We enjoyed a lot to visit this waterfall because the access is very easy and it's free or charge. The water is cold, but the experience totally worth it. Just enjoy the exotic, luxurious forrest.
Worth a stop if you're in the area. Small waterfall with a calm pool in which you can cool off. The path from the carpark is short (200m), flat and paved. There's an official picnic area directly across the road from the car park. The car park is too small for such a popular attraction, but as most people only stay for 10 minutes there is plenty of turnover.
Free parking, short walk, lovely view, nice place to bathe. There is a lovely hidden paradise BEHIND the waterfall.
5min walk from parking. drive to/from is a movie. swimming possible! we went around 330 and sun was in line with the river. beautiful.
Nice nature and there's a small basin to swim in. Not really a lot to see tho. Got my socks wet so i was a bit annoyed.
Nice waterfalls. Not crowded and a nice walkway to the upper waterfall. Make sure to also go across the road and walk a bit downstream. There is a very nice picnic area there, if you continue a bit further there is another waterfall and the river opens up. As a note: You are not allowed to swim in the waterfall.
We thought we were there early (9.30 on a Sunday morning) but the place was still overwhelmed with bus tour groups! A shame, as the flora are amazing. There is more space and peace on the opposite side of the road (near the picnic area)
Beautiful little waterfall close to the road and the gift shop is awesome! Fun to walk in the river and make Little Rock formations. Gift shop owners could not do foreign credit cards. Only local ones and cash. They were willing to accept American dollars as well.

Impressive waterfall which originates in the volcano, the trail is very well equipped and only 20 minutes walk from the parking lot is necessary to observe the waterfall. the staff at the entrance is very welcoming and very kind. the maracuja crepe was excellent is prepared with local products
This was a must-not miss stop while in Guadeloupe! It's a WILD ride getting up to the parking lot from the main road (and prob 20-30 min) - the road is narrow, esp when tour buses are passing so it's not for the faint of heart! Parking is along the street once you reach the top, so be ready to start your walk upon arrival! The small admission fee is worth the price for how well maintained the pathway is. It's a 15-20 minute walk to access the falls - the stones, stairs and walkways can be slick so definitely have sneakers or real shoes on! You cannot swim here but the walk through the greenery of the rainforest is gorgeous and the view at the end of the waterfall is spectacular and worth the walk! There are steep sections of this walk and while paved, still a bit tricky for little ones or seniors (many of whom we saw struggling).....For anyone who cannot make the walk, once you pay your admission and walk 1-2 minutes, there is a gorgeous view where you can sit on the wall and see not one, but TWO of the falls!
Interesting and demanding hiking trail. Beautiful views at the top. Don't forget good hiking shoes.
The view is fabulous, the waterfall is awesome. The route is good signaled and the path through the jungle is easy to follow with good descriptions from the car park to the waterfall.
Good hike, relatively well managed trail. Just make sure you wear proper footwear. The trail gets muddy and slippery when it rains. The trail does end abruptly due to a landslide. You can go below the fence and climb down and get closer to the waterfall though but at your own risk.
It's no longer free. They now charge over 5 euro per person. They have a family pass for 7 euro, covering two adults and two children but they won't sell it to two adults without children. Furthermore, they've closed the other, free, trails in the park, that lead to smaller waterfalls, so if you drive up here the only choice is the trail they charge for. This is all new, and not posted at the bottom of the road you drive up. The 2021 lonely planet guide says the waterfall is free, like all other national park attractions. I don't support this cartel.
Absolutely amazing, a must see when you come to gwada!
Lovely walk to the falls. The arrival to the viewpoint is rather dissapointing being so far off from the chute. I guess many tourists expect that there is a possibility to get closer to the falls. There are several trails around the falls and going up on the left hand side trail to the refuge you can catch a glimpse of the falls from above. All in all, a nice break from the beaches for any tourist spending a week or so on the island
