I'm still in awe of this beautiful relaxing and peaceful lake. The views are calming, they have different seating areas, they have a playground, place to do bbq if you like, also they have a little cafe that sells coffee and icecream. I loved this area. The videos will show you what I'm talking about.
Beautiful spot for a walk around the lake. It took us about an hour with three kids in tow (one in pram). It's reasonably pram friendly, however, be mindful of extremely steep hills! There's a couple of them. The playground is fully fenced, which is a massive bonus!
Stunning lake. Great walking tracks. Well kept areas. But the little coffee place is terrible. The wait was ridiculous and I wouldn't think you could muck up making a peppermint tea.
Beautiful spot fot a day trip. So serene... so beautiful. The walk around the lake is full of tranquility. A must-go-to spot... be it summer, winter, spring or autumn... as each season this place has it own different beauty.
Within walking distance of town, Lake Daylesford is a man-made lake that was built in the 1930’s. On arrival, early in the morning, a mist was rising from the water. The picturesque lake offers a ‘peace mile’ walking track which is almost 3 k’s long. There is also plenty to do here, swimming, fishing and birdwatching. There is a playground, paddleboats (but I don’t think they have seen much action for a while) BBQ’s and table and chairs. Food, coffee and comfort facilities onsite too. Well worth a visit if you are in town
Nice, calm, and peaceful scenery 😌 Guards your food. The ducks in the lake can be naughty! 👀 I visited on a Monday summer night with friends around 4.30ish. There were only us on the deck. It was perfect day to chill. Lovely place.
One of the most popular and photogenic place in Daylesford. This place is stunning 😍 in Autumn 🍂 with the beautiful colours. Perfect place to spend a day and relax.
Such a beautiful place.. Visited in April so go to see beautiful fall colours.. driving from Melbourne to Daylesford is so scenic and beautiful. This place is very calm, peaceful and scenic. A good walk..not difficult at all.. nice place to spend time with family.. Public toilets are available. Coffee and basic snack places are available too.

The mills is gorgeous. Being in Daylesford - that's kind of a given. BUT this is more than that. It's beauty lies in the wonders of every corner, the staff that are so kind and attentive, the fact that I beelined to a random spot with no thought and found the most incredible book I had been looking for since I was a child... I love this place.
One day is not enough to see it all. Wow . I totally love it. There's a café where you can take a break and a bite. The staff are wonderful, happy and friendly. A big shout out to Kathy who was The Cherry On Top. Thank you so very much. Totally appreciated .. You. Your kindness meant so much in a world full of grumpy service. 🎉🎖🎉🏆
If you’re heading to Daylesford and think you’ll just “pop in” to the Mill Market—think again. I had to physically usher my mum and sister out after hours of wandering, because we could’ve happily spent the whole day there. This place is a treasure trove. Yes, the vintage wares are incredible—retro furniture, vinyl records, quirky knick-knacks—but it’s not just a nostalgia fest. There’s modern giftware, a garden section with charming outdoor pieces, and even a cozy little café for when your legs give out from browsing. There are toilets on site. One moment I was admiring vintage crystal ware, the next I was face-to-face with a shelf of ventriloquist dolls that were equal parts fascinating and creepy. (Seriously, they looked like they had stories to tell—and not all of them wholesome.) Whether you’re a collector, a curious wanderer, or just someone who loves a good rummage, the Mill Market is a must. Just be warned: time disappears in there.
The Amazing Mill Markets in Daylesford is a treasure trove of vintage and antique goodies, spread over 6 acres with 300+ car spaces. Discover unique items, retro fashion, collectibles and more at this massive indoor market, open daily from 10am-6pm, with an onsite cafe to refuel"
This second-hand market is absolutely incredible — probably the largest in all of Victoria, even bigger than the one in Geelong! 🏺 Every section is so well organized, and you can easily spend an entire day wandering around discovering treasures. From antique furniture and vintage clothes to rare collectibles, there’s just so much to explore. The atmosphere is relaxed yet full of life, with friendly stall owners and lots of hidden gems waiting to be found. Whether you’re a serious collector or just love browsing unique finds, this place is an absolute must-visit when you come to Daylesford. Trust me, you won’t leave empty-handed — or disappointed!
A friend told me that he wanted to get a few items from here - going there today showed me why he loves it! Anything and everything you want is here - whether your a Record Collector to a Coin collector! Books, clothes, old collectables - you can find so many thing's. Half a day for only around 1/4 of the shop showed that a longer time would be needed next time! A very interesting find!
Full of many treasurers . Lots of books, furniture, bric a brac , anything you can imagine. Great outdoor garden nursery full of plants and other surprises.
Fabulous with so many things to look at. Also great friendly cafe and great coffee and scones 😊

Beautiful gardens! This is a lovely, quiet, serene place to walk or sit. I was disappointed that what looked like a lake on the map turned out to be a covered reservoir. However, to make up for that disappointment is the fact that the stairs to the lookout tower were not locked! Definitely worth a trip to the gardens for the beautiful landscaping, but don't miss the views from the tower. Great photo app for the surrounding area!
Beautiful gardens. Recommend to take the scenic drive around the property first. Signs are located as soon as you drive in. It will bring you up to a carpark. Perfect place to take in the views, have a picnic, or short stroll to the wonderful cafe. Allow yourself a few hours or plan the day. Public Toilets are available. Beautiful walking trails amongst the trees, gorgeous unique flowers. Highly recommend the cafe for a bite and coffee.
Lovely little walk with magnificent trees and flowers along the way to a yummy cafe which located on the grounds. My son loves to climb the tower and taking photos of almost every tree there. We are visiting this place several times a year at different seasons of school holidays.
"Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens is a beautiful and peaceful oasis in Daylesford. The gardens are immaculately maintained, with lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and stunning views over the town. The walk to the top of the hill offers panoramic vistas, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. The historical significance of the gardens adds to the charm, and the on-site café is a great place to grab a coffee while soaking in the surroundings. Whether you're a nature lover or just looking for a relaxing day out, Wombat Hill is definitely worth a visit!"
If you in Daylesford, go and see this little botanic garden. A little bit neglected but just in the right way to make your mind wander... Go on a quiet evening and watch the sunset or marvel at some of the big feature trees. Don't forget to walk through the fernery below the car park...
Absolutely gorgeous! Just go! But goneatly if you want a coffee, cafe closes not long after lunch.
Lovely garden, you have to go all the way around on the scenic route to get to the carpark, from there its a small loop walk, that takes you around the reservoir to the cafe. Cafe staff can be a bit rude near their closing time 😁. Tower was closed for some works when we visited this time but the views from the top are amazing
Great place for a picnic and relaxing time since it’s not as busy as lake Daylesford. Follow scenic drive to the parking lot. There’s a tower at the end of the road and we can go up the tower. The garden is not very big but peaceful. Cafe and toilets are available.

My husband and I had our anniversary lunch here on Sunday, It really did exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious, the team and the care they provided was outstanding. We were welcomed by Bern at the cellar door, and well looked after in the restaurant by Andrew and the rest of the team. Their knowledge and attention to detail really sets this place apart. A must visit! Thank you for making our day special.
Very pretty location. We did the classic tasting and enjoyed all the wines. We meet the wine dog whom is very friendly. Lots of spaces you can sit and enjoy the winey, Take some snacks with ya and buy a bottle of their wine.
Food is delicious - but the $75 per person 3 course meal is not worth it! Me and my wife booked in the 3 course meal for $75 per person expecting to be taken through the seasonal produce they proudly offer. We were served delicious food, but it was all from the menu that we added up to $138 in total plus a garden salad. We paid $150 for the two of us, expecting at least $150 or more worth of food. If we bought all the items we were served, we would have paid less? That didn’t make sense to us. None of the dishes were presented in a way to make it appealing either. It was just average service. We won’t be coming back unfortunately.
Food was absolutely delicious, we had the $100 wine tasting with the 3 course meal and it did not disappoint. 7 different wines all of which our lovely waiter Jemima described in detail, would definitely come back and purchase the wine we sampled! Overall a great experience and service was exceptional.
Have had their meals here quite a few times now. Always have to book. But it's worth it! It's a 3 course set menu. You can choose for them to match the wines or you can order your own. Either way it's a truly delicious meal. Never walked away unhappy. It's a We stopped on the way home from Hepburn Springs. A lovely little winery, you can book in for a three course meal ahead of time but we just stopped for some tastings. Tastings cost or you can buy a bottle of their lovely wines instead. I've been a couple of times and always walked away with a couple bottles of wine. The outdoor area is beautifully designed and is a great spot in lovely weather to look out over while sipping wine. Stopped here again! Bought more delicious wine. Never fails to impress and not far from Melbourne. More wine in the car.
Absolutely loved this winery! Haven’t found one this good in the region, highly recommend!!!
Passing Clouds Winery Lunch Experience Exceptional Winery Setting Undermined by Logistical Failures and some modest food portions. We booked a 1:15 PM lunch reservation for a pax of seven, understanding the conditions of the pre-booked, three-course set menu and the strict 15-minute window for table retention. While the tasting room staff were courteous and offered a sparkling beverage upon our arrival understandably we couldn’t sit in the restaurant, , the restaurant service that followed was an unacceptable disappointment, ultimately letting the beautiful Passing Clouds winery down. Significant Timing Discrepancy Despite the stringent 15-minute late policy imposed on guests, we were not seated until well over an hour past our reserved 1:15 PM booking time. This delay set a poor precedent for the meal and wasted precious time from our planned milestone birthday celebration. Failure to Deliver Set Menu Components The meal delivery and portioning were the primary source of frustration, starters at 2:25 PM. • Starters (Sardines, Hummus, Cold Meats): We requested more bread to accompany the dip none was left. Receiving just one slice of bread, cut in half, for seven people? • Mains (Chicken/Steak): When selecting our mains of 5 selections, we were assured by the waiter that the advertised sides (salad and fries) would come with the dishes, we requested the salad. However, upon being served our mains later on, we asked about the missing salad and were informed, without prior communication, that the kitchen had run out of salad and we were instead given carrots. It is baffling that a pre-booked set menu can run out of a core component, and that the decision to substitute it with carrots was made without consulting the paying patrons. • Dessert: The portion control continued with the dessert. For seven guests, we received only three slices of polenta cake. The 2 cheeses was similarly too modest, amounting to little more than a matchstick-sized piece per person. The ambiance and the quality of the wines at Passing Clouds are indeed beautiful and hold great potential. However, the restaurant food was delicious although the operations lack the organisation and professionalism expected of a private winery dining experience. The combination of the excessive delay was not acknowledged by the restaurant, the chronic lack of essential components (bread, salad), and the clear cost-cutting measures applied to the set menu portions severely diminished the value for money and ruined the celebratory mood. We drove a considerable distance and adhered strictly to the booking terms; in return, the restaurant failed to honor its commitment to the advertised experience. I would avoid the dining experience here until management can ensure consistent service, appropriate portion sizing, and reliable execution of their pre booked set menu.
We’ve been dining at Passing Clouds since about 2018 and have always enjoyed the food, wine, atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. I was aware that there had been a change in the team running the dining room. Unfortunately we were disappointed this time around. The food was okay as was the service . The dining room wine list didn’t have any of the cellar door wines and was full of vintage wines with a very high price tag. The 2008 Pinot was superb but I can’t justify spending $150. I really don’t understand why the list didn’t include more recent wines. I’m sorry to write a negative review but we were really disappointed. I do hope that things improve.

Such a great market. Great food and shops with all the flavours of a market. The daylesford gin and honey were good. Clubbed with the heritage train ride make a perfect weekend activity
Lots of variety, interesting artisan stalls, many things to try (especially interesting mushrooms). Very disappointing hot dogs from the red hot dog stand. Train ride to Ballarto was a bit of fun though! Great day out, even in on again off again drizzle! Highly recommend.
I would definitely recommend visiting the market if your staying in town for the weekend. It does get busy so if your staying nearby best to just walk down. Great food options and lots of bric a brac. I enjoy hoping onboard the old train for a old time cruise through the country side. It does cost and you may have to pre book Tix for busy times.
Located 90 minutes drive north from Melbourne the gourmet food destination of Daylesford offers a wide range of locally produced artisan style products. From gins to breads to herbs and flowers and even health style pillows there is plenty to choose from if you are looking for a present and want to support the local craft and community. Located centrally in the town there is good parking and food to taste or coffees. Combine a weekend of tasting and exploring at the Sunday Market and spend the night in the country town!! Enjoy
Such a fun morning. We visited Daylesford for a weekend and decided to go on Sunday morning. We got there early, just as the vendors were setting up, so got to wander casually around with a great coffee. By the time we left an hour and half later, it was packed full of people! I bought fresh strawberries-delicious! Also, nuts and dried mango…so good I wish I bought more! Also bought some great kitchen knives. My friend bought a gorgeous, emerald green felt hat, handmade and stunning. Lots to choose from, handmade earrings, skin care, gin…then there’s the trash n treasure side on the other side of the fence. Rows of tables of fun bricks a brac, clothes and tools. Overall a fun morning with lots of goodies to buy. Seems like a great community event to support. Five stars
Nice and sweet market. A LOT of people, but easy to park. Better go there early, we arrived around 12 and the coffee truck is almost running out🤣
Traditional Sunday market that we have never went for a very long time. There are over 100 different merchandise from locals could be visited. A such relaxing and enjoyable place to go in weekend.
Lovely country market with a wide range of stalls, including fresh produce, plants, handmade crafts and tasty food. It has a friendly, community atmosphere with unique finds and a variety of treats to enjoy. Only downside is that mobile reception is patchy, so card payments are hit‑and‑miss – best to bring some cash just in case

We recently visited Daylesford Cider on a bus tour and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and a genuine enthusiasm for what they do. The cider tastings were the highlight of my visit. Each variety was presented with detailed explanations that really enhanced my understanding of the flavors and brewing process. The staff took the time to walk us through the unique qualities of each cider, sharing insights about the apple varieties. Their passion for cider-making was amazing!
Went here recently on a rainy weekday. Staff were very friendly and approachable. I tried their paddle that was non- alcoholic so my daughter could try it too. My daughter did not find one that she fancied, but i’m glad that they also gave us a free taste of their non- alcoholic spiced apple. My daughter loved it so much! We took home a few bottles of it and so as their other ciders. I had tried the Spiced cider warm as well with my friends and we all enjoyed it! I wish bought more of it! We will definitely come back here during spring or summer time!
What a wonderful visit we had today. We were greeted so warmly on arrival, informed that the ciders were all gluten free & choices for a gluten free meal was not a problem. Even our pooch Miss Rosie enjoyed a doggie bowl of water. The meals & ciders were amazing, we had a fabulous visit. Thank you so much for your friendly service. Kind regards, Michelle & Rob. 🌟
This place is beautiful and if you like cider and happens to be in Daylesford, you need to check this place. I am not a cider person but my friends enjoy it and they bought some to take home so that's a good sign! I like the pizza 🍕 as it's soft and thin. The staff are friendly here.
Set in a beautiful surrounding this place offers quality pizzas, a cosy restaurant, friendly staff and if course one of the best ciders I've ever tried. The cider tasting paddle is an excellent way to sample them all.
Great range of ciders, highly recommend the tasting paddle. Very disappointed by the pizza though. Overpriced, small and poor presentation. We ordered the puttanesca pizza to share, $29 +$3 to ADD anchovies (which is a key ingredient of puttanesca). Wood fired pizzas being served on a dinner plate does not match the presentation expected for such a nice venue. Means some of the ingredients slide towards the centre, should be served on wooden pizza boards. The base itself was average. Place has potential, but until the food offerings are reviewed/changed, I would only recommend coming for drinks.
Visited in September but we’re still talking about the spiced cider and spiced apple we had there. Service was friendly and wasn’t at all busy mid-week. Wanted to upload a photo of the food menu as I couldn’t find one when I had been looking this place up! I can see that a sample menu has been added to the website though.
This is the place to be in Daylesford for cider tasting. We had pizzas, cheese platters, olives, a variety of alcoholic & non-alcoholic ciders for lunch. The garden was cute, wish it wasn't raining. Otherwise it would've been a great place for kids to run around!

Helpful visitor centre with a selection of local nature books. I especially love the art displayed at the storefront as well as the wombat statue!
Lovely place to be, a good place to stop and worth visiting and enjoy walking
This is more a comment about Daylesford. It's a beautiful spot great for a quiet getaway. My only bugbear was the wasps! Australia is slowly succumbing to these European wasps😬
It was just prior to opening, but we found the maps and information outside the Centre to help us. The Centre looked as though it would be a very good place to visit.
Daylesford is a town in the foothills of the great dividing range of Victoria. It is known for its natural mineral springs.
We received a good understanding about the town. However, I wished they advised us that last train ride at 230 pm😕. We missed it.
Fabulous. Best bakery ever. Drove up from Melbourne because had been so highly recommended. The vanilla slice lived up.to the hype of best in Australia. Great custard and you could actually taste the vanilla. The pie was exceptional but my husband said it was the best pasty he'd ever eaten, and he eats a lot of them! Friendly helpful staff.

Loved coming to this gallery. Such a diverse spread of artwork - the curator/s really know their stuff! It's also situated in a quiet area so you can really savour the gallery both inside and outside (yes, there's an outdoor section at the back - it's easy to miss but it's great). This gallery is the first gallery I've been to where there is a jewellery section and my husband actually bought a beautifully intricate necklace for me. I highly recommend visiting here if you're ever at Hepburn Springs/Daylesford.
Absolutely worth the detour. Stony Creek Gallery in Daylesford is a hidden gem nestled in bushland, offering a sensory feast of contemporary Australian art. From Michael Parker’s mesmerizing resin paintings to the eclectic mix of ceramics, blown glass, timber works, and jewellery, every corner invites curiosity and admiration. The sculpture garden is a standout—perfectly curated for outdoor inspiration, with pieces that feel both grounded and ethereal. The gallery itself is a work of art, with even the floor telling a story. Whether you’re looking to add something special to your home or simply soak in the creativity, this space delivers. Bonus points for thoughtful amenities: toilets on site and a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival make the experience feel generous and relaxed. (Although I did not accept the bubbly, it was a nice gesture)
Gorgeous gallery! Lovely lady welcomed us last Saturday. Divine collection by Michael Parker. Vibrant colours, unique subjects, the whole gallery is mesmerising. Will definitely recommend to friends and loved ones.
Great gallery, definitely worth a visit. Staff are super friendly and welcoming without being pushy at all. The gallery has an amazing mix of art from various artists. Primarily it is Michael Parker, a local Daylesford artist, but there are so many other pieces from other artists here as well. It has an entirely different feel and different works to the sister gallery in the town of Daylesford. Make sure you check out it.
Such a great ambience in the gallery (and outside) and really friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had such a great experience with Shelley. She was so helpful and engaging, thank you for coming to my house to help me make the decision on sizes and placement. I only wish I had a bigger house/more walls!! Thanks to Michael Parker the artist. I have been admiring his work since 2017 so I'm so excited I no longer have to admire from a card I received all those years ago, now I have Make a Wish and Dream Big to appreciate every day, thank you!
A stunning local gallery filled with Australian made paintings, jewellery, glass, furniture and sculptures. There’s something for everyone. Valentine was just lovely and very knowledgeable about all of the artists exhibits. Don’t leave Daylesford until you have visited the gallery.
This is a beautiful gallery with some stunning paintings by local artist, vases and Homewares. Definitely a place to come and have a look and spend time looking around and buying whatever you fancy
The artworks on display here are simply stunning. It is a little out of town but well worth the trip. Very friendly and helpful lady on the desk

A good train ride of 20 mins. The destination is quite nice for a small walk around but timing of return train ride is very minimal
If you come to Daylesford over the weekend, you must stop over at this railway and take a short round trip up to Bullarto. There are only rides on Sundays. It takes 1 hour and the views are really pretty. You can stop over at Passing Clouds winery as well. This is run by very dedicated volunteers so come support them.
A must do if you are ever in Daylesford/Hepburn. Great experience, rich history and beautiful views.
Wonderful experience on a well maintained train. Staff are exceptionally friendly and kind. A worth it experience if you are visiting the sunday markets.
A fun but bumpy ride through forest and field. Bullarto is a beautiful station.
Great trip upto the highest railway staion in Victoria in a 1930 diesel- electric railmotor. Lovely way to spend a Sunday morning

Brilliant customer service. We passed through Daylesford and saw something in the window of a shop & loved it, didn’t go in. Didn’t get the name of the shop either. 9 days later, back in WA, after 8 phone calls to random shops in Daylesford , Clayfire Gallery confirmed they had the article I was looking for. They took my purchase over the phone, posted it that afternoon, 3 days later it arrives at our doorstep in WA in mint condition, packaged beautifully. Wonderful experience!
We were in town today perusing the local galleries, walked in to this location (Monday afternoon) and wandered around for a good 5-10 minutes. The male staff member sitting at the desk did not acknowledge our presence on entry nor during our looking and obvious interest in a few items on display. Even standing within 2 metres of him looking directly at him did not deter his activity at the desk. He was not on the phone, nor seemed that involved with what was on the computer. He just seemed not interested in being there. I can see your presence is quite prominent online. Perhaps having disinterest that was quite obvious from your front shop staff in a face to face environment is an indicator and probable recommendation to moving to more online activity. I do follow quite a few of your displayed artists and were feeling quite disappointed for them being represented by such a perceived disinterest. **edit/add 26/03 in response to your review of my feedback** I thank you for your apology and attention. As noted, this review was related to attendance at your physical store and your perceived indifference to our being there as opposed to your entire business operation. We (2 of us) were the only people other than yourself in the store at the time. At no time was there any acknowledgement or attention from yourself. By way of comparison, we attended Michael Parker Gallery.. across the road from yourself also, and the person at the desk, even though they were on the phone discussing business, acknowledged our presence and noted to ask if any further questions. The reason for leaving this review was noting when checking online I could see that there had been a similar review a few months ago noting similar feedback.
Stepping into Clayfire Gallery feels like entering a space where creativity breathes freely. Nestled in the heart of Daylesford, this gallery showcases an extraordinary collection of unique, handcrafted pieces that blur the line between art and soul. From sculptural ceramics to striking glasswork and timber creations, every item seems to carry its own story—bold, beautiful, and deeply personal.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We were admiring the local art (for at least 10 minutes) and looking for a piece for our home. The man working did not acknowledge us entering the store or our presence during the whole time we were there. Pro tip - if you expecting people to spend $1000s a simple hello or offer of assistance goes a long way.
Really love curation of unique artwork and pieces. Best thing is it’s a dog friendly gallery! The shop owner was so nice and kind - would love to come visit again
Amazingly talented artists work on display! Great range of sculpture, paintings and glassware. Google says not open Friday, but they are! Worth a visit.
Wonderful stock. Delightful man and great service

Of all the mineral springs we tried in the area this was the one I reckon tasted the best. The most balanced and "normal" tasting mineral water. Unfortunately though the falls here were quite dry and only trickling. The drop dunny was honestly one of the cleanest and nicest I've ever used.
Not very well cared for to be honest...there were lots of fallen trees and debris in the actual falls themselves...stopping any free mineral springs from flowing...it looked like it could have been a beautiful area and falls but not kept very well at all by the local council...would expect a little more seeing lots had stopped to view the area...quite disappointing to be honest
Nice for a quick visit, waterfall was flowing (April), best view was from car park or just the first/top bit of the steps. Waterfall wasn't visible from the lower part of steps or the bottom, as obscured by trees, so if you have mobility limits you're not missing anything by staying at/near the car park! Walks from the falls were closed due to flood & storm damage, so a 10-15min visit only.
Due to floods last year the majority of the area is blocked off due to safety reasons. Hopefully this will be amended soon. One toilet located in the parking area along with some shelter. You can still go for a short walk along the stream but can't get very far. Currently unable to get to the bottom of the waterfall.
Nice waterfall great day today
Still water flowing, seeing it's been very dry that was a bonus. Great views from the lookout. Sad the loop walk is closed, but it is quite do-able. Toilets, picnic areas are good.
Visited on Tuesday, 5 Mar 2024. The fall was empty of water and the mineral water was contaminated by rotten rust, corrosion. I only tasted it without drinking. It's a nice place to stop by if you are already near by or need a time to kill to chat with friends, stretch, etc. However, I would recommend somewhere else if you are expecting to see a fall or top up mineral water in this time of the year.
Good springs that can be accessed right from the main road (Ballan - Daylesford road). You can see the falls from the top without going down the stairs. There are two lookout areas - upper deck and lower deck. The metal stairs takevyou to upper deck. While the falls are visible from here, the complete view is obliterated by trees. The stone stairs (can be slippery) take you to the lower deck which is no better than upper deck in terms of the view. There is a short trail to the falls which is muddy and can be very slippery. But there is a great view of the falls at the end of it. There is a 140 mts trail to the mineral springs pump. From there you can continue on the trail and see other springs but this is as far as we got to. Good experience.

The old mineral water taps and area have been completely overhauled and updated. It's a lovely 3-minute walk down from Lake Daylesford. Paved with sottingcareas and picnic spaces. It's worth a visit!
Lovely walk around the lake, but the mineral fountain is non-functional and not really worth a visit unless you want to walk around the lake
Tranquil location for a walk, with lots of birds and wildlife. Dogs allowed on-load which is nice. Peaceful area to spend some time, and nice if coupled with adjacent walks. The mineral water tastes okay, however the pump appears to be quite old which may affect the taste.
Nice little area for a picnic/lunch. There are bins and benches but no toilets on this end. There is a small car park. The water tastes funky. Nice area near the car park for dogs to have a little swim. Dirt paths on either side to walk/cycle around the lake. Wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. There were a few ducks with broken/damaged wings, beaks, and legs.
Easy access from a small carpark. Close to the lake and usually a lot of water birds around. Every spring in the area tastes differently but this one has a lot of iron in it. Will visit again.
Not so beautiful but nice to visit once..good to walk along lakeside watching ducks ..lot of trees around the lake..a nice drive from Melbourne..
Lovely nice long walk. Was raining like mad when we went though. Really good all things considered.
One of the most amazing places. Especially during this time of the year, with all the leaves changing colour.

Fantastic community oriented space. Very evident the amount of work the organisations and volunteers have put in.
An excellent museum in old school everyone who visits Daylesford on a Saturday should drop in and get a feel for how Daylesford came to be what it is
What a marvellous place! And of course it is the people who truly make a place 😊
Very detailed and interesting archives of Daylesford from the past. The museum curators are really friendly and make the time to explain things to you.
There’s some nice lovely volunteers explaining. however i feel that if there’s proper structure, might be a more enjoyable experience.
A great place to learn about the local area. Very helpful volunteer staff who take pride in their history. Wonderful displays and excellent family research capability.
Wonderful place. So interesting. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town. NB only open weekend afternoons.
Excellent collection of items and information on Daylesford history. Well worth the visit!

The well worn steps take you home to the Church where you grew up in, done your sacraments, marriage and Christenings. Only come home now for any relatives doing the same. And of course many funerals now. 💖 Hopefully it keeps its congregation for a long time. The current Priest seems very personable and welcoming.
Stunning architecture. Welcoming vibe. Lovely service.
Beautiful venue to see Sarah Blasko for the Winter Sounds series. The acoustics and lighting were amazing!
Beautiful church, best sermon I've heard in years. Recommend.
Excellent facilities, well presented grounds and respectful clergy supportive of the community. The underpowered audio amplifier would cut out frequently under load from the microphone during readings and eulogy.
another church with beautiful architecture.
Beautiful church. Well worth a visit. Friendly and welcoming congregation and priest Fr Justin.
Absolutely beautiful church and the priest was just great grounds around church were perfect all good for a wedding
