This place is a hidden gem. That level of food was not expected out in the middle of Windsor and at an old church. It's amazing. The pork was great. The tzatziki was smooth and fresh. The drinks choices were great. Cocktail list was amazing. If that's church. Call me Christian!! Top top marks. Friendly guy behind the bar who served us. Opened outside so it's fresh and airy. Really really highly recommend a visit. It'll be worth the drive out.
Amazing little find... if its brekky, a wholesome lunch or a sneaky coffee or beer! This place has charm. Great food options, great staff, and today live music. This place can handle large groups too!
Would have been 5 stars had the medium rare steaks not all been served medium well (seems to be a common thread in reviews). Great little place in Windsor with a pet friendly beer garden, live music, a huge menu, and good selection of beers on tap. The cheesy garlic bread is particularly good.
went last saturday had a booked table for 8 people. i had a tab set up for all my guests ( all family) to stream line the orders. the food entree and mains were enjoyed by everyone in the party.drinks and food was priced reasonably. finished with a few deserts an coffee. we all decided this was a great night for wife's birthday. atmosphere was great and so was the food. we''ll be back.
Best venue to host my wife's "funeral for her youth" themed 30th birthday, Ash (manager) was a fantastic point of contact and was more than happy to provide grazing platters and accommodated our decorations, the staff (whilst being busy the entire time) where perfectly polite and efficient and even sourced some birthday candles that we forgot ... Fantastic, food, great atmosphere, incredible staff and highly HIGHLY recommend the Korean inspired chicken wings with a pint of the church bar larger !!!! Perfection 😁 15/10 Venue and must go !!!
Could this possibly have been the best surf and turf I have ever eaten? Steak that melted in your mouth topped with prawns, scallop and bug. Amazing. Our first time here with the initial attraction being one of our party needing gluten free food. The offerings were fantastic. The butchers board better quality and taste than what's on offer at Ossos or Hurricanes. Diane sauce that didn't just taste like gravy. We all went with the meats so it wasnt a cheap eat but definatley coming back to explore the menu. Only negative would be the food came out a little haphazardly.
Interesting and quirky restaurant with great staff. We had a table for 8 and every meal came out together, nobody sat waiting whilst others ate, and all served promptly. Excellent steaks ordered from medium well, to rare, and every one of them served as requested. Definitely recommended and look forward to another visit.
Have been to the church bar many times and always enjoy it. The food is amazing. The entrees are dumplings scallops and baked brie are amazing. For the first time I shared the meat platter with a friend and it was beautiful. The corn ribs on the platter were so tasty. It was fantastic well worth trying. We will definitely be going back.

Fantastic markets set in a villagesque atmosphere with an amazing array of handicrafts and home made goodies including jams. Great day out and I highly recommend a visit.
Windsor Market is such a gem! A great mix of fresh produce, local goods, and friendly vendors. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it’s a great spot to pick up quality fruit, veggies, and even a few unique handmade items. Love that it supports local businesses and farmers. Perfect for a weekend stroll and stock-up!
Great spot for anybody wanting to Escape The Hustle and bustle of the city, Windsor has markets pubs, restaurants, historic landmarks, even has a piano for anyone to play, and is right by the mighty Hawkesbury River with its barbecue and grassed areas along with its Sandy Beach it makes for a great weekend Escape.
Windsor is a small town situated on the Nepean River. Its very popular with weekend visitors. Interesting shops. Plenty of cafes & clothing shops.
A small shopping mall housing Woolies, a chemist, and some other small businesses. Handy if the basics are needed. Parking is available and a lift if mobility is an issue
Amazing place! Being able to meet farmers and shop owners themselves who farm and sell their own produce is so humbling! Great experience and a place you have to visit!
The best thing to do a Sunday morning? Wake up and head to Windsor and it's Sunday Markets. Enormous selection of makers selling their home made goods, friendly people around, great cafes and 2 fantastic pubs at either end when it nears lunch time. Love coming here every time I find myself in Sydney in a weekend, and will keep coming back as long as it's there!
Wash there for Easter Sunday for a family picnic didn't think anything was going to be on but great to see

I had the recovery massage with Halyna. The whole experience was wonderful. I will definitely be returning and I can't thank Halyna enough
Michelle and Kylie were absolutely amazing! Me and my fiancé have never felt so relaxed, would 100% do this again! Thank you so much Michelle and Kylie, you two are amazing!
Highly recommend Katie at Villa Thalgo. She made the treatment so comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. Her attention to detail in her massages is next to none. Great pressure, good transitions, super friendly - I will be back.
I had the Spa Elements Ritual by Sharon and it was truly amazing. I have never felt more relaxed. It felt like I was floating on air. Highly recommend Villa Thalgo. This place is awesome
I booked a mini facial with the LED light use last week. The lovely young lady who completed my treatment was named Lux. She was an absolute treasure of a young lady, so polite and gentle with my skin and treatment. Lux is very knowledgeable, I asked about my skin type, other treatments she would suggest as I had a couple others in mind etc. She was truly a breath of fresh air, I had an incredible experience and I want to thank Lux. I will be booking with her again for my next treatment. My skin was absolutely glowing and so plump! It felt amazing.
absolutely unique and picturesque dayspa that is stunningly beautiful. heated pool, sauna, hydro jet spa, 16 treatment rooms, highly experienced and friendly therapists. I have been to nearly every high end day spa I can imagine and this one rates in my top 3! a MUST to experience! easy parking, food and beverages available. wheelchair accessible.
Although the original place is under renovation, the temp arrangement wasn’t bad at all. The lady who gave me a hot stone massage was very kind & knowledgeable. She attended to all my aches & pains. I really felt relaxed & rejuvenated.
Had Tina for a back and foot massage. She applied the best amount of pressure and it was such an amazing experience. Thank you Tina!

Our stay at this resort was only overnight, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a lovely property that oozes relaxation. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Due to the short stay, we didn't get to use many of the facilities on offer, but we are looking forward to a return visit, which is longer so that we can truly enjoy the resort in full. We enjoyed dinner in the Barracks Bar and the food was great. The Gazebo Restaurant is a great location for breakfast. It's bright and airy and a great start to any day. But what stood out the most to us was the service. All the staff we dealt with, the reception, the restaurants, even staff we met in the corridors, they were all wonderful. Very pleasant, polite and helpful.
I’ve been wanting to stay at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury for years, and I’m happy to say it absolutely did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warm smile by a gentleman named Fuba at the front desk. His attention to detail, friendly manner, and overall professionalism were outstanding. He checked us in quickly and efficiently, clearly explained the hotel layout and facilities, and made sure we knew exactly how to get to our room. Every interaction we had with him throughout our stay was just as pleasant—he’s truly an asset to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with plenty of fresh and delicious options, and the Harvest Restaurant served beautiful meals with friendly, efficient service. We also made great use of the hotel facilities, including the pool, gym, and sauna, all of which were clean, well-maintained, and added even more enjoyment to our stay. The grounds and gardens are absolutely stunning—peaceful to walk through, with lovely water features, fountains, and even the occasional water dragon wandering by. Our daughter had a wonderful time running around and exploring the gardens as well. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. A beautiful property, excellent service, and special thanks again to Fuba for making our stay exceptional. Highly recommended!
We recently held our Wedding at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Working with Nicole made the entire planning process smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. From the moment we first met her, Nicole’s professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail stood out. She listened carefully to what we envisioned and went above and beyond to bring it to life. No question was too small, no request too difficult, she handled everything with calm confidence and clear communication. She coordinated every moment with precision and a genuine smile, making sure we could simply relax and enjoy the night. Thanks to her, the event flowed effortlessly and exceeded every expectation.
We recently celebrated a milestone birthday lunch for my mother at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury and it was absolutely incredible. The team went above and beyond in every way – even surprising her with balloons in the colours of her favourite football team without us asking. The service was impeccable, the table was beautifully set, and the food - well it was exceptional. We dined from the Barracks Bar menu and every dish was complimented. Two people had the Spaghetti Aglio with prawns, both saying it was the best they'd ever had. They also prepared a beautiful dessert and cheese board, in place of a birthday cake, and it was just delicious. Very thoughtful. The lunch could not have been more special and we were genuinely touched by the attention to detail. Highly recommend.
The place is a combination of classic and modern. When we arrived, there was a large park area, and check-in was quick and easy. The young man who attended to us gave us a map of the hotel with all the important points marked. The room was what we expected: spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet wasn't extensive, but it was delicious and fresh. The best part was the spa and the massage service we had. We ran out of time and were unable to enjoy the pool. Definitely, We would stay there again.
Was here for a wedding and we had stellar service and experiences. Julie from the front desk and Samantha and Crystal from the Events team/staff were incredible and are just really damn good at their jobs. Venue is great and it's a beautiful location, only thing is the phone reception is non existant but the staff are really upfront and helpful with this as they can't control that. I have unusual food allergies and am gluten free that was catered for, the breakfast was great and varied and the poke bowl and chips from the bar are sooo good. GF safe and my mother, a Coeliac with additional allergies and sensitivities, was catered for, I would say it is gluten free friendly with many options. Rooms were clean and well cared for. The bride and groom were well looked after by the onsite staff as well. I want to shout out again the staff that made the wedding happen, Samantha, Crystal, Nicole, the servers, and Julie at the desk. They all were extremely professional, personable, and kind
We stayed for two nights recently and because of our loyalty status we were upgraded to a junior suite. The room was bright and spacious with extremely comfortable king bed, generous sofa and small balcony. The updated bathroom had plenty of room and had a freestanding bath plus separate shower. We loved the access to the adults only swimming pool and hydro pool, kids had a separate indoor pool which was great. Due to two weddings being held, the bistro, was overly busy and far too small to allow guests to dine, and the lobby had oversized uncomfortable furniture. Staff were excellent and personable and overall we had a lovely two days. Thanks.
Highly recommended for wedding reception and other events. Staff in the reception were a delight Compliments to the chef. GF food offered. 👌🏻 Garden is well manicured The gravels path to the "chapel" perhaps should be levelled and not lose stones. Parking ushers: 2/10 Bar staff: 6/10 Free slushies: 10/10 Billiard room: 8/10 Lobbie: 10/10

Amazing little museum. The stories behind some of the pieces were fascinating, and the kids really enjoyed discussing what they had learned, with the coin exhibit being one of their favourites. It was interesting to see the difference in the size and style of the shoes and clothing in the past, with the kids eagerly sharing their theories as to why these items seemed so much smaller than today. The staff member at the front desk was very helpful with his suggestions and provided us with a map, which allowed us to explore more of the heritage and history of the area. Great day out for the whole family
Great little museum about the history of the region but particular Windsor and the Windsor bridge. No access fee and you don't need too much time to go through it so I would definitely recommend paying the place a visit if in the area. There are some options to buy some souvenirs as well.
Its a must visit place where the memories of hawkesbury local area have been preserved nicely. There is an attempt to touch on the indigenous significance of the area as well as excerpts from modern history. Entry to the museum is free and there are various reading pieces available to take away near the reception area.
Very nice, modern museum with a good collection of objects related to Aboriginal and European history. Free entry and not far from the river.
A nice little museum with some great exhibits, It was very enjoyable day and the staff are pleasant well mannered.
"This history museum is a treasure trove of knowledge! The exhibits are captivating, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past. The attention to detail and interactive displays make the experience engaging for all ages. A must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and a great educational outing for families."
Great museum with so much history of the Hawkesbury. My son loved the paper plane workshop! Staff went above and beyond for my son and we learnt a lot. A must visit

Top fishing spot! If you enjoy fishing that is... at night... It's well lit up for you to see... I got some serious bites but couldn't set the hook..
Small but regionally relevant. Well presented & v informative. The gentleman (literally) on front desk knew his exhibits & local history & was very obliging with info on other regional attractions. A great Sunday morning outing. Thankyou
Lovely BBQ lunch on the Hawkesbury River. Very Relaxing, crew very friendly and welcoming
What an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Shout out to the amazing staff who returned to pick us up as we just missed the boat due to bridge construction. Advise people to arrive a little earlier. Food was lovely and the scenery was just what we were after. Highly recommend.
My husband and I were given the Sunday lunch cruise for Christmas from our granddaughter and a friend. We had a lovely time. Crew were friendly and helpful. Food was good choice fish and 2 meats. Tables were laid out with immaculate white table clothes. The ucelalia was perfect for the trip. We made some friends which was lovely. The weather was dull but that didn't matter. Would go again. Well done.
Thankyou to everyone that made my daughters wedding a very memorable occasion. The staff were great. Food was great and such a great atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed themselves. You all went above and beyond to make the day special for Kris and Simone and once again Thankyou. I would definately recommend the experience. Xx
Great food, friendly staff, lovely smooth ride down the Hawkesbury!
Great experience, staff are definitely the friendliest people you could wish to meet. I cannot recommend this cruise highly enough. Great value, great scenery, great staff, great day out. 10 out of 10.

Nice art gallery with talented local artists work. When I visited the staff were very friendly and there was a great art display about the fires of 2019/2020. Free entry.
Great little gallery with lovely staff and a terrific space for kids/family activities. Their shop was filled with beautiful pieces by local artists. It would be nice to see a little more support in way of opening the library and gallery at the same time and events to draw visitors between the two, etc. since it seems to be a little forgotten on the upper floor which is a shame for such a lovely space.
Lovely open gallery with high quality exhibitions. Lovely staff and volunteers. A real jewel that other council areas should envy
Small and nice gallery for art lovers. Receptionist is amazing and helpful person.
Great place!! Wish it was bigger with more exhibits
As an award winning landscape photographer being selected by the hawksberry gallery and ferry artist gallery at wisemans ferry nsw was a awesome experience and proud moment just 2 be able to display my photography and Diana and the team are very kind, professional and understanding and it's definitely a visit worth coming to see all the different works of art from around the local area if I get a nother chance to display my award winning landscape photography again I definitely would thanks again hawksberry regional gallery
Good parking and accessibility. Exhibition was exceptional. Good lighting and arrangement. However entry not pram friendly and nobody was willing to help neither during our entry or exit. I left feeling like my child (6 months old and very well behaved, didn't cry at all and is a very quiet, friendly, clean, happy baby) was seen as a nuisance just for being present. I brought him along for his first art exhibition hoping to give him a good first exposure to art and left feeling like he was not welcome.
I hadnt been in art gallery for some time. I was totally blown away!!! Told the artworks were local artists!!! I am lost for words to tell just how diverse n powerful n soooo very wonderful the artworks are....as someone who cant even paint my nails successfully i was truely humbled. But so proud...cant wait to tell all i meet. Plus very nice women i met.

A challenging course. Small greens, narrow fairways. Playing partners were some of the nicest people I've ever met and are a credit to the club. I was made to feel very welcome. The round in a comp on a Saturday with a cart was $67👍
I have played Windsor a couple times since it's close and normally cheap Green's out of the 18 at least 10 of the green's have huge dirt marks / divot marks where if your ball lands it or on the other side you have to chip over which is a joke for a green, but still (cheap course so is expected) Every time I have played here, the Tee's have not been mowed recently the grass is as high as the actual Tee I place down to drive from?? now I expect all this as normally the course is relatively cheap for what you get. Now I have always only played 18 holes here. prices I have paid with a cart have been, $26,$40,$26,$38,40 (sometimes with a drink) Yesterday I paid $65 for only 9 holes and a cart for myself, when I have 60% less than that for 18 holes?? This course is not a $65 course and for 9 come on.
The bar and bistro staff are awesome to deal with, nothing is too hard for them. The location is awesome overlooking the hawkesbury and the blue mountains in the distance. Will be definitely coming back with friends and family
Good course with interesting holes. Fairways are lush right now and the greens were slow today, slowed even further with lots of surface dew early morning. Needed a good mow. If the greens were faster, I would have easily given it 4 stars. Very friendly staff at pro shop and clubhouse which always makes the experience better.
The course was was in great condition despite the recent excessive rain. Club house beers were cold, chips were hot. Couldn't ask for more.
Good course. Bunkers are gravel pits as they haven't added Sand in quite a while, especially 18th
Pace of play is so slow. Waiting on every shot. Does anyone from the club enforce the pace of play? 90 minutes for 5 holes so far. 2 hours and 40 minutes for 9 holes. Course is in very average condition too. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.
Had lunch today had the burger meal with chips omg soft meat the flavour texture look and it just melts in your mouth i would highly recommend haveing lunch breakfast here thank you so much to the restaurant team

I don't like to bad mouth pubs... Especially ones in my area... I love supporting your local and having pride in what my area has to offer, making it easy to recommend other to pubs... I. Ant say any of this for this pub. I'm sure it great for those who drink there all the time. The bar staff are actually very nice. But the whole place lacks atmosphere and appeal. I'd love to see it have a makeover.
Excellent old fashioned friendly country pub
Great music nights on Tuesday you can listen to other artists which is interesting
Great old school pub that many would suggest needs renovations , but why would you ? Don't change Railway.

Great golf course and good maintenance, perfect for a day out with the family
Busy for a Monday afternoon but got a slot easily! The man at the pro shop was very helpful and friendly. Good green for a round of golf that is close to home and without the stress of membership fees (my partner and I enjoy playing but we don’t get to play as often to merit getting a membership at a club). Paid $56 for a cart and 2x adults.
They have done a great job getting the course back operational so soon after the floods. The lady behind the desk was very lovely to talk to and helpful. She was great when talking to my son. As they didn't have any rental putters in his size she discounted the putter that I bought for him.
Management and staff have worked super hard to repair the course after the floods. The greens are great and fairways are mostly very good. My wife and I really enjoy whacking a ball here and wish we could play as good as the course.
Really great course. 9 holes with 2 tee off boxes (making it 18). Has some hazards but a great fun course. Would definitely play again and recommend. (May be bias due to having a blinder)
Course is in great nick with all of the rain. Also good awareness from the team that I had a junior golfer eligible for a discount. $27.50 midweek for the two of us to play nine holes.
The rum Corp Barracks golf club is a really nice little nine hole course. if you play the mid week it is always very quiet and quite often there is not many crowds so it is a nice quiet days golf. it is very easy to lose a ball there as there is a quite a bit of bush and scrub on the sides of some of the fairways.
Absolutely disgusted by the service of the woman behind the counter, we were told our Ambrose golf style would be too slow for the course, (meanwhile the carpark was rather empty) and was then was accused of attempting to 'cheat' our way around paying for compulsory hire clubs (apparently each person, no matter age, must have a set of their own clubs). I highly recommend heading down to Richmond Golf Course where you won't experience such unprofessional attitudes and will be greeted with a rather nice course and customer service.

Me, my mum and my brother always go there for a good time and they always deliver what we expect. Good service pretty good food and GREAT bowling. I definitely recommend coming here for a break after a long day with your family.👍👍👍
We had our son’s birthday party here and the entire process was seamless. Martina was so helpful with the booking process and on the day all of the staff were so accommodating. Highly recommend this venue for a children’s party. Can’t be beat for value and fun!
We celebrated our son's 14th birthday at Tenpin Windsor and had a wonderful time with friends and family. Hats off to all the staff there who assisted with the arrangements. From the start Martina helped in sorting out everything and kudos to her support and untiring assistance. Our friends are looking forward to celebrate/spend time at Tenpin Windsor! Thanks guys for the great effort you put in!!
I recently had my sons birthday at Windsor ten pin bowling and can honestly say they are hands down the best party venue for kids in the area. I have fond memories of bowling here as a kid and love that it’s still around to take my kids to and host their party’s at! We had lots of kids but staff were very accommodating with lots of food for everyone it was just such an easy experience! I’m pretty sure all the kids had the best time! Would highly recommend you book your next kids party at this venue you won’t regret it! 🎳🥳 or just visit for some fun with the family 🥰 love supporting amazing local businesses where we can! ♥️
I recently hosted my son's birthday party at Windsor Ten Pin Bowl, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The Good: The young staff member running the games was great—friendly and engaging with the kids. The Not-So-Good: When we arrived, we were told there was no space in the fridge for our cake, even though we had paid a deposit and our table was already set up. The staff had a very unhelpful attitude about snacks, constantly reminding us of what we couldn’t do instead of offering solutions. We ended up buying chips and lollies from them, which was fine—but the issue was their approach. No space to store shoes, which is odd for a bowling alley. Mixed messages about food—first, we were told snacks had to be pre-ordered, but minutes later, kitchen staff said everything on the menu was available. The kids' meals were part of the package, and we just wanted some extra snacks for the adults. Had to ask multiple times for the table to be cleaned before we could serve the cake. The seating wasn’t great—small tables and stools that weren’t comfortable for kids. Cleanliness could definitely be improved. Throwing a kids' party is already stressful enough, and the staff's attitude and lack of support made it even harder. I love supporting local businesses, but I also expect basic customer service. Sadly, this wasn’t a great experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for birthday parties.
Fantastic place. Great food! Staff are super friendly and funny. They have a great sense of humour. Prices are awesome. It's super clean. Plenty of space in the car park. They even have a recycling unit to return bottles and cans!
Great place reminds me of the good old times when I was a kid going bowling. It has the traditional look
Great place to go bowling. I used to go there as a kid and now I take my kids there as well! Usually pretty easy to get a lane but I’ve always booked ahead just to make sure there’s no disappointment

Demi is very professional at what she does and an excellent beautician. I highly recommend Demi for your next appointment. You won’t regret it ♥️
Julie and her team are amazing. They are so cheerful and lovely and Julie herself is one of the best wax technicians out there. She is so thorough and cares about her clients satisfaction. Every time I’m there I have the best experience and always leave 100% happy with my service. I cannot recommend her enough!
