This is such a beautiful place to visit. We got a guided tour of 2 of the studios and it was so interesting! If you enjoy local artists I highly recommend it!
Our tour guide gave a great insight into Norman Lindsay's life and career. We were taken into the painting studio and the etchings room. The original house is now the gallery for paintings left in the house. I can only say that it was well worth doing and Hubby and I highly recommend it.
We enjoyed a wonderful historic place. From the gallery to the painting and etching studios and the garden sculptures in the grounds. Works so diverse from the nudes to The Magic Pudding. Our tour guide was very informative.
A very interesting place to visit. Lovely old home/gallery and beautiful grounds with some magnificent sculptures. Our volunteer guide, Andy, was very knowledgeable and filled us in on the life and times of this amazingly talented artist, who was way more than just a painter. Definitely worth checking out.
National Trust managed home and studio of Norman and Rose Lindsay. Here you can see the sculptures in their garden settings as well as the ones that are still uncast in concrete the way he designed them. It’s always exciting to see the etchings press that Rose worked to create the numbered Lindsay prints. The ship models are here as are the marionette puppets from The Magic Pudding. I have been coming here every year of my life. I have also read many of Norman’s novels. The art gallery and museum is a great window into their world. Bring a picnic and walk through the bush to talk about your impressions of this special part of Australiana.
Norman Lindsay Gallery was such an interesting place. The guide bought the life of Norman Lindsay to life for me. I'm not an art person but I really enjoyed our car club's visit.
A very interesting tour of an eccentric Australian artist. Wasn’t the biggest fan of his subject matter, but it was fascinating seeing all the different mediums he used to create art. Also interesting was the preserved house, painting studio and etching shed. Great volunteers, very friendly and informative. The gardens were the highlight of my visit, they were stunning and so well kept.
What a great collection of all facets of the artistic talents of Norman Lindsay. Do the tour to the artists studio and old etching studio. If you are adventurous, take the walk down the hill to the pool and take the path to the left for a great bushwalking with valley views. 2 hours is a conservative time to do all of that.

Park benches, play equipments and toilets all available. Great rest spot right beside the highway.
Whilst this was an interesting part of our heritage within Australia it is sad to see that it is not as well looked after as it should be. There has been conjecture over the years on the maintenance and it is apparent.
A lovely place to go for a stroll and take a dog for a walk. There is a place where there is a bowl and a tap so the dog can drink out of that and a small playground nearby with public toilets. Side road parking so not recommend for 4WD
Well maintained park with historical and educational significance with oak trees planted by Australia's past prime ministers. An interesting place to visit for a quick stop on your travels.
Worth a visit, but note some Prime Minister's have not planted trees. There are toilets onsite.
Excellent victory track walk to Clarinda, then 2 creeks further on right turn upcreek to Numietta Falls about 4 hours return and 210m up & down moderate mostly great track
The Corridor of Oaks park is dedicated to former prime ministers of Australia. The park has some great new sandstone landscaping with lots of new seating and an upgraded walkway but is still awaiting oak tree memorials for ex prime ministers Tony Abbott,Malcolm Turnbull and Scott Morrison, However the oak trees appearance suggests they are struggling to survive.which is a shame because it detracts from what should be a deserved and respectful memorial.
It's very interesting seeing all the plaques of past Prime Ministers. It's also funny seeing where they are placed- not always in chronological order- some have their tree planted far away from their political opponent!

I have been purchasing Ugg boots from Blue Mountain Boots for years. This is my fourth pair from this business. They are well priced, come in the colour I want, and are hassle-free. I highly recommend you try their genuine sheepskin products rather than buying synthetic. Try the budget slippers for around the same price as inferior synthetic options - they last for years!
Attendants were keen to let customers know these Ugg boots were made in Australia, unlike the UGG boots company known worldwide. Unfortunately when I got home I found that the products within the store are all made in china and are highly overpriced due to this (printed on a very inconspicuous tag inside the lining of the boots). It’s obvious the people at this store are willing to lie about their product and you therefore cannot trust the quality. Have quite a bad taste in my mouth from the experience.
I usually buy our Ugg boots from Sydney but wanted to buy local to me this year. If you come here please go directly to the male attendant who was polite and had a very happy disposition. Do not go to the female attendant. She was dry, unhelpful and looked genuinely inconvenienced when I asked for a different size. She seemed to speak at me instead of to me. Hopefully they see this and fix their customer service, I got what i wanted and left immediately as she gave the impression they didn't need customers.
Ordered online yesterday 26/Oct/2023 and delivered by Australia Post this morning; exactly 24 hrs from order to receive. Very responsive communication & easy to deal, and very fast delivery. I can now proudly gift Australia Made Ugg boots to friend in China. 👍 Thanks Martin, love the 3 boots.
My son’s long uggs needed some repair as the soles had pulled away from the underside of the boots. Fiona went out of her way to help: she collected them from me while on a private trip to Melbourne and organised for one of her craftsmen to actually replace the soles. Blue Mountain Ugg covered the return postage and the repair cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Blue Mountain Ugg both for the quality of the product and the helpfulness of the team.
Great Australian made UGG boots. Do yourself a favour, pay a little more for quality items that will last.
The pictures says it all. We were out walking In Wisconsin winter. Trudging through at least 12 inches or 30 cms of snow for 1.5 hr. Our feet were dry and toasty and not tired!! . Thank you for the ugg boots!! But remember to buy only made in Australia UGG!! In the last few years I have bought many pairs of boots , slippers for family and friends both in The USA and Australia. It is always a very loved and well received gift!!
I bought my first pair of Uggs from this place whilst visiting Sydney 8 years ago...I'm visiting my son who now lives in Melbourne and just had my second pair delivered! Fantastic service, they confirmed on email what size I would need. I wouldn't buy Uggs from anywhere else.

Amazing collection which are very eyes catching. You can have a look closely insides the shop as the pieces are well kept with brief explanation together in glass cabinet. Boss is friendly as well.
I recently visited Faulconbridge Antiques, I specifically drove 90 minutes to see this store as I was planning on purchasing their glasses and marble pedestals which I had seen online, we arrived at the store and prior to walking into the store there’s dozens of signs everywhere asking people not to photograph along with no touching. Just as I was walking into the store I was sending an sms to a friend, and the store owner immediately said to me no photographs in the store, I replied sure no problem I’m just sending an SMS, I was continuing to type the sms and the store owner said to me no photos allowed in the store, I replied yes, no problem, and then 30 seconds later the guy said to me no photographs in his store, I replied to him that I’m not taking photos I’m sending an sms, note I hadn’t even walked within 1 metre of the store, I finished the sms and then was looking for a photo on my phone of the wine glasses that I have at home so I could buy the exact same glasses, I found the image on my iPhone of my glasses as I want to have 20 glasses in total for an upcoming event hence why I drove 90 minutes to the store, while searching for the photo the store owner said to me no photos in his store, I replied politely along with frustration in my voice that I was not and will not take any photos in his store, I was going to show the image on my phone to the store owner so he could direct me to these glasses, instead his extremely rude behaviour turned me off buying the glasses which I found in his store including the marble pedestals, instead I will purchase similar items elsewhere, instead of him getting a $15000 sale, I would rather go elsewhere! The store is well maintained and clean, however, the sheer rudeness of this guy has put me off buying nor will I recommend this business.
As you walk inside, you are like in a museum where you can buy anything. Beautiful French and English antique furnitures - replika and original. Extremely nice and professional service. Higly recomended!
Magnificent store full of affordable exquisite pieces. The perfect gift shop for those looking for something unique and interesting. The boys are wonderful, very knowledgeable, friendly and likeable. I’ve shopped my way through all the outdoor furniture. It’s exquisite! Starting on the inside statues now. 🤩
So many wonderful antiques and collectables to choose from, will be back again and again!!
Spectacular selection of glassware and ceramics, beautifully displayed. All the best names. Garden furniture, cast iron, bamboo, is also impressive.
"antiques" is all silly and fun and games until you lift open the head of a 2 metre long, 30 cm wide vintage buzz lightyear toy and find the rotting carcass of an aborted fetus. Lovely place, will be coming back.
All i could say every time i looked at a item was wow wow the pictures on your sites are lovely but to see your items in person is magnificent i was in awe at the beauty and quality of every single piece.I felt like i stepped back in time and placed into a kings room full of treasure.Thank you for your time and patients with my many question.

My son and I had the most wonderful experience at Blue Mountains Spa and Beauty! Alycia and Amber made us feel so welcome and taken care of from start to finish. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth made our treatments extra special – we both left feeling completely relaxed and recharged. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to unwind and feel truly looked after.
I had the most amazing hot stone massage with Alycia. She gave an incredible treatment which had me the most relaxed I have ever felt in a massage. Not only that, but her quiet soothing voice and minimal communication throughout massage, added to the whole blissful experience. I will be back!
Really enjoyed the body experience treatment package, felt so relaxed and my skin looks and feels amazing! Alycia is amazing, the room ambiance is perfect, two hours of relaxation and pampering, loved every minute. As always, thank you so much.
I have been seeing Alycia for more than 15 years, and have never had a negative experience. She really understands skincare, and is passionate about reducing environmental impact both in salon and in products she recommends and sells. I don't trust anyone else with my eyebrows :-) I love spoiling myself with a facial or massage every now and then too. She also has vouchers, and I have frequently gifted these for Mother's day and other occasions. I recently made an appointment for my daughter who has started to experience some breakouts, and Alycia was patient and kind and spent time making sure my daughter understands how to care for her skin through her teenage years. Highly recommend!
I have been going to Alycia for 10+ years and will continue to do so. If you want a massage, facial or waxing I highly recommend Alycia. Alycia has such a genuine calming energy, she is always lovely, professional and very knowledgeable. She gives honest advice for YOU and your needs, I always feel comfortable and never judged. BONUS: she uses all organic products too.
I was running late and Alycia was so understanding. Still took time with me to complete all my waxing needs. I had a full on morning and I found once I arrived at the Spa to have a very relaxing time and I was getting a wax. Alycia takes the time to make sure all the hair is gone-especially when shaping your eyebrows. I have been waxed by Alycia for over ten years now and I always come out of there feeling more relaxed and happier. Highly recommend them!
Zero star necessary. Check your hair before leaving this salon because they won’t tell you if they spear dye through your freshly done hair. I had my eyelashes and eyebrows dyed here and have never experienced having dye smeared through my hair in 15 years of getting the same treatment done. Lady could not even have the decency to tell me before I left salon. When I saw it in the mirror at home, I tried to wash it out with warm water and shampoo. Went straight back to salon and owner said I should have used cold water rather than warm water implying I made it worse. Owner tried to diffuse situation by saying this is a common mistake and that it’s happened to her a few times. We had a verbal agreement between owner and myself to refund service and to pay to rectify hair, I’m still waiting on the full payment to rectify hair months later. Unprofessional behaviour by owner, terrible experience.
Had a wonderful facial here, Alycia is dedicated to delivering a relaxing and soothing experience to her clients. She is supremely professional and exclusively uses organic products. Blue Mountains Spa and Beauty provides exceptional beauty services.
