The Koala feeding was the main interest in us attending. It didn’t disappoint and there was so many other animals to see as well. The park is clean and well maintained.
We have just had a great morning here!! Some of us did the Segway which they loved The rest of us enjoyed all the lovely animals The staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly and informative Thankyou
Absolutely amazing!!!! We went for a SEGWAY guided tour.. A not to be missed activity, especially with kids.. we had so much fun and tour guide, Lilly was amazing👏👏Very kind, helpful..The whole place is very well maintained and welcoming!!
Wonderful family outing! Highly recommended. Great farm with beautiful happy animals and the highlight is cuddling soft bunnies. Got to pat the koalas too. Simple food in the cafe. Service was good and friendly.
What a great time we had here. Lots of animals to see & feed. Segway's were fun. Take a packed lunch or BBQ pack as not much food was available.
One of the best places that I’ve visited in my life. You can have contact with many kinds of animals, pet and feed most of them. The kangaroos area is a wonderful experience if this is your first time seeing these animals. Besides that, the facility has very good food and drinks, a nice gift shop and a great staff. Highly recommend this place.
Loved it here. Heaps of animals to see and interact with, a fun maze to try and crack and some lovely wines on offer as well. They also have Segways if that appeals to you, you get to ride around the vineyard. Had a great few hours here.
Had the best morning there this week, October 2021. We went to play Putt Putt, which was fine, an easy course, no real obstacles, but we ended up buying a $2 of animal feed and my daughter (nearly 20) had the best time feeding the animals. The cafe and shop are modern, pristine and well priced and the farm is lovely. There are also Segways and a wooden maze. Good value and the lady who helped us was lovely.

This whole area is stunning. Picturesque drive around some secluded bays and an epic beach at the end at Red Banks beach. It’s not a rough road but some parts with shallow sand and rocks. You are allowed to camp there and I wish I’d known before hand as I’d have definitely spent the night out there.
We toured Whalers Way for the first time 46 years ago, and we've just been back for a second time, and it did not disappoint. Stunning coastal scenery with plenty of wildlife along the way. There are some negatives however. The toilets, which aren't functioning and should be demolished and in several locations infrastructure such as guardrails is degraded and bordering on dangerous which also detracts from the beauty. Otherwise, we had a fantastic day, and to do it, justice allow most of a day otherwise you will need to skip over some of the highlights.
We were recommended to visit Whalers Way while on a recent stay at Port Lincoln. The Positives. -The Coastline is remarkably with many great spots to stop and take in the views along the Journey. -The roads are in pretty good shape and most spots I’d imagine you could get there in a 2WD vehicle. -For such an amazing location we only came across one other car during our journey, I’d assume that’s due to the $40 fee per car to enter. Some people have complained about this however this day and age that’s pretty reasonable for a full day family outing plus this allows you to camp on the premises for a night. The Negatives. -The place needs some infrastructure TLC. Many of the guard rails to protect people from plunging over a cliff have all rusted and fallen over. -Could do with some updated signage. It’s adequate but could be a bit more descriptive. Overall a great day exploring however I would have liked to know a little more about the history of the property along the way. A missed opportunity of a Gem of a property.
This place should be listed as a “must do” on the Eyre Peninsula. I list it in the “Top Ten List” of things you have to do in The Eyre. It’s a private rd and you need a $40 permit from the Port Lincoln Information centre to gain an access code and you’ll need a full day to totally enjoy. The main rd through this area is a graded rd and is in reasonable condition. It has some corrugations and minor sandy and rocky sections. 2wd vehicles will need to drive according to conditions. Mainly rocky rough patches will need to be taken slowly.
Unbelievable scenery so glad we visited Port Lincoln Tourist Bureau as we knew nothing about this drive. We were there for 5 hours, the road is a bit rough but our 2WD drive Ignis managed. Would highly recommend .
Although very beautiful, this is not a place you want to travel on your own. I saw one other person (who sped past me) in 24 hours and that was on a Sunday! Running into any kind of trouble could be treacherous. It would be quite easy to fall or twist an ankle and I imagine there's plenty of bush insects and snakes etc. Please take adequate water and supplies in case of a breakdown or accident - and beware that there's many places along the way that could easily pop your tyres or damage tour car. For $40, this place is not well managed and I would not recommend for an old car, any caravan or heavy motor home. Take a lot of care when leaving the vehicle too - the wind, and weather in general is pretty full on.
An absolutely stunning coastal cliff property of a photographers delight with many beautiful beaches. There are lots to drive to and plenty of walks ranging in size and difficulty. Awesome camping anywhere you want and reasonably priced. The longer you stay, the cheaper it works out. Big bonus is it's dog friendly. Just keep them on a lead for their own safety and the wildlife. The roads can be rough and rocky, but I'm so pleased my old low clearance Nissan urvan completed the task.
Lovely bays with crystal clear waters. Spotted our first whale of the season here today. Surfers having a magical time also. Road out suitable for all cars. Spotted a family of emus on the way home also.

Windy derrrrr lol. Very nice view. Go there
Beautiful view of Port Lincoln eventhough the weather was poor.
Excellent views of Port Lincoln from here. It was super windy when we came and rained a little too. We managed to capture a beautiful rainbow. Great spot to take pictures.
Very, very windy the day we were there. Great views over Port Lincoln. Can drive to lookout, it has an observation tower that does protect you from the wind a bit.

One word - magic. Staffed by volunteers who obviously love their work. Lovingly restored boars of all sorts, models, illustrations, all providing a maritime history of Port Lincoln and surrounds. A must see.
Highly recommend a visit. Learned a lot about boat building and the history of fishing and Port Lincoln from the well organised exhibitions and short films. Very friendly people working there too. Go check it out.
A fascinating place to visit great historical information about a large number of different types of boats. Also the living quarters of Axel Stenross his wife, and his friend. Genuine cartographic maps by Matthew Flinders. So much more about the Port Lincoln town.
Excellent museum with plenty to read and look at - history, back to Matthew Flinders with a copy of his charts of this area, the actual boat building workshop and living quarters and a great collection of wooden boats. It pays to go to the museum to see if they're open as the info on Google maps isn't always correct. It said it was closed but it was open on a public holiday when we got there.
Wow! Probably the best maritime museum in Australia. We very much enjoyed our time here. The collection is extensive and impressive. The staff (all volunteers) have a wealth of knowledge to share. Lloyd, Brian and John had many stories and information to share when we visited. Allow plenty of time as there is so much to take in. Thanks once again! We will return :-) Here are some photos of this excellent museum. A 'must see' when visiting Port Lincoln!
$10 entry, short informative video, wander at your leisure. Lovely volunteer had alot of information. Well worth the visit
What a museum, the staff are absolutely brilliant, super friendly and knowledgeable, so much to see, so much history under one roof, well worth the visit,
The Axel Stenross Museum is an Aladdin's cave of maritime history treasures. Although primarily focussed on the maritime history of Port Lincoln, this is in part also Australia's maritime story. The Museum is well divided into separate parts of the story (explorers, fishing, equipment, boats etc). The friendly host provides a good briefing and the experience starts with a very interesting 20min video. Don't be deceived by the simple shed like external appearance, this is well worth 2 or 3 hours of your time (more if you like to really mull over the wonders of how they achieved so much) Sadly it was raining on our visit so no photos of the magnificent vessels outside but we could view them from indoors. Entry is around $10 with the usual concessions and plenty of parking. Toilets on site.

I met Ellie the Ranger and she was such an asset to the area with her local knowledge and also very kind and helped me out when I was in a tight spot. It's a really wonderful Park it'd be nice to figure a way to slow the traffic down in National parks as wildlife are getting a flogging. A great variety of camps and also many with internet for those that need it. When you have a group of people in cars it's extremely economical but when you're just a single person like myself not so much. Some more options would be good. Thanks very much for all of the great work and thank you again Ellie.
Sadly we (2 couples) found this NP rather underwhelming. Although we didn’t do any of the southerly tracks to the surf side and kept our sightseeing on the northern length of the bay coast. Sorry but after spending time in the western Eyre coastline must have spoilt us quite a bit and found most of these beaches uninviting except for September Beach at the northern most end of the NP. It s a nice beach for all to swim and enjoy.
Very beautiful beaches. Worth the time to get to them.
Beautiful place but lots of gates with no access
So many beautiful places to see! Amazing scenery!
Stayed at Woodcutters Beach and really enjoyed it despite there being no toilets. Great walk along the beach with a nice dip. Saw a lonely dolphin and the view was spectacular.
Excellent spot to explore only a short drive from Port Lincoln. With the vast majority of the park accessible via a bitumen road, access is pretty easy to most spots. Do take a drive out to Carcase Rock, it's a bit of a rocky, bumpy track (4wd recommended) but the drive is worth it!
Great beaches and hidden coves. Sealions playing just off the rocks near the lighthouse. Even a couple of rock parrots sunbathing on the gorgeous rocks. Cool tracks to explore by foot and car. Many different camping spots. Really worth a visit!

Amazing place so much history & memorabilia. You will spend longer there than you think, there is so much to see. Definitely worth the drive if in the area.
What a great little museum, so full of wonderful history. Really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended
Wasn't expecting the range of items on display. We spent an hour wandering through all the buildings. The lady at entrance shop was helpful and informative. They also had home made sausage rolls and scones. I can't vouch for both being tasty. Worth a visit and the drive through the country side is nice as well
Very cool history at this museum, very affordable and lots to see
Beautiful location, well worth the dirt road drive. From living to working, there is a good amount to see and read about of the local history. Not sure if the Blacksmith's gets used, that would great to see. We virtually had the place to ourselves and still didn't have enough time to take it all in.
Fantastic living museum. A perfect look back into the past. Should be a must for all young adults. The National Trust needs to put more resources into this site. It should be preserved, presented and celebrated. Too much focus is directed on only parts of our past. PLEASE DON'T LOSE OUR HISTORY. Embrace and enjoy what and who we once were. Staff informative, enthusiastic and great volunteers. Should be commended and congratulated.
Our group had the pleasure of Sharon's wonderful hospitality at the museum recently. This national trust museum is very extensive in its displays and Sharon backed it up with home made pasties, sausage rolls and scones with jam and cream. Very good value for our tourist $.
Great experience lots of heritage and great displays

Perfection! Beautifully balanced degustation . Every dish was a work of art. Mat was the lovely girl from Milan were both exceptional in their presentation and service. Gorgeous venue and cellar door. And the Peter Teakle Cab Merlot delicious. Had such a good experience there…. Memorable.
Where is the 6 star button? This winery is up there with the best winery experiences we’ve found. The cellar door and restaurant aesthetic and ambiance are first class. We felt like we were dining at a five star luxury resort. Did the wine tasting, bought 4 bottles and tasting was not charged. Our picks were the sparking, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Then went next door to the restaurant and were blown away. Had the 5 course tasting and it was sensational! The quality and flavours were amazing, savouring each and every bite. Staff were excellent. Cannot rate highly enough. Wishing we could come back.
By far the best dining with matched wine experience we have had on our journey across Australia to date. The wines are spectacular, the food is perfection, and the service was over and above. Can highly recommend the ‘Trust The Chef’ menu with matched wines. Surpassed our expectations. Thank you Peter Teakle Winery.
My partner and I went for a wine tasting with the company of another friend and Garcia received us with professionalism and kindness. During the wine tasting he explain the details of each wine which were very tasty(being both of us red lovers we have to say that both Savignon Blanc with its amazing tropical fruit flavors and the Chardonnay with the great aged aromas were the highlights). The place is beautiful and has a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Wedding 2025 I was lucky enough to have my wedding here in March 2025. Everything was perfect, I could not have asked for a better day. All of our guests commented on the space and the food, many guests told us they can't wait to recommend Teakle wines to there friends. We had an unfortunate last minute change of venue (8 weeks from wedding day). Changing to Teakle Wines, Kirsten (the manager) stepped us through the process of planning our wedding with Teakle Wines. Kirsten was extremely accommodating, worked closely with me to ensure we had the day of our dreams. I must say we are very grateful the other venue fell through, Teakle Wines was a much better venue, with much better staff, food, drinks and overall atmosphere. Kirsten was excellent to communicate with, nothing was too hard. Kirsten is organised and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day, she organised set up of the venue and helped co-ordinate placement of hired items. Our wedding photos are amazing, the venue speaks for itself. Teakle Wines, has some of the best sunsets in Port Lincoln and creates for amazing wedding photos!! I truly wish we could relive this day again. The staff on the day were incredible, well mannered and so friendly. The food was incredible, no one left the wedding hungry! I could not recommend this venue enough. If you're pondering where to get married, I would highly recommend Teakle Wines. The space and all the furniture is high end, it speaks for itself in creating a simplistic but beautiful aesthetic for any wedding, requiring minimal to no decorations.
There’s really not much to say the pictures of the food and drinks speak volumes 😍😍 service was amazing the interior and exterior is beautiful I have not one bad thing to say everything we ate was so fresh I highly recommend this place
Lucky to get Cellar Door and Restaurant Manager Marion to look after us on our visit to Teakle Wines. The very full charcuterie board complemented a lovely flight of their wines. Peter Teakle's vision for a premium top flight vineyard is going next level with Clare Valley winemaker Elizabeth Heidenreich and Manager Marion Jones at the helm. It was a real privilege to have such a lovely Sunday arvo experience. Well done to all the team!
The new Brazilian sommelier treated us to a wonderful tasting of the Teakle range of wines. His experience in Mendoza and New Zealand allowed a really informed discussion about the unique characters and merits of each wine compared to what those varieties might deliver from other terrors. Thank you! Tim and Anne, New Forest, UK ps. Do check out verjus as a culinary opportunity!

Mikkira is a HIDDEN GEM🐨 This is definitely the most amazing camp-site we have ever been. The drive to get there is already beautiful, you can start seeing all sort of birds that lead you to this fascinating location. If you dream of the perfect camping spot, in a forest, sitting by the fire and seeing plenty of shooting stars, this is your place!  Very rich in wildlife, you can spend hours admiring the cuteness of the Koalas, the adorable kangaroos and the cheaky emus, all can be seen super close. It is a place that you get to fall in love with so quickly so make sure you give yourselves a few nights to really enjoy its essence ( we came for 1 night and ended up staying 6 weeks 🥰) Perfect to go exploring in the area , plenty of little walks or drive down to the beautiful popular Fishery Bay, Whalers way or the NP. The owner Helen is adorable and very supportive.❤️ Bonus hot showers and proper toilet.
We loved staying at Mikkira station. It was our second time here and it was amazing! So much wildlife such as koala's, kangaroos, emu's, sheep, galah's... The site is quite big so you have more than enough space to find a nice and quiet camping spot. The hot showers were a bonus as it got quite cold during the night. Helen, the owner, is such a wonderful host as she came down to say hello when we arrived. The road is a bit bumpy but nothing too bad, especially when you're driving a bit slower to not hit any wildlife. We got clear instructions for checking in. I can 100% recommend going here for either a day trip or make it your campsite for the night. This was such a wonderful experience and so many wild koala's!
Best place to spot koalas, and in their own habitat. We went just for the day (twice). You will also see emus and of course kangaroos.
Spent an absolutely fabulous 2 night stay at this amazing place. Koala, emu, kangaroo, and loads of birds just a couple of metres away from our caravan ... literally a couple of metres ... in the wild. Loads of places to camp in a huge area big enough for any sized RV, camper van, caravan, or camper trailer.
Wonderful place to visit. The owner took us on a Kuala tour. Very nice lady, full of knowledge and love for the animals. Note, make sure you contact them ahead of time to get a key/key code for entry.
Huge campground with basic, functional facilities. Wildlife abounds and flora a mixed bag. Not to be missed.

Spent half a day walking around Port Lincoln. Got in this morning for shark diving tomorrow! Walked up to the Old Mill Lookout! Worth the walk! Great views on a fantastic clear day! Good bit of history also for those interested in that!
I braved it and carefully walked up the top and down. Nice view from the top. Pity it was overcast but on a sunny day it would be lovely. A must while in Port Lincoln.
Worth a ten minute visit for some great photos of the town and bay. Don’t go if you suffer from vertigo or are a structural engineer. I’m certain the stairs and railing don’t conform to AS/NZ1667!
It's a really good place for having a look around Port Lincoln, good view and peaceful, nice greenary.
Great views over Port Lincoln from top of mill. Steps are hard to distinguish from the next on the way down. It is an easy climb up.
Awesome views from the top looking over the town
Interesting info about the mill and has a perfect view of Port Lincoln

Most amazing experience ever. Owner was away but still answered every question I had (there were a few) and provided my family with amazing service. Hired 2 stand and 2 sit down boards and Scott provided us with tips on using and the most picturesque place in the national park to ride. We arranged collection of the boards from a mutual location due to the holidays but nothing was too hard or strange for Scott to handle. Definitely hiring again next time we come To town. Thankyou
I booked two sandboards over the weekend. There were issues receiving attachments between mine and the owners phone. On the day I was meant to pickup the boards I advised I hadn’t received the information on where to collect the boards. Two hours later I finally got a reply. I dropped the boards back off to the owners mother’s house (where I picked them up) and hours later I received a txt asking why I still hadn’t returned the boards (see photo). The place where I returned the boards wasn’t hard to see so I’m not too sure why I was being accused of not returning the boards. Also, if it takes two hours to reply to a customer, despite being at a festival as the owner stated he was at, maybe hire someone to handle enquiries. I’ve since bought my daughter her own sandboard.
Hired two stand up paddle boards and we had a great time! Was an easy walk from the shop to the water, and we got excellent training on how to use the board and best enjoy the water. Also got some great tips for other places we should think of visiting on the Eyre Peninsula!
Rented two sandboards, a sit down and a stand up. Went to Lincoln national park. Heaps of fun! And saw Emu's in the dunes. Very helpful and friendly staff!
Really great service! I called past Christmas Eve on a whim (yes I’m one of those) but the store front was closed, so I phoned up and Scott was more than accommodating - I walked away that afternoon with my first paddle board! Couldn’t recommend Xtreme Kites & Paddle higher!
Rang them because I had broken the pump for my inflatable kayak. They were closing for winter but Scott said he would get one from the store and meet me at the Coffin Bay turnoff. Fantastic service
Great day sand boarding on our half day hire, Scott was very helpful as where to go with good directions to get there , parks passes and easy pick up of equipment , a great couple of hours.
Great fun! Very affordable equipment hiring.

It's an incredible monument. Extremely large and made from white marble. Such a shame to see it blemished by graffiti and those that would deliberately try to chip the rock to leave their initials. Historical significance of this site. You can google search it for details. You can see in all directions up here. The walk up isn't too much effort. My 5 year old made it easily enough. It can get hot here and the flies are oppressive. Take plenty of water. Allow yourself about 1 hour return so you can take your time. Be careful of snakes. Might be lucky and see other wildlife here too.

Lovely art, gifts, and so much to look at in a a smallish space. We bought some fantastic pieces.

Wonderful little theatre with a touch of classic class. Only visited when they had the market on but it was a fun morning out which the kids enjoyed. These was a variety of craft and products both hand made and commercial to select from. Cold drinks and food were also able to be purchased.
Your exhibition of Elisa Martin (my sister) was sublime & a wonderful tribute to her amazing talent. Thank you to the individuals involved.

Very cute cottage providing a peek into a family's life all those years ago. We were lucky we happened to be there on a Wednesday as it has very limited opening times. A nice way to spend an hour.

What a great little fruit and veg shop. Needed some eggs and they had plenty. Wish I’d gone there before going to Cole’s and Woolies. Definetly recommend🤗. You can even get a coffee while your there and bakers delight was in the same building as well.
Prices seemed very expensive. Bananas $8 per kg, lemons $7 per kg. 170g of poor quality, roughly 85% choc coated almonds $8.99 or $52.90 per kg and 150g of cashews $8 roughly or about $52 per kg. Cost me $24.52 for 3 small bananas, 1 lemon and the 2 small nut containers.
Great variety of produce. Pies and coffee too. Tim Tam Tuesday, that’s a free Tim Tam with every coffee. Yum

Wifey and i enjoyed our little hike up to Stamford hill whilst visiting Lincoln National Park. Great view up the top! Can get windy so hold onto your hat once up at the top and there are a lot of flies but that didn’t stop us!
The view is epic. You will see different varieties of native flowers in Spring. Moderate walk, it took us about an hour (return) to finish as we stopped and enjoyed the scenery at points.
Beautiful walk with amazing views up the top. You can extend the walk by returning past woodcutters ruins.
Great view! Worth short walk
Good hiking and best place to watch the sunset
Nice easy walk with info boards along the way - interesting read on its historical significance.
