A fantastic market with fresh, local produce! Bunbury Farmers Market is a must-visit for anyone who loves fresh, high-quality food. The variety of local produce is incredible — from fresh fruits and vegetables to meats, cheeses, and baked goods, there’s something for everyone. The market is well-organized, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I love that you can support local farmers and producers while shopping for great ingredients. It’s the perfect place to pick up fresh produce for the week or grab a delicious ready-made meal. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!
Freshest and widest selection under one roof and they have sampling of fish to give you a suggestion of type of fish to buy. The beef cuts are amazing and I have not seen such huge mushrooms before. Sets the adrenaline pumping for those who loves to cook. The nuts and cheese selection is worth trying, esp the local ones. Pies are good esp those reduced to clear. Still yummy and filling. There’s a take out counter by the side of the supermarket and their mushroom pies, beef and cheese pies are soooo good. Wish I can carry everything back to my country!
A good coffee break driving down from Perth. The fruit and veg are very fresh and nicely arranged. If you are cooking dinner, this is a good choice rather than going restaurants. Enjoy.
Wonderful showcase of local food produce at an incredible price. We got steak, fish fillet, veggies and fruits and made an amazing dinner :)
There’s really a lot of choices—from fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, bread, and everything else. Everything looks so fresh and tempting that if I weren’t already full, I’d probably buy everything. Luckily, I was full, and if you convert the prices from AUD to MYR, it’s definitely not cheap. If you’re checking in with a group and have a kitchen to cook, it’s worth buying here to cook together. But for me, it’s not really worth it—I’d rather buy ready-made from a store. Overall, vegetables and fruits start from around AUD 3 (RM 9) per pack.
An excellent produce market with the freshest local produce direct from local farmers, eals ready to cook, angry items and baked goods all made in house. One of the best supermarkets we have seen.
Can't believe it took as over a year of living in Bunbury to try this place. It is INCREDIBLE! SO many options. Everything is super fresh! Love the design of walking through on pathway with each section rather than the typical grocery store experience of multiple aisles. Oh, and their Steak, Jalapeno and Cheese pies are literally the best pie I have ever had in my entire life!!! Their stuffed mushrooms are incredible too! My new favourite place to shop!
An awesome stop point on my way to Busselton from Perth. This is a huge place with many different fresh produce from the area. I never knew there were so many kinds of crops and meat that could be seen in just one place but here it is! Useful to stop by if you'll be buying food to cook in your lodging.

Bunbury Wildlife Park is a beautiful zoological park that offers a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff was friendly and knowledgeable. At the entrance, we had the opportunity to meet Maui, a young Macaw. The keepers provided insightful information during the kangaroo talk, showcasing their expertise. The park features a wide variety of Australian wildlife, including several stunning walk-through aviaries filled with birds. The enclosures are thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of enrichment, and are extremely well maintained. All the animals were healthy and are living their best lives at Bunbury Wildlife Park. The entry fee was very reasonable, and there are many shaded areas for both visitors and animals to relax. Bunbury Wildlife Park is a must-see when visiting the city of Bunbury!
Very friendly simple animal park very much enjoyed! At first I thought oh no this looks so small… but it was so well laid out and the shady cart for my two and a half year old made it superb. Three adults, two visiting from overseas especially, we are all very happy with the friendly animals in clean spacious enclosures. My daughter was safe to run around the grassy grounds happily feeding ducks. I loved the goats. We also love that you can see into the wombats cave because as we all know wombats are nocturnal and prone to be fast asleep when we want to ogle them. 😊
I loved this place. Friendly staff that do talks if they're in the enclosures. We saw birds getting fed and a very nice staff member let us watch as she fed the monitor. The Walk through aviary was fun. The Alexandrine parrots flew over and sat on our shoulders and were very sociable. Nice neat park. Can get up close to a lot of the animals and can see reptiles up close near the exit.
Playground just outside has a large area with a variety of slides and swings and picnic area. Ideal spot for kids and picnic lunch regardless of weather you visit the wildlife park or not. Over the road is a swamp area with walkways and bird hides. Great opportunity to watch birds do thier thing. Free activity.
What an amazing wildlife park! You get to feed SOOOOO MANY animals and they're all so friendly and cute. The best part was the talking cockatoos. They literally say Hello when you pass by and the other one says "Hello, How're you doin" 😂😂😂😂 It was the most fun wildlife park/zoo/sanctuary we've been to! A MUST VISIT FOR SURE
Staff at the reception was super nice. It’s a small park, nice area for the birds. Was quite disappointed that not able to have much interaction with the animal, especially the kangaroos.
I have visited several wildlife parks and sanctuaries in Australia and have always enjoyed them. However, this one is simply depressing. The animals are clearly not well; almost all of them are either apathetic or show clear signs of hospitalism. We did not see any staff members during our entire visit, except for the lady at the entrance. For the welfare of the animals, action should be taken and the park should be closed.
I like it. It's not too big in size but has a decent number of native animals. A couple of hours should do it. Also, shoutout to the volunteers; nice, knowledgeable, and professional. All in all, I think it is one of the best attractions in Bunbury.

Great spot with a panorama view. Stairs to climb to the top. There are few parking spots here. Also, get to see the lighthouse from a distance.
I walked along the beach, past the lighthouse, to this tower and climbed to the top. I actually felt the climb in my calf’s! 😂. Must mean that I need to do more exercise The view from the top is worth the climb but the safety net is annoying but probably needed. Halfway up is a platform for uninterrupted views. To finish off I walked down the wooded stairs through the gardens. A very pleasant way to finish and then find a coffee shop
Really nice spot and great view
not much in term of views but it’s an easy enough climb and a great place to rest before or after a coffee. very windy at the top
Pleasant and windy views from the top of the lookout, and plenty of stairs to the top! The car park is quite small, but visitors typically spend a short amount of time here anyway.
A wonderful place to spend the evening. Despite being 62, I made it to the top and was rewarded with a breathtaking sunset—it was truly worth the effort.
Would be a great photo opportunity if the redesigned the top view by removing the mesh wire cage
The prime spot offers breathtaking views of the entire city, from Koombana Beach and Bay to Jetty Road, the Lighthouse, and the CBD. It goes without saying that sunrise and sunset are ideal times to visit. With the exception of the graffiti, it was a solid four stars. In any case, I'm crossing my fingers that the city will get to it soon and clean it up.

The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable, they gave us great local places to go and see we wouldn’t have found on our own. The Museum was worth a visit
A clean and welcoming place to visit , great assortment of interesting information, we enjoyed the museum tour, lots of great local history displayed very well. The teachers rules displayed were entertaining.
Great museum and staff were so helpful with info.
Very interesting artefacts from our early maritime history, early schooling, early furnishings etc and lots more
Very helpful and gave us lots if ideas for walks with our dog. Was very well informed and passionate about her city. Has made our stay more enjoyable for sure.
Christmas in the city celebrations ! Dec 11th 2022. The whole town (almost) just came together to dress up and celebrate! Great effort and unity- a community, togetherness! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Excellent staff and really interesting displays in the attached and free museum. A special thanks to Jo-Annne for giving us fantastic advice on spending an afternoon in Bunbury.

It’s worth a visit at late sunset, not an open attraction to go inside but it’s amazing to watch the light flicker around. A small car park down the road to park and walk up otherwise you can enjoy a coastal walk and take in the amazing views.
Bunbury Lighthouse offers a breathtaking view of the sea. We stopped there to have breakfast on our way to Albany. There were ample parking spaces along the beach. However, there’s no public access to the lighthouse itself. Instead, there’s a jogging and walking path that circles the area.
Although it’s an impressive and important structure you can’t find any info about it to feed the curiosity. It’s easy enough to find as you walk along the cost path to the Marlston Lookout. Fantastic sunset views from this spot for sure. It’s a nice long path, perfect for a dog walk etc
Bunbury lighthouse is a cute little black-and-white-checkered lighthouse, quite unlike the bright red ones I've seen along other parts of Perth's coasts. Sadly, you can't climb it or get very near it as it is fenced up. Next best thing to do is take a walk along the beach near the lighthouse, which we did on this sunny day, don't mind the brolley for sun protection.
The lighthouse looks interesting. However, that's all you can do. Look at it from a distance. There is access to a dog friendly beach near it, which is quite beautiful.
Good walking tracks along the coast and adequate parking space near the lighthouse. Good time for an evening stroll around the area and get some good pics of the light house. There is inside
Great looking Lighthouse love the paint job.

Great place and very friendly and approachable staff. They welcome us with a brief orientation for the exhibits that needs extra care nd caution especially kids need supervision at all times which is understandable. There was even a kids activity space and free coffee or tea.
This was worth a visit , slow down your pace and browse the walls , the old build has a special charm, the space was very clean and comfortable to explore. Great free activity to do with friends and family. ($donations welcomed)
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Bunbury Art Gallery. The collection features a broad variety of arts, providing something for every taste. The atmosphere inside is very welcoming and pleasant, making the entire visit a highly enjoyable journey.
We visited this art gallery that is housed in a historic building that is pink in colour. Entrance is free and we found the art very interesting and of good variety. There are several galleries both on the ground and first floor. They have lift access to the first floor which is very helpful. There is also a working colourful piano to the left of the entrance. We very much enjoyed our visit.
Amazing Floral display there today 🌷
Says no photos inside so I didn’t take any. We visited today and there wasn’t much to see unfortunately but has a lot of potential, every room had aircon that was nice and chill. What we did see some of it was nice and unique also, it’s free so you can just walk in which is convenient.
Lovely old building, which was a former convent. Unfortunately, the main galley was closed (setting up a new exhibition), which was unfortunate during half term holidays. Friendly staff and other floors to explore. We enjoyed our free visit.
Beautiful art that pops out at you and a very beautiful and well maintained old building to house them! Definitely worth a visit!

Was just in Bunbury to pick up a card and wanted a quick bite before heading home. Called into the Hollow and got a Parmy and some Brisket Tacos to share with my son.... The Tacos were amazing and the Parmy was not only huge but extremely tasty. The staff were awesome. It has a nice atmosphere with the log fire... 10/10 highly recommend....
Loved the presentation of dishes. Eg large long wavy pieces of calamari, triangle cuts of cheesy garlic bread. Not too keen on salad (cheese and olives) that came with my barramundi.
Not a bad place to visit. The location is fantastic - beach front. Lovely view of the sunset. The food was decent. The atmosphere could be a little bit more ambient, and the place distinctly smelled of spilled beer. But I guess that's the nature of a sports-bar-type place.
Absolutely mouthwatering delicious food! Beautiful beef BBQ ribs and calamari like butter! A beautiful sunset to boot and a warm fire. Excellent service too! Well down Hungry Hollow.
Beautifully located in front of the beach, we got to experience the most amazing sunset on the day we went. As for the food, it was a good meal and big portions, also we just loved that you can order from the barcode at the table! The only thing is you still need to order drinks at the bar, which is not too bad cos then you still have that pub feel. The footy was on that night, so they had it playing on the big screens. The crowd was lively and well behaved. And yes, my son and I enjoyed a nice pub dinner.
On a positive note, there was a fire 🔥 place that was welcoming and warm. The chairs were comfortable and the venue location is beautifully set on the foreshore. The waiters were super friendly and welcoming First time visiting as it was highly recommended and unfortunately we will not be returning anytime soon for a meal but will give it a go again at some point to try the cocktails. Group of 6 pre booked a table, we were seated inside but near the smoking area that was located outside. We could smell the cigarette smoke as if we were in the smoking zone the whole time we were there. The food fell short and was below average, saturated in oil, the fish was full of bones and the batter was oily, the rib eye was sinuey and not tender, the fries looked like and tasted like they came from mcdonalds, the mushroom sauce was watery and tasteless and the chicken schnitzel was paper thin and saturated in oil the batter was soggy and not crispy. The food was not of a standard one would expect for the price paid for a meal. Twice we tried to speak with a waitress however they appeared to be busy removing plates and glasses from the tables. No one checked on how our meal was even tho there was still a lot of food on our plates. After travelling 8 hours from remote / rural and for our first meal at the Hollow Beach we did leave feeling disappointed.
Such a great location opposite the beach but so often let down by the food. Pork pizza was missing bbq sauce completely. Was given a jug of watery sauce. Sent it back to the kitchen. Came back 10 mins later drowned in watery sauce and stone cold. Attitude of staff was no we don't give refunds. Eventually upon insistence was refunded for half a pizza as that was what was sent back. Do better!
Lovely view of the beach. We sat outside and loved that it was a dog friendly pub, and had a great view of the beach. It’s not a flash pub, but the atmosphere and food are amazing! Would recommend to friends and family to visit.

The guy that took us around was extremely happy to help and answer all our questions, Bunbury history is amazing, loved learning. If you want to know about Bunbury history, this is certainly the place to come.
So much to see here! Wonderful displays of early 20th century wares. A great step back in time to see how people lived during that period. Our tour guide was great. Telling us stories that went the displays. I highly recommend a visit!
A walk back into the past and the ladies took us on great tour so we got an insight into what life was like 100 years ago.
It was a very interesting and informative place to visit and had a very large and diverse range of items

What a great experience at the Bunbury Museum & Heritage Centre! The exhibits, especially those covering the railway history & Jetty, were fantastic. The building has such a pleasant and welcoming vibe, making it a truly enjoyable way to spend time to learn the history.
For a small museum it had a lot of interesting stuff in it. Free and worth a visit in my opinion...
Wonderful displays of early colonial seafaring and school, clothing etc etc artefacts 👍👊
My Daughter loves it here, and its free to enter thank you Bunbury 😊
Its a world of discovery from start to finish. A whole wealth of knowledge from the very initial starts of a town to a roaring success of mining and coastal living. I love visiting each time im in Bunbury!! Highly recommended!!
Lovely building and interior easy access and location. The history of Bunbury was very interesting. I loved the model of the French and Dutch explorers ships and incredibly harsh heavy convict chains. Beautiful presentation of lace items with story links. Well done.

Beautiful Cathederal, ample parking, very good amenities. All round lovely place to worship.
This was only the second time that I have entered this wonderful Cathedral. It has such a beautiful feel about. I am a visitor from Perth. The congregation are very welcoming and the priest was delightful to listen to. A very good experience again.
Beautiful church. My grandson was baptised there a few yrs ago.

Charming views looking eastwards across Bunbury and beyond. Recommended at dawn as the sun rises over the eastern horizon.
I lived at the foot of Boulters heights in the 70’s & keep lovely memories of this special place. The native Melaleuca & Santalum acuminatum where plentiful and there was a water fall - what happened?!? @cityofbunbury make use of this special place!
Boulters Heights is a hidden gem in the heart of Bunbury, offering some of the best panoramic views of the city and coastline. Perched above the town center, it’s a perfect spot to take in a sunrise or sunset, with sweeping sights across the Indian Ocean, Koombana Bay, and the city skyline. The walk up is relatively short but steep, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Once at the top, you're rewarded with a peaceful lookout that's rarely crowded — a great place to unwind or snap a few photos. It's also a lovely spot to bring a coffee and just sit in quiet reflection. Though signage and facilities are minimal, the natural beauty and serenity make up for it. Ideal for visitors looking for a scenic detour or locals who want a peaceful vantage point. Overall, Boulters Heights is well worth the short climb for a big reward.
Loved the view 10/10 breath taking 😊
Great views of Bunbury.
Nice views, walking track if you are in to that kind of thing, very steep.
Not much parking, but great for a quick view stop of bunbury
Being a local, I never tire of visiting here. The view is breathtaking, great for anyone wanting memento pics or a good backdrop of Bunbury for group pics and selfies. In my mind it is a Bunbury icon and it has a lot of history. The old Apex circular brass plaque is still there showing local and international cities distance/direction, brings back personal childhood memories dating back to early 70's.

My son and I brought dinner and some chairs here and sat watching the sun set. It looks to be a great fishing spot and to left and right of the rocks there looks to be white sand and more of a swimmers beach. It has plenty of parking, picnic tables with seats and bins. The lawn here is green and well kept. It's down the street walking distance from Mantra Lighthouse Hotel where we stayed. Beautiful views of the ocean.
An interesting beach that's great for sunsets, or watching the waves crash over the small rocks. Plenty of parking along the foreshore on the adjacent road.
Came down to watch the sunset, actually drove 165klms to get dinner watch a sunset and drive home again. There are plenty of tables to sit at, the beach in front is not suitable for swimming as it has too many rocks. Facilities provided include free parking, gas bbqs and also public toilets.
Nice place for fishing, morning or evening walk, and bbq 🙂
The setting is very picturesque, and there are a lot of things to see along the beach if you walk along it. This is a fantastic location for science enthusiasts, as the formations are quite remarkable.
Amazing views over the ocean. Great for afternoon or morning walks. Lovely sunset to watch. Had a quick stop on our way back to Perth, was so refreshing and soaked in all the freshness and energy of the ocean. Absolutely loved. Heaps of grass and seats to rest, public toilet, BBQ areas, etc. It just couldn't be better.
First time here, you can get very close to get waves that hit the rocks and every wave is so different! You never know when it's going to be a big one or not. Had so much fun and anticipation on the next waves. Listening to it is calming also.

This is a beautiful oasis in the heart of town. A hidden gem with lots of areas to view beautiful bird life. It really should be called a wetland as some people may hesitate to visit a swamp. Highly recommend a walk here.
A lovely nature walk full of birding opportunities. It can be busy at times its a popular place here in Bunbury to get your steps in, walk the furbabies and watch the birdlife 🦆
Would visit again, the photos speak for itself. Walk can easily be done with kids. Plenty of shade and benches around.
This is a really nice area teeming with birdlife. It is a 2.5 loop path around with some little extra paths to explore the inner wetland via boardwalk (No dogs on this bit) There are various bird hides and shelters and many little info/fact signs around which are quite interesting. Plenty of benches and bins too. Very clean and well maintained area :)
Fabulous place to visit...took lots of photos. Loved spotting birds in the bird hide. A few more interpretive signs would have been helpful. Nice kiddie playground at the end with a well placed toilet.
Best place to take a stroll in Bunbury. Be sure to go down the paper bark trail and over the bridges to the bird viewing area. Lots of hidden gems around this route, enjoy!!
A nice little bit of open space in Bunbury with an easy circular walk of 2.5km on good, level footpaths. There's a bird hide for anyone interested in looking out for various birds. The walk through the trees is pretty good too.
Love nature! Good walking track, paved all the way around...about a 20 minute walk. Peaceful.
