It's a very cute location to see so many Penguins in these areas. Nice and clean park with a good ocean view. Visitor information Centre on the opposite side is also worth a visit. Surprisingly, there is a Blue TARDIS located there as well.... Soon we may see Doctor Who there ☺️.
I recommend a visit to the town of Penguin. I stopped there twice on a recent trip, once on either end, it's in a convenient place for driving to Devonport. It's a beautiful place for a snack, a walk and some photos. There is a really nice cafe, Penguin Country Bakehouse, a supermarket if you want to stock up before moving on and a very helpful Visitor Information Centre. This is a town that takes it's theme and runs with it. There are penguins everywhere. On the bins, holding the litter bags and decorating stores. But The Big Penguin is the highlight and landmark of the town he's a perfect photo opportunity. Certain times of the year he's dressed up for celebrations. The Big Penguin is located is a park with a walking path. Next to the statue is a much appreciated Tardis shaped street library. Perfect for those needing a new book. I really appreciate the children's playground with its communication board.
Such a beautiful little spot by the sea to have a cuppa while the kids play! The town is Penguin themed in Penguin! Penguins themed bins, poles & giant Penguin to take a photo with! Friendly locals, too!
The French Vanilla slice at the bakery was so yummy and the lady at the information centre was so helpful and friendly 🙂
What a quaint little town. Beautiful beach, quaint shops and cafes. Numerous Penguin themed areas. Need to research when the real ones will appear though.
Loved this town, great coffee across the road as well worth pulling off the highway to visit!
The town of Penguin across the road fron the beach is very colourful and user friendly.
Nice town for picnic near the beach. Good pie shop

Nice place to hunt for vintage stuff, crystals or listen to live music on a Sunday morning.
Music shouldn’t be so loud, no respect for those that live in the area and have to put up with it every Sunday. One should be able to listen to music in their own home without having it being drowned out by music from elsewhere.
Always a great place to visit & spend some time walking around the huge range of goods onsale, the biggest market on the N/W coast & every Sunday too. Other outdoor markets like Wynyard are great & only every second Sunday, but we'll worth seeing as there's a different variety of goods on offer compared to penguin market. But both are worth a visit for sure, lots of beautiful jewellery & gemstones at penguin & the shop with all the wizards is really incredible to walk through, we got some hand knitted beanies last time. Had to ask a couple others who had kids ones where to find adults & two stall holders showed us where to go to get them. She had tons of them in baskets. The merino wool 3 pair of sox & the natural soaps are great value too. Always lots of bargains to be had.
A great place to bring together people of different crafts and collectibles. A great variety of food stalls. In doors making a great day regardless of weather. Kids would love it.
All indoors which is great. Cafe at venue is nice. Live music on site. . More like a trash and treasure market. Sorry would not go out of my way to go to this market as I thought it would be a craft market
After attending the Deloraine Craft show 2 days prior, I thought this would be more of the same. No, 90% of the stalls were budget-priced imported goods, not local quality product. An hour later, we happened to drive past the market at Wynyard, sadly we did not have time to stop, what we could see of the stalls was far more in keeping with local products.
Great vibe, friendly stall owners, heaps of variety. Great place to visit on a Sunday
Great little market every Sunday

Absolutely loved! We were strolling around and came across thsi beautiful and peaceful place. There's a small river, windmill, bridge, basketball court, children play area and baby ducks. It was well maintained as well as very ideal for picnic. I dipped my feet on the river felt like heaven!
Amazing peaceful area to relax bbq and watch platypus, ducks and native chickens. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice. Great playground. Goos parking and toilet.
Great experience. We went to tulip farm from Launceston and while returning we need some place to have a bit like picnic with family which I found this place most suitable. Clean toilet, good place for bbq, park overall outstanding 👍
Worth stopping, well manicured parklands.
Great place to stop off and let the kids run wild for a bit, they will need supervising as there are no fences near the water. Great place to feed the friendly ducks lol
A large area to wander and relax with a book. There were ducks for entertainment and on sch a glorious warm and sunny made the walk more enjoyable.
Lovely park for a picnic. There's a beautiful windmall replica, a lovely playground and it's not far from the waterfront.

Nice easy track, did this with my 9yr old. We did tracks 1,2,3,4,6,7,8 took about 40mins. Some nice little jumps, drops and bends.
It was the first time for our 10yo daughter to do mountain biking track. It was challenging for her and she had a few falls. Overall we thought it was fun but tiring. The signage could be better. From the start we were not sure where to go and then on the path there was a bit of confusion with the colour coding. I recommend packing water as it takes longer than expected and take a picture of the map at the start.
The jumps are amazing even doable for younger children Even the trails are pretty good. considering the area restriction there are better places to go for trails in the area If you want jumps though this is the place for you. 10/10 absolutely epic
A great little park created by the Cradle Coast Mountain Bike Club. Everything from beginners to advanced riding. Flow, tech, jumps you name it, it’s got it. Also links to the Dial Range trails to the south if you want an even bigger ride.
Cool place really went there to see the old Speedway Track
