wanted to stop, but I wasn't sure if my boys (20 & 11) would enjoy it. We all found it enjoyable, and were excited to pick something out in the gift shop to take home. Our tour guide was energetic & very knowledgeable.

The tour was awesome! We learned a lot about the benefits of aloe. Also, the sun is super strong in Aruba and I highly recommend you pick up a bottle or two of their sunscreen. It works better than anything we brought!

If you're on the hunt for unique, locally-made gifts during your visit to Aruba, look no further than Aruba Made. This vibrant open-fronted store is hard to miss thanks to its stunning bird mural that greets you as you approach. Located conveniently near the cruise port, it offers a delightful selection of handcrafted art and jewelry alongside tasty treats like vegan ice cream and fresh coconut juice.
This was a cool little collective of local businesses in an open air chill spot. I decided to try the pofferdorie booth with stroopwaffles and mini Dutch pancakes. A nice little treat. I got a dozen with just powdered sugar and they were soft little pillows of goodness.

## Aruba ATV Adventure - Unforgettable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just got back from an incredible 4-hour ATV tour in Aruba and I'm still buzzing! This was hands down one of the highlights of my trip. Our guide, Mad Max and JoJo , was fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt safe and had a blast. We explored parts of the island I never would have seen otherwise. The rugged terrain, the stunning coastal views, and the thrill of riding the ATV made for an exhilarating experience. We even stopped at some hidden gems and got to learn a bit about the island's history and nature. Dusty? Yes! Exhilarating? Absolutely! If you're looking for an adventurous way to see Aruba beyond the beaches, I highly recommend booking a 4-hour ATV tour. It's an absolute must-do!

Hey guys, We come here every year and race. The staff are amazing. Big thanks to front desk and Flaco for sorting us out during a rain day. You guys are awesome. Karts are clean sturdy, track is smooth and wide enough for sharp turns. We had a great time here. Highly recommend. Enjoy.

We actually went here to do the atv excursion. They picked us up at a near by hotel at around 8:30 am, quick drive to business. Hack- bring a neck gator/bandana & eye googles!! Or you'll pay for them here!! Do paperwork BEFORE you get there if you can. Bring water or beverages; its dusty n dry. They'll break you up in groups, either know your drivers license # or have it, for paperwork. The buggies were a blast to ride! You gotta follow the main guide but ours was fast n friendly n knowledgeable! Want to some kool spots; 3 steps, secret cave (not so secret), and a abandoned gold mine. All just awesome; you only get 10/15 minutes per location. Killer part was at the end when other guide asked us all in group to not forget to tip; bold n confidently for 20%; ticket for 2 was around $214- they wanted $40-$50. Im sure we weren't the only ones in group thinkn- WTH 🙊💩!!?? Anywho, just a heads up! Buckle up and have a blast! Dont forget to bring a spare kidney for tip. Be safe
James S — Google review
Three of us started making it a tradition to find high-quality (fast) karts when we do family trips. This one stood up to the challenge. It was fast enough to make you pay attention and the staff was great. Good pricing for the time on track. I forget the individual's name but had been working there for 6 months, very nice, made our experience enjoyable, and was great at giving tips to get around the track at speed. The lap tracking software apparently was not working so we did not get lap times, which is part of what we like, what is the point of competition if you don't have the stats to talk trash afterwards. Would almost take a star away for the lap information not working but we had such a good time and talked about our time on the track for hours after. We made another great memory for an unforgettable trip to Aruba.

This was such a fun experience for my family. My kids (8 and 10) had the time of their lives driving tandem with my husband and I. The turns are tight especially if you’re speeding but that’s exactly what makes it so fun. The staff is wonderful as well! They’re polite, funny, and extremely helpful along the way.

Nestled in a quiet downtown street, Aruba Experience Cafe - Patisserie is housed in a renovated old Aruban "cunucu" villa, exuding Dutch Caribbean charm. The cafe offers freshly baked delicacies and excellent barista-brewed coffee. With its beautiful decor featuring rattan furniture and tropical foliage, the cafe is a favorite brunch spot in Oranjestad.
This was a beautiful local place to enjoy the best authenticity Aruba has to offer! The atmosphere when you walk in is unexpected! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and had zero wait time to be seated. The service was better than most high end restaurants. We started off with two espresso’s and a Bellini mimosa that was super refreshing. We then tried two yuca arepas - one filled with pernil and cheese and the other with egg/ham/cheese - chefs kiss muaaah! We then ordered the I Am Loyal dish with a side of black beans and it was delicious. 8/10 for me, the eggs where just a little bit over cooked for my liking but it was flavorful! We ended the experience with a mint/ginger tea and it was so good! Highly recommend this place to anyone! We will be back for the croissants 🥐 tomorrow!!

Aruba Experience Café - Pâtisserie is an absolute gem! The environment and service were both outstanding — warm, welcoming, and full of charm. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it easy to find the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the island breeze. We tried a few of their drinks, and they were excellent — rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They also have a tempting menu of food items, but we had already eaten dinner, so we’ll definitely be back to try more next time. From the outside, the café looks pretty unassuming, but once you step inside, it’s a whole different experience — cozy, stylish, and full of character. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Oranjestad!

This spot feels like a hidden gem straight out of a travel magazine. Set inside a restored historic building with stone walls and vintage décor, Aruba Experience Café blends local charm with modern flair. We came for breakfast and loved every bite, the omelet was packed with flavor, the arepas were perfectly crispy, and the fresh cheese and plantains tied it all together. It’s the kind of place you could hang out for hour sipping coffee, soaking in the atmosphere, and feeling like you’re part of old Aruba.

Taco Bell

Fast food restaurant
Taco Bell is a popular fast-food chain known for its Mexican-inspired menu featuring tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. The restaurant offers clean and spacious seating with limited capacity due to physical distancing measures. Customers can expect substantial meat portions that are chunkier and more satisfying than typical fast-food options. The location also provides free Wi-Fi, charging stations, and quick service both inside the restaurant and at the drive-through. Additionally, Taco Bell offers online ordering via WhatsApp and delivery services.
This location is very clean.  There is still physical distancing with the tables, so seating capacity may be limited.  Most transactions are to go orders. As for the food itself,  it is similar to other locations with the major exception that the meat is much more substantial that what you get at a typical TacoBell. The meat is chunkier and not the gritty slurry you usually get.  A big plus.  Also the fiesta fries (Afl. 7.00) are a must order, with a medium cut. Five stars for the meat portion.
Philip Q — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give Taco Bell Aruba 10 stars, I absolutely would! I’ve been eating Taco Bell for over 60 years, and this location is hands-down the best one ever! No Taco Bell in the United States even comes close—especially when it comes to the size of the hard-shell tacos and the generous amount of condiments. Everything was fresh, perfectly made, and absolutely amazing! If you’re a Taco Bell fan, this is a must-visit spot in Aruba. I wish every location could be this good! Maybe they could come train American workers to have the same customer service smiles and attitude!! This was a refreshing experience!! I thank your staff and I will be back!!!

Taco Bell is situated at Sasaki or newly named Caya Nelson Oduber. They recently underwent a change in asthetic and I think it looks great. There is free wifi and charhing stations at the four high tables. Pretty quick service inside and even faster service at the drive through. Attentive staff and since the pandemic they take orders online (whatsapp). They also deliver. The food is as good as you would expect from a fast food chain restaurant. Whats really great about Taco Bell is their famous Fiesta fries that you receive when you upsize. Also available as a single order. Out of all of the fast foods chain restaurant Taco Bell is by far the most affordable. Always clean.

The food tastes great, however the staff charged us extra for sour cream and argued with us when they didn't add it (on the burrito or on the side..) Soooo. If you're asking the bare minimum, you might receive it, but anything else you'll likely get an argument and lose money to boot.

Red Fish Aruba

Seafood restaurant
Red Fish Aruba is a popular dining spot founded by local fisherman Herby Merryweather and guided by Chef Jiovanni Rangel. It's known for serving fresh steak-cut fish by the pound, shrimp and fish combo plates, keshi yena, sopi di jambo, and conch stew. Originally offering only deep-fried fish and shrimp, it has expanded its menu to meet locals' demands.
I went to Red Fish for dinner and was surprised by how romantic the restaurant was - dimly lit, a lovely breezy patio, and quiet place to have a delicious meal. The food was exceptional (they had three types of fresh fish that day - barracuda, snapper, and mahi mahi as well as shrimp) and it was cooked to perfection. It’s very affordable (about $20 USD per meal) and is great for large groups too. I noticed a number of families were enjoying a meal together here. Plus every single server we interacted with was incredibly friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place!

The fish was super fish and the service was excellent. You can definitely tell the spot is a local favorite. Conch fritters were outstanding. The only area for improvement would be the wine options. If you are in Aruba and you are craving fresh Great food, Red Fish is your spot.

Asked locals for a good seafood place and this place was highly recommended. I enjoyed my fish (red snapper) and passion fruit drink not pictured. The lobster and shrimp were decent but would not order that again. Definitely if you want a fresh catch of the day then this is is the place.

I had dinner here and it was an excellent experience. I ordered the red snapper and highly recommend it the flavor and seasoning were perfect. The service was great, and the overall vibe made the evening really enjoyable. Compared to some of the other restaurants on the island, the prices were very reasonable, which made it an even better find. I definitely recommend eating here if you’re in Aruba!

The Red Snapper and Mahi Mahi was delicious and 2 of us split the fish as seen in the photo. I preferred no head on my snapper so they didn't bring it out. Sushi restaurant
Nikkei Sushi Bar is a local gem located in Palm Beach at Cove Mall, offering an extensive sushi menu and a variety of Japanese and Peruvian dishes with a local twist for both lunch and dinner. Visitors have raved about the welcoming atmosphere, amazing food, and great service. The restaurant is known for its generous portions, delicious desserts like the ice cream roll with flavorful fruit combinations, and take-out options like the Disalmon roll.
Honestly this is truly a local hidden gem. One of the residents of Aruba mentioned that he loved eating here so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The menu is far more expansive than what’s online. The rolls are very creative. Far more than what we have in Houston, TX. Would highly recommend trying this establishment.
Jared V — Google review
I’ve always enjoyed dining at Nikkei because the portions are usually generous, and the quality of the food is excellent. However, today I decided to order takeout, trusting that same experience, and I was deeply disappointed. When I got home, I found an unexpectedly small portion of rice, very different from what I’ve come to expect based on the in-restaurant servings. I’m shocked and disappointed. I believe they should be clearer about portion differences to avoid misunderstandings in the future.

Best Sushi on the island. Prices are a little high but the food quality is great.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable. My husband even accidentally left his phone on the table and a staff member ran after him to ensure he did not lose his phone. We had a wonderful experience. The only reason the atmosphere did not receive five stars is because the air conditioning was not working that will and it was a bit warm for us to sit in there. I highly recommend this fantastic little sushi bar!
Emily M — Google review
We got the the restaurant and it wasn't busy inside. A lot of take out orders, but just 1 other table. We were seated and ordered our meals. We wanted a quick bite and we were not disappointed. My California roll and my boyfriend's raw eel came out a few minutes later. There was some kind of misunderstanding and his Alaska roll wasn't sent out, but after we informed them it was made and placed on the table in under a minute. We enjoyed our meal and were very happy with the speedy service. I loved the tiki glasses they have. Safe to say, we will be going back soon.
Sharlaine T — Google review
First and last time. I don’t understand all these reviews, it feels like they are paid. We came because of the reviews & left really unpleased and disappointed . The miso soup was nothing compared to a miso soup. Sushi’s are miniature. Ramen was terrible. The ‘fresh’ juices are just concentrated box juices. While sitting at the restaurant we could hear the discussions of employees and it seemed like everyone was new there. No insight into the specials and no costumer service whatsoever. We left hungry and paid a lot of money.
Zoary P — Google review
Simple and modern interior, private room option available. Menu is contemporary with some traditional rolls and then there are some rolls with some interesting Caribbean flair. Take out and delivery is an option. Latest update, new location. Trendy interior, feels smaller. Food, service and ambience top notch. Outside seating available.

Donkey Sanctuary Aruba, established in 1997, is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for over 130 injured and mistreated donkeys on the island. These animals were once used as primary transportation but are now provided with a safe haven where they receive nurturing and rehabilitation. Visitors have the opportunity to participate in feeding and caring for the donkeys or simply observe them while enjoying refreshments on the covered porch.
Very fun experience visiting and feeding the animals. We saw the donkeys, peacocks and chickens all gathering around for food. The donkeys were gentle and never bit us even when hand feeding. Only 3 dollars for a large bag of feed or 1 for a small so its budget friendly. Otherwise its free to come and explore and see the creatures.
Zachariah W — Google review
We absolutely loved the donkey sanctuary. It’s a little hidden but there are signs that lead to the sanctuary. Watch your steps as you might step in poop. They are a super friendly staff and very easy going. You can purchase feed there for a small amount of money or you can bring your own carrots and feed the donkeys. They have kittens available for adoption as well. Bathrooms have toilet and running water with soap to wash your hands after feeding. The donkeys are very sweet and friendly and will let you pet them. They do a really good job with these animals. I recommend checking it out!
Brian B — Google review
You can park and walk in through the donkey pin to the visitor center where there are toilets, a gift shop, a place to sit and little buckets of food you can buy to feed the donkeys. The food is $1 for a small scoop and $3 for a bigger scoop. When feeding the donkeys you stay behind a barrier for your safety, but otherwise you can walk around and check them out up close. My kid got to hug one. We also enjoyed the peafowl and kitties. They have cats for adoption.

I fell in love with the donkeys. Most are so well behaved. They are hysterical trying to get your attention. They "smile", they have the cutest expressions on there faces as they tilt their heads. Most are incredibly gentle when taking the food from you. They have "pellet" food to buy $3 USD for a large & $1 USD for a small. They have a gift shop also where i bought stickers & a T shirt. All money helps support the sanctuary. I also brought a bag of apples that a cut up & fed to the donkeys. The donkeys really enjoy apples & carrots. Overall I had a great time and would do it again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit in Aruba! The Donkey Sanctuary is such a special place, especially for families with kids. You can meet, pet, and feed the sweetest rescued donkeys — many of them have been saved by the kind volunteers after being injured or abandoned. The care and love these animals receive is truly heartwarming. We brought apples, bananas, and even dragon fruit from our hotel breakfast, and the donkeys loved every bite! It’s such a fun, hands-on experience and a great way to support an important cause. The volunteers are friendly, informative, and clearly dedicated to giving these animals a better life. If you’re in Aruba, take an hour or two to visit — you’ll leave smiling and feeling good about making a difference. Highly recommend!❤️🫏

What a great place to feed the goats and the peacocks. The feeds were super affordable at $3 a bucket and you do get a lot of feeds in the bucket. We did buy the feeds bucket and also did bring some carrots for them to eat as well. The goats and peacocks did come to eat. I got a video of the rooster jump on the feed buckets for sale to eat, which was entertaining to watch.

This place is a gem! It is so relaxed and delightful. The donkeys are lovely and gentle. They’re so happy if you bring carrots to feed them! (Fred them only from the porch, so they don’t swarm you outside!) There are peacocks and roosters roaming around, and lots of kittens! You can visit anytime during opening hours and hang out with the donkeys as you wish, no formal tours or time slots needed. It’s totally free to visit as well! Definitely the most relaxed animal encounter I’ve ever been to, with donkeys that seem very happy and healthy. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in Aruba!

Great place to visit. Extremely unique experience that is entirely based on the honor system for feeding the donkeys to donations. Very peaceful and have a wonderful opportunity to feel connected to the animals there.

Kukoo Kunuku

Tour agency
Kukoo Kunuku is a lively party bus that takes guests on a unique adventure through the city streets and countryside of Aruba, offering an unforgettable Caribbean party experience. With music, maracas, and a full-service bar on board, the 'party on wheels' visits various bars, clubs, and watering holes while welcoming guests from around the world (minimum age 18).
Dinner and Nightlife tour was a blast! We had a group of eight “Young-At-Heart” seniors that booked this tour after our original plans fell through. We are not typical “party bus” people, so were skeptical. From the onset, our driver and tour leader set the stage with their friendly and fun personalities that we were going to let loose and HAVE FUN. And we did! The bus comes outfitted with maracas to shake to fun music as we sang along to really fun songs. The champagne toast on the beach was nice, the tour of the distillery was interesting and included tasting some yummy rums. Dinner was at an upscale outdoor restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. We enjoyed getting to know others on the bus. The last stop at the oldest bar on the island was the most fun and we lit up the dance floor and even took part in the Limbo contest. The tour was very well organized and executed. I realized the next day that my wallet fell out of my purse on the bus. We were already off the island. I called, someone ran out and checked the bus and they were kind enough to ship my wallet back to me in the US with the cash, credit card and drivers license fully in tact. We highly recommend this tour!

The Kukoo Kunuku Bus tour was so fun. We were given colored wristband which was good, because that helped the tour guide know which bus group we were on. It was a blast. Our tour guide was Smooth. He has awesome high fun energy. We had high fun music playing while shaking our Maracas throughout the town. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture. He stopped at the California Lighthouse, Alto Vista Chapel for about 10 minutes. Beautiful historical landmarks. The was a beautiful view of the beach from the California Lighthouse. He was very patient and he answered our questions. As we toured the town showed us some beautiful homes , hotels , businesses , we saw a beautiful beach and lots of cactus. He also said be on the lookout for a blue lizard. Which I saw . Pretty cool. He helped people get off and on the bus . There was a step stool to assist. It is safe to step backwards off the bus, while holding the handrail. Our last stop was the Surfside Beach. He dropped us off there for 2 and half hours. That beach was nice it has coral reefs and a restaurant with bathrooms . You can sit back and watch the airplanes fly over head coming in for landing. The planes come so low you can wave to passengers and see the wheels come out . Fun experience. The bus was fun, I enjoy reading all the saying on the bus. It was a fun vibe with the locals, they waved back or danced. That tells me they are use to it. Waving maracas outside the bus was hilarious. Thank you so much.

We’ve done this two years in a row and both times were great! We were able to experience new bars during both trips so it wasn’t the same each time. You get a free shot at each venue as well as a shot when you get on the bus. Great crew, Leslie and Cassandra were awesome!! Hope to party again in the future! Definitely recommend bringing a snack to soak up some liquor throughout the night if you’re a bit of a lightweight (I know I am).

Such a great time! The bus picked us up right at the hotel with the lights on and music playing. We were greeted with smiles and a sippy cup full of booze. We boarded the bus and the party started! We stopped at a few other hotels to pick up passengers before heading to our first bar. The music blasted and we shook maracas the whole time. Everyone we passed on the streets stopped and danced with us. The host and driver were terrific!!!! They sang and danced with us! The local bars had great drinks, great service and great music. Our group partied with the other groups and by the end of the night, we were all on giant group. I would definitely recommend this tour. *Tip: tell them if you’re celebrating something and they’ll make it extra special. We’re were celebrating a birthday and they wrote a “happy birthday” note on the side of the bus!*

We had an absolute blast on the Kukoo Kunuku party bus! Our driver J Smooth and host Sexy kept the energy high all night — hilarious, engaging, and so much fun. The music, dancing, shots, and party vibes made it feel like a wild night out with friends... even though we all started as strangers 😄 100 out of 10 experience. A must-do in Aruba if you're ready to let loose and have a good time!

Shout out to Alexandra & Candy!! We did the triple buzz tour last Sunday. It was an awesome way to celebrate our anniversary & to spend our last night on the island (until the next time 🤣). It was a great tour with 3 awesome stops. Great music, great people & a lot of fun!!! We did the pub crawl 8 years ago & the experience was as awesome as we remembered from that night.

This review is super late, but I could not forget about writing it. I visited Aruba for the 1st time March 7-11 for my 40th birthday group trip. I absolutely had the time of my life. I’ve never had this much fun on a vacation. Our group did the UTV tour with private tour guide just for our group. EA was our guide for the day, and boy did he do an amazing job! From the time he picked us up to the time we were dropped off at our air bnb he was 1000% perfect! This man is fun and funny, but also intelligent and professional. He was sooooooo accommodating to my group and I. He always put safety first, so at no time did we ever worry about being safe. He was completely knowledgeable about all of the stops we made and I learned so much about Aruba and the origins of the island. This was my favorite part of the whole trip and I loved every second of the tour! Please share with EA how awesome he is and thanks from the bottom of my heart for making my 40th birthday the best birthday ever! PS, I will definitely be back and I want to do this tour again with EA as the guide! Absolutely amazing!!!

Jordan was an amazing tour guide! I highly recommend booking this tour we had an amazing time. The bus picked us up from the resort and brought us back. Jordan was so helpful and informative and explained the history behind each stop we made. It was definitely an off road adventure and we had a blast in the UTV. Such a fun way to explore Aruba.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the ATVs in Aruba. Our guide (Dave) was amazing, the tour itself was one of the best I've done on an island. Would definitely recommend it to others. This was our only excursion during our trip, and Dave made it memorable and a great choice for our stay.

Super awesome experience that is worth every penny! First time ATV rider. Our tour guides Brandon and Angelo were knowledgeable, informative, and funny-they were a vibe. The destinations were all fun and beautiful. Highly recommended! Ask for Brandon as your guide!

Had a wonderful time on our tour. The end of the week we asked the teenage girls what their favorite part of our Aruba trip was. They both agreed it was the ATV tour. It is bumpy. Very bumpy. Dress appropriately as it's out in the desert part of Aruba..very arid and dry. They did have water for it which was awesome.
Brandon H — Google review
Hands down one of the funniest off road tours I’ve ever been on. In another country I once took an ATV tour and was told to not leave 2nd gear and stay below 25mph. NOT THIS TOUR! Our guide “E.A” made sure to let us know before we began that we needed to drive the hell out of our vehicles if we wanted to make it back to camp! Our tour showed me so much of the island I hadn’t seen during my last trip. Seeing the first church in Aruba, to visiting the Lagoons and jumping off cliffs into ocean waters. A bonus was being able to drive these machines through what seemed to be a monsoon. We felt safe the entire time. EA was super entertaining and he cared for the safety of his guests. As a bonus the base camp is set up at a small animal sanctuary so while waiting for the tour to start, the little get to experience this small scale zoo!
Daniel J — Google review
We loved this tour! The shuttle arrived on time and we were quickly delivered to our starting point. We had great time feeding the animals at the zoo. After a few instructions on how the UTV tour works and what to expect, we were off. June & Tony navigated our group along the coast to several top destinations. We loved the cliff jumping in the cave pool!!! I would highly recommend!!! Totally worth the cost for a 4 hour excursion.

Aruba surf and paddle school

Sports activity location
Aruba Surf & Paddle School is a top choice for stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and surfing lessons, catering to all ages and skill levels. The school offers rentals of high-quality paddleboarding equipment, private paddleboarding parties, and even SUP YOGA sessions. With over 20 years of experience, the certified instructors create a fun and interactive environment for their lessons. Additionally, they offer surfing tours that include transportation, equipment, refreshments, and a mini island tour.
The first time we tried paddle boarding, we just rented the paddle boards and went out on our own with no idea what we were doing. I am so glad we went with a tour guide this time who taught us the right form and how to do it correctly. Dennis gave us a great tutorial before we started and guided us along the way. He was very easygoing and we enjoyed his company so much that we ended up having lunch with him after. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend him for SUP and we plan to take his surf lessons next time we’re in Aruba. Thanks for making our anniversary extra special! We’ll be seeing you again Dennis!

We had a great time on the paddle boarding tour through the mangroves! Dennis gave us a detailed clinic before starting off and offered technique suggestions throughout. I had never paddle boarded before and it was a great first experience. The pictures he provided afterward were a really nice touch as well. Due to the wind on our originally scheduled day Dennis was able to move our tour to another day on our trip with better weather. He was communicative and professional throughout the whole experience.

Dennis is amazing! We went surfing for one day and snorkelling another day. Surfing was super fun, Dennis was very patient and made sure we had the perfect wave. Snorkelling and swimming with turtles was epic! Turtles are super friendly and Dennis captured one of the best moments of our life :)

This experience was by far my favorite activity done during our trip to Aruba! Dennis was so professional, nice, and hospitable! He checked in with us leading up to the day of, keeping us updated on weather conditions so we could make the most out of the right beach. The lessons were simple and I really appreciated the safety information he provided. I felt like a pro after a few attempts! Seriously, he breaks it down very simple for anyone to understand. It was an amazing experience that now makes me want to have more opportunities to use my new skills! I definitely recommend Dennis for anyone who is looking to have an adventure, try something new, and take in the beauty of Aruba!

Cannot say enough good things about Dennis. He took our 2 grownup children that had never surfed before and had them up within minutes. He took our other child that had surfed before and helped him improve all his technique. That had a wonderful day and the GoPro videos he sent of them will be memories they can show their own children one day.

Dennis is a true gent first and foremost. He is also an excellent teacher, clear instructions and most of all patience. We paddle boarded nearly 5km along the mangroves, it was beautiful, well the moments between the faceplants were beautiful. He's a great guy also, swapped many stories of our travels. Really enjoyable way to spend half a day in aruba

Our experience with Dennis was the highlight of our trip to Aruba! His dedication to providing top notch service was evident as he not only offered excellent surfing and snorkeling sessions but also took care of transportation and provided the necessary equipment. Beyond his professional skills, Dennis' kindness and generosity added a personal touch that made the adventure even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Aruba Surf and Paddle School for a fantastic and memorable island exploration!

Stellaris Casino is one of the largest casinos on the island, operating 24/7 and offering a wide range of entertainment. With 500 modern interactive slots and 26 tables featuring popular games like craps, roulette, poker, and blackjack, there's something for everyone. The casino also boasts a state-of-the-art race and sports betting operation. Visitors can join the VIP Club program to earn points, comps, and prizes.
A live band on Friday night made for a fun atmosphere. The table games got full around 9pm but you could still play with a short wait. Great bartenders made great drinks at the bar right in the middle of the casino. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Make sure you track your points and get in writing as well from host about using your comps. They have every excuse to not let you use your points for food and beverage, like it’s coming out their paycheck. It’s not worth the gambling. The crap tables opens late and closes early but they complain you don’t bet enough. I’ve see other comments also saying about the machine changing bets. I also feel that happened to me as well.
Tabitha H — Google review
The nicest casino on the island IMHO. It is bigger than some, but still not as big as most casinos in the US. Nice selection of slots with variable denominations. There is also a bar with quarter video poker machines. About 10-12 gaming tables I would say. BJ, let it ride, 3 card poker, roulette. The card tables don’t open until dinner time. I saw $10 minimum on BJ and three card poker. For all of the times that we have been here I have NEVER seen them hand pay a jackpot….not a good sign. MUCH BETTER since they made it no smoking. They do not allow photography but they let me keep one!

Once again Aruba did not disappoint. There is something unsettling going on with the ATM machines that you need to research before you go. My favorite people are all still working at the stellaris, Jeffery Cores is always so helpful and makes sure to find us and check on our needs. Rossinny and Visia are very friendly and helpful. They both stop and talk to us whenever we are there. These three are people that we consider friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Raymond, he worked at the VIP desk. I will be adding him to my list of friends. He was always friendly and helpful. He answered my questions and explained things so that it was easy to understand. I enjoyed meeting him. Frankie the beverage server always remember me and is always friendly. The big boss Ben stopped by to chat with us and shared a picture of his little girl’s graduation from kindergarten. I really appreciate how thoughtful and friendly the employees are and how they make our vacation such a wonderful experience. We also had a chance to meet Jeffery’s wife and daughter. It makes you feel like you are a part of their family when the employees don’t mind introducing you to their family. I’ll always love my home away from home. See you next year ❤️

Do not play craps here. Some of the most bogus house rules you will ever find. 15 dollar game. Must bet 5 dollar hard ways, must bet 15 odds nothing short of it, can’t set dice, don’t hold the dice for more than 2 secs before someone says something. Some of the worst odds offerings on the island as well. Hard pass and they’re probably wondering why that bs table is dead most the week. Terrible

Restaurant
On The Rocks Cafe is a popular spot in downtown Oranjestad on Adriaan Lacle Blvd, offering a diverse menu of shareable snacks, wings, burgers, wraps, pinchos, salads and more for lunch and dinner. Visitors rave about the delicious burgers like the egg-topped bacon cheeseburger and the funchi fries. The cafe also offers a great selection of beers and vegetarian options. Guests can enjoy live music from local bands while dining with family or friends.
We came to On the Rocks the first night of our vacation based on a recommendation from my cousin who is a local. We sat inside, it was clean and the ac was cool. We ordered the Magic Mushroom Burger, OTR Burger, Wild Child Burger, and a Saco, plus sides of patatas bravas, funchi fries, and truffle fries (since the burgers don’t come with sides). The burgers were all delicious—fresh, flavorful, and not typical frozen patties. They are a little on the smaller side, but they were very satisfying. I didn’t even get a picture of them because we were too hungry to wait! The real standout was the Saco. It came packed with food—deep-fried ribs, chicken, plantains, potatoes, and a Johnny cake—all served with a garlicky mayo for dipping. The ribs especially were full of flavor, like they’d been marinated before frying. The funchi fries were perfectly crispy. The patatas bravas were a favorite—the sauce was so good we ended up dipping everything in it. The only miss of the meal was the truffle fries. The truffle flavor was way too overpowering—the whole table stunk of it which grossed us out. Price-wise, it’s decent. The burgers are around $15–16, but since they don’t come with sides, you’ll probably want to order one (most are $6+). That said, the portion sizes for the sides are generous and easily shareable between two people. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the location is convenient. Overall, it was a great first-night meal, and I’d definitely go back.

We’ve hit on the rocks 2 nights in a row. First night was for the hamburgers (which were delicious), but what brought us back the next night was our server Zion. The second visit I had the lobster Mac and lobster roll! Both were fantastic! If you do decide to try this place, ask to sit in Zions section! He is knowledgeable, kind, attentive and just made the dining experience pleasant. Cheers Zion!

This was a spur of the moment choice. We originally planned to eat at Sexy Shrimp but they sold out for the day so we walked the area to see what other options we had. Stumbled upon On the Rocks Craft Kitchen and couldn't have been happier with the choice. We both had burgers but first shared a caesar salad with house made croutons...so yummy!! My husband was feeling munchy (lol) so we also had Sticky Bourbon Ribs and fries 🤦🏽‍♀️. All the way around very happy with our food and made for such yummy leftovers the next day too! (Thank heavens for the hotels with fridges & microwaves in room)

I’ve been in Aruba for a week and this is hands down the best dining experience I’ve had, and there have been many good ones! Sophie was our server, and she was amazing with my wife and myself, so sweet and helpful with what was good on the menu! Her great service was honestly the topic of our conversation a few times. I had the Monopoly wings which were a truffle sensation, and my wife had the chicken sate, and I tried it too and it was incredible. We ended the night with their mocha espresso martini which Sophie recommended, and it brought a delicious espresso martini to a whole different level, the drink was fantastic and topped with a thick delicious cream and chocolate shavings. We would recommend this place as a 10/10 while staying in Aruba!!

Great burgers!! My husband loved the wings too! Just be mindful that they will charge you $4 additional to swap to a Beyond Burger patty (even though it doesn’t say it anywhere on the menu)!

Café 080 is a popular Dutch restaurant in the lively Noord district of Aruba. The cafe's laid-back atmosphere and great value local dishes make it a favorite spot among locals and tourists alike. Specialties like kroket (deep fried beef croquettes), fricandel (sausage specialty) and patat (fresh cut fries) are combined with Heineken for a totally satisfying meal.
This was such a favorite with my family that we returned here on our second family trip, and then proceeded to return here again two days later! My teenagers opted for “no fancy dinner on the water, let’s just go take beach pictures at sunset and go back to 080!” We didn’t argue with that because the service, the patio seating, the food - what a hidden gem in Aruba!

The drinks and appetizer were the highlight of our meal at this Dutch resturant&bar. I got the mojito and all the ingredients tasted fresh and priced for only $8 USD. The calamari rings had higher meat to breading ratio which is always appreciated. Our meal wasn’t incredible but wasn’t bad. I got the beef tips with mushroom sauce, fries, and coleslaw. The beef was very plain and although the mushrooms were delicious, I only got two very small mushrooms. Cute outdoor bar and seating.

Took a trip from De Palm tours bus and we stopped by here for lunch. I got a cheeseburger lunch with fries and coleslaw. I cut it open to see the inside of the burger, cooked well, pickles and onions and lettuce, no tomato (which I like). This burger is a good quality burger and well worth ordering. Very tasty and does satisfy your hunger, can’t go wrong with a cheeseburger. Fries are oven cooked, not as fresh and hot but still warm and have some crisp. I love the coleslaw that I would like extra, it’s too good for a small cup. The waitresses took our order, a little slow but there was a lot of people in the bus so I did expect delays, but it took forever for her to bring hot sauce and napkins that a different waitress had to bring it to us. I tried the chicken wings, don’t get them, they are very dry unless you pour a lot of hot sauce on them. Overall the food quality is good for a lunch stop from the bus. The service was good but could be better for future reference. But it was good for the tour bus stop.

During a De Palm tour, we stopped at this restaurant in the middle of the island. I ordered a BBQ dish, while my girlfriend had a hamburger. They are quite simple dishes, but good enough for a tour stop.

This place has his pizza no doubt. But it's not your trendy tourist spot for sure. It's 'country' but it's good. If there was one thing that I would improve, is that the waitress took forever and literally diapered. Could be a bit more attentive to the guests. But the pizza and wings are good.

Delicious pizza with fresh ingredients. Our regular stop after a day visiting Parke Arikok. Service sometimes takes a very long time after you order, even when it's not busy. The location needs some maintenance. Otherwise, it's a great location and friendly service.

Love the pizza and wings. Ceaser salad wasn't that good. No crunchy lettuce and they use dark meat chicken

The food is good and a different concept on the island, grilled food at a good price. But the service is not good as the food. For orders made by phone is not ready after arriving at the time they said it will be ready. Needs to improve the service if they want more stars on the review. For the food taste i will recommend, but they need to be faster with the service!

Service way to slow. At the moment we were there, there was only 3 tables occupied. They are not pending if you need something. They served us French fries without salt on it, what is good because not everyone want/can eat salt. But there isn't salt on the table nor do they offer you salt. Not even a dip/sauce for the fries. Not even the basic ketchup or mayonnaise. You could already taste the cold oil they fried the fries in it on arrival. Not even napkins on the table nor water. The $51 NOT well spend on 1 chicken sandwich with fries, 1 shrimp loaded fries, plantains with cheese and 2 glass of pink moscato. Will definitely not return. Even though the place itself is cosy. I can't imagine when the place is full, service would be even worse. 1 star for the cosy place. Not recommended and I'm a local. Was not even worthy take pics of what we eat.
