We got married at Yering Station in 2012 and it was spectacular. Could not recommend it highly enough. But today we went back for lunch to show our kids this incredible place 13 years after our wedding. The meal was amazing and the serves generous. The view and atmosphere are stunning. We had so much fun just hanging out after lunch - it was 5pm so we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the cellar door was open until 6pm. We went in for a tasting. WOW! The wines were so much better than we remembered, but even more wonderful was the experience. The beautiful staff not only made us feel welcome, they completely spoiled us with our tasting, bringing out a bottle of Chardonnay from the year we were married to taste then really engaging with us talking all things wine and life. The wines were delicious, the service was even better. Obviously we signed up for the wine family (which was more than worth it!). Thank you Yering Station for making my Mother’s Day celebration so special this year x
Wine tasting and lunch at Yering Station was one of the highlights of our Melbourne trip. I was delighted to try some delicious red wines and enjoy a wonderful lunch there. The beautiful surroundings, elegant décor, and friendly staff make it an outstanding restaurant and winery. Highly recommend.
I was really excited for this one. We went for the wine tasting on a beautiful sunny day, the kind of weather that makes you want to be outdoors enjoying the view. Unfortunately, the tasting itself takes place indoors in a fairly dim room with very little natural light, which felt like a real shame. With such gorgeous surroundings outside, it seemed like a missed opportunity to create something special. During the tasting, four different staff members poured for us. Three of them asked what we had already been served, which made the whole experience feel a bit disorganized and not as smooth or welcoming as I was hoping for. The wine pours also felt quite small -more like a sip than a proper tasting- and I think most people would agree after seeing the photo I’ve attached. Inside, the décor follows a pop-art theme with Andy Warhol replicas. Normally, I appreciate that style, but here it felt completely unrelated to wine, wine tasting, or the heritage of the vineyard. Instead of enhancing the atmosphere, it actually worked against the rustic, old-world vibe that the place itself naturally carries. That said, the outdoor area is stunning. The grounds are well kept, with a beautiful grassy area out front and a lovely lookout point that really makes you stop and take it in. It honestly left me thinking how perfect it would be if the wine tasting were moved outdoors, perhaps with a small kiosk or bar set up in the middle of the lawn. With the sunshine, scenery, and a glass in hand, that would transform the experience into something unforgettable.
You can't fault much here. The service, food and atmosphere is exceptional. However, there was a fault in the steak option that I paid extra for on top of what my parents had already paid for a 3-course meal. It might not seem like a big deal, but since I asked specifically for "true medium rare", not medium, which it ended up exactly being on my plate, that was disappointing, being such a high quality piece of meat. Other than that, it was an amazing lunch, and had me bursting at the seams. I could have just had the pork belly entree and pistachio dessert and been satisfied.
Had a great meal at Yering station. Great service beautiful views great menu and flavours. Everyone enjoyed every dish. Loved my prawn entree. The fish main was perfect. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Front of house Trixie was very professional. Wines were great. Deserts were delicious. Highly recommend will def return.
We had a very odd and dissapointing experience at the restaurant. We had booked lunch using a luxury escape voucher which included a main, choice of wine and two shared sides. The only positive was how well cooked the meats were and how tasty the wine was. Other than that, our experience was very strange. The strangest part or our experience was the use of potato off cuts in our roasted potato side - see picture below. I have never before seen potato fondant off cuts and bits of potato eye served to guests. It's really incomprehensible and unappetising. We ended up leaving the potato dish. The salad was also quite terrible - it literally looked like a Coles pre chopped salad mix that was topped with a few sprigs of dill and some goats cheese. The leaves were barely dressed and very plain tasting. Onto the main meals, which ended up being quite odd as well. The cuts of meat were very tasty and well seasoned. The biggest negative was the random pastry basket served with the pork and holding chopped apple. The basket was pale, undercooked and soggy. It didn't really add anything to the dish. The duck dish was also a bit odd with an undercooked cannelloni filled with pulled duck and cabbage. This was bland and underseasoned also. While both dishes looked pretty, they left much to be desired and not worth the cost or effort. Overall, we would not be back and we wouldn't recommend to others. There are much better choices in the Yarra Valley (and much better luxury escape deals as well). Be warned.
Beautiful Vinyard with celler door and restaurant. Simple elegant feels with vase space. We went to cellar door to get a cheese platter and a glass of wine as we arrived too early for our lunch booking. There are a small number of outside table for you to enjoy the cheese board and wine and it was super delicious. The celler door staff was super friendly and professional, compared to my recent visit to Pt.Leo celler door where staff would just ignored you. We then moved to the restaurant after we finished the cheese board. Lovely open space in the restaurant area with glass wall from floor to ceiling open to the landscape! I was going to do the 3 courses and finish with dessert to share with my partner but the food size was really substantial I was way too full and couldn't even finish my fish main. 😞 My entree of scallops with bacon was so good, a little too much of pumpkin. The barramundi with eels mashed was very tasty as well, but also feel like there are too many things on the plates. Overall I enjoyed my food. My husband entree was great but the main is a little bland. Definitely recommend the cellar door for wine tasting and cheese platter for chill out outdoor on a good sunny day 😎🌞
Had an amazing lunch at Yering Station today! The view over the vineyards was stunning, and the food was just as incredible. The beef was perfectly cooked and everything on the plate was full of flavour. The entrée was super pretty and tasty too. Great wine, lovely service, and a super relaxing vibe. Definitely one of the best lunch spots in Yarra Valley! 🍷🌿

As you walk through the rather unassuming entry you are immediately struck by the amazing smell of cheese. The dairy shop is well organised and well priced. One of the best things is that the staff are incredibly friendly and willing to chat and answer questions on cheese making. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable. We enjoyed the $5 cheese tasting (4 cheeses), which was delicious and generous. A $15 tasting is also available (10 cheeses). We were determined not to purchase, however the tasting was so good, we left laden with cheese and delicious takeaway cheese cake. They have an amazing menu for lunch as well. If you are in the Yarra, this place is a must for a visit. BLESSED are the CHEESE MAKERS!
My first-ever cheese tasting and it was AMAZING! 🧀 We got to try 10 cheeses for just $15/pp – such a good deal! The staff were super friendly and explained everything so well. Loved exploring their little shop full of boards, cheese cutters, spreads & more. We grabbed a milkshake + a super strong caramel latte (hello, caffeine kick ☕️), and also tried the cheesecake and their famous brie hotpot. You HAVE to try the chili brie hotpot – it’s next-level delicious!
Beautiful little stop in the Yarra Valley! The cheese tastings were generous and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the marinated goat cheese and truffle brie. The setting is stunning with views over the hills, and it’s the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine. A must-visit if you’re in the area.
Yarra Valley Dairy was a really good experience. Their cheeses were fresh and full of flavour, and the whole place has a relaxed country vibe that makes it enjoyable. I ordered the Fancy Ferment Pastrami toasty and it was amazing. I just wish there was a little more pastrami inside the toasty because the flavour was spot on. The staff were friendly and the setting is perfect for a day trip. A fun and easy place to stop for quality local food.
Been years since I was here. Its a little delight for cheese lovers with their signature Persian feta a must try. cheese tastings are v reasonable. staff friendly and really knowledgeable. also enjoyed the Yering Valley Apple cider.
We came here to particularly visit a cheese farm. Its a 1.30 hour drive but it was worth it. The shop and cafeteria is inside an old shed (maybe a milking shed), small but cosy. Its charming. There was a section where you can have a tasting of cheeses, a section where they have sll sorts of artisan goodies on sale and a few tables to sit down and eat. We had the Farm Platter which had cow's and goat's Cheeses with fresh bread, crackers, relish, quince paste and we added some olives & cold meat. It was delicious and superb! Bought some goodies too. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Parking was plenty . Highly recommend this place.
Went for the cheese tasting and of course it was incredible. Unfortunately it is heavy with the the goats cheese (not a fan personally) so I could only try a few but so happy and very unique cheeses. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. They have some great condiments which would have been good if there was samples, I believe they would sell more if there was samples. Thank you!
We took some friends out for lunch and it was an overall excellent experience. The cheese was delicious, and the staff friendly. As we got our tasting platters, they pointed out which cheeses were which, and even recommended which ones to start with based on strength. Would definitely recommend.

Located in Lilydale this airport offers skydiving joy flights and hot air ballooning. Hot air Ballooning is a short distance away. All up Victoria Rd. Also there are many wineries to visit in the area which is the Yarra Valley. I moved here around a year ago. Churnside Park off Victoria Road. These attractions are within 15 minutes driving distance. Including Mount Dandenong Ranges. Beautiful scenery.
The experience was great. Loved the feeling of flying in the sky. Staff was nice as well. There were games at the venue to entertain yourself while waiting for your turn. But I am highly disappointed with the photos and video. When we pay for something we expect something. My expectations were totally ruined. The instructor forgot to include my face in the photos. I think the reason was that I was taller than the instructor. So disappointed.
Absolutely breathtaking! My skydiving experience was incredible thanks to the amazing team, from the ground crew to the pilot and the outstanding instructors. A special shout-out to AK, who provided an exceptional experience. AK thoroughly explained everything before the dive and captured some incredible photos. Despite a parachute malfunction, AK's control during the ride was beyond imagination. Safety and excitement perfectly balanced. Highly recommend this team for an unforgettable adventure!
Awesome experience. Went as a birthday gift 🎁. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely do it again.
My daughter has balls.com.LOL ❤️ First time jump with no fear no hesitation. Keen as mustard!! Make any Dad proud.
Had the best experience for my 3rd dive with Lee!! Thanks heaps making another amazing memory to take with me
What an awesome experience and an absolute thrill! If you're after an activity that provides a solid adrenaline rush, Skydive has you covered. With a friendly and experienced team, I knew I was in for a treat. Thanks for a great time. We ended up purchasing the photos and video that was provided on a USB stick as well for great memories.
Had the best experience today!! A massive thanks to Kev, I felt so safe and comfortable. Will definitely be doing it again!

What a wonderful memorable experience. We were so lucky to have the very knowledgeable and friendly Megan to guide us through the wine tasting. We loved that it was such a personal intimate experience and such a family oriented Winery. You could feel the love in every sip after Megan told us the history of the farm. We purchased the "One on One" bottle to take away as it was a very unique idea from growing to harvesting. The view was amazing and this rustic winery was definitely our favourite one visited on our holiday.
First stop in my wine tour. The wine tasting was conducted in a wooden room with simple minimalistic decor. There's even a wood burning stove to provide heat, giving a rustic feel / atmosphere to it. Being family owned, their setup doesn't have the over commercialized feel to it. Which is good. You can feel the personal touch rather than the sometimes sterile character of a commercial operation. I simply love it.
Absolutely amazing! We stopped by Yering Farm on our way back to Melbourne. We were so kindly greeted by a host for the tasting who immediately welcomed us and our dog. She was incredible - I only wish I knew her name. I tasted 3 incredible Pinot Noirs and 2 Cab Savs. The host was impressively knowledgeable about the wine and history of the vineyard. Thank you for a fantastic experience! We left with a few bottles, with the One by One Pinot Noir in mind for a special event.
Visited in Nov 2025 Visited Yering Farm Cellar Door as part of our Yarra Valley winery tour. The tasting menu comprised 4 wines (1 white, 1 rose, 2 reds) and 1 Apple cider. This winery is known for its apple orchard, and hence their cider is quite popular. The tasting experience was decent but I didn’t end up buying a bottle as nothing stood out as exceptional to me personally. Service was very nice and the lady who was in charge of the tasting was very kind and patient in explaining the wines, and why they were chosen to be part of the tasting menu. Overall a decent cellar door to visit. The winery is known for its Cabaret Sauvignon and Apple Ciders, and if you’re a fan of those, then add this Cellar Door to your list when you visit Yarra Valley.
Wine tasting highly rated, wines were delicious and staff member was very interesting. Couldn't ask for him to be more interesting. Price of tasting is deducted from wine purchase, which is almost guaranteed, we bought 6 wines and very happy to take them home
Such a great place to visit. Dropped by due to Shedfest, but had also been here years ago as part of a winery tour and was desperate for an apple pie again. Attentive service for wine tasting and a great run through - I had left a different winery due to being ignored as a solo traveller. Returned on Sunday with a friend to get our dessert fix - absolutely delicious 😋 Doggo friendly which was fab
Gemma was absolutely amazing! So much knowledge on all the wines and so cheerful and bubbly. The wine was fantastic and so full of flavour. Thank you Gemma for such a great experience!
Convenient walking distance to the cellar door, plenty of space for any large groups wanting to stay together, lots to see and do around the property. The hospitality was awesome and thanks for having us on the weekend. Thanks Megan and Alan your white and red wine collections are awesome we can't stop drinking them. :)

Johnathan in the pro shop is great and helpful. Really nice course. Clean facilities, driving range, chipping area and 27 holes. Kangaroos are a delight to see amongst the beautiful views.
Yering Golf Club l joined in October 2024 and have just signed up for a full year. I’ve been a member of golf clubs for over 40 years and this club is very good. It has 27 challenging holes, undulating and plenty of water hazards, on 4 holes water hazards are right across the full fairway. I have a 2 day membership, can play on either Mon, Tues, Thurs or Frid, you need to nominate which days. Costs this year $1036 all up, including handicap, golf affiliation and insurance fees, in my opinion a BARGAIN.
Great value for golf. 4 people x 2 carts. $249 weekends, $199 weekdays. Cant go wrong. A lot more friendly for the average golfer now. 🏌️‍♂️.
A few weeks back, I had the pleasure of teeing off at this course with a friend. Overall, the course offers decent challenges and scenic views. However, significant improvements are warranted for the fairways and bunkers.
Good value, played here on Valley (10 to 18) and Homestead (19 to 27). I would sy the Valley course is much better than the Homestead tho heard that the Nursery is the best one. The fairway is friendly for a high handicap. The green fast and need to read it carefully. Pro shop is nice and modern. Take a coffee at the caffe won’t hurt after the game. Played here for the second time today at the Nursery from the Blue Tee, it is very long drive, and the green is trickier….hard to get the good score Overall it has been a great experience for me. suggest to book a tee off early in morning you to really enjoy the course.
This is such a terrible course, not well maintained and the members there do not have any golf etiquette. Better spend your money elsewhere than playing a full 18 round at this course. Also, the customer service is very disrespectful, where a guy beanie said that he’s “not a dragon” just because why my toast took so long. Lastly, they did not allow us to rent carts just because the weather forecasted drizzle which did not make any sense since the use of carts are shelter for the rainy weather
Highly recommended. For our special family birthday event we found Yering Meadows in the valley, is a professional high quality hospitality venue with great customer service, good prices and fabulous facilities. The location in the Yarra Valley is picturesque with gorgeous views provided the perfect backdrop to celebrate a significant birthday. We thought it was worthy and the menu was perfect. We found the short drive and accessibility catered for all our family to get to our event easily too. Yering Meadows ticked all the right boxes for us because we needed the right kind of place for a special family event. This had to cater to a wide variety of requests and needs. From dietary requirements to mobility and wellbeing. Right from the early planning stages to the closing of our event, we felt supported by the team at Yering Meadows. Christina and her team at were highly attentive to accommodate to all our family's diversity. Thank you. From the fine attention in decorating touches, especially in matching and co-ordinating sashes. To the choice of menu items, alongside the ease of parking for all our guests. All these services helped to contribute and make our event run smoothly and be an enjoyable success. The food was plenty, delicious, beautifully presented and we had a terrific choice. Everyone loved the juicy the dumplings and crunchy chicken. The beverages were also perfectly tailored to our needs too. We will be back and I will be bringing my friends up for a lunch and a spot of golf at the wonderful Yering Meadows. Thank you.
Ross Watson Glorious Design. The strategy required for brave or safe shots did/does not get enough credit at times. Edited to be more player friendly, still great thanks to the original shape of it all. Greens are gorgeous.

Went this morning and can I just say loved it. Anna is brilliant and knows her stuff and is very passionate when it comes to cooking. I have a new appreciation for pasta and the dishes were absolutely delicious. Throughly enjoyed myself and would highly recommend. Thanks Anna and team.
A wonderful weekend. I had done a cooking class with Anna a few years ago and it was memorable, a lot of fun and learnt a lot. This time we organised a group of eight and did the pasta making course. We made lasagna, ravioli and gnocchi. We were not disappointed. Lots of fun and a great way to connect with people in a different way. I am living proof you don’t need to be a great cook. To do this course. It has enough for foodies and for those that making toast is a stretch. Anna is on the ball and helps you to make it look easy. I was more relaxed I won’t say better because I had done it before. Then we got to eat all we cooked. The best lasagna I have eaten. All shared with a glass or two, amazing food and view. The team building was fantastic. The cannoli fresh are unbelievable and the coffee is the best in Melbourne. You will buy a pasta maker after this course. We will be back.
Attended Anna's pasta making class & learned some good tips and tricks to use in my own kitchen. Quite an informative and fun session overall, and even learned how to make a gluten free dough. We turned out some (way too much) delicious food (for our own lunch) and tasted some very nice wines while there too. Good fun, good food, good wine, great value 👍 Just do it
Loved home made Italian style wood fired Pizza. Good customer service. "Great atmosphere, great food and beautiful scenery" We loved it.
Today we did a pasta cooking course. Making pasta from scratch, 3 different types, and some sauces. Anna the Chef is a wonder teacher and worth coming for a lesson, or come to the winery for lunch.
Cooking class with Anna today was fantastic! 👌🏻 We had so much fun making lasagna, ravioli, and gnocchi. The lasagna was honestly the best we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back and try another class - Highly recommend! 🙂
Such a lovely spot with a homey vibe and beautiful scenery. We had delicious pizza, arancini, and a cheese platter ,everything was fresh and full of flavour. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy a relaxed meal
What a great day we had on Saturday with Anna cooking, she was brilliant and the food we learnt to make was amazing especially the lasagna.. And to top it off, great wines and one of the best views you will see in the Yarra Valley.

I’ve flown at a few schools around Australia. The process here was seamless, the price reasonable. The aircraft was in great condition and the instructor calm and professional. I intend to keep coming back here to finish my training. The training area is also gorgeous countryside and conveniently the airport is not in any kind of controlled airspace, no tower.
Gary flew us on a charter to outback NSW & South Australia over 2 nights, making our trip an absolute dream. He was very professional and polite - going to every measure to ensure our trip was enjoyable. Couldn't recommend him and the Lilydale Flying School (Yarra Valley Aviation) highly enough.
I am just starting out my flying lessons here and the first couple of lessons have been excellent. The aircraft are well maintained and the staff are professional and friendly. I am very much looking forward to coming back for some more flying lessons 🙂
I have booked the Trial Introductory flight for my partners birthday. Bianca was very helpful during the booking process. The flight was scheduled for 10am but it felt a bit chaotic that morning so the airplane only took off at 11:14am. They touched ground at 11:36am. I was surprised and thought something went wrong since 30 and up to 40 minutes flight time was promised. We both felt the flight may have been short because of running late? My partner did however have an awesome experience and his flight instructor Ezra was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Just a visitor on the weekend in my Bushcat - but found the lovely office staff (I think Renee?) super helpful and friendly - also a great strip! Thanks for having me :)
Great instructors, clean planes, super friendly staff all round. A great place to learn to fly.
Had an amazing lesson with Chris! Will definitely come back. Great views, great lesson and fantastic experience :)
So the company does both charters and flight training and tends to do the flight training under the name of "Lilydale Flying School". The people are great there and they are passionate and friendly. I would say the one negative is the training fleet is getting a bit older so you won't have the most modern glass cockpits but you get reasonable prices because of it.

I bought a flight for my husband for his birthday. From the booking to the actual flight, Damien could not do enough for us. Especially his communication & accommodating us with rebooking due to bad weather. Bucket list experience, 10/10 recommend booking this!
A fantastic afternoon joy flight in an old, classic aircraft. Hanger is at the back of the staff carpark, past the club house. Just look for the two green hangers closest to the runways. No staff present when both planes are out, so you have to wait until they return. Doesn't appear to be any drinks or food available at the airfield, so if you bring onlookers, they might want to bring something to eat or drink. Wam jacket provided if you didn't bring your own, you will need it. If your doing aerobatics, the weight limit is 100kg. It's an open air cockpit so you have to be cautious about how you use you camera/phone. Put it into the slipstream & you could lose it. Staff are professional & friendly & will talk you through all aspects of your flight experience. It was a fantastic experience that I would encourage everyone to do in their life.
AMAZING HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We purchased the flight for my Uncle's 80th Birthday. He had a thrilling time. All questions were answered and encouraged. We all had a great day and will return. Thank you all so much for a wonderful day see you again soon
Just completed a 60 minute flight with Damien in the Tiger Moth - what an experience! Damien is a great pilot and the plane is a joy to fly in! I’m giving this 5 stars only because I can’t give more! 😊
A once in a lifetime opportunity to experience flight in an open air, 80 year old Tiger Moth. From online gift purchasing made simple, to booking in for your flight, Damien is happy to answer all questions and has a lifetime of flying experience. What an awesome adventure and a view that is totally a MUST SEE over the Yarra Valley!
My son Liam is really getting into flying. Up until now it's been in passenger jets or on flight simulators. He asks me often to go down to Lilydale to watch the planes. I love our time together there, watching and talking about flight etc. There we saw the Tiger Moths flying past. And had seen the signs for these joy flights. I am battling stage 4 cancer so thought it'd be some great memory we could share. And it was even better than I could imagine. We rolled up and were met by a few chilled out guys. We felt relaxed and my son's mum, who is probably not on the most chilled side of the continuum, was put at ease. Don and his crew are as professional as you can get, they take any stresses away from boarding these planes, because they know their stuff. Anyway, me and my son went up and it was brilliant. Once in a lifetime experience for me. Thanks to Don and the team.
Best way to see the yarra valley. Second time doing this and will definitely do it again
Great experience..Don being a great operator & pilot. Lovely flight up the valley, finishing off with some aero's over the airfield.. highly recommend.

A great short walk with beautiful trees, wetlands, farm & river views.
A beautiful park with a 'figure 8' walking track, taking in views of the adjoining ranges and farmland. The Yarra River flows deep and strong through sections of the park, and the wildlife (flora & fauna) is plentiful. The only downside is that the land adjacent to Spadonis Reserve is a RC model aero club, which is annoying when trying to photograph wildlife who appear to get quite spooked with the annoying buzzing sound of the planes. Next to that is a gun club, and on days when that is open you're probably better off going elsewhere. Otherwisr the park is well looked after and flat, making it a very easy walk. Do note that there are snakes to be mindful of also!
Wide paths and well maintained landscapes in a scenic setting. Never too many people here but can be a little noisy at times from clay shooting at the Melbourne Gun Club located next door.
Nice views of the yarra River, and wildlife is great too! In one day on a jog I saw 2 tiger snakes, one wombat, and if you detour to the farm land near the gun range you'll see kangaroos.
Great reserve right on the river. Peaceful and we'll maintained.
Would have been lovely if not for the background noise of bogans with rifles and firearms, or young kids with toy aeroplanes overhead. If a nature walk is what you are seeking, go elsewhere. Has the potential to be an enjoyable walk, but avoid on weekends.
Lovely local walk that is excellent for dogs. However be careful in the summer as there is snakes. Very calm and tranquil on weekdays and off peak times. Great for a short run as well!
This is a beautiful spot, and I used to love the peace and quiet here, but since then I’ve had a few unsettling encounters, including seeing a drug deal go down and a man ‘taking care of himself’ out in the open. I won’t go there without my husband any more. It’s still a beautiful spot, but I think the secluded location does attract some shady characters.
