This venue is stunning! The wine is amazing! The staff are full of knowledge, and so welcoming! Dave looked after us and we thought he was so wonderful. He loves what he does! Very kid friendly too, they were so accommodating.
Really enjoyed visiting this winery in December 2024, just before New Years. My wife and I visited as part of a small winery tour. The setting was beautiful. The wine was very good and we had a lovely platter to share. Very picturesque with a hint of romanticism. Well worth a visit.
What a stunning location this is. The platter we had for lunch was simple but plentiful and tasted amazing. Cold meats, assortments of cheeses, olives, bread and crackers and more....oh and hot home made sausage rolls. The wine was worth the tasting, went lovely with the foid. The host and staff were all attentive and friendly.
2025 - Murray Street Wines balances between modern style and old-school charm. The tasting setup both indoors and out is sleek and paid, but the complimentary cheese board is a nice touch. Staff are genuinely friendly. Dogs are welcome on the lawn, which overlooks rows of vines that seem to stretch forever. The place is beautifully laid out, with the front gate adding a bit of wow factor. Would love to come back in summer, ideally with a glass in hand and some live music to round it out.
Absolutely a must to visit! Would’ve given a 10 star if we could. Catered to my food allergies and bent over backwards to accommodate! Staff were outstanding and knowledgeable. Setting was beautiful and the wines some of the best in the region!
What a lovely, serene establishment. Great staff, amazing wines. Really enjoyed our short spur of the minute visit. We will be back for a longer one in the future.
Glen, alongside Helen and Olivia, welcomed my partner and I into the tasting room last Sunday for the Estate tasting and a comprehensive charcuterie. Glen facilitated a relaxed and interactive tasting and was beyond accommodating (he stayed late to see our experience through!!) I’m a cab sav girl, but the Aria Shiraz bested some of my favourites—this was prior to tasting Va de Vie which had me in near tears (it won). The surrounds are stunning, especially the stone structures and bright vines against an overcast sky. Smell the roses if you can. We took advantage of the membership offered by Murray Street Vineyards and I left with a very special bottle. Thank you Glen for your expertise, Olivia for your generous platter, and Helen for settling our membership & order.
Dropped by Murray Street for a tasting with my partner and had a fantastic time. Connor was outstanding—warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging. He guided us through each wine with clear insights and great stories, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. My best recommendation: ask for Connor. We’ll definitely be back.

Hands down one of the most pleasant cellar door experiences! My wife and I had the Shiraz tasting along with a delicious tasting platter, the wines were phenomenal – all biodynamic and organic. It was our first time at their cellar door, and the laid-back, tidy setting really added to the experience. The staff were super friendly and clearly passionate about the wine and its history, which we enjoyed learning about. Definitely a new favorite for us. Highly recommend!
Awesome winery. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere.  The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can taste truly great wine. They have a lot of character and unique  vintages. My husband and I really enjoyed it. One of the great experiences of our trip. Recommended to all.
Our family group of eight had an unforgettable visit to Kalleske Wines cellar door on Saturday afternoon. The wines were absolutely outstanding- each one showcasing the true character and quality of the Barossa Valley region. What made the experience even more exceptional was the service provided by Cameron. From start to finish, Cameron’s knowledge, warmth, humour, and genuine hospitality set the tone for the perfect tasting experience. For our interstate guests, this was the ultimate example of Barossa Valley charm and generosity. We could not have asked for a better experience. Kalleske Wines is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy premium wines paired with world-class service.
This winery is a gem. Such a range of wines amd some very tasty reds! Service was excellent, thank you.
Wonderful Sunday afternoon wine tasting session. Jo has such a great knowledge of the region and the wines which made our experience so good. Generous tasting pours and excellent range of wines, make sure you put Kalleske at the top of your list when visiting the Barossa.
Prior to our trip to South Australia, it was recommended that we visit Kalleske Wines. Thankfully we were able to include it in our list of wineries for a custom Barossa Valley winery tour. When we arrived at Kalleske Wines we were warmly greeted by Jo. As it was late in the day plus a wet & unseasonably cold Monday, we were lucky enough to be the only customers during our time at the winery. Jo was an exceptional host with endless knowledge about the wine industry. I bombarded here with multiple random questions whilst doing a tasting, and she answered every question with confidence. I have been raving about Jo's exceptional customer service since our visit to Kalleske and will recommend that others visit the winery when visiting the region.
We did a group blind tasting and I have to say, it was one of the best wine tasting experiences I have ever had. All of the wine was great and Cameron was very knowledgeable, fun and friendly. Highly recommended!
Absolutely loved our experience at Kalleske. I took a group of 12 recently, late on a Saturday afternoon. They were one of the few wineries that would let us book in that late, which I appreciated. We shared a couple of platters with a few bottles of wine, sitting in the beautiful outdoor area. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The service was very attentive and the wines delicious! Wish I'd purchased more! Will be back. Highly recommended.

Sensational local brewery with a great range, especially fine pale ale. Chris and his partner have created an outstanding venue with a fabulous offering and a real passion for warm hospitality and great hospitality. Ask Chris to explain how his products are unique:-). Don’t miss going here if you visit Greenock!!
7 star review. This is a hidden gem!!!! Amazing service from what I presume was the owner, great beer and exceptional venue. As a result of our brief stop here we will be coming back and staying a weekend in the caravan park.
Owner was so lovely. Explained all the local beers and made us feel like we already knew him, not a tourist. Even gave us a map and directions to another brewery in the area. If we had more time, we'd spend our day there. And we are definitely going back. Beers were so tasty!
Wow, what an awesome place. Beers are magnificent and Chris ( the owner, brewer, barman) is really knows his stuff. I tried all beers and couldn't fault any. Great to see someone who is so passionate about his business. Nice Sunday arvo to chill and chat with locals.
This place could not be more brilliant. The berrs and company of the locals was the best thing I've ever experienced. Loved the whole atmosphere. Felt like part of the family instantly. Not just a brewery......an experience!
This cosy hideaway is so atmospheric! Had their lovely beers in front of an open fire and great conversation with the owner. Call in if you're staying in the beautiful Barossa for some true Australian hospitality!
Fantastic craft brewery work great owners, intimate setting, friendly locals, open fire pit, it's amazing. We come every year with the bus for the day. Great day out.
It felt like our experience had everything you could ask for. The owner was friendly and accommodating and gave us a tour of the brewery. The place was full of locals who were all super-friendly. The 'Aussie-ness' of this place felt like a scene out of Crocodile Dundee. They had nibbles on the counter to share as we sampled the beers. We bought a mixed 6-pack and then sat outside in the courtyard to enjoy another beer in the sun. It was perfect.

Genuinely an excellent experience. This winery is small and the wine was so delicious. Very plummy wines, smokey and some of the best I’ve tasted in a long time, not to mention Joseph and his excellent personable experience. It was friendly, relaxed and a very enjoyable way to learn about wine without feeling like I’m in school. A homey setting, with the vineyard lab and retriever farewelling us on departure.
Great wine tasting with Joseph, the winemaker. Was a unique experience that you don’t get from the larger cellar doors. The passion that Joseph has for wines was abundantly clear when he’s describing his process and his wines. The wine was delicious and we ended up purchasing some to ship back to the US.
What a wonderful experience and journey Joseph (winemaker and owner) took us on through his delightful range of seriously good reds. So knowledgeable, so passionate and his love for the craft and his experience and talent for winemaking emanates through every drop and is palpable through your tastebuds. Highly recommend!
I make an effort to take international guests here whenever business takes us to the Adelaide area. Ballycroft has a fantastic story, a penchant for hospitality, and superb wines. Joe and Sue are serious winemakers with a serious approach to how they sustain their business.
Joseph provides a unique and wholistic experience with information on the vines as well as production practices. His wines are amazing and his enthusiasm is contagious! Plus he has a Tesla charger! Did i mention we loved his wines?! Visit Joe. You won’t be sorry🥳
So we finally made it to visit Ballycroft after enjoying the wines for the last 13 wonderful years. The winery is impressive with solar cells providing all of the power needs and an EV parked nearby to store power and provide for the winery at night and on cloudy days. Joe Evans, the winemaker is one of the truly great characters of the Barossa. His passion for his craft is infectious and tasting the wines with him helps you live and breathe the wines. And then there are the wines. Since the 2009 vintage Revi and I have been Ballycroft drinkers. To drink the 2021 American and French oak shiraz offerings side by side was a privilage. In my humble opinion, I believe these are certainly the best wines from Ballycroft since 2012 and probably the best that we have ever had the pleasure to taste. The other wines were all spectacular but special mention to the Durif which was the inkiest wine I have ever seen. Thanks Joe. We look forward to seeing you in the west later this year.
This was the first stop on our 2-day winery tour and unforgettable. This is a winery that is well worth the visit, Joseph was an amazing host with so much enthusiasm for making wine, and it shows in the quality of his wines. They are big and bold but so refined! Thanks for making Glenn's 50th so special with the lovely personalisation in the box when we got home. We are loving your wines even more so at home when paired with a great meal! These wines are likely to become a regular staple in our home.
From all the winery’s I’ve been to across Australia this is by far the best. Jo offers an amazing experience. Genuine, humble and so knowledgeable. All wines were delicious. A must visit! Thankyou Joseph! ☺️

Incredible. Lincoln’s pride in his collection is outstanding. He is so welcoming and informative. His artwork was a pleasant surprise as well - we have stacked a package full of them to ship home. Thank you, Lincoln. Worth the trip!
The display of planes and other memorabilia is excellent. Well laid out. Easy to get around and view. Worth the visit. Also has some vintage farm equipment to have a look at also.
So interesting and full of old planes, engines, and aviation exhibits - Lincoln has devoted himself to gathering and preparing this fantastic collection and was full of aviation info and experience
What a hidden gem run by an amazing man. Very informative and impressive collection. Both my husband and I enjoyed our visit immensely 🥰 made the millennial mistake of arriving with no cash, so bring cash haha
A great collection of (mostly) Australian related aircraft and items, a huge collection of models compliment this. I was given a guided tour by the lovely gentleman who owns/runs the museum. Well worth a visit at $5 for entry (it is cash only)
An amazing collection by one man, a life's work.
Absolutely incredible experience for anyone who has an interest in planes, engines, engineering. Most knowledgeable owner and if you can't tell: he loves planes!! Great spot to visit!
A fantastic hidden gem that shows off the most extensive private collection of ww2 aviation models and actual aircraft I've seen. A 27,000cc v12 Rolls Royce Merlin engine was started up for our group with cheers all round as it fired into life!

By far the best wine experience in the Barossa, for Italian varietals you can't go past Dell'uva. Located in Greenock, they also do great pizza. It was back to Dell'uva at Greenock on Sunday, and great to catch up with Wayne Farquhar, the maestro behind the brand. He specialises in varietals, and currently has 30 different varietals on his cellar door list. In total he has about 100 varieties in the ground, of which 50 have made it to bottled wine. They are just releasing the 2021 vintage , of which i am looking forward to tasting after Easter, however, dont expect to see any wines from 2022, they got hammered by hail losing 90% of the crop. The Fiano from 2021 is almost gone, the 2020 Arinto is still one of my favorites. The only thing Wayne adds to the wine is bentonite , you will never get a hangover from his wines, they are clean pure and delicious.Nothing is altered to enhance colour or flavors . If you enjoy talking wine spend some time with Wayne, his knowledge is inspirational. My favorites from today were the 2020 Vino Blanco, a blend of Albarino Reisling & Vermentino, and the 2016 Dolcetto, which had 4 years in oak. This is a smooth fruit driven red, its elegant and silky, and picked a gold medal with 93 points thru Wine Showcase magazine The vilage of Greenock is becoming a stand alone destination these days with 4-5 wineries, a Brewery, a terrific pub doing really good meals, an oval for self contained campers, and a couple of really good dining options including El Estanco, who put a spanish twist on casual dining. #travelsouthaustralia #winetasting #rareozzies #barossavalley #delluvawines #varietalwines #travelaustralia
Do you think having a lot of variety means less in quality? Think again! Dell’uva exhibits mastery of all its wines with finesse. The tasting board will also keep your palate balanced with the great conversation from Wayne or Mitch. Highly recommended for a visit.
Great winery with a huuuuge range of European varieties all made here in SA still. Do a tasting with a group it's a very unique experience and the wines were magnificent. The cellar door is not as rustic or as characteristic as some you may find (it's still a great Celler door) but this is all about the wine here. We loved it and was our favourite stop of the day.
Amazing (free) tasting experience ! Tamara had so much knowledge and passion to share, such a lovely lady. And they have a huge variety of wine, impressive ! Probably one of the best tasting I ever done in Australia !
Our tasting with Wayne was as enlightening for our brains as it was our palate. His knowledge of variety is so impressive, he was patient and happily answered our many questions. His passion really comes through in the quality of his wines.
They promise you no headaches with this wonderful huge variety of wines. Family own and run business. Fabulous personal customer service. Amazing pizzas
Stuart and Jake were awesome hosts - extremely knowledgable, friendly and funny. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our tasting at Dell’Uva. The vineyard is unique in that it grows a large selection of European varietals, which makes it a must visit as they are really doing something different and absolutely nailing it! We enjoyed all the wines we tried & the stand outs for us were the Albariño, Tourga Nacional, Graciano, & the Sandstone Shiraz! Definitely make time to visit & try some new varieties ☺️
Highly recommended! Great wine! Great small winery that got recommended to us by some locals and didn't disappoint!! Beautiful place, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. We also got a pizza to share during our wine tasting which was incredibly tasty! Thank you guys for looking after us!

Owner and operator is absolutely lovely. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Wines are great and doing a vertical tasting is something you don't get in many places. A very friendly place and a must stop in the area.
Shluter Wines by Mick is a great little treasure! The unassuming atmosphere, combined with Mick's exceptional wines and warm hospitality, creates an experience that is both genuine and memorable. If you're looking for a place that isn't commercial and where delicious wines meet great stories, Shluter Wines by Mick is the perfect place. Make sure to ask about the wine labels and the memorabilia around the place - there's some great stories behind some of them. I'm grateful for the care and effort Mick also put into ensuring we could enjoy his wines even after leaving the cellar door as he went above and beyond for us, helping us post our wines (not just from Shluter) back to NSW. We truly felt so welcomed and loved all the Shluter wines, I didn't want to leave. A heartfelt thank you to Mick for such a great experience. I'm definitely visiting if I get the chance to revisit the area again.
Mick is great to have a chat with, and all his wines are great
A must visit while in the Barossa Valley! The tasting room is always a good time. Between being hosted by Mick “Mickster” Schluter and a beautiful line up of wines to try a good time is guaranteed!
Stumbled across Micks cellar door on way to Greenock. Glad we did. Friendly, generous service and super wines. We've visited well over 100 cellar doors and would definitely recommend including on your itinerary.
Stumbled across Mick's venue and it was not a disappointment! Great variety of Shiraz and such an authentic, relaxed experience. Would recommend to stop there!
Mick was such a pleasure! So knowledgeable with rich history. First time we tried a vertical tasting and what a way to start it! We loved every single glass he poured us. Couldn’t recommend this gem of a spot enough! We couldn’t decide if we should take him or the wines home. He resisted, we took the wine bottles.
Nunc est bibendum is the moto for Mick Schluter’s wines and what is not to like about meeting Mick at Schluter Wines. My wife and I had an excellent tasting with Mick and thoroughly commend him on his hospitality and quality of his wines. I cannot wait to return to Greenock and to Schluter wines.
