Such a gorgeous spot! Words cannot describe how beautiful it is. There are a few different walks that are available depending on how long you want to be there for. Each walk is breathtaking. The autumn colours are gorgeous. Reds, yellows, oranges, green, the trees are just full of colour.
Plenty to explore specifically from now on to coming days. We spent only about 1.5hrs & required more to explore the natural beauty. Found one family with professional photographer. Very well maintained with detailed information on plant 🪴 species. Photography: Excellent 👌 Colourful view: Perfect 🤩 **No entry fees** Volunteered donation option** Please visit website for details. Plentiful of parking 🅿️ & toilets 🚽 Three different tracks.
Such a beautiful, peaceful place! The autumn colours were glorious. Short paved path was suitable for wheelchair. Toilets with grab bar another asset. Will come back in spring.
This was our second visit here, but this time the season was just right for the amazing view and colours. A few different trails take you to different parts with different trees and colours.
Absolutely brilliant, watching autumn/winter trees shed their beautiful vibrant colourfull leafs.
Nice place for a stroll, have been in Autumn & it was spectacular with the leaves changing colour and falling. This time late October it's still pretty but there is a lot of sheep roaming in there & you have to keep your eyes on the ground because the droppings are all over the paths & difficult to avoid! Wear an old pair of shoes. They have long drop toilets & picnic areas.
Amazing trails. Healing place. Beautiful nature.
Picturesque scenery with an abundance of birds amongst the gentle trails. Watch out for the sheep muck

We had a lovely stay at Jalbrook, the cottages are nice, comfortable, and very well equipped with all the things you need. We especially enjoyed sitting on the veranda watching the birds in the peaceful surroundings. The spa pool was also the perfect way to unwind. The town is a short walk/drive with a few cafes to choose from for breakfast and lunch. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommend if you would like to relax and unwind.
Such a beautiful spot to stay, the gardens around the property are stunning, well maintained. Autumn was such a wonderful time to go as all the autumn trees are stunning! The cottage we stayed in was really cozy, including a spa and a wood heater. No complaints at all! Would definitely go again.
I've stayed here twice now, both winter escapes. Once for a girls weekend away and again with my partner for a quiet weekend together. I love it, the cottages are warm and cozy, the hot tub a fabulous bonus. Quiet and private, we had everything we needed. Will definitely go back
We stayed at Jalbrook for 5 days for our wedding celebration and those 5 days were perfect. The hot tub was amazing, the staff were a great help with set up and pack down and Lynn was a great help with everything. The views are stunning 😍 everything went perfectly, better than we imagined and it’s a week we won’t forget. Thank you for hosting us and I would highly recommend Jalbrook for any wedding or even a relaxing getaway. Can’t wait to stay again. Thank you a million Lynn and crew.
Stunning location. Even though there are other houses around you, it feels like you are alone in nature. We stayed in the Ibis Spa Chalet and it was wonderful. All of the organising was seamless through the website and email. We explored the area and the spa bath was the absolute highlight. Highly recommend
My partner, family, and wedding party had the pleasure of staying at Jalbrook for our wedding weekend and also having our wedding ceremony on the beautiful grounds during autumn. The beauty of Jalbrook's grounds in autumn completely blew myself and my guests' away. Lynn and her team were amazing and responded to all of our needs leading up the wedding and on the day with promptness and professionalism. I would highly recommend Jalbrook to anyone planning their wedding.
Wonderful..stayed for the weekend to attend a pottery class nearby. Very chilly however appreciated the wood fire and heated tub, And a bonus electric blankets. Something about waking up to misty, raining Aussie bush. Thank you
Absolutely blissful stay at Jailbrook Estate! Having access to a private spa every morning and evening was such luxury, and coming inside to the beautiful fireplace on a cold autumn night felt so cozy—we truly felt right at home. The autumn leaves in Balingup at this time of year are some of the best in WA. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Probably one of the best pub meals I’ve ever had. The steak I had was perfectly cooked, the creamy garlic sauce was outstanding, and the side salad was fresh. The servings were generous and our only complaint was that we were so full, we couldn’t try the brownies for dessert.
We ordered 3 fish & chips (takeaway), generous portions and delicious. Definitely recommend. Would definitely go back next time we are down this way. Bar manager extremely friendly and helpful.
A large group of us showed up unannounced on a public holiday. Our lunch here was delicious, in particular the salt and pepper squid. The chap working here was pleasant and efficient and the space is a really nice one to spend time in. Will make sure to stop again when we are next in the neck of the woods
Waited an hour and a half for 2 roast meals. Our group had all received and finished their meals. No roasts there. This was the long weekend just gone. Barman Manager was handling drinks, money and then using hands to put food items on plates and deliver meals. Our roast meat slathered in gravy, roast veg and a token piece of broccoli were reheated leftovers. Meat in gravy was stewed, potatoes hard and dried out. Other veg very forgettable. We should have been told at the time of ordering that the meals were leftovers. This is Not Acceptable. Likely cooked a day or two before and refrigerated. We would have selected something else or more likely gone elsewhere. Won' be going back and will be sharing our disgust with everyone.
Just had a fabulous day at the Medieval Festival. To complete our night we were drawn to the Balingyup Tavern by the music. Amazing Atmosphere, friendly service, great food and drinks. Thanks for the fun!!!
We always enjoy coming here when visiting. Chicken parmi was great, salads fresh and beer cold. Good value and great building. And Eddy is always friendly 👍
The food was delicious & the service friendly & helpful. We will definitely be back & would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
Fantastic customer focus - only $15 for a take-away bottle of Jacob's Creek Cab Sav. Unbelievable! Manager sounded French accent (?) Good customer focus, too. Values visitors and tourists. Balingup will go far with entrepreneur residents like him & his team. Congratulations Team Balingup Tavern ! (seemed to be well patronised by locals too - always a very good sign) - Don Hunter of Fremantle, WA

Balingup is the cutest little town. I loved the craft and knitting shops. The ladies were so friendly & generous. It’s on the bucket list to return when they have the Medieval fair. Loved it.
Perfectly proportioned Small visitor centre for a small town. Friendly staff with a smile. Lots of information available for free and purchase. Loved the roadside witches upon Balingup approach!
Nice experience- friendly, informative, chatty. Thanks to Lela, from whom we learnt lots about the area, and also met the Artist behind some of the souvenirs!
Lovely customer service from the lady Roselea (if I remembered her name correctly). She gave us route information and recommending the neighbouring store beside hers. We didn't managed to visit that store though due to time constraint. Gotten magnets and a hat there. My parents got free tote bags from the lady Roselea. Feeling blessed. A place for good information and good customer service. Highly recommended! 👍
Beautiful visitors Centre lots of information about the areas and some great gifts etc to purchase
Wonderful eclectic place to visit in Balingup. Great friendly staff.
It's a beautiful and very unique Visitor centre. So much information left outside when they are closed.
I have never received the compassion and kindness as I did from Raeline.when I was upset and traumatised by an incident with a family member. She simply hugged me then set about getting me on a bus to Perth. Cannot thank her enough.

Amazing variety of local crafts and works. Really nice to walk around and surprised if you don’t find something you like
ANTIQUE STORE Interesting, and lots of knick knacks and unusual old type second hand wares. It's great for book collectors, but it's not the old cheese factory that I was expecting. A bit more expensive than what you can get online, but interesting arts and crafts. They've done away with the old cafe, so it's not there anymore, which was a shame.
Lovely shop with so many little quirky things something for everyone.
Was shocked at the size of the place..5 different rooms full of new & old items. Not wheelchair friendly for those who may be thinking of visiting.would visit again just for the book room.
After seeing the reviews and photos we were intrigued and had to drop in and see for ourselves. It was so worth the visit and so true to the reviews. An abundance of wares, art, books, furniture and so much more. If you can’t find anything to buy here you just don’t know how to shop. It was such a friendly and captivating atmosphere. So glad to visit and somewhere we must call back to next time we are in the area or passing through. Well worth the stop.
Called in here for a look around and found a great collection of very reasonably priced 2nd hand book. I walked out with 3 great books for under $10, what a bargain!
Best described as 'unique'. Has a vast array of refurbished, new, handmade and off-the-shelf books, art, furniture and gifts that one could browse for hours. If you want flashy and edgy, this isn't the shop for you... But a lovely place to while away an afternoon if you're in the area.
I genuinely think I spent 3 hours (or maybe even longer) in this amazing place. There is SO many things to look at. Ended up buying a heap of cool things when I thought I’d walk out empty handed when going in. I would 100000% recommend checking this place out, give yourself a lot of time to look around though, trust me when I say that!

A gem of a shop located in downtown beautiful Balingup. Friendly service with a smile. The building itself is quirky and nostalgic, beautiful windows. I could browse for a long time! So many products and information - all with different aromas to try. Something for everyone - medicinal, books, sweets and raw honey.
Beautiful shop with a huge verity of essential oils and sprays. Very lovely girl who works there and is full of knowledge. Been a few time and definitely will go back
Absolutely lovely shop, beautifully presented and decorated. With essential oils, eye masks, body lotions...a must for a browse or to purchase top quality products from them, just gorgeous 🥰
I have been using Tinderbox products for 21 years. This company is an Australian treasure. I spend a fortune on this stuff twice a year, getting it shipped overseas. Best products around, can't do without it.
Fantastic shop with great products. Has a variety of dried flower and herb. Pictures oils creams and potions. Very inspiring
Nice shop and a lot of products I really like everything smells aroma. I recommend to everybody try.
Great place in a wonderful little country town. Staff are very friendly and helpful with your inquiries. A must visit.
Stunning shop stocked with amazing products. We will be back!
